That speech from Anton Lesser kills me every single time- and especially today

I wish we could hear Shaun sing (or maybe not… I seem to think he’s admitted somewhere in an interview that he’s not much of a singer…but even so)

Also- is it just me imagining things - or does Shaun say that final line with more of his usual voice/scouse twang than usual?? The emotion of it all perhaps?

Also can I just add a huge thank you to everyone on here- your comments and tags and sense of fun has cheered me up so much today, I can’t tell you 😘

I'm a bit obsessed with this interview of Shaun Evans. Such a delightful read. Just sounds like two people introduced at a party and having a great first conversation. Honestly, most of this interview is just him asking the interviewer questions. About bookstores! He sounds like such a genuinely sweet guy.

I'm watching Endeavour again and I can't believe it has so many details that when I first watched it I didn't notice them.

I think Endeavour has a really hard work behind the scenes, and everything is planned as if it was an extraordinary theatre play—a Shakespeare's one. Every episode is as dramatic as the Opera, complicated as the crosswords are.

I'm in love with this series.

Okay. I'm considering writing a little post-finale fanfic about my favorite Endeavour side characters (very cautiously cause I'm not a native speaker and keep most of the staff to myself). So-o. What are your headcanons about Max DeBryn and/or Dorothea Frazil?

I am genuinely interested, even if I end up writing nothing like I usually do. Feel free to respond in the comments, reblogs, asks, whatever.

I'll start: I think Dorothea is somehow connected to Lix Storm from the Hour. Maybe they covered France together, but after the WW2, Dorothea returned to local journalism and Lix stayed in London.
