Apparently the idea for this song came to him after seeing his girlfriends Vietnamese astrology book open at the page saying year of the cat. As for the opening lyrics they were inspired by the Humphrey Bogart movie Casablanca which just happened to be playing on his tv at the time. If Porky Pig would of been on the tv and it said year of the rat we could of had a very different song 😳

I often see debates on what Jason actually listens in music, and I think we as society need more of "Jason listens almost everything, depending on his mood" flavour, actually.

Jason Todd, whose music taste just depends on the day or an hour of a day, and his family can't keep up with that.
