Yandere Alphabet Sebastian Solace

From the author: hello everyone. I apologize for the abrupt disappearance after the first posts. There was a lot of shit going on in real life. And now especially, especially when I almost had a panic attack. This post... a small attempt to somehow cope with all the emotional problems. Ahem, I apologize for the mistakes, because English is not my native language and I used a translator. Yes, and I just got over it now... Tears, that's it. If I feel better (and a positive reaction will be enough), then I will write a small sketch using this post.

Warning: dr#g use without consent, threat of broken bones, threat of bondage, slight isolation, hint of c#nnib#lism. If you are for the fact that yandere Sebastian is gentle or dark, then you are absolutely not here. The author does not approve of the above written in real life.

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

— Due to so many years of literal torture and DNA implantation, Sebastian has forgotten how to show love and affection. At least, that's what many people imagine.

— Thanks to vague memories of his past, he often gives "gifts". These are usually very rare deceased marine life that he found while exploring the complex. Most often, he drags soft objects such as pillows and blankets to another person.

— It is worth considering that he will often be... Biting his beloved is not strong, of course, but deep enough and in prominent places so that the bite mark remains as long as possible.

— In rare moments, Sebastian can clamp his beloved with his tail and hands, preventing them from moving. Such moments last quite a long time — from several hours to even days. But don't be afraid, he will feed you.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

— Sebastian just doesn't know. The arrest and experiments forced him to think about the present, not the future. Especially when there is a looming danger over him because of his mutations. And not only that.

— But somewhere in the tender moments with his beloved, he definitely thought about having a family with them. And also a safe place where they both don't need anything and no one bothers them.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

— As long as the other person does not speak directly and flirt, or God forbid, does not try to touch the other, then Sebastian is ready to be patient. And if any of this happens, he immediately throws this person out of his store and forbids him to come back. Believe me, this is the mildest thing he can do in bouts of jealousy.

Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?

— Believe it or not, but it's pretty good, let it depend on the mood. Sebastian definitely likes to hold his beloved with his tail and sleep in this position, curled up in the "nest". Bite them, thereby marking them. As it was written above, he gives, albeit sometimes gloomy gifts: dead marine life, someone's bones. But it's definitely nice to get the same pillows and blankets from him. On particularly "lucky" days, he may even bring some simple puzzles, blank paper, and writing supplies. Or even the clean clothes of the employees! And also, as it was written, he definitely likes to watch the beloved eat the food he brought.

— However, do not try to annoy him in any way or, God forbid, make him angry. And even if nothing serious happens for the first time, it's better not to push your luck.

Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

— He will definitely compose a little poetry and read it to you. But mostly his love language, if you can call it that, is gifts, not particularly frequent physical contact, as well as... preening when Sebastian's mood is definitely high. He likes to mess with the hair of his beloved, untangling tangles with his claws and cleaning them from dirt. But it's definitely somehow caused by injected DNA and getting some instincts. Well, Sebastian can also be a good gentleman.

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

— Yes. Quite a lot if you continue to test his patience.

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

— It varies depending on how much his patience is exhausted. If he speaks from the most harmless to severe punishment, then it goes something like this: stronger and deeper bites that leave a scar; short-term deprivation of food; small doses of "medicine"; medium doses; a large dose; broken bones, usually legs.

Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

— Freedom, defined. Sebastian will definitely lock the beloved in the shelter while he goes on business. But even without that, he still has no intention of letting them out of his sight, especially when they are not the first to try to escape or behave badly.

— It will also definitely monitor your meals with extreme care and sleep patterns.

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

— Surprisingly, he is quite patient. But even such patience has its limits.

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

— Sebastian will refuse to believe that their beloved has died. By that time, he will have time to get very attached and it will be a blow to him. So be prepared for the fact that he will simply lose the remnants of his humanity and will babysit your body by locking himself in a shelter.

— Well, if it's an escape... It won't be difficult for him to find you. He knows this place like his own... "Five" fingers. Plus, his senses are highly developed, as are his newfound instincts.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

— Definitely not for both questions. And even if Sebastian hated people and if you are a person yourself, he will not let you go.

Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

— After the accusation that he did not commit, years of experimentation on him, torture, as well as the loss of some memories, you evoke in him... Something really different and new, amidst all this hatred and irritation. This feeling made him relax a little, feel the warmth in his chest and just made his barely controlled instincts calm down.

— You can say that he is really curious. Plus... Years of loneliness in this cruel situation are making themselves felt.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

— Definitely a confusion. Why do you want to come back at all? There, on the surface, you will find a much more cruel world than here, next to it. Yes, the conditions here are not so good, but it is much better than sitting behind bars in a dirty cell or, God forbid, being a test subject of these disgusting people.

— Despite the confusion, Sebastian understands these feelings. But he definitely didn't want to watch the situation worsen. He will definitely give you "medicines" to let you forget, but he will not work hard with it. After all, Sebastian does not want to be like the people who conducted experiments on him.

Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

— Not really.

Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

— It's definitely that Sebastian has become a monster, without a shred of humanity. Despite everything, he still misses the time when he was human, and these words will infuriate him. Plus, the same flashlight or flash in sensitive eyes. This disorients him for a few seconds.

Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?

— Mentally? Not much. Physically? Quite a lot, and it depends on how much you've exhausted his patience.

Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?

— It depends on a lot of things. From the time you are with him, situations have occurred, especially those related to your life. The longer you stay with him and the more situations there are related to your life, the more he will begin to take care of you. But as for the conquest, this is another story and much longer, because Sebastian lost that normal part of himself, acting on the basis of instincts and vague memories.

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

— It depends on the situation.

Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?

— Oh, Sebastian, which is a little surprising, will try to prevent this. He doesn't want a man like you to become even a little bit like him.

Stanford watched as Stanley played with his new dinosaur toys, making small growling and roaring noises every now and then as he clashes the toys together in a make believe fight. His old and forlorn looking teddy sat closely in his lap. Looking at the toy did make Ford feel the slightest bit guilty-Stanley bad kept it so close to him after he tried to take it and put it away, foolishly believing his gift of a stuffed Opossum would be better to play with. But the older toy looked decades old and he didn’t know if it was ever washed or if time had stained the poor thing, Ford wanted to put the plush up to keep it safe from falling apart. He knows better now, how precious the old toy bear was to Stanley, having been his only companion for close to 40 years, one of the few comfort items he allowed himself to have and keep when the world felt too Big for him. Ford sighs to himself, shaking the forlorn thoughts off and walking over to his brother, kneeling down to get on his level he runs a gentle hand through Stanley's hair, a gentle hum coming as a response.

"Lee, may I look at your friend here?" Stanley eyes him cautiously, tugging the stuffed bear close to his chest and turning, hiding it from him. I deserve this, he thinks, for trying to take away his toy. He inhales deeply and shakes his head again, he doesn't have time for these thoughts, he waits a moment and gathers himself, smiling gently at Stanley, "It's alright, I won't take him, Lee. I just want to look at him, I haven't had the chance to really be introduced to him, I don't even know his name!" Ford goes for a gentle laugh, this is what his research has told him to do. Be easy and soft-but firm when needed-when caring for someone in Stanley's headspace. He's never had to do "gentle" before, so this is a work in progress, but it seems he may have hit the mark; his brother looks less suspicious of him and more shy. He's blushing, even, the image so cute Ford wishes he had his journal so he could get a rough sketch of it. He'll have to draw it from memory later.

"Please, Lee? I promise you can keep holding him, I just want to get to know your friend here." He hopes Stanley has forgiven him enough from that incident. Ford smiles as his brother holds out the toy, still keeping a firm grip on it's sides. The stuffed bear has wire framed glassed and is wearing a yellow-plaid sweater vest-or it could have just yellowed with time, even with the care his brother has shown for it-and on the vest looks to be a pocket with some felt pens sewn into it. He recognizes that stitch work, Stanley must have hand sewn these himself! Oh the talent his brother has, remarkable! Ford just hopes he didn't sew these when regressed...

"His name isss-name is...Poindexter..." Stanley's voice came slowly and softly, he was obviously concentration on speaking correctly for Ford-not that he cared for proper pronunciation. Well, he does, but not from his brother when he's regressed, when he's his Little Lee. Ford has also grown used to his brother not pronouncing words correctly, mostly as a way to annoy him...Ford's racing thoughts stop. Poindexter? Stanley named the bear after...him? It's obvious now that that he's looking at the bear, the glasses, the rather geekish attire Ford was known the wear in his youth-college gave him some fashion sense at least-with the little pens lovingly hand sewn into the bear's vest? When Stanley said that some older lady at the shelter he was at when he was around 18-19-even thinking about that made a jolt of anger spark in him, Stanley was just a baby-made a stuffed bear just for him, Ford admittedly did not think it was for him and she just said that to cheer a-a child up. But, seeing as how only the felt pens are new, Ford believes him. Believes that some lady asked Stanley who the person he wanted most at the time was and then made a plush toy version of said person, a toy which Stanley has kept, loved, and cherished for 40 years. A toy which has helped him through his darkest hours and comforted him when he felt Little. A toy modeled after...him...

"No no, don't cw-cry. M'sorry, for naming him-" Ford didn't even realize he had begun to cry until his brother frantically tried to console him, hands clumsily wiping tears away. He gently grabs his brother's wrists and pulls them away before lunging and pulling his Little brother-his Lee-into the tightest hug he could, burying his face in his brother's head to hide any more tears that may spill. His brother should never be sorry, not for this.

"No, it's okay, Lee. Don't apologize. I'm so so very happy that you named him Poindexter. I think it's a rather fitting name for him, a smart name. Good job, Lee, and thank you...I'm-" Ford has to clear his throat, his emotions getting to him. Moses, he loved his brother so much, "I'm glad he was there to help and comfort you when I...when I wasn't able to." He wasn't able to be there for Lee for such a long time, but now that he's back and they've made up, he's going to make sure that they spend the rest of their lives together, sailing across the seas like their dream has always been.

Ford pulls back from the hug, wiping some stray tears from his eyes. Lee looks utterly confused, the adorable tilt to his eyebrows tearing a laugh out of Ford, who quickly reassures Stanley that he's not laughing at him, accentuating his point with a hair ruffle. His brother just sits there in confusion, a stray finger gravitating towards his mouth to be chewed on. Ford bends down over his knees to face Poindexter, still held to Stan's chest in a firm grip, and reaches a hand out, two fingers gingerly shaking a cloth paw up and down.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Poindexter. Thank you for taking care of my brother..."

I love your artstyle!! Do you have any tips for drawing?

thank you so much! i'm really happy you like it!!💗 as for tips, what i would say would change drastically depending on what kind you're looking for, but some very general ones:

draw what you love and want to see most, regardless of whether anyone else wants to see it. if you don't enjoy what you're drawing it'll never come out as good or genuine as something your whole heart and soul is in. i mean you'd think this would be a no-brainer but sometimes i've had to sit back and ask myself 'if no one was ever going to see this except me, would i actually spend time drawing this?' and i was surprised by the answer

that said, it is also completely valid if your motivation for drawing is to draw for other people! there have been plenty of times where i was too artblocked to draw my own ideas but was still able to draw commissions or gifts and enjoyed it simply because making other people happy with my art makes me happy.

don't get too caught up in having a consistent art style. in my experience this 1000% hinders you

having your sense of anatomy degrade over time without you noticing because you keep drawing the same types of characters is a very real thing! if this is a concern to you be sure to draw a variety

follow a billion artists that you like the art of and you will have endless inspiration injected directly into your brain every time you open social media

my favourite practical tip for those who draw at a desk: keep a small mirror next to you at all times. absolute game changer for quickly referencing hands

if you're drawing digitally, make the canvas huge! in my experience this lets you draw messier/faster and you can't tell at all when you zoom out. if you tend to get stuck spending unnecessary amounts of time micromanaging pixels (me💀) keep it zoomed out while drawing

related to the above point, messy drawings can have far more expressiveness in them than neat and polished drawings. nowadays i never do lineart and go straight from 'barebones stickman pose' to 'varying-levels-of-coherent sketch' and use that as my lineart. sweet freedom from the sketch-looks-better-than-the-lineart phenomenon

if your goal is to improve, then you really do have to scrutinize your art, figure out what you're not satisfied with, and commit the time to focusing on it. 'practice makes perfect' kinda rubs me the wrong way because of how much i've seen it interpreted as 'just draw everyday and you'll magically improve' but genuinely it won't get you very far if you don't actively think hard about what you're trying to improve and take the steps to do it. is this a hot take idk. also hand in hand with this, not every artist is trying to improve and you shouldn't feel bad for this! maybe you just wanna make a little headshot doodle of your fave blorbo and that's your only drawing goal ever. awesome. maybe you know your art has flaws but it's passable enough to convey what you want and you're perfectly satisfied with that. (this is the stage i'm usually at). also awesome!

don't hesitate to draw something because you think it's out of your skill level. the worst that can happen if you draw it is that it comes out terribly but you learned something and can always redraw it better in the future. the worst that WILL happen if you don't draw it is that you'll never draw it. and then it will sit in the back of your brain haunting you for years. it's not like i'm speaking from experience or anything aha

look up 'hand stretches for artists' and do them if you draw a lot unless you wish to summon the wrath of the carpal tunnel demons

of course, these may not necessarily work for you, and most importantly(!) these are coming from the perspective of someone who is primarily a hobbyist. some of this won't be practical for people who need to build an audience, maintain a consistent style for work, etc. these are just things that have personally helped me over many years of drawing :)

hi dema! i’m learning how to do digital art, would you mind sharing your coloring process? coloring (and lineart) is the hardest thing for me to do T_T… what brushes do you use for coloring and how do you not make it look muddy? i’ve been trying to follow tutorials from different artists on youtube but i find my work to look so muddy… thank u in advance >__<

Hi, and thank you for thinking about me for advice! I'm honoured to share a bit of my process, nerve-wracking as that is for my shy self, and hopefully help you out as much as I can. Forgive me if I don't express myself very clearly—I have a bit of a hard time explaining these things. Now, let's get started, shall we?

I'll be using the first panel of this artwork as an example.

My process is pretty straight-forward for most artworks. Make a sketch, draw the lineart, and follow a self-made guideline for coloring and rendering.

Sometimes I'll throw the guideline to the trash bin and start experimenting with brushes and chiaroscuro and color palettes, but that doesn't happen most of the time and, when it does, it's more a challenge than anything else, and not really what I think you're looking for.

I'll include my usual steps here, however, and like I said earlier, these steps are more like what you'd call guidelines than actual rules.

This is the lineart!

I tend to think that details bore me and are actually pretty exhausting to do, but then I go and make things as clear and detailed as I can. Because I'm a hypocrite like that.

I did try to keep things simple here, though, mostly because I had to go through three other panels and didn't want to burn out my fuel mid-process.

Base colors! The blush (and Zuko's scar!) I draw in a different layer in case I need adjusting the brightness or saturation later.

It's time for shadows!

Pick a color depending on the atmosphere you want the artwork to have. Is it a cozy, warm scene in a honey-tinted room, or is it a moment shared under the moonlight? The color choice should come as an answer to those questions—deep red for the first one and dark blue for the second.

Choose a color and make it dark and saturated. Then, play with the layer opacity! A darker shadow means harsher light, while less opacity works best for a softer look. See the difference? It's subtle, but it's there.

Of course, this is my personal choice. The way shadows are drawn and color is chosen depends on the artist and the artwork. I choose to play with a more simple coloring style, keeping shadows from blending into each other, but you may like a more realistic approach to shadows and colors.

My best advice? Try doing it every way you can, but in the end choose what works best for you. Whatever feels more comfortable, whatever you enjoy drawing the most. And then work to improve it. Love the little proof that you've gotten better, even if it's subtle.

And talking about subtlety...

I love to play with gradients. I use them mostly to give the artwork some form of atmosphere, and make it look cohesive and whole. A light gradient in the color and direction of the shadows will help the characters blend with the background, as will another gradient in lighter colors for the light.

Get creative with gradients! Use them so the lights feel brighter and the shadows darker.

Now it's time to work with the lineart again.

The pure black lineart makes the artwork look harsher, sharper, so I tend to give it some color to soften its edges and compliment the rest of the drawing. In darker shades as the rest of the colors, growing more saturated as the light comes closer.

I love to make the characters' eyes pop and glow! It's really fun what you can do by just messing a bit with the tones of the lineart.

Finally, I play with the level correction. A high contrast will help your artwork stand out and look brighter. See the difference?

And it's done!

Sometimes I like to add other effects or details, but this is the very, very rough shape of my usual process, and thus what I thought you'd like to see.

Once again, I'd like to point out that this is what works for me, and a large part of improving as an artist is just fooling around and messing up until you find the tools and tricks you're most comfortable with.

So keep drawing those muddy shadows and colors! They're only a step of the process.

To those that have enjoyed reading my stories especially a Little Moxxie love, consider this a little post for the odd challenge I may give you all every now and then. Mainly and especially to see if there would be any takers really eager to step up and try out some au concepts I may do a chapter or two on in my one shot fic series for my 3 main muses or concepts for others I’d be interested to see play out.

this will also see me sharing with you guys some more details on my personal headcanons and takes in the respective universes of my 3 main muses and then some, such as my take in the concepts of Hell and Heaven and the afterlife in the batshit insane world of Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel because not like that stopped this fandom whi omly had the pilot to go on long before we finally got the series on Amazon prime.

Now of course as a Little Moxxie Love has proven to be my quite frankly most popular fic, it’d make the most sense to base my first challenges on it so here it is maniacs. Let’s see how you guys manage your own spin on a Moxxie harem smut series based on these AUs with a few key terms and conditions of course.

So to keep it simple and sweet to the point, for many of you that've enjoyed my story A Little Moxxie Love, I'd like to see your own personal spins on it with any of these two particular AUs of your choice. Just run with what you think you'd enjoy and feel works best. Regarding Loona, if like in the hellhound Moxxie and Millie image you want her to be an imp in Hellhound Moxxie,by all means get creative.

3.Definite regular partners for either version of Moxxie range from and to, and including of course, Loona, Verosika, Stella, pretty much any helluva or hazbin char that comes to mind but by no means limit yourself to just the Hellverse. As you've all seen with a Little Moxxie Love, crossovers make for a great variety, such is the spice of life. Demons, angels, humans, furries however you slice it and make it work.

4.Whether an angel,imp or hellhound, we all know there are constants when it comes to our sweet little possum. His love of the performing arts and theater, music and as that one short shows, he clearly knows how to use that mouth and tongue in the bedroom. and if you need a little violence,he's a skilled killer. I mean criminy Angel Moxxie would likely have demon girls willing to die by his hand if he was an exorcist on extermination day in Hell. After one last request for some passion of course....

So if anyone has any questions or thoughts they want to share, feel to ask but this is what I've got so far. To this point he's one to pine after someone. He hopes his actions might speak louder than words, so there might not be an outright 'I fancy you'. The only reason he actively pursued/told Azul outright was because subtlety can be easily dismissed by a guarded heart.

He will insist on public transit if going anywhere if a car is a viable option. Likewise he could come off as obnoxious when it comes to driver/passenger safety. Seatbelt before keys, music isn't too loud, put the phone down, etc.

Oddly, if you really want to know the biggest tell you are In With Him? The mask starts coming off. His chipper, stiff upper lip attitude gives way to a more calm, almost melancholy air. He's gotten comfortable enough with you to open up about certain things, things he hasn't so much 'lied' about so much as 'omitted details to let you make your own truth'.

For as much as they give airs of 'being more mature' than their peers, there's still a 16yr old there. If they start trying to show you some of their art/music tastes, that's def a path of at the very least friendship.

If you find yourselves having a good whinge over something to drink? You're DEFINITELY friends. Being a Prefect is difficult, they gotta let things out somtime and there's only so many suggestions of 'Just Burn them to a Crisp' from Grim that they can take.

If comes a crisis and they feel need to give Grim to YOU? Congrats you now have a relationship with a Prefect.

Ya boi is awkward. He's acutely aware of his size and strength so his attempts to make friends usually has him trying to seem as unimposing as possible. But if he can't, he'll content do just stand off to the side for you

He's not writing or drawing anything lewd, he swears! Catching him sketching you or writing observations is a bit of a tightrope. Either you can make him clam up about how much of a muse you are to him, or you can open the floodgates to more information about human culture (whether you're human or otherwise) that you would have any idea what to do with.

Dates may be sparse at first, as he'd want to go to a local cultural or holiday event with you. Him burying his nose in another journal isn't him ignoring you or his way to call you boring, he's just really invested in the atmosphere (and maybe observing how you're enjoying things to note for later)

Laz is kind of a flirt, so off the bat it'll be hard to tell if he's just being him or if there's anything more.

Like a lot of guys, if he's inviting you to band practice, it's to show off. 'Mira, any requests?'

He loves the idea of being on the road for shows, but deep down he wants someone who is willing to wait for him at homebase, cheering him on. He just needs to prove it's just his music and not his heart that likes to rove.

It should be first and foremost stated that no matter what he says, he has no interest in friends or romantic partners. Less people to share his success with.

However, one can find themselves more often at his side with a few points of navigation.

How gullible are you? How willing are you to ignore the progression in things he asks of you? How much do you need to see a therapist? How well connected are you? These are a few deciding factors in how close the Python will allow you to get.

Depending on what you can give him, he has the means to pull out quite a few stops. Gifts, travel, physical intimacy, it's all in the name of dividends.

Of course, when it comes to wits and intelligence, is where you can genuinely start to 'charm' him instead of the other way around. If you can out-psychology him or evade all his attempts to crack you, while also showing off what you know but aren't willing to divulge, will make him utterly writhe.

He's a king looking for a ruling partner (that isn't going to threaten his status)

Friendships (or 'alliances') are mutually beneficial. He knows just the right balance of give and take.

He can smell a gold-digger a mile off. It's happened enough times he knows all the steps. Because of how often younger folks tend to shoot their shot that way, he tends to go romantically for those 30+.

While he doesn't want a leech on his arm, he doesn't want someone overly codependent either. He's a busy man, so someone with hobbies and a general maturity of independence would be ideal.

Friendly gatherings tend to be part of public events, but he's a busy man so compile your stories into elevator pitches.

'Dates' on the same hand, are typically in those same spaces. hearkening back to a need for maturity, he isn't going to bring someone who's going to get him in the paper for all the wrong reasons.

She's closest to my personality and what I'd want to look like! A cool skeleton.

I used my usual art style to make this drawing, which is just simple shading on the edges of the lineart!

She's also an OC, but that version of her is vastly different from the persona version of her; in intellect, personality, and whatnot.

She was originally made to be an Underfell OC! But never got fully realized until my Amino days.

She's made to be paired up with Splendor.

River! My anti/opposite persona!

River, she's everything I hope not to be; full of hate, bitterness, and bad choices.

I guess she's the closest to what I look like? Besides her being more lean, but that's because she just wanders bar to bar and ends up in endless fights.

Her arm can change into various things, mainly used for combat, she however was not born with it. It's slowly eating away at her the more she uses it.

Her design was supposed to based off a Hunter from Left 4 Dead, but she kinda looks like Alex Mercer.

My other art style of more detailed shading and lighting you see will be made by her.

It’s funny that we got two asks related to those two’s level of blushing, so please don’t mind me replying to both of you in the same reply.

To answer the first question, I feel like it’s not impossible for Malleus to blush very brightly and strongly to Sebek! I think Sebek is full of surprises and has a lot of potential, and even Malleus could get flustered by him at some point in the future, be it from the way he acts or from the way he makes him feel in an intimate setting. But for now, Sebek to him is like a naive little pup that can’t hide his emotions at all and overreacts to anything, so Malleus feels like the calm and collected one with him around, and is in pretty much in control of both his own emotions and the situation. The day Sebek sees Malleus’ flustered red face will be the day Sebek becomes a man…

And to answer the second question, it’s a good theory that Sebek’s human side affects his level of blushing! There could be some truth to it, but as I was thinking about it, I ended up falling into a rabbit hole of “but wait, is Malleus cold-blooded? Can he not regulate his own body temperature? He literally can though if he is a dragon, right? Wait, what is going on??”, so I can’t say that I have a proper headcanon for this one… But it’s kind of a useless tangent on my side because Sebek is just completely in love and the heat of his blushing cheeks and ears would keep Malleus warm anyway <3

It’s a cute idea to think about the way their bodies reacting differently because of Sebek being a half-fae though!

Now this may be the artists doing Ace dirty. But there are posts showing Ace's lack of muscle compared to someone like Duece. Like I imagine Ace flexing his lil muscles and Duece unintentionally humbles Ace by showing his more toned muscles

Ace is built like a little bitch. And even if he gets with someone like Malleus. Mal could probably snap his fingers and Ace would be reduced to dust.

Anon, we love those! Physical strength isn’t really a factor when it comes to figuring out whether we like a character as a dom or not. Sometimes it’s super hot when the dom is overwhelmingly stronger, but a lot of times the other way around is just as hot. Like you said, Ruggie and Leona are a good example! Malleus also gets dominated in our ships, this is also a good example, I think… Contrasts and interesting power balance makes things spicier~

Same with the dick size. Sometimes one’s soul just craves a bottom with a bigger and longer peen getting completely dominated and messed up by someone of a smaller structure, potentially weaker and a smaller peen… is this why I always draw Idia with such a long dick? Maybe. Now that I think about it, a number of our bottoms have bigger dicks than their tops – Idia with Azul, Vil with Rook, Malleus if we don’t go “Lilia is huge” route… it depends, but once again, it’s all about contrasts and tasty visuals!

I still can’t believe that we went so far with the whole “Lilia is huge” joke that I can’t even think about him being small anymore, but him having a tiny thing would also be fun! His little dagger would be just as deadly, rest assured, so Malleus shouldn’t get too upset about it. I should draw small!Lilia more often.

Malleus with Ace would be such a good combo though… I’m still thinking about them together, sigh~ It would affect Ace’s ego in so many wonderful ways. Imagine being Ace and fucking the Malleus Draconia? With such a gorgeous body? This ship really deserves more attention...

Anyways! To answer the last question in this set, Ace being weaker or stronger than Deuce wouldn’t be a deciding factor. Ace is the top of the ship to us because Deuce is a little bunny bottom bitch; it’s all about energy, not size.

But also, I don’t know if Ace and Deuce are so different in terms of muscle definition 🤔 That recent groovy made Deuce look so buff and I’m not sure if I buy it lol But maybe it’s just my headcanons and biases. I always felt like they’re pretty much the same size, with Deuce maybe being slightly more muscular, but in areas different than Ace.

Azul’s tentacles are probably more sensitive when he is aroused, but a tip of one particular tentacle is always much more sensitive than the others. He doesn’t use it as much as other tentacles.

But also his suckers taste everything they touch at all times, so… if he was to touch something that has certain pheromones in it, he’s definitely going to feel the consequences immediately. I’m not talking about love potions, I’m talking about clothes and bare skin and stuff.

Is there an economy where they sell or interact with the mainland? And I wanna know more about how Howdy's poison works and hope to see his full finman form, kinda got a crush on him. Keep doing what you do!

Ehehehe- I decided to use Howdy for anatomy practice today since you like him so much, I'll definitely try to come up with a full form for him tomorrow or this week :)

But it's nice to hear more and more people enjoy this AU! (Anatomy notes and some sketches at the bottom if anyone is curious) I'll answer as much as I can for this ask. Right below this lovely picture.

Usually people don't just end up on the island of Home "by accident". Say that someone were to be on a ship and suddenly a storm forms out of nowhere, sinking what is left and the stranger is carried to Home by a strong current. It's no accident, but it's set up to look like one.

Wally, is usually the one to make storms way out there. He never explains it, but it's already a well known fact that Home probably told him to do this. If not storms though, one or two of the neighbors do leave for the mainland to retrieve the new neighbor. Whether it be by force or deception. Finfolk (much like in Orkney Folklore) are known for kidnapping and deception so it's no surprise that they usually go this route.

However, if a neighbor takes a liking to someone they may take their sweet time on mainland. Disguised as a whole other puppet (they are known to be shapeshifters), they would most likely butter up their darling until it's too late for them to realize what danger they're in. Off to Home they go!

Even if it seems random, there is always a reason why Home might send someone out to retrieve a new neighbor to add. No one will know what reason, but sometimes Wally is the one to set things up as well. And yes, sometimes he will play matchmaker, it makes him smile to see someone in love (even though most finfolk are just borderline obsessed with puppets on mainland). I guess you could call him Cupid The Fish Demon. "That person seemed so sweet...I think Howdy would love them. What do you think Home?"

There is surprisingly somewhat of an economy that they have on the mainland. Like I've stated before, this is a universe where just about any mythical/folklore creature exists. There would of course be a market for all things magical or purposeful. It's pretty much just Howdy on the Mainland that handles his own seafood restaurant, but usually he's away at Home or handling business with an underground potion shop. The restaurant is handled by trusted employees while he's gone (he's like an owner that checks in every once and a while, probably 3 times a month to make sure things are going smoothly).

The majority of his potions are made at Home, the only place he feels his work is safe at. The potions aren't like that of Wally's work or any of the neighbor's, instead he focuses on more deadlier concoctions. Need someone to go into a never ending sleep? He's got a potion for that. Need someone to get mysteriously sick and die over a long period of time? He's got you covered. Most of his ingredients come from exotic and unknown fish native only to the waters surrounding Home. Though sometimes he will use himself for some potions that are non-lethal.

His scales and fur are usually coated in a thin layer of a slick substance. It is a neurotoxin, affecting the nerves and causing a range of symptoms depending on how much is touched or consumed (usually it's worse if you consume it). Most common symptoms are tingling, numbness, burning sensations, paralysis and sometimes loss of consciousness (though it's short unless you really take in a lot of it). He usually uses this in potions that are meant as a sort of tranq or sedative. Some potions made for causing specifically paralysis (he uses other ingredients to make it last a long while.), sleeping death (sleeping, but it outwardly appears like the person is dead when they're not), severe pain, or a potion for a long and painful death.

No matter what he makes, Howdy is proficient in it. He prides himself in his work like no other.

Some Notes

I know it may sound boring to most, but the best way I did this was looking at muscles for a good 30 minutes and drawing out different shapes that look similar to each muscle. A lot of the muscles look like stretched out diamond shapes or oddly shaped pancakes stacked on top of each other. As for the arms, you can use the chain method on them even with Howdy, it's just at an angle.

You should practice on paper first, but if you are struggling with proportions then try it digitally. Select areas (like a limb) that might seem out of place and resize it until the proportions look okay. This way you can learn how to fix the proportions and later hopefully not need to resize anything in the future.

A note for drawing buff dudes is that the muscles tend to stack on each other like misshapen pancakes or balls of dough. It's not exactly an oval or diamond, but it's shape is stretchable and changing. As for the legs, Men tend to have very square-ish hips and more blocky looking thigh muscles.

I was wondering if you could give any advice on designing characters, or more specifically, fragmem Ocs like Azulan? I've been trying my hand at designing my own for awhile now, but they always feel like they're missing details.

Thank you so much!! I can give some tips on how I design characters 🙇‍♀️!! I have some examples prepared too for anyone who is interested! Azu shall be my model today since it’s fragmem related, but you can use these tips for any fandom/oc you want!

1. Personality ✨

Personality can influence the way your character dresses :0 the way they wear their jackets, scarves etc, can give you some opportunities to experiment with different styles!!

2. Silhouette ☁️

Silhouette is very important to a characters design. It can say a lot about your character, not just their personality! I also find it easier to add accessories after sketching out some base shapes of how I feel the outfit could look like!

3. Compare to the official characters 🩵

This is a preference, but personally I like to study the way the official artists draw the characters.

For Azulan, I looked at Wilmesh and Kurode’s design because I wanted something soft but street!

Take note of the kind of fabrics, patterns and accessories used in official characters, they could give you a feel of how to accessorise your oc in a way that could fit in that world.

4. Draft 📝

This is dependent on how you work, but just remember that many of the times, the first design you come up with may not be what you envisioned! Don’t be afraid to make more than 1 version of the outfit, you could end up loving another design more! You can create a whole new design or expand on the existing one, it’s up to you!

(Here’s a lil peek at Azulan’s original design! He had more flared out pants, and his jacket didn’t even exist then! 😮)

These are just tips I feel that help me out alot when I design characters, please don’t feel pressured to follow these tips, but try them out if you’re interested!! <3 🩵

I don't typically post until I'm done with a illustration/page set, so it can take a long heckin time. If one part one is 8 pages, I'd say it would clock in at two or three months before it's posted (as long as I'm not sick or somethn). I'm okay with posting peridoic snippet updates from my favorite panels though!

fdslkgjslk I know I've come late to this fandom and I can't believe this is my first ask here but. The latest ones you've got have made my brain go BRRRRR. I think that Viktor as the Herald wouldn't be 100% machine and it's not only because of fangirling ok. This dude is gonna be a posterboy of What It Could Be for humanity. A symbiosis. There's the Hextech/Flesh mix he's made of some of himself, which he'd keep. There's the parts I think he'd def change into a machine entirely. As someone who does have chronic pain, I don't think he'd replace his entire torso, because he's already spent like ten years in a harness, and paradoxically if he replaces his lungs and heart and throat and spine, he'd like to feel what it's not like to be in pain and not be constricted there. Like, maybe he changed his ribs, or maybe he put metal over the sides, but not around the whole thing? So, that's a cyborg feature. I feel like he'd augment his left leg with cyborg parts (specially on the knees and ankles) but keep the flesh. And the hips and buttocks, same thing - Lower back and hips reinforced, flesh for the rest. There's a spiteful streak to him, after all.

And he'd keep his human face. To fuck with Jayce. To know that yes, he has a mask on, and he may believe the mask is his real face (hell, even Viktor feels like it sometimes); but he could take it off any time he wants to.

(Also the temporo-mandibular joint is def going to be metal tho, supported by the chin, because look at this guy and tell me he doesn't have bruxism. And I'm sorry about this huge thing, maybe I should've made a sketch X'DD)

I do a lot of flip-flopping on how much I think he’s replaced as the Machine Herald. Sometimes it’s more than others. Like… he preaches the superiority of metal and how the human form can only be improved upon. But then… he enjoys sweetmilk. He has a sense of humor, even in League, where he has supposedly eliminated a fair share of his emotions. So there’s also an element of hypocritical thinking when it comes to Viktor. Like… he says emotion is a barrier between humanity and their highest possible form, but then he finds joy in the little things (like the aforementioned sweetmilk), which is a fundamentally human character trait. And on the other end of that spectrum, as you said, he’s spiteful and holds grudges. Like… my guy has deluded himself into thinking he’s above emotion.

Until we get a definite confirmation in Arcane on just how much augmenting he’s done, it’s fun to play with the options, as a writer. I can write a more detached Viktor, who has replaced basically everything except his brain. And I can write him with very minimal augments—really just what was required to save his life and stop his pain. It’s actually kinda nice, not knowing. For now, anyway. It gives me freedom. But when we do eventually know, I’ll get to write a whole bunch of new canon-compliant stuff!!

I don’t know that Viktor would do anything mod-wise specifically to fuck with Jayce… it kinda depends how bad their falling out is. I feel like Arcane may be stepping back from the contention between them, and making it more of a tragedy of circumstances with notes of personal betrayal. Idk though. If Jayce really does end up betraying him, then all bets are off. He builds parts of himself with the sole intent being to torture Jayce. And maybe even builds the mask so that he never has to look Jayce directly in the eyes again.

Ugh. Can’t believe S2 is still a year away. I NEED ANSWERS.

How to Draw the Turtles REFERENCE RESOURCES:

Turtlepedia is a generally amazing resource for finding reference images, screencaps, and concept art for any TMNT content in general! Rise concept art page is one I tend to go to. I know they have some character model sheets there too.

TMNTCompendium is an account on Tumblr dedicated to collecting references of TMNT both official and fanmade. They've blogged and reblogged some really useful stuff, so I highly recommend giving a scroll-through.

Storyboard/Doodles from official artists really help when finding a more simplified/sketchy approach: Rise tag of Christine Liu's Tumblr is the one I can think of off the top of my head

Others' Specifc ROTMMNT art studies: RaindropSyndrome's Expression Study, Mikiib's Rise turtle Anatomy Study, etc.

I used to use the 3D Rise Models from the Ninja Run / Power Up! game before they were removed from Sketchfab. If you can find another way to view those models, I'd say use that too!

Things I recommend practicing the most?

The shell. Especially Rise, as the shape of the carapace conforms to the curve of a human spine. Angles, how the carapace connects to the plastron. And the head. In thumbnails, I tend to divide them into two shapes, Base + Beak/Snout/Whichever You Call It, then lines generally marking the center, where the eyes would be, where the literal mask ends and then below. This can be harder depending on which character's head you're drawing.

As for staying motivated, that is an issue I still struggle with. What may help me may not help you. But I can give one thing maybe?

For both you and your friend, don't constrict yourselves too hard. Is this a passion project? Then, be more chill with your stuff about it. If you have a story you want to tell, take that time you need. Holding yourself accountable to get those things done? I get it. But beating yourself up about something you were supposed to do for fun? For me, if anything, it made me more dreaded to do those things and I got angry at my ability not to enjoy them.

Also... Don't be hard on yourself out about making it look good by the start.

Tentative Devotee was the first full-on fan-comic I made since I was 14 and I'm becoming 20 this year. Part one is more clearly rough around the edges than part two, and I know when part 3 comes out, there will be another shift. That's a natural consequence of learning to draw unfamiliar things more frequently to show something you want to show.

may I ask how you plan out your fics? I’ve been wanting to get back into writing, especially for multi chapter fics, but I’m not quite sure how to approach it. I’ve always liked the structure of your fics so I was just wondering if you have any tips! Thanks!

hello, sorry this took a while to answer! but sure, i’d be happy to share and thanks for enjoying my fics!

first: this is something that differs from a couple other writers, but i never think of my fics as i’m writing them as “multi chap” fics in the traditional sense. i just think of it as one cohesive story, and then decide as i go (or after the first draft is done) how best to break it up the sections into chapters in order to best serve the story. i’m just not a “release the chapters as they’re written” person, and that is something that really colors my writing and planning process. i find this allows me the greatest degree of control over my storytelling. if i decide something from the beginning is no longer flowing or serving the story the way i want it to, i can go back and adjust it as many times as i want because it’s not published yet.

i also am NOT a discovery writer when it comes to longfics. for shorter things - let’s say anything 15-20k or under - i often let the plot make itself known to me, but for longer ideas, i like to plan.

but i know other writers operate differently, so YMMV!

i wrote a lot more on this than i thought i would, so rest is under the cut

as far as planning - i often start with a huge infodump doc where i just write a bullet-pointed steam of consciousness for all of my thoughts/screaming/inspiration/mental breakdowns lol/etc. after that’s all out, i organize it into different plot points that i want to address.

if you’ve ever looked into the way tv shows are written, i like to plan my longer ideas around a somewhat similar framework - there is the A plot, the B plot, the C plot, etc. maybe even a D or E depending on the show, running as a through line across all the episodes. and since this is fan fiction, one of those plots (if not the main one) is almost always going to be the romance between the main pairing, unless you’re writing gen fic. i personally like to add other story-driven elements in addition to the romance that allow me to add character development, mystery, excitement, intrigue, etc.

i’ll use Lightning’s End, my 52k lusan fic, as an example here. i only had 2 major plotlines that i thought of for that fic. 

A = sanji developing + realizing his feelings for luffy

B = the island they land on and the mystery of it (and how it conceivably grounds the work in canon)

these two things unfolded pretty concurrently in LE, but they might not always!

i like to weave the 2 elements together, decide how they interact with one another, and then actually put together the events of the fic - sketch out what actually is going to happen and how. i don’t really do intensive scene-by-scene outlining other than when i’m in the actual writing process, but i want to know any broad strokes before i put pen to paper!

for LE, i can distill this down in “chapter 1” (or the first 10k) as: the storm sweeps sanji + luffy overboard >> they stargaze and have an emotional breakthrough discussing their pasts >> they find out they’re not alone on the island.

when i actually start writing, i decide what actually is concretely happening in the scene, where they are, what little things each character is doing in the moment, etc.

i also keep a running log of little details i want to remember to sprinkle throughout; anything funny, sweet, inspiring, angsty. physical or behavioral characteristics i want certain characters to have, etc. so i can keep track of them and remember to make them consistent. some of these even end up becoming motifs for the story!

in a nutshell, i like to approach longfics from a big —> small view. decide the plot points, construct the conflict/resolution for each, decide how each of those individual conflicts play into each other, and then decide the scenes and details.

for Lightning’s End, weaving the 2 plot points together got me to 5 chapters at 52k total. for moonlighters, i had a lot more plot points—that themselves required more exposition and development—to get through. approximately 5 or 6, according to my notes, and then i went through the process of making sure they were all interwoven throughout each of the scenes and events i had planned or written. circling back to make sure each of my scenes were always serving one or more of these plots was key for me.

i’ve talked a little bit on discord and twitter of the notion project i’ve made for moonlighters haha…if you happened to have seen that:

i want to make it clear that notion was only ever a tool for me to organize these thoughts that i was already putting into practice from my previous multi chap fics, just in a way that was a lot more regimented and trackable. and highly tailored to me and my planning process. you could probably accomplish the same thing on google sheets, or docs, or excel, or even on pen and paper. i just happen to like notion’s system :D :D
