just saw EO (IO, Poland, 2022) and came out of the movie theater traumatized. thanks V for suggesting I spend the last day of the year holed up in a cinema watching animals being abused. thank god my sis was with me, or i would have walked out like 15 minutes in.
i mean, i get what the movie wanted to be about, and the message was admirable, and i'm sure that's why it won big at cannes, but still... it was sold to me as a "movie about a donkey walking around doing things" and while technically true... i did not.... expect this. :((((((
Worst Movie 2022: The Banshees of Inisherin. Because of the donkey, what happens to the donkey, and Martin McDonagh’s loathsome opinion of human nature in general. EO seems a balm.
"Donkeys are prey animals who have learned to mask signs of pain to not alert potential predators of their vulnerability. To the untrained eye, donkeys may seem to plod along without much feeling, but people who care for them know better."
YALL SOMETHING IS GOING ON! The official Pokémon Twitter account has yet to make their own post about PMD Red Rescue Team being released for the switch online, WHICH IS COMING OUT THIS FRIDAY.
Back in 2017 when they announced the original Pokemon snap (another spin off) on the Nintendo eShop, both the Pokemon and Nintendo account announced it on Twitter at the same time. Nine days later, the announced the REMAKE of Pokemon snap 👀
ALSOOOOOOOOO this is just a speculation, but I want to throw this out there. Pokémon Presents will likely be next week. I don’t see any other reason why Pokemon would avoid making a post about THEIR OWN GAME other than they’re planning to announce something bigger. Like another PMD remake 👀
