“God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine” —Ephesians 3:20 (NCV)
“Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers.” —Ephesians 6:18 (NLT)
“Why Keep Praying When There Is No Answer?” By Rick Warren:
“Why should you remain persistent in your prayers when you dont get an answer? Here are four reasons.
1. Persistent prayer focuses your attention. When you pray a prayer request over and over, it’s not to remind God. He doesn’t need to be reminded! It’s to remind yourself that God is the source of your answer and all your needs. If every prayer you ever prayed was instantly answered, two things would happen. First, prayer would actually begin to hurt you because sometimes we pray for things that are not God’s will, or we make mistakes because we see with a limited perspective. Second, you’d never really develop a deep relationship with God, because he would become just a vending machine. If every time you prayed you instantly got results, all you’d think about is the blessing. God wants you to think about the Blesser.
2. Persistent prayer clarifies your request. A delayed answer gives you time to clarify exactly what you want and to refine your prayers. When you pray persistently to your heavenly Father and you say something over and over again, it separates deep longings from mere whims. It says, “God, I really care about this.” It’s not that God doesn’t want to answer your prayers. He does. It’s just that he wants you to be certain what you really want.
3. Persistent prayer tests your faith. James 1:3-4 says, “When your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing” (NLT). The only way you can grow to spiritual maturity is to have your faith tested. One of the ways God tests your faith is by delaying some answers to your prayers.
4. Persistent prayer prepares your heart for the answer. When you make a request of God, God almost always wants to answer in a greater way than you’ve prayed. Sometimes God denies your prayer request because you’re thinking and asking too small. He wants to give you something bigger and better. But first, he has to prepare you for it. So God uses delays in answering prayer to help you grow, to help you get ready, and to help prepare you for a bigger and better answer.
Remember, “God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20 NCV).”

Our Adoption Doesn't Diminish the Riches of Our Inheritance
There is so much silly fun in the movie “Elf” that we often overlook it is the story of adoption. Buddy is raised at the North Pole by elves until he realizes he is human and goes down to New York to find his real Dad. Buddy struggled in the world of elves because he is human, and then in New York, discovers that the world of humans is not as uplifting as he might have hoped. I’m pretty sure the…

By Thus Are Elijahs Trained
God can’t bring you into what you won’t believe Him for. –Steven Furtick How is a man like Elijah trained? And, is he to be an example for all of us to follow? Afterall, Elijah lived an amazing life. I mean, talk about living out the words of Ephesians 3:20! It seems Paul may have pondered the life of Elijah when he was writing to the early church; exhorting them to live out an heroic faith…

it’s not about self improvement but God’s improvement. we wanna improve so much because we only know so much. we are limited while God is infinite.
my prayer: that i would go with how God wants to change me. to let Him, the creator of the universe lead me this year. to lean on His understanding, not my own.

“Remember what you were taught from your childhood from the Holy Scrolls which can impart to you wisdom to experience everlasting life through the faith of Jesus, the Anointed One! God has transmitted his very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness.” —2 Timothy 3:15‭-‬16 (TPT)
“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” —Ephesians 6:13‭-‬17 (NIV)
“Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.” —Ephesians 3:20 (TPT)
“The Bible is Alive” Devotional By YouVersion - Day 3: “The Bible Transforms Nations”:
“It’s the early 1800s. A 12-year-old Nigerian boy and his family are taken from their home and forced onto a Portuguese slave ship bound for America. But before the boat has a chance to leave the African coast, it’s raided by an anti-slavery patrol and the traffickers are arrested. The boy and his family are then liberated and sent to Sierra Leone. It’s here that he discovers the power of the Bible.
After becoming a Christian, Samuel Ajayi Crowther began learning multiple languages and going on missionary expeditions into the countries near Sierra Leone. But this entire time, he was studying the Bible in English because it didn’t exist in Yoruba—his Nigerian language.
This meant that the people in Nigeria who didn’t speak English couldn’t read God’s Word for themselves. So Ajayi helped create a written grammar system for Yoruba and then translated the Bible into that language.
Once he finished the Yoruba Bible, he continued to translate Scripture into other Nigerian languages so that more people could discover the life-change that he had experienced.
Crowther was later elected “Bishop of the Niger” by the Anglican church, becoming the first Black Anglican bishop. And today, the Anglican Church of Nigeria is the second largest Anglican province with over 18 million baptized members.
The same God who worked through Crowther also wants to work through you to impact the world through His Word. There are people waiting to be transformed by the Bible that only you are perfectly positioned to reach.
So today, ask God to reveal the role you can play in the story He’s telling, and watch as He does more through your life than all you can ask, think, or imagine.”

Faith is living above the ‘see level’. It is the heart’s full assurance that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20-21). Now to Him who is able to keep us from stumbling, and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen (Jude 1:24-25).

"YES, GOD CAN STILL USE YOU!"
Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above – spiritually transformed, renewed, READY TO BE USED] for good words, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].” (AMP) When David first arrived at…
