Enid would rush into danger unarmed, uncertain, and unplanned if it means making sure that Wednesday was alive and safe. Enid would love the Addams Family as much as they adore her if it means she'll get to love and appreciate every part that makes Wednesday who she is, even the kooky and spooky parts. Wednesday would fill in the silence and whisper sweet nothings in Enid's ear about how beautiful and courageous she is, and, in due time, kiss every scar that litters her body, from Enid's knuckles up to her lips. Wednesday would spend every waking second of her lifetime wishing and aching to be with Enid, having her thoughts still consumed by the wolf when they are apart, and being in ruin when she is absolutely gone. "I would kill for her. I would die for her. Either way, what bliss." is a saying that both of them would fulfill without hesitation.

Wednesday would watch Enid tear a man limb from limb with nothing but her bare teeth and claws, feel fear for the very first time in months, then beg Enid to make her feel all of it again to an even greater extent. Wednesday would witness Enid break down until the wolf had no more tears left to shed, then go out of her own boundaries and embrace her, knowing it is the only way Enid can be comforted and feel loved. Enid would be disgusted at even the idea of partaking in Wednesday's more macabre interests, yet hold her breath and brave the unknown if it means this is what would make Wednesday happy in her own weird way. Enid would see every danger and mystery threatening the love of her life, and bear it all with Wednesday if it means lightening her load and stress. " 'I loved her not for the way she danced with my angels, but for the way the sound of her name can silence my demons' - Me, when describing the love of my life" is something they would both absolutely put in their yearbook quotes if they didn't have anything better to say.

Regardless of who you do or do not ship, those that get mad at people for viewing Wednesday as anything other than straight are just admitting that if they went to school with someone like Wednesday they wouldn’t have idolised her they would have bullied her. It’s giving, “she can be different but only in the ways I personally approve of” which is honestly the antithesis of her character.

just read an article on screenrant about how wenclair (most likely platonically) will be a focal point and at the forefront of season 2, which yeah, makes sense.

but oh my GOD "However, Wednesday season 1 only put the psychic and wolf in heterosexual relationships; Wednesday with Tyler and Xavier," ok yeah tyler and wednesday dated but XAVIER AND WEDNESDAY WERE NOT AND NEVER WERE DATING SJKDFSJH.

i might just dedicate this blog to xavier thorpe hate cause jesus fucking christ

but anyway, said article goes on later to mention that "Since the creators’ comments suggest that Wednesday and Enid were originally only meant to be friends in the series, the idea that they’re reading fan reactions and responding to this, in turn, means they could simply write a romantic relationship between the characters in order to appease fans." which is true, but i feel like the whole thing is not just mindlessly pairing characters together cause they look cute, it's bc they genuinely have a strong emotional connection and would actually function healthily in a relationship lol. and that's where i see straight people going on and saying "oh well they just wanna make everything gay" no because if enid was a guy i would still fully ship wenclair because they WORK 😭.

thank fuck jenna's in the writers room for this season though cause then we'll get some cool stunts from emma myers
