lmao so RS just confirmed she STILL does not, in fact, have a buffer.
FAST PASS SPOILERS AHEAD

.
.
.
To kick this off, let's be real, 2 weeks is NOT enough time to build up a reasonable buffer.
When she took that 2 week break after the wedding episode went up, I knew 1 of 2 things was going to happen:
She was going to piss away the entire break on social media not getting anything done
Even if she DID get anything done and a reasonable buffer of more than 3-5 episodes built up, the episodes likely wouldn't be very high quality as you can't turn out shitloads of decent quality panels like that in just 2 weeks.
I think Rachel really just needs to acknowledge and take ownership of the fact that she is not good at managing herself, her time, or her team. When she started LO in the Originals section, she even admitted to not having a very strong buffer.
Now yes, in her defense, she hadn't fully transitioned to drawing LO full time when she started, but even still, she seems to treat her FastPass episodes as her buffer rather than creating an actual buffer.
A buffer is not "well I still have 3 episodes locked to the general public" or "I have the next couple episodes sketched up".
A proper buffer is "I have the next several episodes finished and exported and ready for their respective release dates." This ensures that they aren't racing to meet deadlines during the release period after pre-production (which is a surefire way to screw yourself over or write yourself into a corner) and that if anything happens in real life that prevents them from working on future episodes, they can still put out new episodes because they have a cushion of episodes still waiting to be released. Webtoons typically recommends its creators have anywhere from 9-15 episodes of buffer ready by the end of the pre-production phase. That usually means 3 free episodes, 3 FastPass episodes, and at minimum, 9 more episodes sitting on the backend, adding up to a minimum of 15 episodes. It sounds like a lot, but when many WT series run for 40+ episodes per season, 15 is a small number. Especially for a comic like LO which had 90 episodes in its S2 run and 116 in its first season. S3 of LO is already 37 episodes in.
She's also basically admitted to just writing as she goes in the past because most people working on their webtoons in productions like these have at least a decent skeleton of a story going on that they don't have to write as they draw. Writer's block doesn't happen in webcomics unless you're writing as you're going, same as how it doesn't typically happen in animated movies because you should already have a basis to work off of before you start the brunt of the visual work that needs a narrative structure to exist.
Now, all that aside, the reason I'm bringing this up again (as I've talked about her buffer range before) is because I've once again been proven that Rachel doesn't have a shred of a real buffer.
And the smoking gun this time was the horse.
This stupid fucking horse.
Now, besides the fact that we're a little sus this is meant to be an in-comic jab at all the criticism of LO pointing out how Persephone always looks like an MLP character-
-but that pony toy drawing didn't make its first appearance in Episode 241, it made its first appearance on Instagram. Not as a preview for episode 241 or as an official LO drawing, in her own words, 'just a pony'.
instagram
As always, this is still just an estimation based on what goes out in LO and what Rachel posts to her IG/Twitter, but this pretty much tells me her buffer is STILL only 1-2 weeks ahead of time, because that pony drawing time lapse was posted two weeks ago. When we checked the actual timestamp of the post the day the episode it showed up in went up (Episode 241) it was ten days old.
Not to mention, the timestamps on those reddit posts? A month old. Granted, we had been making MLP jokes in the ULO/antiLO community prior to that, but the fact that this "my pretty pony" gimmick came out so soon after someone did literal art of Persephone crossed over with MLP, it really just furthers the suspicion (in addition to shitloads of other instances) that Rachel is snooping in on these crit communities to try and "clap back" at them through her comic. Which is something she'd only be able to do with a limited buffer anyways as it allows her to change things on the fly in response to criticism or whatever hurt her feelings that week.
That said, I won't be certain of this 1-2 week buffer estimation until we see when cowboy hat Hades shows up.
instagram
I'm calling it now - it will be showing up in this week's episode which goes up April 22nd.
Place your bets, folks.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX Episodes 115 & 116 Subbed (Finalized)
(Previously: Episodes 113-114 Subbed [Finalized])
(Check out my Subbed!GX Stream Masterpost!)
TURN-115: Giese the Spirit Hunter
Cobra's second assassin was sent after Judai and the others--that assassin being Giese, who is capable of seeing Spirits. He captures Sapphire Pegasus, one of the Gem Beasts, alive and uses him to coerce them into dueling. In Judai's stead, due to his exhaustion of stamina, Johan confronts him, and a duel between Johan and Giese begins. Giese activates his Hunting Net Counter Trap, as if to hunt down Johan's Gem Beasts, and captures Amethyst Cat. Johan attempts to save his Gem Beasts, but even more traps would await him.
TURN-116: The Gem Beasts VS Hell Gundog
Giese proceeds to capture the Gem Beasts with various Trap Cards, while also summoning his Hell Gundog to pour on the attacks against Johan. Feeling anger at Giese's dirty dueling, Johan starts his counterattack, anticipating his Traps and overcoming them strategically by summoning Topaz Tiger and Emerald Turtle to attack with. Cornered, Giese goes for Johan's weakness, making him hold off on any of his attacks. With Johan unable to interfere with his moves, Giese activates his Substitute Pain Permanent Magic to inflict damage on him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sooo, accidentally ran later with these than intended--not helped by realizing while drafting this full release post over the past two days that I missed a couple spots with a few of my usual animation fixes 🙃--buuut with that out of the way, finalized!115-116 are now up and ready to go! This isn't a catch-and-release I promise
These are always a nice pair of episodes in terms of establishing more around Johan's bond with the Gem Beasts and how he sees his relationship to Spirits, as shown as he encountered Tom and when he finds out that Giese was the one who stole his card and Spirit (meanwhile, the dub decided to give them history for reasons); that Pegasus cameo as he introduces them to the Gem Beasts was always cool, and his "Jesus!" line is iconic haha. Also notable for showing the start of the "What am I dueling for?" question starting to stir within Judai's head after his duel with Satou (which is also conspicuously absent from the dub). Always did find Giese's ultimate fate after Johan crushes him--to "Camula's Theme," at that, which always slaps (and is especially nice given the easter egg that Johan's VA, Kanako Irie, also voiced Camula)--a bit ambiguous since we never do follow up with him, but it is implied the Spirits he hunted (and the one he actually saw as a friend?) either consumed him or took him to the Spirit World or what-have-you; I wonder if they would've added a quick follow-up had they had some room in the episode runtime.
Animation error-wise, well, that was part of the reason for the delay, as overall I handled about 31 throughout both episodes, split roughly evenly between them; varied from smaller quality-of-watching things like split-screen timings (with some border errors mixed in, at that) to card errors (moreso in 116 given how often Hell Gundog wound up on Johan's Disk...) making up the bulk of them, along with helping Topaz Tiger see better well good in 115's preview for 116 due to an error with his eye. Given the amount of fixes worked on, as with 113-114, I'll once again go through the usual edit breakdown in this separate post for the interested!
Anywho, enjoy! Up next, I'll hopefully be working on the Judai vs Cobra three-parter in 117-119 together; I'll be detouring back to TFSP to work on Crow's events in the 5D's character stories, mixing in some work on 117-119 as I go. In particular, looking forward to revisiting 119 since it's a favorite (between the art/animation, music, Cobra's message to Judai echoing Satou coming back later... *chef's kiss*), but 117 will also be interesting for the Yubel/Amon interaction, and of course the surprise fight sequence! Stay tuned!
Recap Cameos Comparison #1
So, other people have done this but they often don't include the manga so I wanted to do my own. In episode 18 of the new Urusei Yatsura anime, they include a bunch of cameos of various pretty girls whose chapters they unfortunately aren't going to adapt. They also used this recap in episode 24. Anyway, I've compiled images of these girls as they appear in the new anime, a glamor shot of them from the manga, how they appeared in the old anime and a page from the manga to illustrate personality somewhat. I'll also list the manga chapter they debuted in as well as their episode in the original anime for those curious (this information was taken from the wonderfully meticulous site of furinkan.com). Please do click on the pictures, as the little previews don't necessarily do them justice. The three mystery silhouettes at the end I'll cover in a separate post as they will almost certainly appear in the new anime.
Before I started putting this post together, I checked what the maximum image count on a post was and when it said 30, I said, oh, that's plenty because I didn't actually count how many I was gonna include in this. So, here's HALF of them, check the other post for the other half.
Flower Shop Girl Manga Debut:Chapter 66, Vol. 7 Anime Debut: Episode 29
Cannibal Girl Manga Debut: Chapter 139, Vol. 14 Anime Debut: Episode 69
Wendy Darling Manga Debut: Chapter 79, Vol. 8 Anime Debut: Episode 32
Izumi Manga Debut: Chapter 116, Vol. 12 Anime Debut: Episode 156
Always do find it interesting when shot compositions are touched up or changed in GX between an episode's preview in the previous episode and the episode proper (here, comparing the 117 shots in 116's preview for it with the 117 proper shots); with Venom Snake, I wonder if the assumption while the shot was made was that it was attacking and not using its effect like it actually does in-episode
House of the Dragon Episode Prediction (Spoilers)
Episode 1 was 104 and half of 105 AC. Episode 2 was 105 AC and half of 106 AC.
In the latter half of 106 AC Alicent marries Viserys, and Daemon and Corlys invade the Stepstones. They also appear to be taking care of the event of 107 AC - Aegon’s birth - according to previews, as well as the clear nod to him considering how the episode is named “The Second of His Name”. (Technically third, but since Aegon the Uncrowned was never actually crowned, I suppose it checks out.)
The timeline however also gets muddy, because previews show discussions of marriage occurring regarding Rhaenyra. She doesn’t wed Laenor Velaryon until 113 AC, which is 6 years later. Peculiar decision, maybe her sons will be aged up?
Episode 4 is called “King of the Narrow Sea”. Daemon Targaryen styles himself as the King of the Stepstones and the Narrow Sea in 109 AC. So I expect it will deal with that year and the aforementioned - in 108 AC Daemon kills the Crabfeeder, then declares himself king. Helaena Targaryen is born. Otto Hightower is sent away from court.
When is the time jump and when does it occur?
We know a time jump will occur either in episode 5 or the episode after. Episode 5 is called “We Light the Way”, the words of House Hightower.
Episode 6 is called “The Princess and the Queen”. This is also the name of a novella, but I wouldn’t put too much thought into it. Again, they named Episode 2 “The Rogue Prince” despite the fact that it actually deals with the events leading up to that novella. So I expect this episode to be events leading up to that instead.
We know the Green Council is held in 129 AC, when Viserys dies, and that happens to be the name of Episode 9 too, so I doubt Viserys will die in any episode prior to that. Therefore, Episode 5-9 have to squish all of this:
110 AC - Aemond’s birth. 111 AC - The tourney where Alicent wears green and Rhaenyra wears black. Viserys and Daemon briefly reconcile, then Daemon is banished again. 112 AC - Criston Cole becomes lord commander of the Kingsguard. 113 AC - Rhaenyra marries Laenor Velaryon. Criston Cole kills Joffrey Lonmouth. 114 AC - Jacaerys is born. 115 AC - Lucerys is born. Rhea Royce dies. Laena and Daemon marry. 116 AC - Baela and Rhaena are born. 117 AC - Joffrey is born. 120 AC - The Red Spring - Laena dies in childbirth, Laenor is killed by Qarl Correy, Harwin and Lyonel Strong die in the fire at Harrenhal, Aemond loses an eye. Oh yeah, and Rhaenyra and Daemon marry and have a son, Aegon. Uh, I assume this one will be an episode on its own, because holy fuck. 122 AC - Viserys is born. 123 AC - Jahaerys and Jaehaera are born. 126 AC - Corlys briefly falls ill. Vaemond is executed for calling Rhaenyra’s sons bastards. 129 AC - King Viserys dies, the Green Council is held.
This is a lot to squeeze into 5 episodes. My guess is this:
Episode 5: We Light the Way 110 AC - Aemond’s birth. 111 AC - The tourney where Alicent wears green and Rhaenyra wears black. Viserys and Daemon briefly reconcile, then Daemon is banished again. 112 AC - Criston Cole becomes lord commander of the Kingsguard. 113 AC - Rhaenyra marries Laenor Velaryon. Criston Cole kills Joffrey Lonmouth. I believe they just might move the Laena and Daemon marriage to be earlier here and have Rhea Royce die earlier, so Daemon’s marriage is a direct reaction to the king banishing him, and sowing seeds for Corlys to secretly plot with Daemon.
Episode 6: The Princess and the Queen I think it’s possible that they move the Green + Black tourney to this episode and have it take place forward in time. But either way, I think this is a massive time jump where Rhaenyra gives birth to Jacaerys, Lucerys, and Joffrey, and Laena gives birth to Baela and Rhaena,
Episode 7: Driftmark 120 AC - The Red Spring - Laena dies in childbirth, Laenor is killed by Qarl Correy, Harwin and Lyonel Strong die in the fire at Harrenhal, Aemond loses an eye. I could be misremembering but I think Laena’s funeral was held at Driftmark. If it isn’t, it still makes sense for it to be. We still don’t know who is behind the fire at Harrenhal, but if it’s Corlys, this makes additional sense.
Episode 8: The Lord of the Tides 126 AC - Corlys briefly falls ill. Vaemond is executed for calling Rhaenyra’s sons bastards. Viserys is born and Jaehaerys and Jaehaera are born.
Episode 9: The Green Council This episode should be where Viserys dies and the Greens make their moves. Rhaenyra loses baby Visenya upon hearing the news at the end of the episode.
Episode 10: The Black Queen Aftermath. Rhaenyra is crowned queen.
