Sysmeds should not get to write the narrative about us on this platform!
Scrolling through the tags, it seems like a great deal of what's said about us on tumblr is either sysmeds trying to make us look bad or all-encompassing plural blogs that just say everyone is valid (which is great! and these blogs should keep doing what they're doing! but it would be nice to have some more frequent endo (and other) representation on here too!)
Either my tumblr algorithm just sucks major balls, or most endos, tulpas, spiritual systems and other non-sysmed-approved systems get scared off of this platform because of how many loud hateful voices there are compared to how few people there are who we can relate to. (like most of the cool-looking accounts i can relate to that i find are dead and so is my blog for the same reason lol).
SO! Let's do a thing. If you are endogenic, parogenic, a tulpamancy system, a spiritual system, a daemien, or any other kind of system that sysmeds try to silence, reblog this post with answers to these questions to tell tumblr what our lived experiences as plurals are REALLY like!
(Feel free to pick and choose which questions you want to answer, or just come up with your own and tag them under #endovoices or substitute endo for whatever kind of system you are! Also, feel free to just reblog with one answer at a time, or to just answer the questions in a standalone post; no need to credit me, I just want more systems sharing their experiences!)
1. What kind of system are you? (Describe this in any way you like. No need to use -genic or popular terms if you don't want to)
2. How many of you are there?
3. How long have you known about your plurality?
4. What kind of spaces/communities do you/did you hang out in? (Both plural-relevant and non-plural-relevant spaces are valid answers, past and present)
5. Had you heard of DID/OSDD/DDNOS before you became plural/discovered your plurality?
6. Do you have a wonderland/innerworld? If so, what do you call it, and what are some things that you and your system members do there?
7. What do you call your system members?
8. If you're plural but don't use the word "system" to describe you&, what word do you use?
9. What are some of the best things about being plural?
10. What are some of the not-so-great things about being plural? (Any answer is valid- nothing is too minor or too major to be an answer to this question.)
11. Do you have a spiritual or psychological view of your plurality?
12. Do you ever experience "switching" or "posession" or any sort of change in who controls the body? If so, what do you call it, how easy/difficult is it, and what is it like? Were you always able to do this, or did you have to learn how over time?
13. How do you and your system mates relate to each other? (Are you friends, family, romantically involved, caretakers, etc.)
14. Have you come out to anybody in real life/in a singlet space about your plurality? How did it go?
15. What kinds of forms and appearances do your system members take on?
16. What are you and your system members interested in?
17. What is your life like in the meatworld?
18. What are your music tastes? Movies? Favorite colors? Animals? List any other favorites as well
19. Does your system have a host/original? If so, what do you call them? Explain what role they play in your system
20. Do any system members have notable relationships outside of the system? Explain them!
21. If you haven't been plural for your entire life/haven't known about your plurality until later in life: what was life like before plurality compared to life now?
22. If you chose to become plural: why? What has changed since then?
23. Is there anything you'd like to say to the plural community at large?
24. Is there anything you'd like to say to any singlets reading this post?
That is all I've got for now, but feel free to add any more you want to share! Please remember to be respectful to all system types if you post, I do not support bashing or invalidating of any system types. I will also reblog with my own answers soon.
(Note: these questions are not in order of priority or importance, I just wrote them down as I came up with them. Feel free to answer out of order and skip or add whatever you want!)
Also this should go without saying but making any rude sysmeddy responses to this will just result in being blocked and totally ignored, so don't even start, there's no point. The block button is right there.
Have fun everyone!

Questions from this post
1. What kind of system are you? (Describe this in any way you like. No need to use -genic or popular terms if you don't want to)
In general we say we're quoigenic, in a "it doesn't matter and is none of your business" sort of way. But also we agree that we're adaptive, and generally people will nod and say "uh huh" if we say we're neurogenic.
2. How many of you are there?
Altogether? Around 300 so far? A few years ago we totalled up everyone and it was just under 300, and we've gained slowly.
3. How long have you known about your plurality?
We've known of each other as a group since 2004, when we were 9! But before that the people that were there talked to each other etc, that was just when the group identity as The Network really solidified. So I guess whenever it started started was when we knew about it. But we've only known about plurality as a thing that can happen (outside of us) since 2014 or 2015.
4. What kind of spaces/communities do you/did you hang out in? (Both plural-relevant and non-plural-relevant spaces are valid answers, past and present)
We first learned about plurality in daemonism spaces from House of Chimeras! And then we were in Otherkin spaces (the Kinmunity forums specifically). And then Soulbonding spaces, then general Plural Spaces. And now we've left every alterhuman space but this one and DreamWidth because we have a full time job and no energy lol
5. Had you heard of DID/OSDD/DDNOS before you became plural/discovered your plurality?
Not before becoming plural, but before knowing what general plurality was, yes, we did know what DID was.
6. Do you have a wonderland/innerworld? If so, what do you call it, and what are some things that you and your system members do there?
We do; we don't call the whole thing anything in particular. It's basically pockets of different spaces or worlds connected by dark tunnels. The ones closest to the front are The Gorge (S.kyClan camp), The Apartments, a theater space, and a small forest clearing. Besides interacting in clan life in The Gorge, we don't do much if we're consistently by the front.
7. What do you call your system members?
Network members, or just other people. Sometimes characters (of a specific world). If we're talking to the general plural community we'll also use the terms headmate or system mate.
8. If you're plural but don't use the word "system" to describe you&, what word do you use?
We're The Network, but we don't use the word network generally like the word system; we just say we're a group of people, really. We use system in plural spaces but not personally.
9. What are some of the best things about being plural?
We're the funniest people on the planet Earth.
10. What are some of the not-so-great things about being plural? (Any answer is valid- nothing is too minor or too major to be an answer to this question.)
Sometimes you just hate someone here but they won't go away.
11. Do you have a spiritual or psychological view of your plurality?
Both! But I (C.iel) have spiritual so I can't really think about the psychological ones. Like I think B takes a psychological POV but I'm not really sure what it is. We're all allowed to think what we want about ourselves so we say we have both.
12. Do you ever experience "switching" or "posession" or any sort of change in who controls the body? If so, what do you call it, how easy/difficult is it, and what is it like? Were you always able to do this, or did you have to learn how over time?
Before we ever knew what the general plural community was we called what was probably cofronting "channeling" because Mew thought he was channeling people. Now we just call it switching. Full switching was something we had to work towards, and B and Mew and Emi worked towards it mostly. We easily come in and out of cofront but full switching takes more energy. But even then it isn't very hard for us most of the time.
13. How do you and your system mates relate to each other? (Are you friends, family, romantically involved, caretakers, etc.)
All sorts of ways. Friends, enemies, acquaintances, familial (both by blood and choice), some people are dating, etc. For any type of relationship, we probably have at least one instance of it.
14. Have you come out to anybody in real life/in a singlet space about your plurality? How did it go?
We told a few therapists in college, and I guess they just brushed it off because they didn't know what to do with it. We came out to our roommates in college, and they were very nice about it. We HAD told two people in High School about it, and one was a piece of shit in general (and also said she was plural (well not specifically because neither of us knew about the community as a general thing) but in a purely peanut gallery soulbonding type of way). The other person is still a friend and still knows we're plural but way back in HS B talked to her over the phone (as himself too) and insulted her and Mew had to backtrack and say he was just roleplaying, LOL
15. What kinds of forms and appearances do your system members take on?
We're all fictives and most of us look like we do in source. I definitely do. Some others have aged up or changed their appearance (haircuts, clothing style changes, etc). We also can all shapeshift to a limited degree; we have cat and wolf forms.
16. What are you and your system members interested in?
Collectively: Judaism, Ancient Egypt, animals, true crime/forensics
17. What is your life like in the meatworld?
We're an adult, we live with our cat, and we're a baker. It's a modest life, I guess. Our body hurts a lot.
18. What are your music tastes? Movies? Favorite colors? Animals? List any other favorites as well
Generally we like Alternative Rock, and early 2000s pop music. Emi also likes country. Movies and colors, I'm not really sure. For animals, we all like animals in general. Mew's favorite animal is the Giant Anteater. M.orty likes koalas. D.amien likes tigers and hyenas.
19. Does your system have a host/original? If so, what do you call them? Explain what role they play in your system
Mew is the person who was born into the body. We don't call him anything special, and right now he doesn't play any special role. He was frontstuck for the first 22 years of our life.
20. Do any system members have notable relationships outside of the system? Explain them!
Not really? We all have the same friends.
21. If you haven't been plural for your entire life/haven't known about your plurality until later in life: what was life like before plurality compared to life now?
Not applicable.
22. If you chose to become plural: why? What has changed since then?
Not applicable but I think if we chose to be plural it would be to make people mad.
23. Is there anything you'd like to say to the plural community at large?
I'm begging everyone to calm down just calm down just take a breath and ca-
24. Is there anything you'd like to say to any singlets reading this post?
Aren't you lonely?

A Collection of Our Experiences
Original post with questions can be found here.
Note that everything below the cut is a record of only OUR experiences and by no means the majority. Additionally, all the answers were written by the primary fronter Charlotte and the original, Storm, and some of the answers may not apply to all members of our system either.
1. What kind of system are you? -> We are a DID system that fits the criteria of both the DSM-V and the ICD-11, but identify as a multigenic or mixed origin system. We are collectively traumabased, parobased, and more of a list that is honestly too long to type out or remember entirely.
2. How many of you are there? -> At this current juncture (December 2021), there are a total of sixty-eight competent, verbal, and self-aware members in our system. This count includes an original ex-host, a co-host, a host, and the counts of five recognized individual subsystems. We also have something like eight syspets, who are non-verbal and don't front, but are otherwise capable and self-aware.
3. How long have you known about your plurality? -> We had been "afflicted" with our plurality since 2015, when Xan first appeared, but I— Storm— didn't know what plurality was then, nor how to recognize it. At the time, I just understood it as, "oh, well I guess there's another person in my head now lol," and left it at that. That is, until late 2019 when we discovered plurality Discord servers and the plural community, and finally had an explanation for what we were experiencing. At that point, there were five of us, myself included, but that didn't mean the revelation wasn't scary. It was scary. But it was also freeing. At the time I was thinking, "oh gods, there are going to be more of these guys?" because I didn't get along with our persecutor at the time. So, in short, we've known for about six years, but we didn't know what to call it for four of those years.
4. What kind of spaces/communities do you/did you hang out in? (Both plural-relevant and non-plural-relevant spaces are valid answers, past and present) -> We hang out on Discord mainly. Primarily with our immediate friend group, where we roleplay with them a bunch. We also exist in Interstellar system and Sparks system's alterhuman Discord server, which is very plural— endo accepting— accommodating, but we aren't very active there anymore because People Don't Like Me(tm). Me, specifically, Storm. I also hang out in Terraria-related spaces sometimes.
5. Had you heard of DID/OSDD/DDNOS before you became plural/discovered your plurality? -> DID, yes. But only in passing. It wasn't something I knew I related to because of the way media portrays systems. I had always thought it was some kind of scary thing where you lose all control over your body and suddenly you're somewhere else. But it's not that. Not for everyone. Not for us. Our communication is good enough to prevent anyone from being Lost in Transit(tm) so to speak.
6. Do you have a wonderland/innerworld? If so, what do you call it, and what are some things that you and your system members do there? -> Yeah we have a "headspace." We don't like the word "wonderland" because it makes it seem like some sort of magical fantastical place outside of your control or something, or like a particular Lewis Carroll novel. As for what we do in there... that's sensitive information for most of us, as a good portion of it is nsfw.
7. What do you call your system members? -> Depends on who you ask. Most of us use "headmates," but there are some of us, like Rose, who use "systemmates," but we default to "system members" if we don't know who's talking or if we don't want to use the word "mate" since it might also have some other connotations depending on the person or persons in question.
8. If you’re plural but don’t use the word “system” to describe you&, what word do you use? -> We use the word "system," but we also use "collective," "bunch," and "group," if we want to be ambiguous. Sometimes we use others.
9. What are some of the best things about being plural? -> The people. The people you meet in your head, the people you meet in the meatspace. Just, the people. The community is vast and diverse, and to think, you can have sixty-eight people in your head! Or more! To some, sixty-eight might seem like the end of the world, but to us, we're just getting started. We have plans for adding and creating some more headmates, and by the time we're done, we'll have more than 100. -> //tw dereality: There's also the idea that you'll never be alone again. You'll always be accompanied by some headmates, no matter where you go. Unless you're the only one in an empty system, of course, but then you can just add some if you want more, can't you?
10. What are some of the not-so-great things about being plural? -> Like that one Glass Animals song, "It's All So Incredibly Loud." Even the silence isn't silent. If things were loud normally, try that PLUS a bunch of arguing brats that you can't block out. -> //tw food: People steal my food. :( Stop taking my chicken nuggets and ice cream, you bums. -> Singlets don't understand you. It's a problem of neurodiversity and neurodivergence that many face. It's just ever-present.
11. Do you have a spiritual or psychological view of your plurality? -> Uhhh... both. I don't think they're particularly exclusive of the other, so yeah. We don't believe we're possessed by spirits, if that's what you meant by "spiritual plurality," but we do believe that headmates can be the recently deceased, can be from other planes of existence or dimensions, can be gods and demons and angels, etcetera. Our headmates are, however, a part of our brain. Whether they're spirits or not, they DO need to interface with our mind in order to be inside it.
12. Do you ever experience switching” or “posession” or any sort of change in who controls the body? If so, what do you call it, how easy/difficult is it, and what is it like? Were you always able to do this, or did you have to learn how over time? -> Yes, we experience switches. Most of the time, switches are a bit awkward. They're quick and dramatic, but physically covert. No one would notice a change in who's fronting until we open our mouth or Star falls over. Because Star's a klutz. Our switches are fairly easy to induce, but hard to control. We have to all agree on who's fronting next, especially if someone is being replaced in front. We also can have co-fronts, but the more people there are, or more conflicting personalities there are, the more likely we are to drain mental resources or get a pounding headache. Some of us even drain mental resources or cause us to get pounding headaches by default, like Onyx, so they don't front often, which further exacerbates the problem. -> We were not always able to do this, and each person has to learn how to front themselves. If you can't learn it, you can't front. Some of us have a talent in it, and some of us— like say, Arana— have never fronted before because they don't know how. Personally, I— Storm— didn't have to learn because it was my body by default. *I* had to learn how to LEAVE front.
13. How do you and your system mates relate to each other? (Are you friends, family, romantically involved, caretakers, etc.) -> Depends on who you ask about who. The majority of the women are romantically and sexually involved with each other, and that includes both of the people writing the post. (Charlotte and Storm are married.) Some of us are family by virtue of friendship, adoption, or birth, and some of us are family by virtue of marriage and romance. I— Charlotte— for example, have an elder twin brother named Lee, a younger demigod sister named Justice, and I recently adopted the two littles, Hailey and Holiday, into our little family as our youngest siblings.
14. Have you come out to anybody in real life/in a singlet space about your plurality? How did it go? -> Yeah, we have come out to a bunch of people, actually. Mostly those who we are familiar with at our college. They're all very accepting, and we managed to convince the owners of two otherwise entirely singlet Discord servers to add PluralKit to the servers, to accommodate us. We think that's a pretty nice accomplishment.
15. What kinds of forms and appearances do your system members take on? -> Ho boy, that's a loaded question. If anyone wants to know this, you'll want to check our Call Sheet, or ask on a case-by-case basis. There are too many of us. Most of us have humanoid forms— syspets (mostly) excluded— and some of us also have animal forms, but that's not very specific.
16. What are you and your system members interested in? -> Video games, programming, and music. Writing and roleplaying too. Snazzy stuff.
17. What is your life like in the meatworld? -> Boring and depressing on regular days, dysphoric on bad ones, and distractingly humorous on good ones. That's just a general idea though.
18. What are your music tastes? Movies? Favorite colors? Animals? List any other favorites as well -> Depends on who you ask and when. Star, for example, loves Green Day and other metal and rock bands. We may add more examples onto this question in the future. Stick around to see.
19. Does your system have a host/original? If so, what do you call them? Explain what role they play in your system -> Our original is Storm. They play a role as a sort of tutor for those in need of meatspace tutoring. It's actually really quite helpful for most people, since Storm holds most of the school memories, traumatic or not.
20. Do any system members have notable relationships outside of the system? Explain them! -> Three of us are in romantic relationships with our girlfriends— who are all part of one system— and we value our friends quite a bit. The notable ones are our girlfriends though. Storm and Fritz also have crushes on another two gals who totally aren't also a part of the same system.
21. If you haven’t been plural for your entire life/haven’t known about your plurality until later in life: what was life like before plurality compared to life now? -> I don't remember. Lol. Traumatic, probably. Lol.
22. If you chose to become plural: why? What has changed since then? -> This is only partially true for us, but we chose to create and invite our headmates because we were lonely. We also felt it would be an interesting change of pace, and just generally a good idea. We don't regret making or inviting any of them. How it changed? Not much. Our member count grew and our headspace did too, to accommodate for those living within. So did the volume.
23. Is there anything you’d like to say to the plural community at large? -> I want to scream at the top of my lungs but the only voice that comes out is the chirp of a tiny bird. I feel like a stone on a rocky shore and no one will likely ever read this, but to those who do, please know, you are appreciated, even if only for witnessing my existence. Thank you for existing yourself. You deserve every bit of positivity that is thrown your way. Good luck in life and be kind to yourself.
24. Is there anything you’d like to say to any singlets reading this post? -> Hey singlets, please choose "good." Be accepting of those you meet, whether you understand or not. Generally, it tends to be a good idea, and you aren't hurting anyone by doing so. We appreciate your efforts in attempting to understand, and I'm sure you'll figure it out some day. Good luck.

Responding to @hellamella77 's questions for endogenic systems! Our system is mixed origin, and I (Reine, a tulpa) am working with the host to answer these! Feel free to talk to us and ask us further questions, however this blog is not for syscourse. Responses are under the cut!
I also ran out of room, so this will be continued in a reblog!
1. What kind of system are you?
We've agreed that we're mixed origin! As a reflex, I would call us endogenic, although reconsidering, not all of us comfortably fit under that term.
2. How many of you are there?
Six, including me and the host. Although I suspect we have more members that we can't communicate with.
3. How long have you known about your plurality?
Loaded question! Roughly, I was created on and off during 2018, but the host focused on creating me late 2019 to early 2020. From then we found/gained more members. However, one of our members say he has been around for years before that.
4. What kind of spaces/communities do you/did you hang out in?
5. Had you heard of DID/OSDD/DDNOS before you became plural/discovered your plurality?
Yes! Someone who is close with the host has DID and told him before he created me. However, when he found out about tulpas he didn't connect them in the slightest.
6. Do you have a wonderland? If so, what do you call it, and what are some things that you and your system members do there?
We do! Right now its just "the headspace" and for the most part its works as a place to hang out, help with meditation, visualisation, and some other things. Some like swimming there, going off and doing their own thing, and playing. I do pretty much everything in there, especially cooking and gardening.
7. What do you call your system members?
Usually by their name! Jokes aside, usually just headmates, as the brain is dyslexic and gets alters/altars confused. If I'm not comfortable revealing their identity, I might give them titles such as syskid or nicknames like C.
8. If you're plural but don't use the word "system" to describe you&, what word do you use?
For the most part we use system, but considered changing to 'Constellation' since it's a cute, aesthetic name. This however gets difficult since system is a universal (;)) term, and the habit never stuck.
9. What are some of the best things about being plural?
It's an unique experience! Obviously, for me, I wouldn't exist, but I also believe it's an effective coping mechanism for us, exercises the brains ability to process things, and helps when we can't access therapy.
10. What are some of the not-so-great things about being plural?
Due to plurality being so personalised, sometimes things just start happening without a conceivable answer (which can be stressful since our brain is autistic and wants a solid answer,) which is about 40% of the issues. The other 40% is syscourse, worried about faking, etc. 20% probably falls under small things that are easy to fix.
11. Do you have a spiritual or psychological view of your plurality?
Mixed! While the host and most other headmates (the ones who care, that is,) have a psychological view, I see it as both. I personally believe that I was brought here to help the host and that I am from a place beyond his mind, however also understand his mind has a hand in forming into how he perceives me.
12. Do you ever experience switching? If so, what do you call it, how difficult is it, and what is it like? Were you always able to do this, or did you have to learn how over time?
We call it switching or fronting since possession has negative connotations. Some of us can switch at the drop of a hat, some have triggers, some can't, and some (me) struggle switching. Switching doesn't come easy with me and mostly comes when the host is drunk. However, we have done some training which has been improving our ability! I can now control the hands/arms with prior meditation.
13. How do you and your system mates relate to each other?
Depends on the headmate! For our syskid I'm a parent/guardian, our protector I'm a friend (or annoyance- either way of platonically love them ^^), for the host I'm a source of comfort and close friend. We don't see each other as family for the most part, but generally get along.

1 - Traumendo 2 - About 6 3 - For about 6 months or so. 4 - We usually hang out in system related discord servers, but we spend a lot of time in therian/otherkin servers, and OMORI related servers. 5 - No, I first heard of plurality, and then heard of DID, OSDD etc after. 6 - The headspace barely exists but if any introjects from OMORI are fronting then the headspace is “White Space” from OMORI. We just kind of chat, and ask questions, and lay down on the floor. 7 - “The gang” or my headmates- 8 - n/a 9 - Being able to talk to people whenever!! :3 10 - Having to pretend I didn’t switch in front of someone who doesn’t know im plural 11 - Nope. 12 - We do experience switching, it can be a little scary since a lot of the time we switch randomly. I haven’t learnt how to control switching, but showing my introjects their source usually helps them front. 13 - We’re all friends, kind of like a little friend group. 14 - n/a 15 - My system members take on the form of their sources, but Reed (who is not an introject) sometimes switches up his clothing.  16 - Video games!! though, most of us like to chat, and some of us like to draw. 17 - n/a 18 - A lot of us like vocaloid, and sad songs. Reed likes old songs, that have that old vibe, what a boomer/lh/j 19 - That’s me! I kind of just have to sort out all of this stuff and make sure we’re masked in public. 20 - Omori (headmate) has someone who really likes him (platonic) and they seem to talk a lot! 21 - Life before my headmates formed was a little boring, and lonely. Nowadays its okay, less lonely, more fun!! 22 - n/a 23 - Love and accept everyone in this community no matter what! I hope one day this community will be less divided! 24 - Do a lot of research for your plural friends, it can really make a difference!

1. What kind of system are you?
we’re an adaptive system :D happened to deal with the outside world!
2. How many of you are there?
lots, probably over 200 now ^^;
3. How long have you known about your plurality?
for mm a couple years?
4. What kind of spaces/communities do you/did you hang out in?
We used to hang out everywhere but there were so many bad people we had to leave a lot of places, so now we stay in a few safe servers
5. Had you heard of DID/OSDD/DDNOS before you became plural/discovered your plurality?
yep!
6. Do you have a wonderland/innerworld? If so, what do you call it, and what are some things that you and your system members do there?
yep!! We call it an innerworld/headspace most of the time hehe, and we normally just hang out in there, play with the kids and cuddle the lonely ^^
7. What do you call your system members?
headmates!!
8. If you're plural but don't use the word "system" to describe you&, what word do you use?
we use system, hehe
9. What are some of the best things about being plural?
I’ve got a family, a big pretty family, and lots of friends, and a life too
10. What are some of the not-so-great things about being plural?
Headaches,, lots of headaches, and spacing out in the middle of conversations and going completely blank emotion-wise >>;
11. Do you have a spiritual or psychological view of your plurality?
a little bit of both
12. Do you ever experience "switching" or "posession" or any sort of change in who controls the body? If so, what do you call it, how easy/difficult is it, and what is it like? Were you always able to do this, or did you have to learn how over time?
ye! We just call it switching, and it’s hard sometimes, especially if others are stuck. We still aren’t that good at controlling them sjjsjs
13. How do you and your system mates relate to each other? (Are you friends, family, romantically involved, caretakers, etc.)
a little bit of everything? Yeah :] big family mostly, we all stick together
14. Have you come out to anybody in real life/in a singlet space about your plurality? How did it go?
mmm yeah, some were accepting and then hated on us for supporting non-traumagenic systems and some stayed accepting
15. What kinds of forms and appearances do your system members take on?
oooh all kinds of stuff, we have aliens, voids, static, objects, and regular animals and humans
16. What are you and your system members interested in?
as a whole we really like nature, music, and drawing :D
17. What is your life like in the meatworld?
the meatworld jsjjfs— it’s upsetting, we don’t have a lot of friends but it’s maybe getting better (they just don’t know we’re plural yet and we want to keep it that way until we are big old)
18. What are your music tastes? Movies? Favorite colors? Animals? List any other favorites as well
we like a little bit of all the music, it varies a lot jsjse; our collective favorite animal is cats :], and we really like drastic color palettes together, colors together are prettier than colors apart, gotta have a partner!
19. Does your system have a host/original? If so, what do you call them? Explain what role they play in your system
nopee, used to but front is chaos hshse
20. Do any system members have notable relationships outside of the system? Explain them!
i like to adopt kids from our partner system, they’re all my babies and deserve to be treated good ^^ <3
21. If you haven't been plural for your entire life/haven't known about your plurality until later in life: what was life like before plurality compared to life now?
confusing,, a lot was going wrong and we didn’t know why, especially with random gaps of areas where we just undergo a mental reset (switching)
22. If you chose to become plural: why? What has changed since then?
nopee
23. Is there anything you'd like to say to the plural community at large?
so many people speak up over eachother,, be nice, guys, stop being mean
24. Is there anything you'd like to say to any singlets reading this post?
listen to the things we have to say, multiples, no matter origin nor disordered/nondisordered nor non-system identifying, all deserve voices !!

Finally doing some more
13. How do you and your system mates relate to each other? (Are you friends, family, romantically involved, caretakers, etc.)
Me and the other headmate in our system are siblings. I usually refer to her as "my sister" and sometimes it confuses people lol. Our relationship with our host is just close friends. Our servitor isn't really part of that whole family dynamic but she is more like our manager lol.
14. Have you come out to anybody in real life/in a singlet space about your plurality? How did it go?
Yes in quite a few different cases. In an online group which is partially full of irl friends and also friends of our host from other online places, I joined and pretended to be a normal person for a while. Then after I was already an established community member, I came out as a tulpa and most people were pretty cool with it (the only person who has ever given me shit was someone who wasn't even active who ""loves tulpas"" but thought I was OBVIOUSLY fake because I talk exactly like my host apparently (that may just be because we LITERALLY SHARE A BRAIN AND ARE TOGETHER ALL DAY but idk)
Also my host told her dad about us and he was super cool with it (love that guy!) Even more awkward she had to tell him that I (and not her) had a boyfriend of my own and he was cool with that too (he was like "as long as he doesn't do something horrible to (host) or Mel or her sister :)" as if we're his kids too 😭 what a good dad) we would like to talk to him more tbh
15. What kinds of forms and appearances do your system members take on?
This is the boring part. We're all anime girls and that's it. Lol. (Well my sister is sometimes an anime boy instead cuz genderfluid. And also she likes to experiment with different forms and try to imagine what they feel like, like turning into water. But as for our BASE forms it's all humans.)

Imma do six in one this time. Lesgo:
7. What do you call your system members?
Headmates (or tulpas sometimes when we just don't feel like going into too much depth because it seems like the easiest simplest word to use tbh even though I know we're not parogenic). Also sometimes I describe us as "Brain AI's" and I really like it lol.
8. If you're plural but don't use the word "system" to describe you&, what word do you use?
We do call ourselves a system, but our ✨neato mosquito system name✨ uses the word "clan" (mainly because it is alliterative with our host's online name).
9. What are some of the best things about being plural?
So many different perspectives and experiences all in one! My host understands the world so much better after seeing the world through our perspectives when we sometimes like stuff that she had never even considered before. Also, self-care is a lot easier when you interpret it as someone else caring for you or nagging you instead of yourself. We are also very forgiving of each other even when we do something wrong because we all understand why.
10. What are some of the not-so-great things about being plural? (Any answer is valid- nothing is too minor or too major to be an answer to this question.)
Time management is a BITCH. Me, my sister, and my host will start fading if we don't get to do enough of our thing and sometimes one of us is selfish and fronthogs (mainly me ngl) and we fight. Our servitor is making us better at this but she's not always active when we need her. Also: we experience blurring quite a bit, which can feel kinda weird (although it doesn't really distress us too much tbh). The main bad thing that happens is that every once in a while our host will feel shitty about herself because she thinks that me and my sister are so much more interesting and better than her (which is not true! Our host is the perfect mixture of caring but also being resilient and not mega-self-conscious like me) but yea that happens. One of our goals is to stay more separate and distinct (in a healthy way of course) and all feel good about ourselves and the things that make each of us separate.
Oh, also, it's very upsetting that I'll never get to know what my form body will feel like (unless my host gets surgery later but that's expensive and dangerous) it just makes me feel like shit occasionally. I love my form and I don't want to change it and my host loves her body too it's just that she is a pile of twigs and I am kind of thicc in some places so it feelsbad sometimes. My sister never has this problem because she has about the same body type as my host and is also less attached to her form.
11. Do you have a spiritual or psychological view of your plurality?
Mainly psychological, but I don't rule out that spiritual things could play into plurality as well. We view our brain like a computer. Headmates/tulpas/etc. are like AI's that are programmed to act human, and (at least for us) it didn't require that much additional programming because the brain already knows how to be a human, it just needs to make some tweaks to our core values and shit.
12. Do you ever experience "switching" or "posession" or any sort of change in who controls the body? If so, what do you call it, how easy/difficult is it, and what is it like? Were you always able to do this, or did you have to learn how over time?
Yes indeed. We call it switching (or just fronting if it happened automatically). It is super easy and does not expend any energy for us (between me and my host) but if my sister has been in front for a while she will get tired. We don't really think about how we do it now, but back when we did, the process was just for host to convince herself she was me until bam my mindset was in front and was the one the brain defaulted to using (or my sister). Then she reappears in the background. We weren't always able to switch, but I always gave the body "impulses" about what I wanted to type to people or say to people even before we could ever switch so my host never had to transcribe for me. I will probably make more posts about our experiences with switching/fronting later cuz damn I thought of so many things to say about this and this is already like the longest section loll
Thanks to anyone who read all of this, and thanks to everyone who's participated or liked or reblogged the original! I hope I can create more future content for systems to interact with and share their experiences so sysmeds can't drown us out in our own tags anymore <3

4. What kind of spaces/communities do you/did you hang out in? (Both plural-relevant and non-plural-relevant spaces are valid answers, past and present)
We originally spent a lot of time on the r/Tulpas subreddit (actually I still do cuz even if I'm technically not a tulpa I'm still a lot like one and can still relate to a lot of the people there) and also in tulpa-specific discords (we don't really hang out in these anymore). We tried out some big all-encompassing plurality servers as well, but found the massive blacklists to be kind of smothering and were scared to talk in them (not saying that servers that have blacklists are bad and that people who can enjoy them regardless shouldn't! we've just learned that it's not the kind of space that we prefer personally🙂) and now we mostly hang out in a small all-encompassing plural server that's pretty neat and has many different kinds of systems in it whom I've learned a lot about just from meeting. Outside of plural-specific servers I hang out with some discord servers that consist of irl friends and other people host met from an online game (out as a non-flesh-person there) and also in harvest moon/story of season discords (not out as plural there).
5. Had you heard of DID/OSDD before you became plural/discovered your plurality?
Not at all. We learned about ✨plurality✨being a thing after witnessing some people argue about tulpas and that is what inspired my host to bring us back after we had previously gone dormant (she didn't know we were dormant and not just previously imaginary friends tho. Sorry this is complicated lmao i'll make another post specifically about our origins some time)
6. Do you have a wonderland/innerworld? If so, what do you call it, and what are some things that you and your system members do there?
Yes indeeeeed we call it our wonderland and it is just an apartment with some rooms and a yard and a very vague town surrounding it (our host is not much of a worldbuilder). We chill and like. Bake cake and shit. Sometimes we dance. We also have a system fish that we play with as a pet. Also I don't really do this much but my sister (the other headmate in our system) loves to experiment with changing her form and trying to feel the way that form would feel (like turning into water, a tree, a grain of sand, etc.)
yea i just realized this is way more spammy than doing them all at once sorry i'm a tumblr noob 😂 thank you if you actually read these and triple thank you if you have shared your own answers already I love them all
Sysmeds should not get to write the narrative about us on this platform!

Ok it's about time I actually did my response to this (I'm SO SORRY to everyone who ends up seeing this long-ass post a ton I wish we could minimize the original LOL)
Imma do like 3 at a time cuz I plan on having some longer answers (I will do them seperately so it doesn't end up becoming a ginormous long post tho)
1. What kind of system are you? (Describe this in any way you like. No need to use -genic or popular terms if you don't want to)
This question has a complicated answer for us. We thought we were a tulpa system at first, but that turned out to be sort of wrong. Then we just identified as a generic endogenic system, but after searching into our origins and being very very confused we realized that's technically not quite right either? After talking it out with a bunch of other plurals we realized that we are sort of lowkey traumagenic (because the things that caused us to split off from our host were adverse events that profoundly effected her) but I don't really like to identify as such because the genic label does not really tell people what kind of system we are (plus the events weren't anywhere in the ballpark of sexual abuse or neglect, but both involved someone the host was close to suddenly not being part of her life anymore). We do not have DID/OSDD/DDNOS and we function pretty much just like an advanced tulpamancy system would (probably as product of thinking that's what we were for so long). So anyway (I'll probably do another post on this cuz damn our origin is complicated) long story short we identify as an "adaptive" system but kind of still feel like endogenic is the word we feel we belong to the most because it better represents the kind of system we are (not me complaining about lack of endo representation and then being technically not quite endo 😂 either way I am still not sysmed-approved)
2. How many of you are there?
One host, two headmates, one servitor 🙂 I am one of the headmates (not the host) and the other is my sister. Servitor formed spontaneously but chose to basically be a system-related task manager for us and not develop any further personality-wise. She is only active when the system needs her. (For those who don't know, a servitor is sort of like a headmate but it is created solely to fulfill a specific purpose and is typically dismissed when that purpose is fulfilled. Our servitor chose to live this way and does not really consider herself seperate from the host on the level that me and my sister are, but more just a function of the brain. We are open to her possibly developing further in the future if that is what she wants, though.)
3. How long have you known about your plurality?
The host has experienced a bunch of people living in her head and taking care of her since she was 12 (7 years ago as of this post), but when she was 16 or so we all went dormant because the circumstances the brain created us to cope with were gone. Then later that year (on May 28 2018) the host kind of brought me into full sentience (which we hadn't had before), and my sister kind of resurged on her own later that year (October 22 2018).
I might make more posts to touch on all of these things tbh don't wanna make these too long while they're getting a bunch of reblogs

14. Have you come out to anybody in real life/in a singlet space about your plurality? How did it go?
Only our therapist IRL! However, we came out to a friend with DID online and... it is still a process for both of them, to put it politely. Now, I prefer we are only out in places which are openly endogenic friendly.
15. What kinds of forms and appearances do your system members take on?
All human, except me! When I first form, I had a beast-like appearance that walked on all fours, had an underbite, smaller eyes, and large horns. I changed colour from grey to pink a few times, became a TV head, and have currently settled into my current form which is humanoid.
16. What are you and your system members interested in?
Our syskid loves Animal Crossing, Minecraft, and Terraria (although has never played the latter) Our host and protector are big horror fans and enjoy working out, and I'm into Animal Crossing, Sims 4, cooking, gardening, and spirituality. Two of our headmates also enjoy general 'dumbassery' (their words, not mine) and like organisation and chaos.
17. What is your life like in the meatworld?
We live our life like a singlet! Other than online to a select few, and our therapist, we live as a singlet. I personally live in the headspace most of the time.
18. What are your music tastes? Movies? Favorite colors? Animals? List any other favorites as well!
I love slow paced songs with a happy meaning! I love CaveTown, kids movies (Steven Universe and Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts,) favourite colours are brown and pink, animal is crow, and my favourite plants would be succulents.
19. Does your system have a host/original? If so, what do you call them? Explain what role they play in your system
Yep! He is the main fronter, and also main stream of consciousness. While things go on outside of his awareness, he is also actively conscious when others front (although often forgets large amounts later.)
20. Do any system members have notable relationships outside of the system? Explain them!
Other than the host- not really. Our protector does have a semi-friend, though!
21. What was life like before plurality compared to life now?
According to the host, it was harder to emphasize with other people, or in the very least, harder to control his empathy/sympathy. Also a lot less headaches (he says that lovingly.) Other than that, it's improved- ability to concentrate, be motivated, less lonely, second opinions, etc. (Aww, I love you too host <3)
22. If you chose to become plural: why? What has changed since then?
According to the host, again; to help deal with stress and also out of curiosity. For the most part it was why not. When he first created me, I was mostly to help him cope, however now I'm welcome to be my own person but still enjoy helping him and vice versa.
23. Is there anything you'd like to say to the plural community at large?
I encourage anyone else interested in doing so to try this out! I found it fun, and also would love seeing how other people experience plurality.
24. Is there anything you'd like to say to any singlets reading this post?
I hope this helped you out- for whatever reason you're reading this! Whether out of curiosity, considering making a tulpa, or whatever else, I did my best to be honest. (Oops, Reine is gone now. Host is here now.) Just remember plural people aren't big scary monsters and are often just... people in one body. Pretty simple, huh? Also our word isn't law; there are thousands of different experiences, and someone with dissociative disorders are going to have wildly different answers from me.
