IMPORTANT TERMS (IN CASE YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE READING ALL DAT STORY CONTENT)

- Gaea: refers to the planet. Is pronounced jee-ah, as in Pangaea.

- 1st Gaea: refers to the time period that we currently live in (present day Earth), which runs from the big bang event until the eventual destruction of the human race in the year 2048. No Pokemon existed at this time

- 2nd Gaea: refers to the time period in which humans and Pokemon lived. The events of the mainline Pokemon video games and Pokemon anime occur during this time period.

- 3rd Gaea: refers to the time period in which only Pokemon roam the planet. The events of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon video games occur during this time period, and this Gaea ends during the final portion of the story I've written here.

- 4th Gaea: refers to the current time period of this story, after the world is saved and the story ends.

- Zappa: the name that the Pokemon Arceus chose for themselves. Zappa and Arceus are used interchangeably, and refer to the same entity.

- Defender Team: a rescue team that is recognized as the face of the continent. These usually refer to the team that the player joins at the beginning of each Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game.

- Dahlia: one of the four main provinces of Flora, encompassing the western coast. Consists mainly of luxury houses, condos, and beaches.

- Snapdragon: one of the four main provinces of Flora, and includes the entire northern section of the continent. Mostly mountains, and always blanketed in snow.

- Honeysuckle: one of the four main provinces of Flora, encompassing the eastern coast. Is mostly forests, and has the most weather changes due to the climates from the north and south.

- Marigold: one of the four main provinces of Flora, and takes up the entire southern coast. A dry and barren desert, consisting of only citizens who were born in the province.

- Alstroemeria: the capital city of Flora, located directly in the center of the continent. Alstroemeria may also be referred to as the 5th province of Flora.

I just realized that I never actually explained how the team are singularities, so... Guess it's an impromptu:

Worldcanon: Singularity and the rules

When Solaris recreated the world, they linked their own soul with those of the rest of the team. Solaris first coined this term, but they are referred to as singularities - a fixed point in time. But what does this mean, exactly?

Being a fixed point in time, that means that they don't age, and their bodies don't deteriorate due to age. They're essentially stuck at the age they were at when Solaris linked their souls.

This also means that the team has an advanced form of healing. When a member gets seriously injured, their body will revert back to the fixed point. This means that nearly any wound will be healed.

But this isn't a perfect system. Should a member have something removed, for example a hand, or they get something on the inside removed, that will not heal back. Solaris also, due to the limitations of their power, gave everyone a free extra life. They can "die" once and be revived, and should they die again, then they are gone for good.

Solaris even applied these rules to them as well, but with a failsafe. Should Solaris die, their power is transferred to the eldest member. Though, Solaris doesn't believe this will happen.

So for posterity, here are the rules regarding all of this:

1. A singularity cannot age, cannot grow older, and can heal wounds inflicted on them. Lost limbs or internal organs are not recovered.

1a. Lost limbs and internal organs can be reattached or saved by a doctor, and such injuries healed this way will leave scars.

1b. Healing does not start automatically. Healing begins approximately 60 minutes after an injury occurs.

1c. Each injury heals independent of the others, and not at the same time as others.

2. A singularity has a free "revive". Should one be pronounced dead, their soul is resurrected and their body restored to its previous state.

2a. Should a singularity die again after being revived once before, they are not revived again.

2b. A singularity cannot receive more revives, but a member can give a revive to save the life of another.

3. If Solaris should die, their power and status is transferred to the next oldest member. This transfer of power occurs infinitely until there is no member left to receive the power.

"I would say yes, but... I didn't do much in the fight against LaPlante. Not all of us were teleported out by Zappa during the whole ordeal." Noel's grip tightened on her sword's sheath. The sheath that, while made by Bellum, had what appeared to be a vine wrapped around it. The vine was from the previous world's Tree of Life, and contained her late father's soul within it.

"I'm just... Glad things are somewhat peaceful now, thanks to Solaris. And glad that I still have this sword. It... Means I get more time to talk with dad..."

Noel quietly sat under a tree, holding her katana in her paws. She didn't have her blindfold on due to her red Zoroark mane, and since her eyes were scarred shut it was hard to tell from a distance what she was doing exactly.

Noel's breathing was controlled, and calm, but her grip tightened on her katana, sensing that someone or something was watching her.

Noel barely moved, nor did she break whatever she was concentrating on. The orb on her ponytail began to glow, and her hair raised slightly as she began to speak telepathically to this human.

"Bold to assume a stranger with a sword is trustworthy..." She tightened her grip on her sword. "You're in Flora, currently, right near the capital of Alstroemeria. How did you get here? Solaris said that they excluded humans when they remade the universe, so you shouldn't be standing in front of me right now..."

Noel quietly sat under a tree, holding her katana in her paws. She didn't have her blindfold on due to her red Zoroark mane, and since her eyes were scarred shut it was hard to tell from a distance what she was doing exactly.

Noel's grip on her sword loosened upon sensing who it was. She didn't speak or move, but the orb on her ponytail glowed slightly, and her hair raised slightly as she spoke telepathically to Bellum.

"Hey, Uncle Bellum. You caught me meditating. You look... Different. Not just appearance wise, but your aura as well. You've definitely changed some..."

Solaris crossed their arms, and smirked. "Am I going to spill that information? No, of course I'm not. Zappa withheld the information for millions, if not billions of years. What makes you think I'm going to say?"

Just thought about something fun I could write. A what-if story of sorts, where the main cast from the story fights their greatest enemy, but with the abilities they have now.

Example being Solaris, as they are now, fighting against Sirius. Or Noel facing off against Pavarotti. Or Remi and Morello fighting against Knopps.

It's a fun idea I had. Might write it out :3

Solaris blinked a few times, eventually mumbling, "DiGiorno's...? I... Don't know who or what that is. Is that a human thing...?"

Solaris walked into what looked like a radio room, taking a seat at a microphone. They scooted their seat in, and shrugged. "I was told to answer questions... For all of the souls that keep an eye on our world, and read about our adventures. So... If you have any you wish to ask, feel free to ask."
