School is staring soon, and I'm scared.
The anxiety is keeping me up.
Here I am, a grown ass man, freaking out at the idea that I, a tall fluent Chinese-speaking Black foreigner, am going to be in front of a grand total of 193 Chinese teenage students in a week.
Every year it's the same spiel. Every year I have to put up with the "Oh sorry, I didn't realize you understood me" followed by the awkward laugh because there's always at least one who will make a racist comment right in front of me.
Shamelessly. And will point and laugh without even flinching.
And I have to stand there, unable to unhear the "hey look, a BLACKIE! lol" or "wow, what an ugly h**g**! (the Mandarin equivalent of the N word)" or "holy shit, that BLACK guy scared the hell out of me!" comments.
Right. To. My. Face.
And I have gather myself, NOT get angry, and then find a way to address this AND THEN pretend it never happened... because that's how they do here.
The first lesson has always been me dodging the random innocent *cough cough* tokenizing, commoditizing, noveltizing questions: "Do you play basketball?", "Do you eat tacos?" (in reference to Kobe Bryant and Taco Tuesday) "Do you do drugs?", "What kind of rap do you listen to?", "Will you rap for us?" (I don't even care for rap... or any music for that matter...).
Every year. No matter the age group. This has been my experience. A fleet of spoiled rich kids who have been led to believe I'm there to entertain them with talks of Robert Frost and New Orleans when really we're just learning how to read and there's no textbook available to help with that. An administration that never understood was racism was until covid happened. Two other foreigners who are blissfully unaware of damn near EVERYTHING. Chinese teachers who witness this shit and runaway hoping I don't call them over.
I'm tired of being the school clap trap.
It's upsetting how I feel that I'm the only person in this big ass country who has no idea how to deal with this, as all the other foreigners like me (fluent in Chinese, of African descent single, in China and not courting or engaged to a local) have left.
I feel numb.
Whenever this is China thing is over, assuming it ends with me still alive, I'm going to need all the therapy because this is traumatizing as sin.

hold tight || tamaki suoh - chapter one
Summary: In which a politician’s daughter begrudgingly transfers to Ouran Academy
Word Count: 2,036
Preface | Chapter One
-
chapter one : out of element ❝ i feel very small. i don't understand. i have so much courage, fire, energy, for so many things. and yet, i get so hurt, so wounded by small things ❞
___________
"Perhaps I should have warned you about the uniform."
A light chuckle left Kyoya's lips when he was met with Kana's frightening glare. Her usually slender figure was covered up by a pastel yellow school uniform. She grunted and pulled at the puffy sleeves, muttering, "I have been dressed by Versace himself, and you stuff me into this monstrous uniform. I look like a pastry."
Kyoya rolled his eyes, ignoring the death glare she had sent his way. There were times when it felt as though being in her presence was no different from being in the presence of a very angry goddess. The goddess of death, perhaps. Her porcelain skin and obsidian features would surely fit the bill. But then, his nickname at Ouran Academy had been "The Shadow King." Surely commoners such as Haruhi Fujioka viewed him the same way he saw Kana Kadenokiji.
"You have far more important matters to attend to than your outfits. The drive to the school will be about thirty minutes. I can walk to you to class when we arrive."
The girl only hummed, turning her head and pressing her head against the window. She and Ootori were only a few days apart, birthday wise, so it was no surprise they'd ended up in the same class. She knew she would have an adjustment period. There was a vast difference between having to see Ootori every week and seeing him everyday.
It would be a welcome distraction, though. It would be refreshing to see a life outside the walls of her bedroom. She swallowed the lump in her throat, fingers gripping her yellow skirt. "Are there any updates?"
Kana watched a look of remorse cross Ootori's face, and she wished she'd never asked. "None."
"I asked you for this one thing--"
"Your brother is a fifteen-year-old boy who ran into the woods in broad daylight. He couldn't have gotten far, so please, let my family handle this," He responded.
She motioned for the driver to shut the partition, turning her attention back to her dress. It had taken a full week for her to completely transfer her files to Ouran. When she'd arrived, she was presented with a tour of the pink European-esque architecture. It was beautiful, to say the least. She was sure the only thing she would have to worry about was getting lost.
Her eyes landed on the diamond encrusted ring around her finger, and she remembered the club activities Ootori involved himself in. He'd mentioned it briefly, as though he were asking her rather than telling her. Truthfully, she couldn't have cared less; but she supposed she would have to, now that she was attending the same school as he. She wondered if he'd ever spoken of it to his colleagues.
"You don't have to take it off if you aren't comfortable with it," Kyoya explained, as though reading her mind. "No one at the school is aware of our engagement except those who put effort into researching each of the students. It's public record, so there isn't any point in hiding it. And most of my work at the Host Club consists of finances and advertising, so there's no problem there."
"I thought you were supposed to be the Cool Type."
"You don't think so?"
A sigh left her mouth. "I am going to be your wife, Ootori. I think whatever you want me to think."
Equals. It had been an unspoken agreement between the two that they would treat each other as equals, and nothing less. They were each brilliant in their own way, they would each have their own roles to fulfill within the business. Still, that never stopped the uneasy feeling that rested in Kana's stomach. The feeling that one day, Ootori would surpass her in her own game, and she would become Ootori Kana: wife of the CEO of Kadenokiji Industries. Nothing less, and unfortunately, nothing more.
Thirty minutes passed in complete silence. Ootori was writing in his little black book, and Kana spent the remainder of the travel staring out the window. Every so often, she would catch a glimpse of Jun, hiding in plain sight; but she would blink, and the image would be distorted. It would be a boy with skin that too tall to have been Jun, or perhaps too skinny, or perhaps too happy.
Kyoya had requested that they be dropped off at the back of the school, stating that it was a much easier route to the classroom they would need to get to. Kana glanced down at her schedule and sighed. These classes couldn't have been much harder than the ones she'd been given at home.
"These classes are going to be much harder than the ones you've been given at home," Kyoya stated, opening the door on his side of the car and reaching for his bag. "You're going to need some time to adjust, but I assure you, you'll be alright."
She narrowed her eyes at the Shadow King. He hadn't mentioned anything about rigorous schoolwork -- come to think of it, he hadn't mentioned anything about schoolwork. Most of his arguments consisted of Japanese education and distractions. Not five minutes and she already found herself missing her Parisian tutor, Emilie. She'd had an odd name and her Japanese hadn't been perfect, but she might have preferred the familiarity to whatever nonsense awaited her.
Emilie had taught her English, French, and Latin. She'd been the kindest of Kana's three tutors, and even when she'd been harsh, it had been hard to stay angry at her. The girl was of Indian descent and had stood at 5'2" with sweet brown eyes and a warm smile. Snapping at her had made Kana felt as though she'd kicked a small kitten.
Jinwoo had taught her maths and sciences -- and by default, Korean, as he refused to speak in Japanese. This had been something Kana forced herself to becoming accustomed to, assuming that he hadn't known how to speak Japanese or English. She learned three years later that the old man was fluent in Japanese, English, Mandarin, and Swiss.
Rosita had been her music teacher -- or musical warlord. She'd used extreme methods in her efforts to teach Kana the violin. The lessons stopped when she turned fifteen and her father noticed light bruising on her left hand. They never spoke of it.
If the classes at Ouran Academy were more extreme than the ones she'd taken at home, she swore to herself she would call her driver to bring her home within the first hour.
Kyoya had gone out of his way to lead Kana to her classroom, speaking to her despite the cold aura she seemed to radiate. He spoke of the founders of Ouran Academy, the subjects, he'd even gone out of his way to mention the Host Club. He was well aware she had no interest in learning any of this, but he would take comfort in knowing she was well-informed.
"The teacher was previously a professor in Tokyo. I can give you a copy of his file so you're aware of his credentials."
"No, thank you." Kana stopped at the door of the classroom and took a breath. As she stepped into the busy classroom, it occurred to her why her father had invested so much money into home-schooling her and her brother. The teenagers in front of her were no better than heathens.
She wondered how many of them would know who she was. Whether or not they would approach her, and she rehearsed the cutting lines she would respond with in her head. Kana made her way through the classroom, taking a seat three rows from the back -- one seat away from Ootori. Her eyes shifted to the black-haired boy, who stood at the doorway speaking to an eccentric blond male. The corner of her lip switch as she watched Ootori deadpan at the boy's eccentric movements.
'That must be Suoh, then,' She thought to herself. Ootori would mention him every now and then -- mostly to vent about what an idiot he was. Still, Ootori seemed to treasure their friendship, and she wondered if he was as interesting as Ootori had described him. 'The Host Club's king,' she recalled.
The group of students fell into silence as the professor entered, and everyone scattered to their seats. Suoh took the seat behind Kana, and it occurred to her that she should have checked the surrounding seats before choosing.
Despite Ootori's warnings, the professor was rather liberal in his teachings. He was kind, extending a hand to Kana as he asked her to introduce herself. When she respectfully declined, she felt a tap on her shoulder. When she turned, she was met with Suoh's strange violet irises.
"Hello, Princess. My name is Tamaki Suoh. It's a pleasure to have you here." He took a hold of Kana's hand, placing a kiss to her knuckles. "I assume you've heard of me?"
"Tamaki, please take your hands off Miss Kadenokiji," Ootori sighed, already exasperated at his antics.
Kana glanced at him, amused that he hadn't been able to last ten minutes at Ouran Academy without breaking his façade. He'd always been so composed during their meetings. Was it Suoh that was able to bring it out of him? If so, how far would she be able to push him?
"It's nice to meet you," Kana replied to Suoh, slipping her hand out of his grasp. When the smile fell from his face, she added, "Ootori has mentioned you quite a bit."
Ootori glared at her through his glasses, and Suoh threw himself at him, yelling praises about how much he loved him and how he always knew they were meant to be friends. Mischief danced in Kana's dark eyes as she turned her attention back to the professor. She had always known how to play her cards correctly. It was no wonder why her father had chosen her to be his heir.
"Mommy dear, I always knew you cared for me! Why, it's no wonder, after all. My blond hair and light features compliment yours, perfectly! You are the moon to my sun. I am the stars in your sky. We are perfect for each other!"
Kyoya cleared his throat. "Tamaki, shouldn't you be focusing on making Miss Kadenokiji more comfortable? It is her first day at Ouran Academy."
"Ah, yes. So, tell me!" The extravagant French boy turned his attention to the girl, leaning so far over his desk that, if the laws of physics had applied, he would have fallen. "Why did such a beautiful girl like yourself transfer to Ouran Academy?"
"Because I wanted to," Kana responded simply, doing her best to focus on the lesson.
"You know, I've heard about you and your family."
Kana stiffened, her grasp tightening on the fountain pen between her fingers. Surely he wouldn't bring up her brother's disappearance in such a public place. Information such as that could be used for blackmail. There was no use if he was going to announce it in the middle of a classroom, and why wasn't the professor interfering? Surely this has to be against school policy. No one else is talking. Was this a daily issue? Had they gotten so used to it that they didn't bother cutting him off?
"All of you are just so beautiful. Tell me, do you get your beauty from your mother or your father?" Suoh flirted, while Ootori simply copied down his notes. "I'm sorry, I can't help but ask. I've never seen a beauty quite like yours, Princess Kana."
She let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding, ignoring the ink puddles that were now staining her paper. Perhaps attending a school in which everyone knew who she was, wasn't her best distraction after all.

HEADCANONS
When Cooper Anderson travelled back to Lima in the spring of 2012 to visit his younger brother what he was not expecting was to meet a girl eight years his junior studying literature at Lima’s Ohio State campus. June Robinson was exactly the kind of girl Cooper liked to get his hands on. Pretty, recognized his celebrity status, and was smart enough to keep up a conversation with and while normally their story would have ended after their one night stand, they decided to exchange numbers and keep in touch. This led to nightly texting which turned into good morning texts which turned into FaceTime calls which turned into June hopping on a plane to California (the same week as Cooper’s own brother’s wedding). By the time June had landed, Cooper had been given the news that his younger brother had gotten married to his high school sweetheart, the older Anderson just had to retaliate. There was no way he was about to not be told about his own brother’s wedding let alone not be in attendance to cause a disturbance, so he did what any sane person would do. He proposed to June, without a ring, but he covered that one up by telling June that there were going to go to a jeweler and pick out a ring that she wanted. The two didn’t plan to get married that week or even that month, but somehow after June had her pretty engagement ring on, they were running down to a local courthouse.
After the marriage was finalized, June had the most amazing trip in Los Angeles before going back to Lima and finishing up her semester before fully transferring to a campus in LA where her and Cooper could live together and start their life. For two people who jumped the gun on getting married, they surprisingly handled domestic life fairly well. They were happy. Cooper was acting. June was writing. Their income was fairly stable, even if sometimes Cooper had to pick up a random commercial gig or June had to do freelance article work just to make sure they could pay rent for the month. They made things work and despite Cooper’s poor acting chops, he managed to make it big doing random B-list movies and playing roles in random crime shows. Everything was just so good and one thing they agreed on. No kids. Why would they mess up something that was already so perfect?
Well, that was all said and done until they were coming up on their 8th anniversary. Maybe they did want children or maybe they were having a bad case of relationship boredom. They had already travelled, excelled in their careers, what more was their to do besides have a couple of kids? Which is exactly what they did. Heidi June Anderson was born on August 31st, 2024 happy, healthy, and giggling. And again, things were completely fine until they weren’t. It wasn’t long after Heidi’s birth that things started to go south. It had nothing to do with Heidi specifically, but more of the events that transpired after her birth. June got lonely, she wasn’t writing as often, and she was in a rut. It didn’t help that Cooper had some hot blonde as a co-star either on his new movie while June was still recovering postpartum. So, she found solace in a close friend of hers and it wasn’t long before Cooper pieced things together and found June with another man in their own bed. Incoming divorce and custody papers. Everything happened when Heidi was way too young to even piece together a memory of her mother and wanting to move on from the life she built in Los Angeles, she moved away to some European country but that wasn’t the last time Heidi saw her mom. They worked out an agreement where Cooper got full custody, but June had all the visitation rights she wanted as long as she was in town. That wasn’t very often though and by the time Heidi was ten, the visitations stopped altogether.
Growing up with Cooper as a dad wasn’t the worst possible situation. They had pizza for breakfast and cereal for dinner and Cooper always made Heidi watch any movies or tv shows he had been in and made her review and critique them all (Heidi was always one to point out Cooper’s lack of pointing in certain scenes). This meant she had to sit through many, many hours or Cooper “starring” on multiple crime dramas and she gripped onto that. Her entire life she had been shown the showbiz side of life, getting chucked into singing, dancing, and acting lessons and even though she was still watching her dad’s content, she fell in love with crime shows, begging Cooper to put on episodes that wasn’t even his. She wasn’t about to up and become some kind of criminal, but the cases were just so entrancing.
At some point during Heidi’s childhood, Cooper began to realize that he couldn’t raise Heidi by himself. He needed some sort of help from his family so Cooper packed himself and Heidi up to Lima, Ohio. Partly for help via his own family, but he also was more hopeful that June would visit Lima to see her parents more than come to Los Angeles to see her ex-husband and daughter. While in Lima, Heidi spent most of her time with her paternal grandparents while Cooper would be off travelling back and forth to Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, and anywhere else he could find work.
Now in her formidable teenage years, Heidi had almost chosen to go to William McKinley High School. They had an okay academic and arts program and she lived in the district, but her dad would stand for no such thing. Him and his brother both attended Dalton Academy for most of their teen years and Heidi’s own mother had attended Crawford County Day and was a crucial member to the Canaries during her own high school years, Heidi’s options were limited and she knew the path her dad wanted for her. She was an Anderson! She was born to sing and act! So, she ended up at Crawford and opting to go for uniforms and rich girl tactics and quickly joined the ranks of the Canaries.
The only problem with Heidi being in the Canaries is cut down to one simple fact - she’s simply untalented. She can’t sing, dance, or act very well. This is something her own dad would never say to her, but she’s simply an okay performer. The only real reason she’s still able to compete and be on the team is because with her extensive background of dance classes and vocal lessons, she can hold a pitch and she can learn choreography and her slight athleticism has allowed her to keep up with whatever's thrown at her on the Canaries. She may not be a lead, but she certainly adds character and a booster by the name of Cooper Anderson.

𝚆𝙴'𝚁𝙴 𝙹𝚄𝚂𝚃 𝚂𝙲𝙰𝚁𝙴𝙳 𝚃𝙾 𝙰𝙳𝙼𝙸𝚃 𝚆𝙴'𝚁𝙴 𝙰𝙻𝙾𝙽𝙴
on september 4 1993 , no one was happier than kamile and alperen aydin . for their baby girl had entered the world . she was welcomed with a torrent of happy tears and zealous proclamations of never - ending love as well as veracious oaths to keep their baby daughter protected . they were never going to let her go .
and as they promised , talia grew up secluded from everything . she was never allowed beyond the boundaries of their house and their gates and fences were far too tall for little talia to even sneak a peek above . and her mother assured her , she wasn’t missing out on anything . but talia couldn’t help but wander , what was that noise ? an ice - cream truck that she’s read about ? or different types of birds and their different types of songs ? or other children , just like her ! who were willing to play tag and hide - and - seek ! she never got the answer
she was an only child and was home - schooled all her life , the burden of her parent’s expectations were particularly potent , especially about .. well , everythiing . they taught her four languages . besides her mother - tongue she was to also learn english , french , german and mandarin chinese . but the only sport dignified enough for the aydins was croquet . and then there was physics ; einstein’s theory of relativity , newton’s laws of motion , the big bang theory and so many more , biology ; natural selection and evolution , epigenetics , hormones and pregnancy and she was even taught about weedy and invasive plants , chemistry , maths and every other subject that was likely to cause the onset of depression in a pre - pubescent teenage girl .
but science , science she found a deep love for . it was interesting and magical even , it captivated her completely and her parents were happy to accomodate to her passion . giving her extra lessons and more posters and talia just couldn’t stop her fervid desire to know . and she rigorously dedicated herself to everything about it . to her it wasn’t about the grades or for the pride of her parents but for herself , for her own mind , to appease her own curiosity . it gave her freedom .
but as she grew older , the house looked smaller and the walls constantly felt like they were closing in . she was suffocating , she would feel claustrophobic in every room and she knew she had to get out of there before she lost her mind . so she snuck out , past their tall and frightening gates , past her cooking father and sleeping mother . as she took that first step , she felt like she had walked through a portal into another universe . there was such beauty , everywhere . and noise ! all kinds of noise , arguments and laughter , car honks and the roar of motorcycle engines . even the air smelt different . there was an aroma of food , new herbs and spices , it truly was an adventure she would never forget .
and on the way back , she had meticulously planned it you see , she was to leave at this time , grab these things , say this excuse and then leave at this exact time . otherwise , hell hath no fury like a mother scorned . but the cruel trickster fate , had different plans . on the way back she met a boy . a tourist , from brooklyn , new york . . he had honey eyes and dark skin and there was a strange new feeling that stirred in her stomach , like the flutter of butterflies or the whirring of a malfunctioning machine . they shook hands and exchanged names and talked for a while . but what stuck to her was where lucas was from , america , he answered , the land of the free . she left him with a smile on her face . despite knowing that her plan had been discarded and there was upcoming consequences to her actions , she couldn’t wipe the grin off her face . partly because of the boy and also because of the prospect of freedom . just a few oceans away , she felt like it was calling to her .
and , as she had predicted . her parents knew and they were enraged . and of course , talia had seen her parents angry before but this was new and alarming manifestation of their insecurities . they lectured her about the dangers of everything , of the world , of strangers , of cars , of air . ** trigger warning : parents being mean ? ** and they sent her to the basement , where it was cold and dark . and the only way that talia got through it all , with dry cheeks and a soaring heart , was because of that particular honey - eyed boy . the basement was not a new punishment . and the dark was an old friend . but what the darkness harboured was a stranger to her . her overactive imagination went haywire whenever she was in the basement -- fabricating monsters and gargoyles , winged - serpents and three - headed snakes . when she was down there , she could never sleep , she couldn’t stop shaking either . ** end trigger warning ** but she held on to the hope that she would meet that honey - eyed boy again and share the freedom he glorified in .
eighteen . she thought it was an age which warranted freedom and trust . but her parents only became more stern and harsh and utterly unyielding in the subject of talia’s freedom . she was to stay at the house , work with her father on his research project . and never leave . she cried about it a lot when she first heard the new guidelines of her existence . but her father explained it to her , her mother had lost one sister to disease , another in a traffic accident and a brother to alcohol . her father’s exact words were , “ she had failed in protecting her siblings but she wasn’t going to fail you . she loves you too much .” and talia understood , the only thing she could really do was accept it .
she worked with her father on his research project , he was a botanist and loved plants far more than the ordinary individual , he was always seeking for new plan species , even promising talia , that had he ever found one , he would name it after his daughter . for a while she was content , happy even but it didn’t last , it was never going to . she sought for something greater than the mundanities of a secluded lifestyle , she sought for love . and once she was curious about something , she wasn’t going to stop till her curiosity was satiated with answers .
at twenty - two , in the middle of the night , she worked up the courage , she stole her parent’s money ( not before leaving them a detailed letter mostly composing of apologies and proclamations of love and just a sentence or two asking them not to look for her ) , carrying nothing but a backpack and knowing absolutely nothing about the world , except from what she’s read , she headed to the airport . she caught a plane , brooklyn , new york . that was all lucas had told her . but that was all she needed . this was far greater than a boy now , this was about liberty .
at twenty - three , she had gotten a job , she had rented out an old and decrepit apartment and she was alone most of the time , but she couldn’t have been happier . she was free . what greater things were there than the liberty to choose , to be who you wanted to be . then love . love found her and wrapped her up . as though bound by the red string of fate , she and lucas found each other . and they grew to trust each other and love each other and three years on , they were engaged .
and as a little present for her , a pre - honeymoon , lucas had arranged for them to go on a roadtrip . first stop , delaware . she had heard about midway speedway park ( for go - karting and mini golf ! ) and jungle jim’s ( a seasonal water park with games ! ) from a co - worker and talia was completely enamoured with the idea of go - karting ! and water - slides ! she didn’t stop talking about it for days . and lucas , who knew his fiancé more than she knew herself , was enamoured with the idea of making her happy .
but as soon as they got there , something changed . like a flip had been switched off and they were hit with darkness . chaos and anarchy ensued and the worst flaws of human nature emerged . people were cruel and merciless and talia , who had been secluded for a great chunk of her life and who was taught to think meticulously and methodically , found it difficult to find the calculations in chaos . and it sent her brain into haywire . * trigger warning : anxiety attacks * she was anxious and panicked and most of the nights were spent with lucas trying to help her breathe . * end trigger warning *
as long as she was with lucas , she could do it , she could keep going . but a few months in this new reality , they were separated . lucas had protected her , begged her to run while he tried to fight for his life . and talia , who was ready to stay , ready to leave earth with the love of her life , ran . and she ran and ran , until she couldn’t breathe anymore , until her legs collapsed from under her , the screams of her soulmate still ringing in her ears . that was when she found the rogues , or rather the rouges found her . and everyday after that , all she could her was her mother’s warning voice , curiosity killed the cat .
but she wasn’t going to give up on lucas . there was a chance he could still be a live . she thought about everything methodically and meticulously , applying principles of science and laws of nature but love , love was an exception -- lucas was an exception . and that night she decided that nothing could stop her from finding him . yes , curiosity killed the cat . but satisfaction brought it back .
𝚆𝙷𝙰𝚃 𝙸𝙵 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝚆𝙾𝚁𝙻𝙳 𝙸𝚂 𝙰 𝙷𝙾𝙿𝙴𝙻𝙴𝚂𝚂 𝙿𝙻𝙰𝙲𝙴
a kid , actually though . because she was secluded from everything , she is fascinated about everything . she is also very in love with earth , she wants to protect it and capture as much of the old world as possible . so she usually carries around a notebook and a pen , asking people their stories and what their life was . she literally stacked up on disposable cameras and a lot of film when she had walked past it . so shes taking picture with those too sometimes .
she’s abrasive sometimes . she didn’t have a lot of interactions with other people . and sometimes she says things without thinking , and even though she had some practice , she might still say something insensitive because she didn’t know it was insensitive --- basically , she’s emotionally stupid . and she doesn’t know much about feelings . she feels them and she knows she feels them but its all still quite new to her .
she’s a compliant rogue , she does what she’s asked and abides whatever rules they’ve established . but she’s quite annoying , she calls people out on their stupidity and always kinda like thinks she’s better than everyone . she’s definitely not shy about highlighting people’s mistake and she loves LOOOVES telling people ‘ i told you so ’
she’s very physically weak . she doesn’t have any arm strength and she’s moderately good at running . but yeah , nah . she can’t fight for shit .
𝙰𝙽𝙳 𝚆𝙴'𝚁𝙴 𝙾𝙽 𝙾𝚄𝚁 𝙾𝚆𝙽
maybe the rogue who found her all sad and stuff ? and since they helped talia when she was such in a vulnerable state , she really trusts them and confides in them a lot ? and she always keeps them close because she’s scared of them getting hurt or them being separated .
also , i’m sending a wc form to the main but is there anyone who mayaps want to write lucas ?? maybe he survived and found the hartly compound ??? ( of couursee you can change their name and their personality , everything is basically up to you ! )
someone who’s helping her toughen up ????
someone who is annoying but she low - key loves and relies on ?? or vice versa !!
a little sibling / big sibling kind of dynamic !!
umm , idk but definitely lots more !!! i’m one - hundo percent up for brainstorming !!!
TLDR
been sheltered from everything most of her life , got separated with her fiancee , found the rogues , not giving up on finding her fiancee , she’s very annoying and says things without filtering them in her mind first , she’s kinda uptight , loves to show - off what she knows but loves to tell people ‘ i told you so ’ even more XD
#[[ this is a new benchmark guys .... this is not only 1000 but 2000 worDS adsfhjk ]]#[[ tldr is at the bottom !! hehhe ]]#miseriaintro

korean culture lesson: kpop
Ah, yes, the time has come. K-pop, short for Korean pop music (케이팝), is becoming more popular in the West and is integral in modern Korean pop culture. In this lesson, we will learn about the origin of K-pop, problems in the K-pop industry and the impact of K-pop on South Korea and the West.
One of the first modern K-pop groups was Seo Taiji and Boys, which performed from 1992 to 1996. With the boy band H.O.T., “idol-culture” became more prevalent and K-pop became a sub-culture among teenagers and young adults.
“Trainees” ( 연수생), hopeful K-pop idols, go through rigorous training before debuting and this training period can last for several years. Trainees receive training in singing, dancing and foreign languages (usually English, Japanese and Mandarin).
Some idols and groups have had problems with obsessive and intrusive fans, usually referred to as sasaeng (사생팬). A sasaeng usually engages in stalking and other disturbing behaviour.
K-pop management companies have come under fire multiple times for exploiting idols by overworking them and offering restrictive contracts (referred to as “slave contracts”). Idols often have to practice, study and perform without sleep and idols passing out on stage or during fan-meetups from exhaustion is sometimes seen. The South Korean state has implemented laws to protect idols and trainees, especially minors, from exploitation.
Some of the most popular K-pop groups include BTS (방탄소년단), Red Velvet (레드벨벳), EXO (엑소), SHINee and BLACKPINK (블랙핑크).
K-pop greatly influences fashion in South Korea, with the large fanbases following trends set by idols. K-pop isn’t just popular in South Korea and has a massive following in other Asian countries, North America, Europe and Africa. Accounts of K-pop having been smuggled into North Korea have also been noted.

AFTER 19 & BEFORE 20
I’m exactly writing this post 8:54 pm. I have so much to learned in my life, so much to give and to figure out. Before I became 20 these are the list that I learned and experienced and have the most impact in life at the age of 19.
1. Enjoy every moment of your life, every steps that you take. 2. Always give time to your love one’s. 3. Don’t regret, just move on, regretting makes you make another mistakes to regret. 4.I’m getting old now, so I need to be matured but still enjoy the life that has given to me. 5, Be loyal the people around me but always have the wisdom to take their sides, to judge either if they are right or wrong. 6. There are so many things to learn, do not be afraid to learn them, just keep on struggling for my improvement. 7. Life is difficult as its, but it is always on the perspective of each of everyone on how we can turn negative things to a positive. 8. When you commit mistakes always forgive yourself and give yourself room for improvement. 9. Search for real things or genuine things not by the things that has given to you because of the mask that you have made. 10. Learn to let go of the people that does not really want to be on your side and to the people that is only on your side because they needed something to you. 11. Learn to let go small mistakes people committed because your relationship with them is greater than your pride. 12. People will say you cannot do that but the only one who can really say you cannot do that is “no one”, even yourself cannot tell to yourself that I can’t do it. You only have the permission unless you try it and give your all best to achieve something. 13. Do not dream, take actions to achieve it. 14. Love hurts but it can also inspires people. 15. It is okay to be with small number of people, you cannot be friends with everyone but you can be friendly with them, as long you are with people that makes you happy then you will be happy. 16. Trying things even it is difficult proves that you are fighter, that you are not giving even it is small, it does not matter as long you improved. 17. Just be true to yourself and you will find somebody who will accept for who really you are. 18. Anime, Games, Novels, Movies or anything that has story to inspires other people. It does not matter who you are or what you like, but what matters is how you contribute to this world and if you do not give pain to other people. It is just matter of respect, having freedom of expression or speech but does not inflicting pain to other people. 19. It does not mean that you are alone it equates to in dependency, but it does not mean if you are alone you are weak. It always depends on how you live on the word “alone”. 20. It is s 9:23 pm now, I want to say to myself I’m very proud of you that you still alive despite of what the world is. Tonight I want to give myself a present, a present of being “fearless”.That I should not be afraid of what tomorrow can give to me but rather anticipate it and be glad that I still have another chance to make it right. I still have many regret in my life because I will become 20 years old and I still not graduated and I still not able to make my dreams come true because of me becoming a “sloth”. I want to work harder than before and to prove to myself that I can do it. I do not want to compete to other human being but rather to myself only.
“DEKU: to me - I can do anything, I just need to trust myself. Thank God for another wonderful year and I survived. I am almost on my 1/3 of my life (20/60). I want to live the most of it. I know it still not enough to do everything I want but I’m still glad that I have the opportunity to live and love even though it feels hell sometimes.
Wanting to comeback to my old self just because I feel like I’m changing for someone else is the biggest mistakes that I have done for being 19 years old. Wanting to comeback to my old self it means that even your bad traits will comeback to instead I should say to myself i want to improve myself and be a better person.
I want to manage my time more and priority the things that is needed, i want to be more organize to my things and to attentive to what is happening around me. To be more tolerated but at the same to speak if there something is not right.
I still believe in “equality with justice”, not because of Taylor Swift “I believe in karma, that I will get mine so you will get yours” I just paraphrase it. So everything I do I need to be careful in order not to hurt other people. “Which comes the golden rule, “ don’t do unto others what you don’t want others do unto you”, just copied it from the internet. Before I became 20, I become more engaged on watching anime. feeling like more alone but somehow I find myself standing up again and trying to live and for me it is the most wonderful view I see, seeing myself standing on my own and trying to live despite of the massive regret I have.
I’m sorry but I’m moving on. I’m sorry but I’m not afraid anymore. I’m sorry but I will try my best now. I’m sorry but I’m climbing to my Cloud 9 again. I’m sorry but you will see the better version of me even you stop me. I’m sorry but I will achieve my dreams and I will not give up. I’m sorry but I’m going to be me and not anyone else.
On this my age: I love watching: Boku no Hero Academia, Your lie in April, Koe no Katachi, The Voice, 13 Reasons Why, Fight for My Way and Kyo Kara Maou! . This day I try to watch “Haikyuu”. Watching different stuff is like putting yourself out of the comfort zone because you will be put in a different kinds of ideology it is up to you whether you accept it or not.
I literally read many Manga and Manhwa this year
Songs I Played The Most: Enchanted, Say You Won’t Let Go, To Be Human, Stay, Starving, How Far I’ll Go, Hard Times, Today My Life Begins, Versace on The Floor, Sparks Fly and Fearless.
It is been along time since I have not post, It feels great that somehow I can still write decently. It is such a stress reliever because every year I have this mental perception that I become sad when my birthday comes that I feel that another year that have been passed and still I still not accomplished anything that is great or achieve my dreams. I’m always putting myself down but now I’m becoming 20 even though I’m becoming older I will uplift myself by doing things I love and somehow achieve my dreams step by step, for now I needed to graduate.
I think this year my greatest achievement are taking Japanese and Mandarin lessons and knowing to myself that I have really big PRIDE, that I needed to take it down again.
It is already 10:04 pm, all I want to say thank you for every people that supports me even though the probability of them reading these is very low. Thank you my God, Thank you for another upcoming adventures of my life.
Now I’m becoming 20, I will, I WILL, I WILL!, let go anything that chains from making me truly happy.
I do not want stop to write but I needed to, so until next time.
I WONT GIVE UP FINDING MY HAPPINESS AND THE BETTER ME.
I finish this post at 10:25 pm.
I just need to calm down, now I’m leaving my teenage years. I will surely miss this but I need to move on and live a happily life. There are so many things I want to do in my teenage yeas but, oh, well, I will do it in my 20′s.
Good luck for me.
Before I like orange because of “Bleach” then Blue because of ‘Percy Jackson” then red because of “RED” and now, green because of “Hero no Academia”.
My “GREEN” which means HOPE, whatever stands or hindrance me, as long as I have HOPE even though I’m drowning I know I can still survive and make it on.
REMINDER TO MYSELF BEFORE I POST THIS: DON’T WORRY JUST HAVE HOPE AND I KNOW YOU CAN MAKE IT. DON’T REGRET JUST LIVE THE REMAINING DAYS OF YOUR LIFE AND MAKE IT MEANINGFUL.

During her formidable teenage years, Heidi had almost chosen to go to William McKinley High School. They had an okay academic and arts program and she lived in the district, but her dad would stand for no such thing. Him and his brother both attended Dalton Academy for most of their teen years and Heidi’s own mother had attended Crawford Country Day and was a crucial member to the Canaries during her own high school years, Heidi’s options were limited and she knew the path her dad wanted for her. She was an Anderson! She was born to sing and act! So, she ended up at Crawford and opting to go for uniforms and rich girl tactics and quickly joined the ranks of the Canaries.
The only problem with Heidi being in the Canaries is cut down to one simple fact - she was simply untalented. She can’t sing, dance, or act very well. This is something her own dad would never say to her, but she’s simply an okay performer. The only real reason she was able to compete and be on the team was because with her extensive background of dance classes and vocal lessons, she can hold a pitch and she can learn choreography and her slight athleticism allowed her to keep up with whatever was thrown at her on the Canaries. It also helped that her dad was a huge booster.
After graduation, Heidi originally had her eyes set on Los Angeles. The sun, her hometown, the gorgeous people, but after visiting New York University on a whim during her senior year, she fell in love with the campus. As much as she wished she had hated it, she didn’t. Now she’s studying at Tisch with a cinema studies major and she’s really happy about it all. Initially, Cooper wasn’t happy with her choice, wanting her to go for something in the dramatics, but he’s come to realize that path might not be for Heidi.
Heidi’s recently started working at her school’s radio. She didn’t mean to, but it provided some extra credits and looks nice on resumes, so she decided to tack her own weekly radio show on. She gets to play whatever music she wants and talk about whatever’s going on in her mind and Heidi’s starting to get really comfortable being in front of the mic every Tuesday.
