Been a bit since I last did this so let's get a move on.

👏 So,... Sun's broken... again. It's probably worse this time around. He just had to kill his own brother. To make it even worse, he had to kill the brother who actually showed he cared for him... that's... that's not something you walk away from without a few scars.

Plus to make it worse they got lost in Dark Sun's castle and had to walk past Nexus' melted remains....

5 TIMES!!!!

5 times! You can not tell Dark Sun didn't at least realize that would happen. I'm not saying he built the castle that way, so it would happen, BUT.... this is Dark Sun, we're talking about.

[Edit: They might not have actually walked past his body five times. I may have misinterpreted something Moon said, but they still might have, so I'm imagine that cause it's funny and traumatizing]

When they get back home, Sun immediately goes upstairs to process everything, and from how he sounded, he's definitely 6 the verge of tears, if not a full-blown mental breakdown.... and Moon just dips. Sort of. He goes to his lab to track down Dark Sun and Ruin. Moon, your brother just had to kill his other brother. I know, and I am proud of you for admitting you aren't the best with emotions, and you wish you could help Sun emotionally but can't, and that's fine... BUT you can't just walk away when your brother desperately needs you right now. You didn't even need to say anything. Just go up there and sit next to him. Be the shoulder he can cry on. Worry about Ruin and Dark Sun later. Solar was the real mvp of this episode. He was the first to call out Moon on his rather apathetic actions. He was the first to comfort Sun, and come to think of it, he might be the ONLY person to comfort Sun in this episode. So, good on you, Solar. M.V.P!

Okay.... Sun is still broken. Like, he's really REALLY messed up. So, Sun asks Earth and Lunar to take care of Dazzle while he tries to recover mentally. Lunar and Earth are really owning the uncle and auntie status. You both are just a wonderful tag team when it comes to taking care of kids.

Lunar called her Doedrop. Awwww! 😊🥺😭 That's so stinkin' cute!

Eclipse and Puppet handled this situation a lot better than I thought they would have. Huh. Character growth.

Also, Ruin, I really don't believe you're the only reason why Nexus didn't come after F.C. I just don't think Nexus thought of that. Also...

It was you! You killed Nexus!

Okay, so, remember this episode...

Ruin asked Solar if he could borrow a very small propane tank...

Remember that? Guess what he did with that propane tank?

He put it in Nexus! He made a makeshift bomb that was supposed to go off once it was hit by a blast of positive star power, but Sun's magic triggered it instead. So, does that mean Sun killed Nexus, or Ruin killed Nexus or both of them? Like, who's more at fault here?

Point is Ruin, Thank you for killing Nexus, but you also traumatized Sun, so.... ya.

Oh, also, the astrals MIGHT be coming here soon, or this place has their own astrals, which is still bad.

Oh, also, they found the other Foxy, and he's still in the Pizza-plex Eclipse chased him, but he got away... so, Puppet, F.C., Foxy.. watch out.

"Life Mission: Save My Brothers" is a Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles separated AU (alternate universe) where it explores on the concept that Splinter saved only one turtle after the mutation process: Leo. The other turtles are separated in the world: Raph was brought to and raised by Big Mama to be a Battle Nexus Champion, Mikey was taken by Draxum and trained to become a warrior to combat humans for the Yokai to take over the surface, and Donnie was thought to be dead but was taken in by a mob until he ran away and found Big Mama at the age of 7. Their story involves their process of finding out that they are not alone, that they have family, and how they reunite and become the ninjas they were always meant to be.

Mikey's mystic powers haven't developed fully and Donnie's and Leo's were dwindling. There was one way to regain that power, one way to turn the tide to their favor, and, possibly, save the twins' bond.

Pieces of Home 🌊

"Pieces of Home" is an original TMNT iteration where Donnie is the oldest, followed by his twin Raph, their middle sibling Mikey, the youngest turtle Leo, and their little sister April. The turtles were all once human and lived a happy, normal life until one day, a mysterious person cursed them with a green, magical liquid that burnt away their human bodies and mutated them to half turtles. Their father, Splinter, was mutated to a rat and his husband was never seen since. 12 years later, Leo ventures to the surface despite his oldest brother's wishes and finds secrets about his other father. Their journey begins when they discover who he was and when they receive gifts he left them.

I mentioned in a reblog thing that I'd wanted to make a Rise comic series called "ROTTMNT: UNPAUSED" and I hinted to one of the finale episodes being called "Mikey's Birthday Bash"

Well I'm gonna infodump about that now...

So basically the episode started off with Mikey waking everyone up for a special breakfast to celebrate his bday, only to discover that not only did his brothers forget his bday, they all made plans of their own. To quickly make up for it, the guys take him into the Hidden City for a quick shopping spree before they all have to leave for their engagements. While Mikey is looking for something to buy, he overhears his brothers conversing about how in the next year, Raph won't be a TEENAGE mutant ninja turtle anymore (he is 17 currently). Donnie adds that he is already looking for colleges to join and hopes for an early admission. Leo also admits he has been planning for the future. Mikey realizes that his brothers are all planning to leave and grow up, which he is not ready for. He runs away crying, and meets a strange old hag who sells him a "special" birthday candle, which she promises will grant his biggest birthday wish.

Mikey finds his bros again and uses the candle on a meager cupcake they got for him. As soon as he blows the candle out, the four are transported into a version of the Battle Nexus, trapped there along with every other character from the show (and my comics) by the hag who sold Mikey the candle. She reveals that Mikey's wish was for "everyone to spend my birthday together", and the only way for them to escape is for the turtles to win the tournament! The bros are furious at Mikey for making the wish, and Mikey promises to get through the games as quickly as possible so they can get back to their plans and leave.

The hag states that the turtles will be pitted against their previous enemies, and with each round they win they'll will receive more allies. Anyone KO’d will be eliminated from the round and sent to watch in the audience, and upon the ending of the game all contestants will be returned to their last location. The enemies will get progressively more challenging until they defeat all of their opponents.

Round 1, April is with the guys, and they are up against Baxter Stockboy, Albearto, and the Purple Dragons.

Round 2, the Casey Joneses join the fight against the Foot Clan.

Round 3, Draxum, Splinter, Big Mama, and the two missing siblings hinted at by the writers join against the evil league of mutants and the Mud Dogs. April is KO’d after getting slammed into a wall and knocked unconscious by Heinous Green. Cass is KO’d by Hypno after he hypnotizes her to knock herself unconscious as well. Draxum is KO’d by Meat Sweats after he steals his power.

Round 4, Several characters (such as Agent Bishop and Mona Lisa) join to fight against the Triceratons (which were introduced in my series). During this round, everyone is K.O.'d except the turtles. However, Mikey sees that he didn’t finish the battles in time and his brothers have missed their appointments. He feels guilty, and his brothers are admittedly irritated.

Round 5, the final boss battle. They are pitted against the Shredder and the Kraang. Before the fight begins, Mikey has a blowout with his brothers and finally admits that he was angry they were gonna leave because he was scared of growing up, as he is not ready to be an adult yet and he doesn’t want to be alone. The Kraang interrupts stating “I can help you with that” and captures Mikey. However, the Turtles get one last team member… Karai. The Shredder -- having been defeated and Oroku Saki redeemed -- turns against the Kraang and sides with the Turtles and his daughter. The boys defeat the Kraang using the special formula from the movie, but not before the Shredder and Karai are K.O.'D by the Kraang. The Kraang are defeated with the last of the mixture, but to the boys' horror they see that Mikey was kraangified, and now have to fight against him as their last opponent. They try, but are unable to defeat him due to his increased strength AND his ninpo. Leo refuses to admit defeat, saying “Mikey never gave up on me… I can’t give up on him.” He tries one last attack, grappling with Mikey and holding him down...

I happened to make sketches of what came next...

The game finished, everyone is returned home. Mikey apologizes for everything, but Raph admits that he isn’t ready to grow up yet either, and he never wants to leave Mikey alone. He found out the hard way what that felt like, and the brothers agree to wait a little longer to grow up and enjoy being the teenage mutant ninja turtles while they can. Back at the lair, everyone bursts in to make sure Mikey is okay. They spend the rest of the day with him, enjoying his birthday...

Off the bat with an amazing episode.

I LOVED this episode. We're finally getting into all the trauma Moon has faced. Everything he's ever done. Everything he ever did. It's all coming back, and he's really not doing well. He was too afraid of Nexus to help Sun.

Moon was afraid. MOON. WAS. AFRAID.

I never thought I'd hear those words.

This episode also made me realize that Moon's sacrifice really did mean nothing! Moon died for nothing. Killcode got to live for a bit, but he still died. Moon's death led to the creation of New Moon/Nexus. If Moon had just accepted his killcode instead of trying to get rid of it, none of this would have happened. Moon's death really did do more harm than good.

Earth really came in clutch here. This was basically a pseudo-therapy episode. (I miss those episodes. Those episodes were always neat)

Earth, you say you may not know what to say sometimes or you don't know what to do but when you do you really do!

I'm also glad Earth and Monty are being more honest with the other cause they are really cute, and I want these characters to be happy.

NEXT EPISODE...

Jack and Sun? Hanging out? YYYYEEEESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved this episode a lot, too. It's nice to Jack and Sun finally getting a chance to bond while Solar, Moon, and Monty battle the little barbershop of horrors plant outside. Sun and Jack actually make decent friends. I hope we get more of them hanging out and their dynamic. I loved how Jack finally was able to tell Sun that he felt threatened by Sun's friendship with Dazzle. I was hoping they would eventually talk that out, and I'm so glad it happened!

Things I learned in today's episode

1. Jack doesn't like ranged weapons like guns. (He likes throwing knives, though)

2. Jack has seen every James Bond film. Jack is a Bond fan.

3. Jack can kill a man with a pencil

4. Monty can build anything out of anything

Also, I really hope someone draws a picture of Jack dressed as V from V for Vendetta! Please, someone, draw that! I beg of the!

Also, I thought that scene where Jack was singing Walk the Moon's "Shut up and dance with me" when they were watching the ballroom fight scene from one John Wick movies

And lastly...

Welp. I'm glad they're friends. Shame it took the death of a kid for them to do so.

Jake was nice. He seemed so innocent. I actually felt super sad and worried when they said he died. I was like, "Oh no! Did the killer get to him?!" But no. He just passed..... I honestly think that's sadder for some reason.

Moon, Sun, and Eclipse are working through that loss, and I'm glad to see F.C. and Andrew are working through their own thing.

Yep, as I suspected F.C. is traumatized by what he saw. Seriously, Eclipse, a heads up would have been nice. I'm happy to see F.C. and Andrew get along. They have come a long way since well everything. I also thought it was funny when F.C. said he hated Andrew. I genuinely expected Andrew to be the one to hate F.C. not the other way around.

WE GOT A CLUE ON WHO THE KILLER COULD BE!!!

When F.c. and Andrew was leaving parts and service. Andrew found an open spray can of yellow paint.... the same yellow as the bunny suit the killer wore. The killer is indeed an employee or The Mimic (I will die on that hill till proven otherwise), so the Killer's suit isn't actually yellow, and he has access to the parts and service room. The Killer's identity is closer to being revealed! I. CAN'T. WAIT!

I loved today's episodes. Especially TLAES one.

Soooooo are the dropout discourse dipshits (ha alliteration) taking credit for Joan Ford being on um actually yesterday despite it being filmed months ago? Are they decrying it as tokenism? Is it Beardsley’s fault somehow?

The thing about this is that the way the controversy was framed, it is mathematically impossible to do better.

The argument was intentionally constructed to count individual appearances. That means every single time Sam Reich, owner of the company and host of multiple shows, appeared in an episode of anything, that went into the 'TME' box.

Um, Actually always has three contestants plus it's two 'TME' hosts. If Joan Ford competed on every episode, that's still 1:4 'TMA' vs. 'TME' appearances. You would have to have multiple shows headed that are all trans women to catch up anywhere close in individual appearances, which is only reasonable if you're insane and think your marginalized group is more important than any other. The whole issue is a complete refusal to accept that trans women are a minority, as are all trans people, who are also lumped in as 'TME' in this scenario despite the fact that the vast majority of their representation is just one person who's been with the company for years before they even came out as trans.

And, of course, it ignores that Dropout has now had two seasons of D20 featuring exclusively 'TMA' players, as well as an entire show hosted by a 'TMA' person. Ohhh, but drag doesn't count for some stupid ass reason, as though Dropout isn't a small nexus in the local LA entertainment scene.

◇ I hate it when I search up a character and some other thing shows up :| Like I just searched up Lunar to obviously see Lunar content (my pookie 💓) and why in the world did I see a Jack edit. No hate to him, but omg, SHOW ME WHAT I SEARCHED FOR 🤬

□ I despised how many people compared Lunar to Nexus. THEY BARELY SHARE ANYTHING IN COMMON. THEY WERE PLACED INTO DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES WHICH LED THEM TO DIFFERENT PATHS. PLEASE, WHAT DO YOU NOT GET?! 😭

◇ Epic animators had no business making Odysseus THAT attractive. I see him in any art style, and I understand why Poseidon was hot on his pursuit of him (AND PENELOPE, ESPECIALLY PENELOPE 🗣)

□ I have listened to TSAMS fan songs, and I don't like any of them 🧍‍♂️ I AM SO SORRY. I KNOW THEY PUT WORK INTO THEM, BUT I JUST CANT ROCK WITH THEM 😓

◇ My obsession with Lunar has gotten so bad. I won't even watch a video if it doesn't have him on it. I've missed about 4-6 episodes - I think 😥

□ I am not catched up with TEAPS. What is going on over there? All I know is that Foxy is dead and Eclipse is heavily traumatized now. Oh, and his children are missing

◇ I'm lowkey starting to hate Lumini...🧍‍♂️TOXIC YAOI HAS TAKEN ME. HELP

□ I'm confused about Solar x Nebula being a thing. Like ain't Nebula an astral? They work differently with emotions. Shown with Lumini since it was revealed that it was doomed because of how the Astrals worked. Unless Nebula is not an astral, then yeah, it's fine ig. If she is, then there's a flaw in the writing 🧍‍♂️Also this ship just seems like a lavender marriage 😭

◇ I'm watching Davis own series and honestly I fuck with them heavily. I love fairy tale the most as of now :] I ESPECIALLY LOVE VITALIS! I recommend watching his own series. They're pretty good :>

A few random disconnected thoughts about "Cut and Run," particularly the nexu attack scene:

We have a squad of elite battle hardened soldiers - literally the best of the best - who have recently gone right back into the lion's den to save their little sister and taken her with them despite not having the faintest idea how to take care of a kid who has next to no soldier training herself, and they just... roll with it ❤️🥹

Wrecker is "Uncle Wrecker," because of course he is and of course he naturally gets along great with kids ❤️ It's fascinating to see him in future episodes ("Common Ground" is the first that comes to mind) occasionally nudging Hunter in the right direction when it comes to resolving issues with Omega.

Hunter. Oh, Hunter. I love you so much, because you genuinely try so hard to be a good dad/bro 🥹 When the nexu attacks Hunter jumps right into "protect" mode, but as soon as the danger is over he chastises Omega.

What were you doing out there? Do you realize you could have been killed?

And then we have Cut's response:

Easy. She's not a soldier.

Now, we don't get much canon backstory on the Batch as cadets, but based on context it's safe to say Hunter's only experience with taking care of kids is keeping his crazy brothers in line long enough to pass cadet training - all while being a kid himself, I'll add. So it's understandable that his initial response to Omega is to reprimand her as he would his brothers - brothers who are currently adults, have always been the same age as him, and have been through similar life experiences - and subsequently Hunter decides it would be best for Omega to remain with guardians who have experience being parents. But when Omega makes her own choice, we see through the rest of the show that Hunter has taken the Lawquanes' advice and example to heart, and he just continues to love and protect Omega to the best of his ability.

Just look at Tech and Echo's reactions when they see how scared and shaken Omega is:

Interesting to note that after the nexu attack, Echo in particular starts keeping a closer eye on Omega.

We know Wrecker wasn't aware of the plan for Omega to stay with the Lawquanes, given that Wrecker asks where she is when they are about to take off before she rejoins them. Makes me wonder if Hunter didn't tell Tech or Echo about the plan either.

That being said, I wonder if Tech figured out Hunter's plan when he was asked to make 5 chain codes instead of just 4.

Tech says "That would be dirt" and leaves it at that. I headcanon that the reason why he didn't info dump further was because he was already starting to mentally compose a detailed curriculum for Omega covering everything from engineering principles and astronomy to wilderness survival skills.

I want to know if not I'm the only one but does anyone else get uncomfortable seeing people ship jack x Bloodmoon or solar x ruin and moon or nexus with solar?

I see jack as a preteen and Bloodmoon as adults, so it makes me uncomfortable.

1. Ruin knocked solar out for his code

2. Ruin killed him and over 5k dimensions

3. Solar doesn't like or hate ruin

4. Solar doesn't really give a crap about him

5. It's one sided

6. Sun and nexus saw both solar and ruin as cousin, ruin being the distant cousin that never went to family reunions. (Idr which episode, one of them being in one of the bunkers)

And obviously with moon or nexus being shipped with solar is pretty gross since they see each other as family.

I've been blocking people who ship ruin x solar because its more common, also can we stop spamming Ruin x solar or any ships in the live chat whenever Davis and Reed go live for SAMS, we only gotten two streams and it's pretty annoying seeing solar x ruin being spammed in chat.

Do just a small lil rant cause I’m bored again (^_^)

So does Solar know all the things that they did to nexus during these past months like for example

•Shocking him till he was unconscious multiple times (sun&the computer)

• putting him in a cell for about 4 days straight where the computer and Jack constantly insulted him before completely isolating him and basically helping push him deeper into insanity

•plan to kill nexus and pressure sun into agreeing

•put them in space where they where planning on keeping them for multiple days before killing them (but nexus had left before they got the chance to do so)

Like if I remember correctly Solar watched the show or well used too and he isn’t stupid enough to just take the one point of view that’s just being repeated over and over again and he’s definitely skeptical enough to want to see it for himself or at least see the episodes because he was very close if not the closest to nexus since lunar had been spacing themselves away from him since they came back and im sure he wouldn’t be happy to find out how quickly they gave up and didn’t even question anything about how he was acting and especially the unnecessary insults to them trying to find a sense of self through changing their name from moon to nexus since Solar had aswel changed their own name for almost the name reason since he didn’t like being seen as an eclipse and nexus didn’t like being seen as a moon
