what drugs have you done your cool research stuff on specifically? i'd love to learn more about some like acid but i'm not sure where to start
acid was the one i did the most research on, specifically about psychosis because as a psychotic person i was... terrified to try acid, and rightfully so.
i’ve found in most communities of people who use a certain drug there are plenty of people amassing research about it together and want to educate on how it effects your brain, body, etc., help newbies not be afraid if they’re committed to trying it, a lot of times the experts really are the ones with a lot of personal experience. i wouldn’t call it “official” but a lot of research for me was checking out forums, youtube videos describing things - both scientifically and from personal account, i think both perspectives are equally important - and reddit is honestly a pretty good resource in that regard. i like the environment that was able to address the concerns and say it was okay to not do it if you don’t want to, but actually providing genuine good advice for the ones who will.
i spent a lot of time figuring out what the “perfect” experience would be and so the day before i made sure to have a good day, eat well, clean up my house with the friends i was going to do it with, decided to spend the day in the house for safety, because it was all recommended to me consistently by what i read, or of the “options” given like going to a park, having a babysitter, etc. i felt they applied to me best in that way.
i read a few articles on the interaction of psychosis and psychedelics - specifically acid - i can’t remember exactly which ones now, and felt that it was worth a try with a low dose. basically it felt like being very high on edibles but in the opposite direction, upwards and not downwards? like i was light, not heavy. everything was super funny for about 3 hours, then i was relaxed for much longer and we did some art. then for a while my vision had a purple tint and we hung out in the jacuzzi, we had some food, it was a chill day. but i also decided i didn’t want to do it again with a higher dose, probably ever. the fear was so much for me, it didn’t ruin anything because once i took it i just accepted it but the fear i felt before taking acid was enough for me to just not care for it again!
and since doing acid once i’ve talked to more people who’ve also done it, and heard from other people with psychosis around me from personal experience and with their friends that it’s just not worth it and there’s so many other routes you can take that don’t involve acid if you’re psychotic. even other psychedelics like shrooms are different so it’s something to look into. BUT that only really applies to psychosis or a predisposition to it which is harder to pinpoint.
but you can definitely start anywhere! no matter where you start you’ll definitely end up down a rabbit hole and learning new terminology about something the more you go on!

Average adult uses about 1.1 kcal for every minute just to maintain these functions. ✔️Thermic Effect of Food is energy our body uses for digestion of eaten food and drinks. ✔️Physical Activity including all the other extra movements of the body which we use to perform our daily task such as work, house cleaning, exercise, walking, etc. . . 🟢To maintain your weight, you need to have energy intake in balance with energy expenditure, what means to eat as much as our body burns. 🟠To gain weight we need to consume more energy (food) than burn. 🟡And finally, to lose weight you must consume less calories than burn.
