Or so Aoi Kiriya believes. Alongside her best friend Ichigo, Aoi decides to apply for the prestigious private school in hopes of living up to the praise of the biggest idol in the world: Mizuki Kanzaki. As they journey through the numerous laughs, friendships, and heartbreaks that await them, can the two girls light up the lives of others as Mizuki has done for them?

Whether it be chopping down Christmas trees, traversing obstacle courses, or even rock climbing, there's always a playful new adventure to be found in the world of Aikatsu!.

Shibuki Ran and Oozora Akari supremacy!!!

They have good amazing songs, in my opinion.

The improvement of the CGI was astounding. <3

Still can't forget these moments:

Soleil's performances of Diamond Happy, especially the first one! Their debut had me in tears, the rest gave me chills.

Renewed Tristar with Yurika-sama. IT'S NOT THAT I'M SAYING THAT MY QUEEN RAN IS INFERIOR TO YURIKA. It's just that I think Ran fits in Soleil better because she should be with her besties, and Yurika's aura fits Tristar better.

Sumire's failed Special Appeal in the Starlight Queen Cup. (She's still a queen though. 💅)

Akari's winning performance in the Starlight Queen Cup! The chills I had watching her perform. From the clumsy girl who made mistakes in her audition to this ✨️star✨️... (ToT)

Will I rewatch? Probably not because it's rather long. But I might go back to watch some episodes. But there's no doubt that I would watch the performances every now and then!

Yu Yu Hakusho Music Battle Edition 3 ~Makai Densetsu~ (1994)

「 幽★遊★白書 」 ミュージックバトル編 3 〜魔界伝説〜

This album contains some of the characters image songs related to the Makai Arc. I really like “Dark Side Stories”, Shigeru Nakahara’s (Youko) voice blending with Hiei’s is amazing. “Eternal Requiem” is like a love song from Itsuki to Sensui, the instrumental part sounds a real requiem. Yomi’s image song is such a beautiful lament on how he spent a millennium without his sight. For lyrics and their translations, I recommend animelyrics, the fandom did a great job!

I just found out about the Aikatsu 5th anniversary special where the main characters’ voice actresses were interviewed, and I’m watching it now... it’s wonderful.

When they were all discussing their favorite songs from the show, Shino Shinoji brought up Melody of the Heart, the song Akari sings in the performance where she manages her first special appeal, saying, “It was just so amazing. Also, this is just my opinion, but the lyrics are like a love song. I get the feeling it’s for Ichigo-chan.”

Ruka Endou, who provides Akari’s vocals, immediately chimed in to say that she feels the same way.

Shino continued, “Whenever I hear it, I can feel the tears welling... I remember how Akari was back then, and it inspires me to work even harder.”
