#workinprogress Productive enamelling session this afternoon. Still need to check for damages and cracks but I think this batch has come out OK. NEW! Gorgeous Orange and Green Enamelled Pendant which looks like a VOLCANO Erupting above a lush green valley. This Pendant has two main colours, Orange and Green. Some red and orange enamels get black spots if fired in the enamelling kiln for too long or too many times. I think that creates amazing effects. I gave the copper disc and extra thick layer of bright orange enamel powder and put it in the kiln for a bit longer than the usual 2.5 minutes I fire these pieces for. I love what this process achieved. The back of the pendant was enamelled has a plain grass green enamelled finish.
