“Not the best idea.”, Enid stated, taking a peak over your shoulder to see who you were looking at, instantly rolling her eyes once she noticed it was that certain person you wanted to see dead. 

“Why not? He cheated … more than once. It is what he deserves.”, you commented, a wicked grin on your lips as you kept looking at your ex-boyfriend and the girl he cheated with. 

Enid grabbed your hand, pulling you away from the wall you were hiding behind. 

“You sound like Wednesday. I think the two of you spend way too much time together. I don’t like that.”

You shook your head amused. The two of you made your way up to your rooms, secretly still planning how to get your revenge on the boy who not only broke your heart but humiliated you as well. 

“y/n.”, Enid said, snapping you out of your daydream once you stood in front of your door.

You looked at her, a sheepish smile on your lips. You wiggled your eyebrows before both of you entered your room which luckily was only occupied by you at the minute, seeing as though your former roommate didn’t return for the year.

“You scare me.”

“It was just a joke. I wouldn’t be able to kill someone even if I wanted to. I might let Wednesday do it though. Ouch.”

You felt your friend hit your arm, your eyes wide open as you looked at her. You quickly put your hands on her arms, stopping her from slapping you one more time, a gentle smile gracing your lips.

“I’m messing with you, Enid. Nothing will happen to him, I guess.”

“Promise?”

You couldn’t help but giggle lightly, nodding your head as you engulfed your best friend in a hug, reassuring her that you wouldn’t do anything stupid.

“Promise.”

“Good. I need you to stay at Nevermore for a little while longer.”, she whispered into your hair.

Xavier's POV

I looked over to her as she put of the radio. Blonde

there was a beep noise "you have a missed call from your mother" she stated with a smile.

she passed me my phone and saw she messaged me "where are you at tonight"

I quickly respond "with the love of my life"

I put my phone down and the traffic went away

I looked over at her for a moment, her skin was shiny and she looked so elegant.

she smiled softly before leaning back in the seat, resting her feet on the dashboard.

I turned up the radio and put the windows down.

she spotted something on the side of the road and her eyes like up. she looked like an angel.

It might just be me, but I kinda like the concept of Enid still having trouble "wolfing out" post s1

Don't get me wrong wolf!roommate antics would be great too, but like imagine:

....

Enid goes home and she's over the freakin MOON cuz she's finally a real werewolf now, just like the rest of her pack! She tells her family and obviously her mom is relieved (and yet still critical of Enids other invisible flaws) and her Dads happy she's happy and her brothers are annoying and for some reason her scars aren't healing as quickly as a werewolf should be able to heal but it doesn't matter cuz at least she finally feels normal (even if there is a small monotoned voice that sounds suspiciously like her fav lil psycho somewhere in the back of her mind telling her she was "normal" just being herself)

Then a month goes by and its the night of the full moon and Enid's with her family and pack in the woods and everyone starts wolfing out around her and Enid's so excited to join in. But ten minutes go by, then 30 and Enid's excitement starts to dwindle. At the hour mark she feels like she's panicking bcuz why hasn't she turned yet?? and the other wolves in the pack are starting to get antsy waiting for the hunt. After another twenty minutes still waiting, the pack take off and Enid's left alone at the campsite, still human.

The next morning the pack come back and Enid comes out of her tent, keeping her head down as feelings of shame and embarrassment color her cheeks. Her Dad pats her shoulder, tells her she'll get the next one, but her mother refuses to acknowledge her until they get home, and even then its only to hand her another round of brochures before Enid heads off to go cry herself to sleep.

Fast-forward and Nevermore opens back up and Enid's scrambling to get out of her house bcuz she can't stand it any longer. At least at school she has friends who don't really care if she can't shift. She even gets a three-second hug out of Wednesday when they reunite!

A week later is the full moon and Enid's trying so hard to not let it get to her but it seems Wednesday can see through all her fake smiles and nonchalance cuz she corners Enid the night before the full moon and asks her to either produce an explanation or suffer Wednesdays interrogation methods. And Enid comes clean in a sloppy sobbing mess of "i thought i was normal now!" and "its not fair".

And she feels bad cuz Wednesday is obviously NOT the person you should be dumping your emotional blights upon, but surprisingly her roommate seems solemn (more so than per usual Addams fashion) and it isnt until Wednesdays gingerly patting her head that Enid realizes she's actually attempting to cheer her up. And Enid bursts out laughing bcuz its very sweet and caring and so unlike her dreary bff that it actually does the trick.

Thing puts on Jennifer's Body which is a little on the nose given what happened last semester but its something they can all enjoy and Enid nearly chokes on a mouthful of popcorn when Wednesday admits she finds Megan Fox attractive but only when she's covered in blood and devouring the foolish men who fell victim to her seductions. Then they put on Legally Blonde and Enid chokes on her popcorn again when Wednesday says she's seen it before, and they spend three hours playing and pausing it to argue and critique the plot points and "its a girlpower movie Willa!" and eventually they fall asleep and Enid forgets why she was even upset to begin with.

Well, until the next day when its the full moon and Enid's a lil disappointed but not terribly so bcuz her wolf friends invite her out to lunch for some food and a howl, Ajax and Yoko have been sending her silly memes all day, and Thing gave her a manicure this afternoon, but the cherry on top is Wednesday promising another movie night and she gave Enid full control over what they watch. By the time the moon starts rising Enid feels like she's on cloud 9...

Which is inevitably when everything goes to shit bcuz the pain kicks in mid-way through "Let it Go" and Enid has enough strength in her to at least push past a notably worried roomie and out onto their balcony before her bones start cracking and holy shit she's wolfing out! But shes freakin out and so disoriented, not used to her new body or the flood to her senses that are suddenly on blast, and shes panicking and panicking until she hears someone calling to her, coaxing her, and a scent she knows all too well. It calms her, centers her, and Enid comes back to her senses a little to see Wednesday out on the balcony with her, hand outstretched but not touching. And Enid gives a few cautious sniffs and whines and its then that Wednesday finally brushes her fingers along her snout, up to her ears, and begins to softly, soothingly pet her and its then that Enid finally feels like herself in that moment.

She wakes up the next morning on the floor of their room with a small mountain of blankets, stuffed animals, and pillows around her, and Wednesday on her bed beside her. There are claw marks along the floor and fur shed all over the place, but nothings broken and she doesn't smell blood (beside the usual aroma a la Addams). How her roomie managed to get a full blown werewolf back into their room is beyond her but Wednesday looks too peaceful curled up on her bright colored sheets to wake her and find out just yet.

What I'm saying is that Wednesday is Enid's anchor and she'll only wolf out when she's around.

Okay I couldn't get this out of my head so

Ajax was quiet as they sat on her bed, and Enid strained her ears, trying to pick up on anything he might be doing. But he was utterly still. Enid let out a slow exhale.

"Ajax?" Enid asked quietly.

"Mmm?"

Enid felt across the bed until she found his hand, carefully feeling up his arm until she was touching his face. She cupped her other hand under his other cheek and smiled at him. She could feel his face move in a way that indicated he was smiling back.

Then slowly, Enid reached up, towards Ajax's beanie. He stayed still for a moment, like he was trying to figure out what she was doing, but when she took hold of the top of the beanie he suddenly gasped, "Enid!" and grabbed her hand, pulling it away.

"You can't do that," he gasped. Enid raised an eyebrow at him. "Why not?"

Ajax sputtered. "Because- I don't want you to-"

Enid reached up towards his face again, cupping his jaw and making him fall silent. After a moment, she let out a small smirk.

"I can't see you anymore, Ajax," she said, her voice low. She heard Ajax swallow, and she continued, "Don't you realize what that means?"

Ajax was silent. Then, he let out a sudden gasp of realization.

"Are you- are you sure?"

Enid smirked at him. "Even if I weren't, how bad could it possibly be?"

Ajax licked his lips and exhaled slowly. "Okay," he finally complied.

"Okay?"

"Okay."

Enid reached up towards his beanie and grasped it carefully, being careful not to accidentally grip one of his snakes, then slowly pulled it off. Under her other hand, she could feel Ajax tense up.

Quiet hissing met her ears as Ajax's snakes rose up from his head to greet her, rattling vaguely. Enid let out an excited exhale as she slowly, oh so slowly, reached her hand towards them. They seemed unsure at first, poking her hand with the tips of their heads, observing her and flicking their tongues over her skin. Then they hissed, lovingly and gently. They started to intertwine around her fingers, her wrist, hissing gently as they did so. Enid giggled, reaching up with her other hand, and Ajax let out a quiet laugh.

"They're beautiful," Enid whispered, running her finger along one of his snake's back. It intertwined itself around her left ring finger carefully.

There was a moment of silence. "So are you," Ajax quietly responded, and Enid smiled.

Enid has an accident/gets attacked. When all is said and done, it's revealed that she's blind. Fully and permanently blind. Everyone is freaking out or heartbroken for her or what have you, but Enid herself is actually doing ok in comparison. It's not that she isn't upset that she can't see anymore, but she's remembering one thing that nobody else has figured out yet.

Ajax doesn't have to hide his snakes from her anymore.

ugh, there's something about rewatching scenes in wednesday and just noticing xavier's behavior.

like, he's so entitled. idk, i feel like he just thinks he's deserving of wednesday's attention and affection even though wednesday brushes him off so much. and i don't wanna just repeat shit, but?? "i should've let rowan kill you" to expecting wednesday to actually text him is just 💀. leave her alone girl.

not to mention how creepy it was for him to just be like "oh i ASSUME you're here to ask me out to the dance!" knowing wednesday fucking addams is literally just snooping around his art studio? i feel like especially since he specifically remembered her from that one really vivid memory of her "saving" him at a funeral would lead him to at least not jump to the weirdest fucking conclusion of "oh this chick wants to ask me to be her date to a dance."

and i know what they're trying to do. they're trying to recreate a morticia/gomez type relationship with wednesday and xavier. the "oh we first met at a funeral, how romantic for an addams" blah blah whatever. like girl, wednesday didn't even fucking remember him, 💀💀 he was that irrelevant. if you wanna make wednesday date a guy, make it that joel guy from the old movies, they actually kissed instead of whatever weird stalker-y tactics xavier uses. xavier is actually so embarrassing.

“That’s literally perfect,” Enid calls your name when you walk out from behind the fitting room door. She’d woken both you and Wednesday early and made you come out dress shopping with her. It was something that you had an inkling she was going to do, ever since she asked Wednesday to go with her, and Wednesday agreed begrudgingly, Enid hadn’t been able to keep quiet about it.

“Do you really think so?”

“Yes obviously, it’s so gorgeous on you.” she exclaimed. “Don’t you think so, Wednesday?” she asks turning to the girl who is very uninterested in the whole charade of dress shopping.

“I suppose it doesn’t look awful.” Wednesday settles when the blond won’t stop bothering her.

Turning back to the mirror you let your gaze flit up and down the dress, she was right. It was beautiful on you, it was flowing and came to and end just above your knees. The color was the perfect shade of your favorite color and you couldn’t be happier Enid brought you with her.

Guess that’s what best friends are for, right? You’d remember this happy day for years to come.

So Wednesday's out late one full moon, looking for leads on the new murder cases but so far its been difficult and more stressful than she'd like. She decides to head back to the dorms for the evening and turn in for the night, or possibly rope Enid into another "friendly" debate about the bloody history between vampires and werewolves

(Last time had seen Enid practically rabid, claws out and fangs bared, as she tried to convince Wednesday that werewolves won the Wilds of Transylvania back in 1389 fair and square. Wednesday had been so amused by her roommates rage, she'd almost cracked a smile.)

With the prospects of another riveting argument awaiting, Wednesday walks into her room and sees... well, not Enid. There's brightly stuffed animals strewn about like bodies in a massacre, Yoko and Divina are in the center of the room looking decidedly frazzled and panting, a body she presumes belongs to Ajax is on the floor and half under Enid's bed, while Bianca lounges on top of it playing with Wednesday's butterfly knife. And Enid is no where to be seen.

At first, Wednesday's incredibly annoyed bcuz, well, people. And worse its people in her room; not that she has any particular qualms when Enid invites her friends over--Enid insists they're Wednesday's friends too, and well, perhaps they are the most tolerable lot she's met at this school--but she would have liked to have been informed of such a social gathering prior to her arrival (so that she could avoid it).

But then her presence is noted by Bianca with a "oh good, you're finally here", which catches Yoko's attention who turns to the door with a exasperated "Wednesday help!" just as Divina wheezes out "close the door! don't let her out!" And Wednesday has all of two seconds to be confused before she hears Ajax give a cry from under the bed as something fast and furry darts out from beneath it. Instinct has her closing the door just in time for the creature to slam headfirst into the wood.

Its a wolf. A rather small one actually. A puppy essentially. With light fur and ears too big for its head and a set of scratches on the left side of its face-

Its Enid. It registers for Wednesday, as the wolfpup shakes its head and looks up at her with big dopey eyes and its tongue lolling out and tail a blur behind her, that this is indeed her roommate.

Wednesday turns to Yoko with a hard glare. "Explain."

And she does: Enid didn't want to spend another full moon without wolfing out again, the others offered to help her out, borrowed Goodie-now-Wednesday's book of spells, tried a transformation spell, and well...

Wednesday has 3 aneurysms during Yoko's explanation, all while the pup-Enid shreds one of her numerous stuffed animals at her feet. She presents the head of one of the bears to Wednesday, looking very proud of herself, and Wednesday kicks it away out of frustration, but it only seems to instigate more play as Enid chases after it.

"We can't change her back so we were hoping you'd know how to..." Divina adds, jumping behind Yoko when Wednesday's attention snaps back to them menacingly. Bianca snickers from Enid's side of the room, not even fazed as Wednesday glares at her as well.

After threatening, scolding, and some more threatening, Wednesday kicks everyone out so that they don't get caught by the new dorm mother and so she can conduct her research in peace. Or semi-peace. If Wednesday thought Enid's antics were obnoxious as a human, as a puppy she's an absolute terror. She's constantly yapping, destroying her plushies, and chewing every shoe she can sink her fangs into. Thankfully, she takes to chasing Thing around the room for a solid ten minutes before she flops to the ground at Wednesday's feet beneath her desk, sound asleep.

Wednesday spends a few hours looking through Goodie's spellbook but to no avail. There is no counterspell to the transformation written within, so she resigns to try the Nightshade library first thing in the morning and if that fails, summon her parents and have them send over anything useful from the Addam's Family Archives.

She gets into bed, hitting the light as she goes, tired to the point that her eyes are already closing as her head hits the pillow-

Only to fly open as Enid starts whining. And when Wednesday flips the light and looks over the side of her bed, Enid's there with floppy ears and a pitiful expression. And Wednesday knows exactly what she's doing, what she wants, and there is no way in hell. She shushes Enid, shoos her to the other side of the room, flips the light again, and rolls back over to get uncomfortable enough to sleep...

And Enid starts whining again. Louder this time. Scratching at Wednesday's bedpost for added measure.

And look, any other time and any other day, Wednesday would have kept up the routine until Enid gave in and curled up somewhere on her side of the room. But Wednesday is stressed, and Wednesday is tired, and Wednesday is willing just. this. once.

So she sighs, rolls over, grabs Enid's scruff and pulls her up. Enid's tail won't stop whacking the bedspread and she won't stop wiggling, even managing to lick Wednesday's chin before Wednesday pushes her to rest by her feet, threatening her death if she dares try it again or so much as moves from her spot. Enid curls up into a small lump with her nose pressed against Wednesday's shin and Wednesday finally reclines back and lets sleep consume her.

She wakes up the next morning oddly warm with something solid pressed against her side. And its only when she opens her eyes does she realizes she's rolled in her sleep and is now curled up on her side with a hand resting in Enid's fur as the wolfpup/roommate snoozes away beside her.

And look, its early, Wednesday is still tired, and Enid is still a nuisance, but as Wednesday's fingers brush through incredibly soft fur and Enid gives a small snuffle in her sleep, Wednesday could almost swear that she smiled.

(Just puppy!Enid antics would be too cute and she'd drive Wednesday up the freaking wall until she could turn her back to normal)
