The wedding was fast approaching, and Marcel and Aarin had just had a meeting at the cafe she worked with a photographer they were considering for the big day. Marcel didn't mind personally, but he wanted Aarin to be happy, so he went along with whatever she had to say. The guy had left a brochure behind that he was currently looking though when he hadn't realized how busy the place had started getting. @enriquemarrero

Isla smiled back at him, “It really was, but I had a lot of help. If not I don’t know when we would have been able to open.” She chuckled with a small shake of her head. There had for sure been times she had not been able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but she had managed with all the people around her. "Hm well how about we try change that?" She suggested, "Maybe we could go grab lunch some time? Or I could even speak to Eli and we could all go for dinner?" She suggested, looking over his shoulder as one of her employees were trying to wave her down. "I got to go help out with something, but why don't you text me? Or me you? I still got the same number, if you still have it, if not I am also on Facebook and Instagram!" She told him, before excusing herself to get back to go help out.
THE END
Ricky couldn't help but chuckle, it was cliché, a teacher procrastinating the grading of their student's work. He hated it in school but he was also guilty of doing it himself now that he was a teacher. "Any excuse to see a friend," he shrugged, "but in all honesty, he was thankful for his friends. Whether those friends were old or new." looking around at the crowd that gathered, he saw some familiar faces, along with unfamiliar ones. Turning his attention back to Isla, "Exactly. I mean I definitely can't complain about making money." He laughed a bit and took a sip from his own glass. "I can only imagine, must have been a lot of stress before today," his face softened before continuing, "me? Nothing, honestly my life is pretty boring to be honest." He chuckled and it were true, nothing had really happened, save for running into his ex at the grocery store not long ago. @islaricci

closed event starter for @enriquemarrero activity: hayride
While spring was Alina's favorite season, she did have a love for fall and all fall related things. Carving pumpkins, apple cider, and hayrides were always things she found herself doing during this time of year. And now that she had someone to do it with her, she was excited to have Ricky by her side. So, of course, the first thing she wanted to do was go on the hayride and she dragged him to get in line. "Aren't you excited? I'm excited. First hayride of the season."

The aquarium had forced Tyler to take the day off. He had been working extra hours lately, but he had reached his limit, so he had to go back to his regular schedule. Today, he was in the living room playing "The Last of Us" for what seemed like the millionth time. He just wanted something familiar and that he was good at... well, normally.
He wasn't doing well and was annoying himself as he kept dying over and over while playing the game. "Damn it, you stupid game," he muttered, nearly tossing his remote onto the end of his bed. Batman, his pet, looked at him a bit confused and jumped off the bed. "You leaving me too?" Tyler shook his head and looked at his game, resetting the level again. @enriquemarrero

"Ricky, my man," he grinned, stepping into the line next to the other. "I'm so not ready for summer to be over," it was nearing the end and while he was looking forward to the routine again, he always missed summer. "I hear you've got yourself a new girlfriend? Or the rumor mill around town broken again?" Hudson raised a brow as he loosely crossed his arms over his chest. The two hadn't caught up in some time, there were few things that didn't make it back to someone else eventually. Hudson especially knew how that worked working in the high school.

Rhys chuckled when his friend brought up middle school. He couldn't ever remember having been one of the trouble makers. He had always been quiet and more reserved, at least back then. It kind of helped when they reached high school, but even then he wasn't in with the popular crowd to say the least. "I think some of us might have been." He seemed to remember with a nod. "Time flies when you are having fun, isn't that what they say?" He quipped with a laugh, finishing off his now luke warm coffee. "Yeah I think I did." He stated, "I think I still have it somewhere, though obviously my equipment has improved since then." He added with a laugh. "Oh yeah I was. Newspaper and yearbook." @enriquemarrero
Even though he hadn't seen Rhys in a while, Ricky was happy he ran into him; even if it was at the mechanic. He hadn't realized how much he missed his friend, but he was glad to see and hear he was doing well. That was all Ricky wanted with his friends, to see them doing well. "Yeah, those middle schoolers are rough man, were we that bad back in the day?" He asked, playfully wincing and rubbing the back of his neck. "The time off goes by way faster than possible. I swear time speeds up or something. Like it needs to be studied or something," he teased, though he enjoyed the time off, he got bored of it easily. "That's awesome, and I feel like you did always have a camera with you back in school. Weren't you on the school newspaper back in high school?" @rhysmorgann

"You really do get yourselves in unique situations, don't you?" She chuckled, watching Ricky as she had a glass of iced tea clutched in her hand. She liked their little get togethers, their little chats. Especially now in the summer break and her due date getting closer and closer. And yet, October still felt so far away. "So what did you do after she threw her food at you?" @enriquemarrero

"Sorry I'm late." Marley said as she walked over to where Ricky sat at the bar and she joined him before ordering her usual glass of wine. "I was walking over when I saw my dad walking down the street and I had to go into the record store to hide from him and then that girl that works there got all snappy and I had to buy something." She said and sighed as she shook her head. "But I'm here and all yours for the evening."

Charlie did love Athletic Edge, it was a great place he felt really at home at. The farm was amazing and really was his home. But Athletic Edge was a place he felt a connection with in many ways. He did used to play baseball but he did know or learn about most every sport there is.
Today he was there as Chantel was at home with Hudson and caring for the farm too. He did have staff both places, but he did his best to show his face in both places most days. Even know the shop was harder to be at with newborn Hudson at home.
But here he was today unpacking some boxes to fill some of the shelves. Hearing the door he looked over and saw Ricky with a smile. "Hey man" he sat down a box he was holding. "How are you doing?" he asked. @enriquemarrero

"God, this is so good," Genoveva took a long sip of the boba that she ordered on behalf of Enrique's recommendation. "I won't say that I should trust your judgement more often, but," she teased him, giving him a slight nudge with her elbow. "How did Tyler take the news?" She questioned in regards to Ricky and his girlfriend wanting to move in together. "You guys are still friends, right?"

The cards were on the table - quite literally so. Armed with drinks ( this time on him ), he looked at his best friend. Then at the hand he could play, his brows furrowed in deep contemplation. His family had always reminded him of the sheer fact that his poker face was subpar and yet, Cisco yet had to cease trying. A sigh, bordering on a meager snarl, was enough to give it away. "For fuck's sake." He muttered, dropping his cards on the table in disgruntled defeat. "Why does this keep happening to me?" He knew he'd easily beat Ricky at chess. "Why is chess not an acceptable game to play at a bar?" A beat. "Next time we're playing chess."

Days since the rehearsal dinner passed and all Lexi wanted to do now after she was wallowing for a few days was try to get back to some routine. She'd go back to work the next week and she didn't want to be losing it there, but as she sipped on her coffee at the coffee shop, it was clear she wasn't as near where she had hoped as the tears started coming. She was wiping her eyes when she saw a familiar face and she threw on a smile. "Ricky, hey. How are you?"

His stamina wasn't what it used to be, but he was determined to finish the five miles. Originally he'd have gone for the ten mile run, yet now he was more than halfway over the five mile walk, keeping a close eye on his watch that kept up with his heart rate. He looked up when someone caught up and passed him by, recognising it to be Ricky. "Hola niño. Care to keep me company?" He asked him, taking a swig from his water bottle. "Makes me feel less slow." @enriquemarrero

Isla grinned, noticing the blush in his cheek, but deciding to be nice for once and not comment on it. "Ohh so fairly recent still then." She said with a small nod, "Well, work as well, really. I went to a few vendors when I was in Italy this summer with Elian, as have a few sustainable options over there, and you know it's good quality, because duh--" She flicked her hair jokingly, "It's Italy." She added with a laugh. "Isla Browne, you got to admit it's got a pretty nice ring to it." @enriquemarrero
He could feel the warmth of his cheeks increase as he knew he was blushing. "Yeah, since June actually," he nodded, leaving out the details of how they got together along with them confessing their love for one another after only a couple of months. "Other than that, just work. You? Mrs. Almost Eliane Brown." He said with a smile and a playful elbow. @islaricci

It was a quiet day at the nurse's cabin, which was always good. Usually, there were a few kids coming in with a sliver or something and she'd bandage them up, but they didn't even have that today. Alina was sitting there in the office reading and listening to the laughter that always filled camp when the door opened and her heart skipped a beat as she saw Ricky enter. Her crush on him had definitely grown throughout the years, but she was content in keeping their friendship just that. She just couldn't control her heart from always skipping when she saw him. She smiled as she stood and put her book down before she noticed him touching somewhere in pain. "You know, you can just visit me like a normal person and don't have to be injured." @enriquemarrero

Tyler had been putting off talking to Ricky, even though he knew his friend would be okay with it. He was back with Bridget and was happy he loved her. He knew they talked about moving in, and even though it made him nervous, he wanted to do it right to make sure Rickey would be covered and okay with finding a new roommate or a place to live. It was going to be hard since he had lived with the other for many years now and they were the best of friends.
Knowing that Ricky was off today, he had gone out and got some pizza and wings and headed back home. "Bro!" he called out once he was back inside. "I got us lunch come on our "he said as he sat everything on the counter in the kitchen.
