Hi Emma!! How would you ask a Vocaloid producer or someone under the Ensoushitemita catagory if you can cover their song/use their instrumental? I'd love to start singing, but I'll feel a little guilty if I dont email the original artist and ask for permission first ^^;;;; I'm currently studying japanese but I just can't think of a proper way to ask.. thank you!

Hi anon! :)If a Vocaloid producer releases the instrumental for their song, they do that so other people can make covers of the song, so there’s no need to ask for permission first! :O As for ensoushitemita, sometimes I see it written in the description like “feel free to use this if you give credit” so you wouldn’t need to ask for permission in that case either. If you send me links I can check to see if anything like that is written! :D If not then I can help write a message to ask for permission, absolutely! :)
