you know what? normalize ruthlessly mocking men’s interests completely unprovoked the same way they’ve spent years mocking pumpkin spice lattes and pop music and animal crossing and the sims and every other completely harmless thing women often enjoy. I Love Revenge
#this was inspired by a tiktok with millions of likes of a man making fun of women for liking the sims#they think every interest we have is intellectually inferior and thus worthy of never ending scorn#radblr#radical feminism#radical feminists please touch#radical feminists do interact

Let them call you a racist or white supremacists, but don’t ever stop hating on Islam. Islamophobia is not racism. Your anti-islamic views are a threat to the islamic imperialism. There’s a whole reason why muslims hate on western culture and promote their own islamic culture while enjoying the privileges of living in west like the hypocrites they are. Just like their jihadi prophet, their agenda is to colonise the entire west and convert it into another muslim regime, otherwise they wouldn’t be migrating to the western countries with deep filled hatred towards western culture.

HEY PLEASE READ !!
if you guys AT ALL enjoy using the internet whether it's for news, entertainment, or communication purposes there is a bill floating around right now that has a good possibility of being passed that will influence the way we ALL use the internet. this bill is called KOSA and it presents itself as "kids online safety act" but in reality it is and will try to sensor SO much important information out there about LGBTQ+, POC communities, feminism and women's rights, and so much more. the bill targets mainly people under 17 but this bill will affect adults too. your favorite social media and websites will become highly cleansed from anything the government deems as "dangerous" to children online. one of the ways they are trying to ensure kids aren't accessing content that is "dangerous" enforces EVERYONE to upload private information or a photo of your ID to access social media apps and websites. IF YOU CARE AT ALL ABOUT PROTECTING FREE SPEACH ON THE INTERNET AND THE WAY WE USE IT TO COMMUNICATE PLEASE HELP ENSURE THAT THIS BILL DOES NOT PASS.
CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES AND SENATORS TO SHOW THAT YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THE KOSA BILL.
PLEASE REBLOG AND SHARE !!!!
HERE IS A FREE PETITION YOU CAN SIGN TO HELP:

The whole "breasts shouldn't be politicized because the primary purpose of breasts is to feed babies!" can be a fine jumping-off point, but I really wish people thought deeper than that when we talk about the ways in which bodies are politicized and restricted.
Like, why's it that when we talk about breasts, they must have some Higher Purpose? It's true that breasts aren't inherently sexual, but they aren't valuable solely because they can potentially feed a baby. A human body doesn't have to serve a Higher Purpose in order for it to not be legislated against or policed, and I just wish people would remember it isn't always about babies, about other people, about anything else other than the people who have that body.
#feminism#dysphoria tw#your body doesn't need to have an Intrinsic Worthwhile Purpose so that you can live without fear#and it is fine if people say this to criticize the way breasts are overly sexualized and fetishized or what have you...#...but i encourage people to not see this as an end-all-be-all argument#because this opens discussions about how we politicize bodies and how we interpret them#i see overlap between this and the way trans bodies are politicized and policed honestly#and i guess personally i'm just so tired of the idea that to be safe your body Must Have A Good Reason To Be#and i fear this may reinforce the idea that we Must Serve Purposes and Be Useful and Used#ask to tag (genuine)#and what would this say for childless people? or people who cannot bear children? if they have breasts are they 'useless bodies'#because i have seen the ways some people's bodies are treated when they do not 'work PROPERLY' and that scares me#it scares me to potentially start treating people with different bodies as Defective and Unworthy and Unproductive#and i don't always trust when people latch onto purpose-driven arguments for human bodies that it stops at that y'know#have seen some discussion amd whatnot so 👍#is it now time to clock put and be a silly goose yet?

So about a month ago, there was this protest against a all male homeless shelter in brooklyn
that planned to be built near schools. Is is feminist to protest against it or classist/anti homeless. There were definitely some classist people in the protest so even if there was a valid reason to be against the homeless shelter, allying with conservatives is a bit of a yikes. Here the view against the home
Classists - Homeless Shelters shouldn't be built because they don't like homeless people.(These people were part of the protest)
(Rad) Feminists - Homeless Shelter isn't the issue to them but moreso the location. They believe that Homeless Men are likely to be a threat to children and to protect children, the homeless shelter must be moved elsewhere.
I wonder if an all female homeless shelter near children would be protested as well. Maybe the argument that Women are less likely to be violent towards children is enough for the public to trust an all female homeless shelter near kids.
Pro Shelter - Any help towards ending homelessness is good and this service is necessary.
What do you guys think?

Just watched a video on insta where hijabi women were pranking their husbands and male relatives to remove their hijabs that too in their own homes and these men started abusing them for that. This is what liberal leftists want to normalise by calling it "a free choice". Hijab is a symbol of oppression not a choice. And i am not listening to any muslim woman's opinion either on why is it her choice to wear it. You either have a hijab on your head or a brain in your head. Modesty culture is not empowerment, it’s slavery. You are a slave.

Been seeing a lot of takes like this and I appreciate where they're coming from, it's a good idea to be especially wary of excessive criticism aimed at things made by and for women but like. Yes you do see hot takes about Marvel, and the lego movie, and Batman films. To say this with your whole chest you have to spend zero time in leftist circles and pay zero attention to criticism of big blockbuster movies or just. Yknow. Lie to make your point.
More relevantly you see this specific thing happen whenever a big corporation makes flaccid listless gestures towards progressivism for the sake of their bottom line. Because the end result is always too toothless to have meaning for leftists while still being offensive enough to right wingers simply by virtue of having a lot of women or gay people or people of colour in it to have them frothing at the mouth. Sexist dudebros hating Barbie doesn't shield it from feminist critique, they were going to hate it whether it succeeded or failed but it can still fail.
And as nice as the big feminist speach in barbie is I have to wonder if its primary purpose is to actually uplift women so much as it is to shut down criticism of the movie and the brand. If even Barbie can't escape this criticism what hope is there for the rest of us, right? Except Barbie isn't a real woman, she's a plastic toy made in sweatshops by a brand attempting to rehabilitate a progressive image out of a long history of being criticized for its portrayal of women because that's what will boost sales. This movie is part of that, and pointing that out is important.
You don't need my or ayone's permission to enjoy the Barbie movie, if it was meaninful to you I'm genuinely happy for you, if you just thought it was fun and funny, great! But to act like the only reason to criticize the movie is sexism is glossing over some very real problems and like, straight up falling for the corporate propaganda. Yes every big blockbuster movie actually does get criticized bc they are political tools that serve the people in power. Not every big blockbuster is also being sold as a feminist masterpiece though, so you probably are gonna hear it more about Barbie. You'll also hear it more about Barbie bc people are hypercritical of women and that will motivate some critique, but to assume bad faith is to shut out conversations that need to happen.
#personally I think the Barbie movie had little if anything meaningful to say about feminism#And that it was lackluster from a storytelling standpoint#while the comedy and visuals were very nice#But Im also a lefty nutjob and this was an intro to feminism movie it may very well have reached a lot of people#just don't be shocked when it's not the be all and end all I guess?#Barbie

I just realized: TERFs must fucking HATE child-free women with a PASSION. They're always going on and on about how surgery for trans men is "mutilation" and how they're throwing away perfectly good and useful and "beautiful" organs for something they view as a toxic ideology at best and an outright cult at worst. Meanwhile, from my experience, most CF women want to be sterilized, either for ideological reasons (*cough, anti-natalists, cough*) or as a preventative to ensure our choice is respected. So not only do we want to "mutilate" our reproductive organs, but we also spit in the face of their warped idea of feminism just for not wanting kids. They put so much power in biological determinism that anything that breaks that mold is abhorrent to them, be it people who change their gender and gender expression or people who refuse to play into or lack the biological "need" for children.
EDIT: Wow, this post hasn't even been up for a day and the radfems have already found it. Going through the stuff they've said, I now realize that they don't, in fact, hate childfree women because they have some truly impressive double standards.
#anti terf#anti gender critical#childfree#antinatalism#equality#feminism#liberal feminism#i've said it before and i'll say it again: these people would be very happy if gilead formed irl#until they were the ones who ended up on the chopping block

For much of my life, so much media was made by men. Men with working class and military backgrounds. Chain smoking war veterans and high school diploma engineers and sleaze writers. Journalists who were 20th century journalists and not 21st century journalists. Men who were actually pretty familiar and relatable because they're like guys in my family.
This made me think, you know what would be great, if women made some of this stuff too. One day, feminism will win. We will get to be in the public sphere just like these same men. And now women do all of these things! Women with MFAs.
#the men went away but it doesn't mean that regular women now got to write!!#this issue is VERY VERY discoursed in 20th century feminism!! and by women writers!!#female creation in the 20th is fraught!! but it didn't get that much better for the women who didn't get to create *then*!#if it's gotten better it's hugely downstream of self publishing but we don't get to be part of the cultural taste making or narrative the#way that the 20th century men got to be#I think prole women in creative stuff end up making sleaze tbh and get shut out of the taste making#except in periods where sleaze is influential

hot take but plus size/fat people shouldn't have to sexualize themselves for you to be accepting of them.
#enough of “all bodies are beautiful!! but only when theyre wearing miniskirts and thigh high tights”#all bodies are beautiful. full stop. end of discussion.#ive seen too many videos of fat women throwing on their sexiest outfits to “prove” that fat women are beautiful.#its one thing if she's doing that to feel good about herself#but a whole other thing if she's doing it to convince other people that her body is beautiful#i dont blame her i just think that fat women shouldn't have to do that#if what it takes to accept fat people is fetishizing them maybe you're not actually an ally to fat people#just a thought#body acceptance#body positive#feminism#anti terf#anti gender critical#anti radfem#terfs dni#radfems dni#intersectionalfeminist
