Cubbi + Itty Bitties Update

So sorry for the sudden hiatus. Turns out my job really took everything out of me.

The good news is that I've since quit that job!

The bad news is that I'll have only 1 month until I need employment again. Given my chronic fatigue, this means I will have to enter another undetermined hiatus.

However, within my 1 given month of unemployment, I plan to dedicate as much time as possible into Itty Bitties such as:

>Clearing out the remaining 60 asks in my inbox

>Opening the Itty Bitties Discord Server

>Starting the Itty Bitties Party

[START DATE: NOV 30, ON DISCORD SERVER ONLY]

>Opening Commissions

>Reopening the Inbox

[It will be closed again upon reaching 400]

I can't say for certain that I'll hit all of these goals. Although I will do my best, as I am but an itty bitty panda, and the story is so so large.

Thank you all so much for being patient with me, and sticking out through the hiatus. I'm just as excited as you to return to the story. It may take a moment for me to get back into the rhythm. I hope you continue to enjoy my works <3

Very interesting thing to write about; dude has so much complicated baggage like goddamn

So I feel like my insert would be unaware of Spy being Scout's dad for a very long time since Spy would already be terrified of being vulnerable and open in general. (I think it would be like that in their relationship as well)

There's no way in hell he would bring it up randomly so he'll have to invite s/i in his smoking room when he's willing to bite the bullet and tell her. Having it be in a way where no one else overhear or know.

I haven't written a defined personality for my s/i but a particular trait I've been thinking of is for her to be incredibly direct and blunt; as to contrast Spy's more performative and secretive personality. Her response would be a weird mix of shock/almost being speechless (bc having someone confess to be an absent father would cause that reaction no doubt) and a strong firm request for him to tell Scout directly. Not through anyone else's mouth; through his.

S/I would recognize that Scout, at the very least, needs closure over something that deeply affected him since he was a kid. And she will absolutely bring that fact up to Spy during their exchange.

"You honestly think Scout would take that well? He won't even look me in the eyes if I did tell!"

"At least give him the chance to not look you in the eye!"

(also seeing each other again after that interaction would definitely be awkward and mildly strained)
