Australia started multi-format Women’s Ashes 2023 series on a high note by winning the only Test at Trent Bridge by 89 runs. still, despite winning the opening white-ball institution, they failed to carry the instigation in the T20I leg and lost to England( 1- 2). It’s worth mentioning that the final T20I of the Women’s Ashes 2023 was played at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in the presence of…

Mo hitting a 6 and a 4, then running 1 to put Jos back on strike to win it - perfection. Love them both.

England Have It Easy Against Australia
T20 World Cup - Super 12 - Group 2 - England vs Australia - Dubai
England recorded their third straight win as they walloped their traditional rival Australia while chasing down a target of 126 to win by eight wickets with 8.2 overs left in their group 1 T20 World Cup match in Dubai on Saturday night.
Having made a total of just 125 in their allotted 20 overs, Australia could have hoped only for a miracle to beat the high riding England team who are one of the favourites to win the title.
But their hopes only turned into disaster as England opener Jos Buttler smashed an imposing unbeaten 71 with as many as five sixes to go with his five fours and reached his half century in just 25 balls to seal England's third victory.
Jonny Bairstow was also not out with 16 to his name that had two sixes and England never had it so easy in a World Cup T20 match against Australia, as they won in 11.4 overs.
England made the right decision when they decided to field first after winning the toss, as fast bowler Chris Woakes sent back David Warner caught behind for 1 and Glenn Maxwell leg-before for 6, while medium pacer Chris Jordan accounted for Steven Smith who made just one run on a day that nothing went right for Australia.
Marcus Stoinis was trapped leg-before without scoring and that reduced Australia to 21 for 4 in the seventh over and it was left to skipper Aaron Finch to anchor the innings.
Finch had to curtail his free-scoring frolics not knowing what to expect as the wickets kept falling.
He could not do any six-hitting that he is feared for and used up 49 balls to make 44 before he was the seventh out with the total at 110 in the first ball of the 19th over.
Ashton Agar who plays primarily as a spin bowler was Australia's second highest scorer with 20, while England's medium pacer Chris Jordan finished with three wickets.
Scores: Australia 125 in 20 overs (Aaron Finch 44, Ashton Agar 20, Chris Woakes 2 for 23, Chris Jordan 3 for 17, Tymal Mills 2 for 45) England 126 for 2 in 11.4 overs (Jason Roy 22, Jos Buttler 71 not out)
