They haven't and you haven't haha!!!! Thank you!!! Just a refresher this from this ask game for people just seeing these I got a fair amount and I'm working through them slowly lmfao. It's so much fun!

9. Rook saying goodbye to a friend. I picked my new AU for this one again. Also they're....totally just friends here. Yeah. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. There is no romance in Ba Sing Se.

When Rook woke, Davrin and his rucksack were gone. The sun was just peeking over the horizon, and her heart skipped. He wouldn't. He had. She jumped to her feet and started running, racing past Eldrin and his morning apple, poking at the fire. He gave her a cheery wave as she sprinted up the trail. Fall was creeping in. Her skin pebbled in the morning air and the leaves had already started their first blush.

She caught him cresting the first hill. He was curiously silent as he walked, head bowed. He heard her before she could announce himself, turning with a guilty expression.

"Sy I-"

She flung herself into his arms and he caught her with an oomph, dropping his pack and hugging her to him tightly. Hot tears pricked her eyes as she shoved at his shoulder.

"You were just going to leave?"

He sighed, hands rubbing at her skin to warm her. "You're freezing."

"Dav." She finally met his eyes.

He ran his thumbs clumsily over her eyes, wiping the tears away. "I'm sorry alright? But I have to do this. I can't stay."

"I'll go with you."

"No." He was forceful, gently pulling away, the last steps of the dance they'd started the night before.

It didn't matter if she would follow him anywhere. Her heart fractured. He turned, hands twitching for lack of direction.

"This is something I have to do. But you have options Sy. I can't go home but you can and if this is really a Blight that's where you should be."

Davrin wasn't changing his mind. She could see it in the stubborn set of the jaw. The world needed monster hunters, and he was nothing if not a hunter. She hated him for it. She loved him for it. Rook unwound the cuff her father had given her, a lifetime before, and wrapped it around his wrist. Davrin let her, eyes intent. Shiny. He swallowed, turning back to her. Then he smiled, kissing her cheek, before picking his rucksack back up.

"We'll see each other again. Just don't do anything stupid until we do."

Rook gave a throaty chuckle, heart splintering as she did. "No promises."

He turned away like he was moving through water, drifting away until he'd crested the next hill.

Then he was gone.

i looked into who made the shadowrun game because im just very fond of it, i used to play it at my neighbors house. to me its quintessentially cyberpunk and esoteric, its the standard and not just because its tied to some fond memories, it made those memories, i looked into the programmers and started googling each one individually and then their other projects because it stands out among bluesky development softwares games projects and none even feel similar, john fulbright however worked on a game called spiderman web of fire, and as soon as i saw footage of it i was again at some neighbors house but this one was a kid and he had this game, and the music and feeling, its the peak of what video games were before they became something else, and hes at least partially responsible i can say with some scientific certainty.

I wonder...

I enjoy working out, but haven't done so in a minute due to unforseen circumstances. During that time I've been working around the house, doing yard work, moving furniture, chores, etc. As much as I can to stay busy.

Then...todaii of all daiis....I remember that I LOVED that life. The life of eating whatever I wanted. Pizza, burgers, ice cream. Any and everything that tasted amazing to me. 🥰

So I've been wondering if there are people interested in helping me stay at home and do nothing but enjoii my foods > working out.

I miss having a feeder. As much as I love working out....I love the feeling of me being comfortable in my own squishy little body. 💞😭
