What is Enderal..? (explain like I was 6)

It's a total conversion Skyrim mod, meaning that it uses Skyrim as an engine, but has a unique gameplay, setting, story, characters and visuals. Basically it's a stand alone game but you need to own Skyrim to play it.

As to what kind of game it is, it's an rpg with a very heavy focus on the story, heavily philosophical in nature (especially Jungian philosophy), and also character stories often deal with ptsd, various disorders and disabilities. Gameplay-wise it's kinda similar to Gothic, for me it's difficult but cheating is easy 🥹

It also has romances that are kinda akin to Bioware romances (they're optional, but with a nice development across acts); these two are romancable:

Can I also add that in my opinion it's so well written that I read most of the in-game books. It just has this compelling way of storytelling :D

Now I'm plaing for a phasmalist again, this is my third prophet

They are from left to right: a psychologically unstable young scientist, a widow-huntress with the character of a caring mom and a rabid werewolf pirate

It's funny that I'm writing a little fan fiction on Enderal not about Tarael and the prophet-scientist, whom I ship, but with a huntress, because who but a wonderful woman with a big heart will help rehabilitate after such a shit

Послушав эту песню впервые, я удивилась тому, как идеально её строчки ложатся на одноимённый квест… Мне захотелось представить, как внутри Калии разгорается целая буря, когда она узнаёт правду своём происхождении. Подсобил Даль'Галар дочурке, ничего не скажешь! Эндерал прямо-таки богат на истории, где слова "отец" и "разочарование" упоминаются в одном предложении.

When I listened to this song for the first time, I was surprised how perfectly its lyrics fit into this quest… I can only imagine how a whole storm flared up inside Kalia when she learned the truth about her origin. Dal'Galar is real hero, can't say more! And Enderal is truly rich in stories where the words "father" and "disappointment" are mentioned in the same sentence.
