Hiiii I hope you don’t mind me requesting again! I love the one you did for me! It made me incredibly happy.

May I request a Lorenzo St. John x female reader? This time I was thinking of a lot of fluff and hurt/comfort? If that’s okay of course. Again, human reader please. This time reader is very stubborn and always acts tough. She dislikes supernaturals a lot. She’s friends with Elena and her group.

One day reader gets kidnapped and threatened by an enemy vampire if the Salvatore’s. The brothers save her, but once she gets home she starts to panic and cry because she’s had enough and doesn’t know if she can take anymore of the supernatural drama. But Enzo stops by her house to ask for a favor and the reader acts like she’s fine but it’s obvious she’s been crying and he tries to comfort her, despite her not liking him much.

Description: The reader is kidnapped by an old enemy of the Salvatores and as tries to pretend that everything is okay but fails at doing so.

First Person's POV

Once I turned 18 I promised I would leave Mystic Falls for good. This town is a goddamn beacon for chaos and danger. I wouldn't even be surprised if a hole to the end of the world opened right in the centre of town. One thing I hated more than maths was the supernatural beings that thought the world revolved around them. Of course, I loved Caroline, Bonnie and Elena. I tolerated Stefan and Damon but the others... the others it depended on who they were and what they've done. I tried my best to stay away from the chaos that the group got themselves into, sometimes it was relatively easy and other times it was damn hard. 

Every day I make a bet with myself about if it's gonna be an easy day or a damn hard day. I made a bet that it'll be a damn hard day. I don't know what gave me that feeling, it was just that uneasy feeling when I woke up this morning and considering that the Salvatores had been kidnapped and beaten the last few days, I just assumed that the streak of unpleasantness would continue. 

Heading towards the town square, I stood, waiting for the girls to show up, putting myself on edge due to the sudden paranoia that someone would be out to get me. 

I don't know how it happened, or when it happened but I woke up, tied up and sitting on a mattress laid across the ground. I refused to cry, I would not let myself be seen as weak and give whatever asshole decided to use me as fish bait. 

"Y/n... Y/n... Y/n..." I stared angrily at the figure, recognising the person as a Traveller, I rolled my eyes and stared at the figure flabbergasted as he slapped me. 

"I need the Salvatores to come here, I see them with you, so here we are," I grunted through the rag, groaning as he pulled it from my mouth and went to speak but was literally hushed by the twit. He put his damn finger on my lips with a tut to silence me. 

"Listen here... I don't care about how you want to run your damn mouth, I don't have the time, all I care about is bringing the Salvatores here and following the plan." 

"And that would be?" 

"Noneya." 

"Oh, how mature," I muttered, hissing in pain as his fist collided with my face, I took another breath and smiled at the man showing that I didn't care and that it didn't faze me at all. I grunted as he shoved the rag back in and proceeded to pace the room. I couldn't help but flinch as the door slammed open and within the blink of an eye the Salvatores easily dealt with the guy and the adrenaline seemed to take away my thought processing and I ended up back home without really realising it. 

I took a shower, got into my pyjamas, plopped down on the couch and that's when it all came out. I could feel my hands begin to shake, a tightness in my chest formed that made it hard to breathe. The tears came cascading down, the whole room seemed to spin and I couldn't stop my sobs from escaping. I do not want to go through that again, I do not want to be kidnapped and hurt. I can't go through that, this is all too much, maybe I should just move away? Get away from the town of death and suffering. 

I couldn't tell you how long I had been crying for, I couldn't even tell you how the panic attack stopped or if it even stopped. I was sitting in a pool of tissues, I had already nearly gone through an entire box, I don't think I've cried this much before, I can't think of a time when the pain has been this bad. 

I jumped hearing a knock on my door, I quickly and roughly rubbed my eyes doing my best to make the tears go away and hope that whoever it was wouldn't need anything from me. I forced a smile to my lips as I opened the door, surprised to see the lovely Enzo there, he was a vampire I liked and I will admit there are times when I prefer him over the Salvatores but also just like most of the supernatural my tolerance normally ran low. 

"Enzo- hi."

"Hello, gorgeous... listen I need a favour-" The vampire cut himself off, he glanced around to the living area and then back at me. I did my best to keep smiling, not wanting to let my guard down. 

"Gorgeous, what's going on?" 

"I'm fine Enzo, listen I've got a busy day tomorrow and as much as I'm sure the favour cannot wait I cannot help you today." I tried closing the door on him, groaning as he easily stopped it and slipped into my home. I bit the inside of my cheek, finding it harder and harder to continue pretending that I was okay. 

"You've been crying..." 

"N-no I haven't. I said I am fine." I tried to make my words more pointed, hoping he'll truly believe that I was 'fine' but Enzo is smart and it was clear that my bullshit lies weren't enough to convince him. 

"Talk to me, please." I wrapped my arms around myself, shaking my head, the tears inevitably coming, I could feel my lips quivering and my body shake as the sobs escaped my lips. I could feel Enzo leading me to the couch, he brushed away the tissues and sat beside me. 

"Y/n... what's going on? What happened." 

"I- one of the travellers took me and used me as bait to draw in the Salvatores... I can't deal with the supernatural any longer... I don't want to go through that again. This- this anxiety, I can't... I won't go through that again. I'm so scared Enzo, I can't keep pretending that I'm fine because everyone looks to me because they think I'm tough but the truth is-" I let out a sob that would prevent me from going on any further without struggling to voice my concerns. I shook my head, angry with myself for blubbering in front of Enzo. 

I felt him wrap an arm around me, he lightly rubbed my shoulder, against all my wishes, I let myself curl against him. At that moment I didn't care about who was comforting me, all I cared about was seeking someone who would offer me the comfort I clearly needed. 

"I can make it easier for you- I can... if you're comfortable, I can compel you... I can make it go away." I considered, that maybe it would make it easier to just disappear... make it easier to get away from all of this. I was about to allow him to do that but then I thought of Bonnie and Caroline and Elena... I couldn't do that to them. 

"N-no, no. Thank you." 

"If you ever change your mind... I know we aren't close, I think you don't like me at all but I'll make it go away. If you ever want." I took a few deep breaths, nodding and appreciating that Enzo would do this for me even after knowing that I wasn't his biggest fan. 

"I don't not not like you but- it's not important right now." 

"You know, you know gorgeous... I still think you are pretty tough, you know it's okay to cry and it's okay be worired." It felt reassuring to know that, I never wanted to let anyone down and I wanted them to know that I am strong and I am tough. That these things won't bother me or effect me.

"Means a lot to me."

7 Days of Scarepairs: Denzo | Damon Salvatore x Enzo St. John (The Vampire Diaries) + "Trick or Treaters"

The door went for the millionth time. Damon didn't bother to stifle his groan of annoyance this time, but Enzo was already on his feet and greeting the stupid little brats as they screamed for a treat. He indulged them, chuckling as they shoved their greedy little fists into the bowl and shovelled more than the polite amount of candy into their buckets and bags.

They moved on, and Enzo closed the door just as Damon started to loudly say, "You know, it's called trick or treating. I suggest that next time, we give them a trick."

Enzo shook his head at him, giving him that familiar look as he reclaimed his seat beside him on the couch. "Oh? Let me guess: you want to show a little bit of fang, some black veins and red eyes?"

Damon spread his hands and raised his eyebrows.

"I'm not letting you scare some poor little kids on Halloween," Enzo said sternly, shoving the bowl back onto the coffee table, exchanging it for his glass.

"Why not?"

"Because they're innocent children," he countered like that was obvious before taking a drink of his completely victimless pint of blood. "But if it really means that much to you, then you can answer the door next time it goes and pretend you're wearing makeup."

The door went again, right on time. Damon grinned wickedly as Enzo lowered his glass, clearly already regretting his words. He looked at him warningly but he had already swiped the bowl from the table and crossed the room in a matter of a second.

He took a moment, his hand poised. Then he flung the door open and left his full vampire face on display. Instead of the expected screams, the two little girls shouted with pure joy. His face dropped as Lizzie and Josie clapped in excitement.

"Really, Damon?" Caroline asked, an eyebrow raised disapprovingly.

Bonnie smiled. "Nice face. Not the most realistic vampire I've seen tonight, though, I've gotta say."

He smiled mockingly back at her. He tossed a miniture chocolate bar into each of the twin's baskets, then he stepped aside to let them in. Bonnie swiped the bowl from his hands on the way past, her face lighting up.

"See, this is why I said we shouldn't answer the door on Halloween," he said loudly and closed the door. "We've been invaded by witches."

"Uh, hello?" Caroline said pointedly.

"Fine, it's three against three," Damon said, walking past her and reclaiming his seat beside Enzo, who was busy complimenting the twins on their very realistic witch costumes. "I'm still not happy about it."

It was Bonnie's turn to roll her eyes at him as she planted herself on the other couch, setting the bowl of candy in her lap. "Come on, I thought you'd get a kick out of Halloween."

"I do, in fact," Damon said. "I love Halloween. I love scaring people to death and drinking from open veins without anyone batting an eye. What I don't enjoy is being stuck in the house all night on the one day of the year when I could be doing any number of things instead."

"Well, most of the trick of treaters are going home now," Bonnie said with a shrug. "So, if you wanted, you could come out with us. We're going to get these two home and in bed, then we were gonna go to the Grill."

Caroline flashed a genuinely excited grin as she said, "They have themed cocktails."

Damon glanced at Enzo, who shrugged as if to say, I don't see why not.

"But one rule," Caroline said, and she pointed right at Damon, "you are not allowed to feed on anyone. At least not anyone in the Grill. It's Matt's rule, and I promised him that none of his employees would be running around with bandages on their necks or wrists."

"I guess dressing up as a mummy was off limits, then," Enzo said in amusement, knocking back the rest of his glass.

"Funny," Caroline said dryly, her eyes narrowing.

Damon helds his hands up. "Fine, we promise. Anything is better than hearing one more knock on that door. I might actually kill someone."

Bonnie threw a bonbon at him in warning. He popped it into his mouth and winked, but when prompted by Caroline, both he and Enzo promised that they wouldn't harm anyone at the Grill.

"Although, technically," Damon said as they were about to leave, shrugging on his leather jacket, "it's not harming them if they're not compelled and they want it, right? Halloween brings out all kinds of freaks, you know. A lot of people love vampires."

Caroline scoffed in disgust and ushered Lizzie outside to join Bonnie, who already had Josie in her arms and was using magic to move the detachable spider on her wrist, making her laugh as it crawled up onto her shoulder.

He raised his eyebrows at Enzo, who returned the gesture, a particular hunger flickering in his eyes. Damon grinned and followed him out. Tonight could be fun after all.

Summary: Enzo's SO roped him into joining a Mystic Falls scooby gang game of truth or dare, and the rest of the Mystic Falls group is having trouble believing just how healthy their relationship is.

"Okay, truth or dare?"

I could tell Tyler was up to something across the circle of our friends, but I wasn't sure what. I hummed, thinking for a moment before deciding to play it on the safer side. I'd known Tyler for most of our lives, and if he had a grin like that on his face, I didn't want to know what dare idea might be causing it.

"Truth."

Damon booed from across the circle, but Tyler and I ignored him. To my surprise, Tyler's grin actually grew as he asked his question.

"What's the biggest secret you're keeping from Enzo?"

I frowned, but not because I was upset at the question. My boyfriend, Enzo St. John, was sitting next to me, his arm around my shoulders. I'd dragged him to this party with my old Mystic Falls friends, and he'd given me some raised eyebrows and eyerolls at the idea of playing truth or dare. But, for me, he'd been a good sport about it. Because he loved me, and he knew it would make me happy while costing him relatively little. We had each other's backs like that.

Which is why I had absolutely no idea what Tyler was trying to do. Amongst the secrets, lies, and manipulations that had become the norm for my group since vampires got involved, Enzo and I always told each other everything. We didn't keep secrets from each other, unless maybe one of us was planning a surprise party, and frankly, I thought it was the main reason we were in a happy, committed relationship without the drama the rest of our group kept going through.

"Uh..." I said, stalling for time while I racked my mind. It seemed like Tyler was fishing for a specific answer, but I had no idea what it could be. After another few moments of thinking, I shook my head and dropped my gaze back down to meet Tyler's. "Honestly, I can't think of anything. I know that's not really the point of this game, but... I don't have any secrets from Enzo."

Right on cue, our entire friend group groaned and rolled their eyes. Also on cue, Enzo leaned down to kiss my temple with a smile. I turned to smile back at him, leaning closer into him and resting one hand on his thigh.

"Okay, there's no way you guys are actually this perfect," Caroline said, sitting up a little further from her seat beside Tyler. "There has to be some moment or lie or something that you haven't told him. What about that time at the bar...?"

"The one where we saw Kol and Klaus? He knows all about that."

Caroline narrowed her eyes at me.

"He knows all about that?"

"Yeah, Caroline," I replied, leaning forward and raising an eyebrow so she would hopefully get my meaning. "All about it."

My look must've worked, because Caroline promptly went bright red as her mouth dropped open. She glared at me, her voice raising in pitch as she spoke again.

"Are you serious? You told him about that?"

"Yes! Sorry, but... yeah, I did!"

Caroline huffed and flopped back into her seat, and I didn't need to look at my boyfriend to know he was grinning. I'd gone on a weekend trip to New Orleans with Caroline a few months ago, and we'd run into Klaus and Kol at a bar. Kol had spent some time hitting on me, but I'd shut him down, and we eventually ended up spending the night bonding and commisserating over the people we'd come to the bar with, who'd snuck off into the back to make out in a closet or something. I'd told Enzo everything, from the flirting to the shift to friendliness to Caroline ducking out with Klaus.

"Well what about some of the plans we've put together?" Elena chimed in, shifting in her seat next to Damon. "Like some of the things we all came up with before you started dating, when he was still working with the enemy?"

I shook my head. "...No, I told him about all of that after we started dating. And he told me about all of his pre-dating plots, too."

"Well what about-"

"I actually have a confession," Enzo broke in. Everyone stopped dead to look at him, and I turned to face him with a raised eyebrow. He continued, keeping his attention on my friends. "I know the question wasn't directed at me, but-"

"This works too," said Tyler, waving him off with a grin. "Whatta ya got?"

Enzo cleared his throat, then turned to meet my eyes. His expression was serious, and I could tell the rest of the room thought this was going to be a massive bombshell, but I honestly couldn't get myself to buy it. I just waited, letting Enzo build up to whatever it was he wanted to say.

"...I ate the last piece of cake last week."

I gasped, hand to my heart and a scowl instantly on my face. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw all our friends rolling their eyes and groaning, but I ignored them.

"Enzo! How could you?" I delivered the line like he'd just told me he'd slept with my best friend. "This is a betrayal! A stone-cold, unforgivable betrayal!"

"Alright, we get it!" Tyler broke in, giving us the tone equivalent of an eyeroll. I ignored him.

"Unless..." I said. Ezno raised his eyebrow, and I took a deep, dramatic breath. I barely managed to hold back a grin and stay in character. "I have a confession too. I was lying before, there is something I'm keeping from you."

"Boo!" called Caroline, as Damon hurled a pillow at the two of us. I ducked behind Enzo, letting it hit him, and the two of us quickly returned to dramatic form as it bounced off.

"I... told you the coffee I brought you last night was regular, but it was decaf. I know you're a vampire, but holy shit babe, it was two in the morning and you were drinking it for the taste, not to stay awake. You were trying to drink black coffee and go to bed. I couldn't just stand by."

"...I noticed. But it was adorable and thoughtful of you, so I didn't mention it."

I gasped again. "You bastard!"

That was the absolute limit of what Enzo and I could get through without dissolving into a fit of laughter. He moved his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him, and I laid my head on his chest as I laughed my ass off. Half of our friends were glaring at us while the other half smiled fondly, but Enzo and I couldn't have cared less.

Leave the shitty drama and backstabbing to the rest of the supernatural world. Enzo and I were rock solid, and neither of us was ever going to let anything change that.

Elena finished applying her lipstick. She ruffled her hair a bit and pulled her bangs with the tip of her fingers.

"Are you ready?" Bonnie whizzed in the hall, buttoning her coat up.

"Yep. All done" the doppelgänger said giving herself another look in the mirror.

"Caroline sent a tenth message" Bonnie said as she checked her phone.

"We're very late, I know, but I had to do those last changes in my book.

"It's only a pre-Christmas Eve party in the Grill. No big." the witch said as she sent the blonde vampire the message that they were on their way.

Meanwhile, in the Grill, the party was in full swing already.

The karaoke machine was plugged in and people were taking turns playing all different Christmas songs.

"What took you so long?" Caroline said as she got to Bonnie and Elena at the bar.

"I needed to make sure the magical boundary around the town was secured." Bonnie said and wave at Damon, who swooped in to whisk her away.

"He is here" Caroline whispered into Elena, whose eyes had already descended on Mason Lockwood.

"I don't really care." Elena mumbled and turned to Matt, who brought over a trey of rum shots. "Just one."

"Oh, come on - it's Christmas Eve. We party. I'll make sure you don't do anything stupid." Caroline said.

"Like last year - you mean." Elena remarked.

"Exactly." Caroline said and pulled her friend suddenly by the hand to follow her to the small makeshift podium.

"I can't sing." Elena protested.

"You'll be fine." Caroline said, who mimiced to her friend to do the song with her.

"I can't - sorry." Elena squirmed apologetically.

"Right." Caroline got on stage."This song - it's kinda about those dirty liars and cheats if this world- and just so you know - you can find that someone special"

Last Christmas

Elena inhaled sharply in a very silent manner as the lyrics hit home. She glanced at Mason, whose eyes connected with her. He knew very well that the heartbreak he had caused her last Christmas.

"Hey," Stefan elbowed the doppelgänger gently as he aproached her, "I heard it on the grapevine you went to New Orleans to help Elijah"

"Yeah - no big. He needed a bit of my blood."

"Even as a vampire your blood is still a weapon." Stefan remarked.

"Let's talk about something more exciting? When are you going to propose to Valerie?"

"Tomorrow." Stefan said. "I've got all organized."

"I hope it's totally romantic"

"It is. I just hope she says yes."

"She will. And I'm so happy for you." Elena chimed warmly.

"I really hope you find love, too." Stefan ehxaled a little, evidently worried about the doppelgänger and all that had happened with Mason Lockwood.

"I think I have." Elena curled a little smile at her friend.

And she left the looking puzzled as she turned to the door.

And Caroline sang the last part differently, pointing her finger at Enzo St. John.

This year I'll give it to someone special

At that very moment, Elena moved swiftly through the swaying crowd and passing by Mason, she opened her arms, wrapping them around Elijah Mikaelson.

"I missed you" she whispered dearly.

"Missed you, too" Elijah said. And though he was not someone to show public display of affection, this time he pulled her to him into a warm loving kiss.

"OMG!" Caroline couldn't hold her surprise seeing the Original and Elena dreamily lost in one another.

"Merry Christmas, everyone" the blonde vampire belted out before she passed the microphone to Vicky.

"Merry Christmas" Elijah muttered, still holding Elena in his arms.

"Merry Christmas," she smiled, "come on - let's get out of here"

Taking the Original by the hand, they slipped out of the Grill.

As she got in his Porsche, she texted Bonnie and Caroline that she'd see them in a few days. "Elijah and I need some time alone. Merry Christmas. xoxo ❤️"

what are your character’s goals? do they have any present allegiances? baseline goal is always keep out from under the knife and stay off the table. that isn't always so easy though, so he fantasizes ways that would release all the tension that's built up. he trusts no one and will likely never, but he has a parasitic allegiance to wes maxfield; wearing many hats like errand boy, attack dog, petri dish, among others. enzo has been infected with a blood disease that needs treatment every week, or his veins clog and he cannot function. insurance policy! as long as he behaves and shows up for his treatments, he's allowed on his merry way. if there isn't a new virus to test, of course—but that can easily be remedied by bringing his doctor a new subject to play with instead.

what has your character been up to before/during the start of our group, at the beginning of tvd season 3? only recently has this latest insurance policy been implemented. stalking whitmore was boring but it was better than cold concrete & steel, he still enjoyed the handful of nights; few sprinkled over the last 6 months. they were purely to test the speed in which his polycythemia vera would progress, and how willing he would be to play. with the commotion in mystic falls, it is the perfect opportunity to do a longer field test, stretch his legs and wet his fangs. what he doesn't know is how intimately he's going to know the residents of the town, or how he'll manage his anger going forward.

what song(s) do you associate with your character? hide and seek by imogen heap

have you altered anything about your character’s canon? maggie doesn't exist as she was. i would love for another character (canon or oc) to have had a maggie-similar relationship with enzo. whether they were with augustine for benign research or what, they treated him with respect and then had to leave / chose to. open to all kinds of ideas! the main thing is i wanted to open up the timeframe in which this could have occured. enzo has been in captivity since 1943 and the whole damon thing happened '53-58. for reference. :)

do you have any other random headcanons worth mentioning? IT'S GAY, BABEY. enzo trauma bonded with damon and had it down down baD. he would have, and had, done anything for that man and when he needed him most, HE VANISHED. so all those really gay ass things he said in season 5? he was being fr fr they was pookies and damon up and ruined it.

is there anything you’re potentially interested in exploring romantically for your character / what do you, or could you, ship? i am here for anything, my bisexual disaster has shitty taste in men obviously and let's be real, he needs an outlet. soft? hard? evil or good, i don't matter, if anyone can get that close to him without him snapping his fangs at them, let's gooooo. i just wouldn't expect a lot of genuine emotional vulnerability, at least not EASY. he will pour his heart out to anyone willing to listen but it isn't necessarily an invite for you to scoop it up in your hands, you feel?

what sort of current or future connections/plots are you looking for? honestly, nothing specific. the main connections are obviously people will some sort of ties with augustine: elena gilbert, for example. daddy absolutely had to have done a lil zappity zap to enzo so he's going to struggle with that. i have zero idea how he's going to fit in these growing empires, so seeing where that goes and who scoops up and helps (or hurts??) enzo is going to be good. i would love the maggie-esque character. maybe other old cellmates?? how did they get out, idk.

okay to complete this ask, i had to recall the main storylines from each season. this is what i produced. i will stick that below along with my decisions and thought processes.

also, i say it in the notes, but if this form of answering asks is too chaotic, i can switch back to the neat paragraph format i used in the avengers x kai post. i can cut out my gibberish and actually capitalize my sentences again 😅 just let me know which you prefer!

this storyline was so stupid; the seven year time jump was so confusing

we were also given NO CONTEXT and MINOR HISTORY into bonnie and enzo's THREE YEAR RELATIONSHIP

like i love both these characters, but them together came out of nowhere

also… damon caring so little for enzo and vice versa in seasons 7 & 8 after all the history they had together PISSED ME OFF SO BAD, like they don't care for each other at all?? not even romantically, just platonic care / trauma bond, NOTHING?

anyway that's aside the point

i loved early season 7

nora, val, and mary louise were funny; matt being angry all the time was funny; bonnie and damon coming back from europe and immediately killing a heretic was funny

bonnie had so much sass in this season

but then plec had to drive her underground again with the magic pills & nearly killing her & all that shit

and i liked rayna, to some extent; she was pretty cool

but there was no reason to drag bonnie in the mix and make her kill her friends just because she took some stupid pills, just because some relative of enzo wanted her to open a vault

that st. john stuff was insanity; i still don't understand it

i don't think the characters did either; probably not the actors, either

i also don't like that the rayna storyline killed off nora and ML, like, let the lesbian heretics live, fuck off julie plec

and bonnie and nora should've had a fling but that's a different story

so yeah… the 7 years into the future storyline + hunters is the storyline i would erase

also… i don't know why caroline kept showing up with blood on her face and ranting about stefan, like, i was genuinely confused

it kept reminding me of season 2 when damon dated that newscaster but then stefan killed her.. or whatever happened...

anyway, let's take a look at a close contender… season 8 - donovans

why… the fuck… did the donovans have to have a family reunion?

i do not care about his dad, i do not care about his mom, i do not care about vicki, i don't care about matt, and i certainly don't care to see them all in one place

matt only survived bc zach and julie plec were hooking up i stg

this man and his whole family are weak links

the sirens didn't bother me all that much, compared to the donovans fucking existence

i actually liked seline, ish

season 4... i hated shane bc he was creepy, but i found it funny that bonnie was so into him. damon was so perturbed at this

kol died so that jeremy could dramatically yell while ripping off his shirt

season 2... so i just remembered that s2 was more than just a precursor to klaus / middle part elijah; it also had wolves

i forgot about them initially, bc i don't care about most the wolves

tyler, i have so many mixed emotions; hayley, hated in tvd, liked in s1-2 of the orginals, didn't care for her later on; mason, nice to look at, don't care about him; jewel, or jade, idk, blonde girl that was looking for mason and found tyler, hated her; the random apperance of stephen amell… gtfo off my screen

wouldn't omit the wolves bc they had a point (ish) and grew the show, but i just don't care

not to say i don't like werewolves bc i fucking love the werewolves (cough twilight cough) but i don't care for the tvd wolves - the originals included, fuck off jackson

that was mean… he was a good man, good husband… i just don't care, i'm sorry

oh, i know i also made a post about wishing kai didn't kill jo so that alaric wouldn't have feelings for caroline, but i don't know if i fully stand by that post

as much as i wanted kai to have a redemption arc, him being a heretic was fun (while it lasted)

if they were dedicated towards keeping kai alive (therefore omiting his death storyline), he'd be a great time

i can see him and damon becoming buddies & being absolute menaces together

damon fights it sooo hard at first, but can't help wanting to dive into kai's bad influence

he makes vampirism feel like vampirism again… raising hell and not being afraid to be the bad guy

while simultaneously getting bad looks from all his friends and promising he's trying to be kai's good influence, but we all know he's not trying that hard

jo would survive and raise her twins with her creepy husband

she'd live in fear of kai coming after her kids any given day, but would try to ignore the thought

maybe they move away & free us from ric for good

but while this sounds really fun, i don't know where the story would go from there

kai would definitely get stuck under lily's control with the rest of the heretics & he'd have a big fucking fit about it

if enzo got with bonnie with kai still alive, that would be ugly

he would totally fuck a siren… and then help them kill the twins

but…

him killing jo & raising absolute hell was very fun & i loved it

his sudden return in s8, effectively pissing off damon & ric was hilarious

loved that he got back & immediately killed a grill employee

First Person's POV

Sitting in the small apartment that I owned, alone for another night as Team Save Elena worked their little butts off to accomplish rescuing her from her stupidity and be her babysitter yet again. I had grown astray from them, and when I finally realised that Elena was far more important than everyone else, I couldn't allow myself to be near that and by doing so I lost the majority of my friends. 

A rhythmic knock filled my ears; alerting me to the door, hesitantly I approached the door, glanced through the peephole and instantly became confused seeing Enzo standing on the other side. I could trust Enzo, he was a good man despite what Stefan echoed repeatedly on a loop saying that he wasn't. 

"Lorenzo." I smiled, opened the door and invited him in. 

"Hello, gorgeous." He whispered, with a smirk growing across his lips, stepping inside my apartment and waited for my attention as I closed the door and proceeded to lock it. 

"What can I do for you, Lorenzo?" I smiled, glancing down to the basket in his hands, raising an eyebrow as he handed it me and shrugged his jacket off, placing it neatly on the couch. 

"I figured since you have been shunned by everyone... what is it that you call it?" 

"Team save Elena." His chuckle was gorgeous to listen to, the vampire gestured to my couch and sat down beside me once I took my seat. 

"Right, Team save Elena. Anyway, seeing as those bastards left you alone because you realised what none of them could I thought you could have some company and I've noticed just how joyful you seem when we are together." 

"Don't get too cocky... but thank you. It really means a lot to me, thank you." He brought me to his side, his cologne tickling my nostrils as he rested a soft but chaste kiss on the side of my forehead. 

"Anything for you, gorgeous." 

The silence between the two of us lingered for a moment; it was comforting, heartfelt and peaceful. The kind of silence that an elderly couple would share after many happy years together, Enzo was good to me and having that goodness in my life from someone who actually cared- I cannot begin to describe just how perfect it was in my eyes. 

"So, I figured you and I could watch some films, eat some popcorn and whatever else I threw together in that package for you. What do you say?" The idea of having a movie night was delightful, being able to be a normal person with someone who I wish could be my boyfriend. 

"That's lovely, Lorenzo." 

"Please, Y/N, call me Enzo. I don't know how many times I have to ask this. I'll go get the popcorn cooking and set up the rest of the snacks. You pick something to watch." He shot a wink, leaving to head towards the small kitchen in the adjoining room. 

I chose a movie, grabbed the blanket from off my bed, and settled down on the couch, glancing into the basket that Enzo had brought with him. There was a little teddy bear, a vase with flowers and a small box with a little bow on top. 

"I see curiosity got the better of you." Enzo smiled, sitting down and placed the bowls of food on the coffee table. He rested the box in his lap, handing me each individual item while giving a little speech about each item. 

"A teddy bear because that one night when you got drunk at the bar, hardly able to stand up I took you here and got you settled in bed and saw all those teddy bears from your childhood and thought why not give you one that you could have to add to the others?" 

"I love it, thank you." The kind gesture made my heart sore with happiness, I rested a kiss on his cheek, thanking him for the gift. I rested the teddy bear in my lap, watching as he pulled out the flowers. 

"Roses and carnations as they are your favourite flowers." He carefully rested them to the side, his eyes never once leaving me as he grabbed out the final gift he wished to share with me. He handed me the little box with a bow, resting the basket to the side, watching me anticipation filling his gorgeous dark eyes. 

"You really did not have to get me all of this. Thank you, Enzo... thank you so much." Enzo's arms wrapped tightly around my waist as I threw my arms over his shoulders, his head buried in the crook of my neck a gentle smile forming on his lips as he pulled up and urged me to open the final gift. 

I did just as he asked, opening the present and smiling as an antique heart locket met my gaze, scared that it would crumble in my hands, I picked it up as if it were the most fragile item in the world and opened the silver piece of jewellery, seeing the photo of the two of us together. 

"It's beautiful, would you help me put it on, please?" 

"Anything for you gorgeous." Enzo's tender hands placed the locket on, his hand moving to rest on the side of my face for a moment as the British vampire seemed deep in thought as he stared into my eyes. 

"What movie did you choose to watch?" Enzo rested back against the couch, missing the eager look that crossed my eyes and yet he just continued to smile at me as if I were the greatest thing in the world. As if I were the only thing that mattered to him and I wish for that to be true. 

"Love Actually. It's a holiday film, seeing as we're entering the holiday season and seeing as you're here I figured why not share my favourite modern holiday film with someone that cares about me the same way that I care about them." 

"I cannot wait," Lorenzo whispered, resting another kiss on my forehead, smiling as he managed to conjure up a blush on my cheeks. We watched the film, cuddling up halfway through the film, Enzo seemed deeply hypnotised by the film, intrigued by the 'hidden meaning' or he was just enjoying the smile that was plastered on my face that always showed up when I watched this film. 

"So, what did you think?" I questioned, genuinely curious to hear what he had to say.

"It's got obscure humour, however, I do enjoy the film and seeing you smile the way you did as you watched this film. It just makes me feel good to be able to see that smile, you look so gorgeous when you smile. I want you to be happy." Enzo smiled as he said his words, I cannot explain what happened next, tears just started welling in my eyes and I cradled into him as he instantly pulled me into his arms. 

"I'm sorry, it's just... having you care for me, having someone that really does care for me..." 

"Shh, I know, gorgeous. I know. I'm here for you and I'm not gonna disappear. You don't have to worry." Enzo whispered, he began stroking my hair, the misunderstood vampire continued to do this until he soothed me into a calmer state of mind. 

"Would you like to stay for the night?" I whispered against his chest, finding his comfort too desirable to be suddenly taken away by his leave to do whatever it is he does when he is alone. 

"I'd love to." 

"I'll set up the blow-up mattress." 

"Don't worry about it, love... this couch is perfect for that fairytale character Sleeping Beauty. I'm quite happy to be sleeping here." 

"Are you sure?" 

"Of course. Don't worry about me, love. You get some rest, you look tired." 

"Goodnight Enzo, I'll see you tomorrow morning." I don't even know why I did this, it was almost like it was a habit, I bent down, rested a kiss on his lips and instantly pulled away once I realised what I did. 

"I am so, so sorry... oh gosh." Enzo pulled me down onto his lap, shutting me instantly as he placed a tender kiss upon my lips, bringing me closer to him, holding me and kissing me with so much desire yet he was tender and gentle. Enzo was the first to pull away, however, he seemed reluctant to do so. 

"I have been waiting too long to do this." 

"You have?" 

"Of course I have, you are utterly perfect and you desire so much more than you give yourself credit for. Promise me something, Y/N" I leant into his touch as he caressed my cheek, smiling at him as he lovingly grinned at me and began to say the words that he wanted me to promise.

"Promise me that you'll allow yourself to be happy before anyone else, no more putting yourself below others and remember that you come first." I rested a small kiss on his lips, nodding to his request and smiled as he brought me closer to curl into his arms. 

"I can promise you that" 

"Thank you." Enzo's voice echoed in my ears as I fell asleep.

Request: Crossover request. You're dating Cole Turner and Enzo isn't happy because he has feelings for you and he always ruins the dates you 2 have.

You have no idea how Enzo actually found you, he had broken up with you a couple of months previous to this and given his reputation you thought that he was done with you and that he would have moved on with someone else. You decided to move away from Mystic Falls in the hopes that you would never have to see him again and you might be able to move on better without a constant reminder that you weren't good enough for him.

You moved to San Francisco and met Cole, you both hit it off pretty well and given the fact that you were a witch it didn't take long to find out that he was a demon and that there were other witches living in San Francisco. You became good friends with the Halliwell sisters and found that they were very strong, even if they were the only three left in their coven at the moment. They warned you that Cole was a demon and you informed them of the place where you used to live and how close to danger you were every day. They listened intently and you even helped them add some information to the book of shadows on the things that you had come into contact with.

You hadn't expected Enzo to appear at the door, and neither had the sisters, Phoebe was the one that opened the door "can I help you?" She asked. "Is (Y/N) here?" He asked. "Not right now," Phoebe answered. "You're a really good liar, how about you invite me in." He tried compelling her but she stepped back in shock "you're one of the vampires that she told us about." "Phoebe who's at the-" Piper stopped talking when she saw the look on her sister's face. "Who are you?" "I'm looking for (Y/N)," Enzo answered. "Well, she's not here." Piper lied. "I'm going to cut to the chase and tell you that I could hear her talking before I knocked on the door," Enzo said, as you walked out of the kitchen leaning against the doorframe. "What do you want?" You asked. "Why'd you leave?" He asked. "Didn't feel like watching you find your next conquest." You answered with a shrug. "So you decided to move halfway across the country?" He asked. "I always wanted to see this place." You shrugged. "Now I can." "What if the others needed your help?" Enzo asked. "My number hasn't changed, I just blocked yours." You informed him with a shrug and that seemed to enrage him even more. "Enzo gets out of here, I don't want anything to do with you."

Over the next couple of weeks you weeks Enzo stayed in San Francisco and tried to mess up every date that you had with Cole and you apologised profusely every time, he laughed it off and told you that you owed him, you were just thankful that he was willing to work with it, but you knew that it wasn't fair which was why you when he appeared at yet another date you decided that you were just going to tell him straight that you wanted him to leave you the hell alone "Enzo what are you doing here?" You asked. "I'm just waiting for you to realise that you want to come home." He answered. "I don't want to go back to Mystic Falls, I'm happy here." You glared at him "I've got good friends and a boyfriend that I very much like so could you just do me a favour and get lost?" You asked. "You don't mean that." He glared at you and you looked at him and rolled your eyes. "You ended things first, you were the one who decided that you didn't want me, I'm moving on just let me do that okay?" You asked. "Fine but you'll be back before you know it, this goy's trouble," Enzo said as walked away. "You know that was pretty hot," Cole smirked as he wrapped an arm around your waist. "Hopefully we won't be seeing him again." You muttered. "I don't mind if I get to see that again." He said softly. "One more thing… Boyfriend?" "Oh…Um, you don't have to-" He cut you off by pressing a kiss to your lips. "Boyfriend is fine by me." He smiled before pressing his lips to yours again.
