Things on my wish list for OFMD s2 that came true

I tried not to make predictions for s2 as such. I wanted to go into the new season with as few expectations as possible -- but there were absolutely some things I wanted to happen. I'm really excited about the things that did.

La Vie En Rose - Sometime over the past year, I added Grace Jones' version of the song to my general OFMD playlist, which I posted about to Twitter, re: a music meme that was going around at the time. Not sure when I originally added the song, but it was sometime before 10th Sept. 2023. I really, really hoped a song I picked for my OFMD playlist (currently at 933 tracks) would appear at some point in the series, and I GASPED when I first heard it in ep. 6, and the fact that it's associated with Ed & Stede's first time fucking is absolutely priceless to me.

2. A scene with Ed being a total badass - I posted about this to Tumblr back in late August:

I was absolutely shaking, breathless as I watched this scene in ep 8 for the first time, Ed emerging from the waters like a god, calling out for Stede, cutting down their enemies to reunite with his true love.
