well, things have spiraled since jerry had that conversation with elvis an hour ago. it's no secret that he has a soft spot for you. he'll let you run around the house all you want. a few extra pieces of candy wouldn't hurt you, right?

you always got excited when jerry was coming to watch you when you were little. elvis didnt understand why. he figured you'd be torn up and throwing a big crying fit but instead, you always clap happily and smile widely whenever he mentions jerry coming over. it was always good to have rules when you were little but sometimes you just wanted to be free and do what you wanted and you could safely do that around jerry.

here you were, on your fifth piece of candy as you ran around graceland back and forth for no reason. toys were splattered everywhere, broken crayons were in places you didn't think they would end up and you threw every little candy wrapper you had right behind you. but you were having fun, enjoying the freedom that jerry have to you.

jerry noticed you running his way and crouched down, holding his arms out to catch you. "c'mere! one more time!"

you giggled happily as you ran into his arms. jerry picked you up and spun you around until you begged him to stop, laughing as you playfully hit him in the shoulder several times.

"what in the living hell is goin' on in here?!"

jerry put you down quickly, getting in front of you so you could hide behind him. "n-now....it's not what it looks like."

elvis shut the door behind him, looking at the mess in the foyer and everywhere else his eyes landed on. and why was there a plushie just sitting in the middle of the steps? "jerry, i said i was leavin' for a few hours and you go and make my baby trash the place....." he rested his hands on his hips, raising an eyebrow at you peaking behind jerry's shoulder. he pointed at you, "you ain't off the hook, little one. you know we have rules around here, c'mon right out."

you slowly moved away from jerry, hands behind your back as you looked down. "'m sorry, daddy."

"i'm sorry too." jerry nodded. "we were just havin' a little fun. that's all."

"and fun to you is giving 'em candy and lettin' 'em leave toys all over the place?"

"well...." jerry stood there awkwardly, scratching at his head. "a-at least nobody got hurt....?"

elcis scoffed. "yeah, for now." he looked over at you. "you're gonna help jer' clean this mess up while i think of how i'm gonna punish ya."

you nodded sadly as you began to pick up your mess.

"and jerry, you ain't off the hook either." he said, pointing a finger at him.

"you're not gonna take away my cartoon privileges are ya?" he joked, only to receive a dark glare from elvis in return.

omg great question!! i started it last month and i am on episode 523 rn. and i love it! i was dodging it so long because of the number of episodes but once you're in, you're in! i assume that you are in the arlong park arc? i too didn't like that arc much but it gets better in the drum kingdom arc, where chopper joins!

also, i too am a high schooler so i know how you feel 😭 school drains me as well but i have set a target to watch 10 episodes or more per day (20-30 episodes on weekends). i watch them on 2x so it takes me about 1 hour 40 minutes to finish 10 episodes- you can try watching it like that, if you are a fast reader :)

i have also set a goal to finish 100 episodes per week lmao. i hope this helps!

"Agh, this is seriously so annoying!" Hanni groaned while looking at her phone. Y/N's attention shifted from the girls across from them to Hanni.

Y/N tilted her head slightly. "Hm, what happened Hanni?" The girl put her phone back into her pocket before answering.

"My group mates for English are being so frustrating! They won't take suggestions from me and they're getting on my last nerve." Hanni watched from her peripheral vision as Duri and Myeong side-eyed her and whispered to the other.

"Ah, I see. Let's think about how to deal with that later, alright?" Y/N smiled at the girl and watched as she typed one more, presumably angry message before Hanni put her phone away.

Hanni rested her head in her hand before continuing to slowly eat the tteokbokki on her plate. "So, Duri and Myeong," She quickly glanced at the two girls "What did you want to talk about?"

"I don't know if you know this but," Duri started, placing her cup back onto the table and leaning in closer, lowering her tone of voice just a little bit. "Everyone in our class and probably the whole school, is wondering who your crush is.."

Hanni rolled her eyes at the girl. Everyone at school knew that Intak and Y/N had a thing for each other even if they've never explicitly stated it. It was obvious from the way they interacted and looked at each other. She couldn't help but wonder what their grand plan was this time around.

Y/N started to smile nervously at the mention of a crush. Sure she had one, but was she willing to tell them? Not at all.

"Um, I don't really have one at the moment." Myeong stared her down for a few seconds before smiling brightly. "Ah, that's great news us then, Duri!" They both shared a victory high-five.

The girl beside Y/N observed the Duri and Myeong intently. Just what did Intak have to do with this talk?

Duri tucked a tuft of hair behind her ears. "So you see, I kind of have this like, huge crush on Intak." She sighed before continuing. "I was wondering if you'd want to help me get with him? You can be my wing-woman!"

Hanni and Y/N looked at each other as if they were thinking the same thing. 'I can't believe she has the audacity to even ask that..'

Hanni scoffed before staring down at Duri and crossing her arms. "Y/N will not be doing that for you.

"Oh, yeah? Who are you to say that?" Duri challenged. "Why are you saying no for Y/N when you don't even know what she was gonna answer with?"

Hanni rolled her eyes at the girl and crossed her arms. "Because I like Intak. Y/N was playing wing-woman for me."

"Wait, seriously?" Myeong suddenly butted into the conversation. "Everyone thought that you guys had a thing for each other."

Y/N nervously smiled. "Um... I don't actually like Intak. I actually like..." She paused for a moment and blurted the first name she thought of. "Yang Jungwon!"
