Benefits of Implementing EMR Software in Medical Practices
The use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) has changed the way medical practices operate. It provides many benefits that improve healthcare delivery. From improved patient safety to greater efficiency and cost savings, EMR systems are transforming the healthcare industry for the better. In this blog, we will discuss the benefits of implementing EMR software in medical practices. Here are the best ways EMR systems in healthcare can be made profitable for new medical practices.
Benefits For Patients
The use of EMR provides more accurate and timely access to their medical information. By having all of their medical history stored electronically, physicians are able to quickly access the records and make more informed decisions. This increases patient safety, as doctors are more likely to diagnose and treat illnesses correctly. Additionally, EMR systems reduce paperwork, allow for faster scheduling of appointments, and provide patients with more convenient access to their medical records.
Benefits For Doctors
Navigating the reimbursement process when dealing with government insurance providers can be a lengthy. And it is a potentially exasperating experience, as it requires a multitude of steps and a significant amount of documentation. This can lead to medical professionals only filing claims for items they have solid proof and paperwork for. This is turn leading to only a fraction of eligible reimbursements making it to completion. Furthermore, many insurers will deny certain claims as superfluous or unsubstantiated and may substitute them for lower-cost alternatives.
The introduction of Electronic Medical Records has made it simpler for medical professionals to keep track of a patient’s hospital experience from the beginning to the end. This gives healthcare providers the opportunity to maximize the amount of reimbursements they can receive, thus increasing their potential for growth.
Benefits for Medical Practices
EMR systems provide a number of advantages. With EMR, clinicians are able to quickly and accurately access patient records. This will allowing them to make more informed decisions and provide better care. Additionally, EMRs streamline the billing process, allowing practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency. This is especially important in today’s world, as medical practices are struggling to stay afloat in the face of rising costs and decreased reimbursement rates.
Increasing the Efficiency in Healthcare
Time is of the essence for medical professionals, and this is particularly true when it comes to their profitability. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems are beneficial to healthcare businesses as they save time and increase revenue by enabling doctors to see more patients. These systems have a number of features that increase efficiency, such as automated prescriptions that can be sent directly to a pharmacy of the doctor’s choosing before the patient has even left the office. This helps to save time and ensure the efficient delivery of care.
The use of pre-made templates allows medical practitioners to easily record common patient symptoms and diagnoses instead of having to rewrite the same information time and time again.
EMR Saves Time and Effort
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in healthcare reduce the workload of a medical practice’s administrative staff. Automating tasks such as entering a patient’s visit details, diagnosis, treatments, and prescriptions into a computer can be taken care of by EMR systems. Thus lightening the load on the administrative staff.
EMR systems provide a number of advantages to administrative staff, such as saving energy and time that can be put towards more beneficial tasks such as patient care. Additionally, going paperless with EMR systems can be beneficial for both the environment and the practice, as it eliminates the need for office supplies, transcription costs, and physical file storage expenses. Furthermore, it reduces the amount of time spent searching through records and prescriptions.
Epilogue
No matter how one looks at it, the advantages of EMR systems in the healthcare sector cannot be denied. From increased remuneration to improved communication with patients and heightened efficiency, the benefits are manifold. A comprehensive EMR system implementation can bring considerable financial gains to newer medical practices. Despite the initial costs associated with implementation, many healthcare professionals have found ways to turn EMRs into profitable ventures.

The Domino Effect
Summary: Shaak Ti was often tempted to save some clone kids. AU, where she finally goes for it. And the ties of siblinghood run strong among the clones.
An impromptu ficlet, ~1000 words. Enjoy 🙂.
Force acts in mysterious ways, thinks Shaak Ti when she walks by the cadet barracks late in their night cycle and overhears the argument. Apparently, someone who doesn’t want to be called Hevy decided to go AWOL, and 99 is trying to persuade him otherwise.
Supervising kids that are raised with a sole purpose—to fight and die for the Republic—is a morally challenging task. Shaak has been tempted multiple times just to take on board as many kids as she can and whisk them far from this madness. Something tips the scales, finally, as she steps into the vast barracks and speaks, “So, you want to get away, cadet?”
They both freeze in shock.
“No, General, sir. Hevy wasn’t going to—” 99 begins, but not-Hevy interrupts him, staring with a desperate defiance.
“Yes, sir. I was planning to go AWOL.”
Shaak stares him back, but the kid, almost a grown-up—or what goes as grown-up nowadays, the cadets are shipped away even at a younger age than at the beginning of the war—does not budge.
“Alright,” says Shaak. “Is this your stuff? Take it and let’s go to my ship.”
“Sir?”
“You want to go AWOL? I can take you off-world on my ship. No one would dare search for you there.”
Not-Hevy grabs the bag with whatever he can claim as his own, but then hesitates.
“Sir, with your permission. My brother, CT-4040. Trainer Bric has it against him. He would do anything so that CT-4040 doesn’t pass his final test.” His eyes go wider as it dawns upon him how implausible the chance Shaak is offering him and how close he might be to failure by asking even more of her. He finishes nonetheless. “May I… may you take him away, too?”
Shaak’s confidence that she is doing the right thing blooms.
“Yes. You may take your brother with you.”
***
“Sir?”
“Yes, CT-4040?”
“Cutup, sir. My name is Cutup,” he glances at CT-782, who is stubbornly not Hevy. “Since tonight. So… Droidbait. CT-782, we’re not leaving him behind, like we did during the simulation, do we?”
Leaving behind during the simulation, this sounds very familiar. “Cadets, what squad are you from?” Shaak asks and nods upon the name, knowing already what comes. “I understand. Go for your brother, and bring Fives and CT-1409 along, too.”
***
“99, I am not leaving without you. We all owe you.”
The aged clone shakes his head, “No, Hevy. You go with the General. As for me, there are a few other troubled brothers that need my support here.”
Of course, five pairs of near-identical eyes stare at Shaak hopefully at the words. “General? You have some more space on your ship, don’t you, sir?”
She sighs. “Just be quiet. It is getting serious, so from now on, let's make it a stealth mission.”
“You've heard the General. It is a stealth mission.”
Exasperated groans, “We're standing right here, Echo,” follow.
***
“Sir?” Fives tugs at her sleeve with suspicious shyness. “It may sound crazy, but… Well, there is a girl here.”
“Oh, not again!”
“Don’t listen to him, General. He is making it all up. He has never met a girl in his life.”
“Well, I did! I keep telling you, and you idiots, refuse to believe me!” Fives snaps. “Sir, there is a girl here, working in the hospital. I met her. I talked to her.”
***
There is a girl, indeed. Experimental Medical Researcher 003, EMR-003 for short, whom Shaak has never met and never seen in any official documents. Moreso, she has never even heard of the Jango female clone program. And this gets extremely suspicious now. Her hunting instincts and the Force both sing to her that she is on the trail of something bigger.
“I am not the only one here, sir. There is one more girl, at least. She is different, but she is also one of us. I can get her out of the lab, I know the way.”
***
Another girl is different, for sure. Shaak can't grasp what is different about this kid—a five-year-old cadet at the most. Not the blond hair, there is a number of blond cadets around. There is something else, something elusive.
“Oh, you want to take us all off-world?” Omega, not EMR-something, notes Shaak, looks at the gang of clones with contagious joy and amazement. Cutup winks at her, and she waves back at him enthusiastically. “We must take my brothers with us!”
“We are all your brothers,” says no-longer-CT-1409-but-still-rather-reluctant Echo serenely.
“I know! But those are… They are my little brothers! And,” she saddens, her childish voice dropping almost to a whisper. “There are only four of them left.”
Shaak sighs. Alright, four more little kids, not a big difference.
***
…they happen to be not quite little kids, and it is finally clear what is different about Omega. The list of questions and problems grows ever longer. Shaak has hunted down and bitten more than she can chew.
She needs to take someone into the partnership in crime—Plo, most likely. And Obi Wan, who found Kamino in the first place, may have some valuable insights…
But first things first. Her navicomputer is still calculating the hyperspace route when a fight erupts in the back of the ship. And Fives is proudly showing EMR-003 around the ship, despite being here for the first time himself. Half of his explanations are totally wrong. Lanky, bespectacled cadet who has confidently strapped himself in the copilot seat and already asked Shaak three questions in a row, turns around and begins to correct him. Someone is asking loudly over the clamour whether her Jedi ship is equipped with guns.
Only 99 gazes silently into the starry void, mesmerised. Looking in his wizened face, Shaak Ti realises that this is his first time in space, despite his long and respectable age of thirteen.

whos going to the playoffs sky or sparks
Sky. For sure Sky.
Very ironic because James Wade DUMPED THEM!!! He literally abandoned them.
But it seems like Emre is an okay coach! He had just two months of head coach experience at Cukurova in October and November 2022. And the Cukurova girls (Chelsea Gray, DB, JJ, Tip, Briann) got tired of him? Or the owner or general manager got tired of him? They fired his ass! I don't know what happened lol but Cukurova fired him.
Oh well! He's in the playoffs now!
And Curt Miller... is not in the playoffs!!! Crazy. Absolutely crazy for LA's season to go the way it did.

@kazxraval stops by Wren’s hut to show her what real music is with a playlist he put together for her, as they chat and reminisce about Cornell and his own affinity for music.
Wren knew that things were getting better between her and Kaz. Maybe it wasn't the best that a fake version of him is what helped open up the conversations between them, but she liked to think if she had met the real Kaz that day she had gone to apologize to him, that the outcome would have been the same. She was working on finding that balance between smothering him with kindness and not taking any of their arguments too far. But she was glad that it seemed like they were able to completely move on from their fight. All of that seemed even more clear when she even got a surprise visit from him rather than her having to bug him or drag him over. Wren knew she didn't have to clean up after Emre's little nest area on her porch but she had still gone out there to make sure there wasn't too much sand or debris mucking up his area when she saw Kaz coming over. "Hey, what are you doing here? Hold on, let me guess. You just missed me so much it was killing you inside every minute you were away from me. So you just couldn't help but come visit." She deduced with a big playful smile as if she was completely spot on with her assumption.
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
He walked a path away from the sea stairs. Kaz could easily keep going, however he decided to put in a little effort to check in on Wren. And, she had mentioned a few things last time. His smile was tight and short, as usual. "Mm. Actually. After all that non-stop Whitney Houston, I thought you might want to hear some songs your dad liked." He held up his iPod, and then looked over at what she tidied up on the porch. "The hell is that stuff?"
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
Teasing him was fun but the fact that he was here to hang out with her, giving her the offer of an inside look at the kind of music her dad liked to listen to was difficult to joke about. Wren looked at his ipod and grinned, bouncing on the tips of her toes, eager to see how much Kaz had on hand that her dad would have been into. "Yeah, I'd love that. I guess you guys had the same taste in music then." Which shouldn't have been shocking, if the two of them would spend time and play music together. She glanced down at Emre's little nest of sorts when Kaz pointed it out, gesturing to it as she explained. "Oh. Emre has been staying here. I had offered him to stay inside but since the doppelganger incident I think he doesn't want to get too close. Probably thinks I think he'll do something. Or maybe he doesn't trust himself, maybe both. But yeah this is where he's been staying since he didn't want to be in the place he had with Iyaz. I'm hoping he's willing to come sleep inside eventually I feel bad leaving him out here like an animal."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
Wren was excited enough he was there. "I think he fucking hated a lot of my music," Kaz said with a gentle smile. "He had good taste." An elder type of music fanatic, that would be how he'd describe Cornell. "I'm familiar enough with what he liked." He'd forgotten Emre had been crashing on her porch, of all places. Because Iyaz was gone, and it was enough to make Kaz pause with a "oh" under his breath. "He shouldn't be out here like this..." But it was a complication of the fakes, between Emre and Wren, and no one else. "Ahhh... want to listen to music out here?" Kaz had other reasons for avoiding being inside those tiny huts. He looked away from Emre's nest to the support of the porch. "Need to get a hammock for your porch."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
Wren snorted, amused at hearing that their tastes differed. It brought on the thought of the two of them bickering about what they felt was objectively better, only a hint of seriousness behind it. "So, he hated the music you liked, but he had good taste so...you're telling me you have bad taste?" She asked with one of those snarky, teasing grins on her face. She knew very well that Emre shouldn't have been out here for as long as he had been, that was why she wanted him to move inside now that he had gone to the trouble to upgrade her home the way he did. "I know. Maybe you can convince him to quit being so stubborn. But, he said he wants to fix his head before anything. Once that waswasah is gone or...mellowed out, then I think he'll be willing to move in for real. But he did say I could tell people we're living with each other, I guess he wants me to stake my claim." Kaz suggesting they listen to the music outside didn't really set anything off for Wren, it wasn't like there was bad weather for them to worry about. So her protest on the matter was purely playful. "What, you don't want to go inside? It looks a lot different from the last time you were over." Even as she said that, she still sat down on the porch instead of pushing they relocate. "Yeah, sorry, I haven't gotten this place to your liking, that's next on the list. Now come on, I'm ready to hear what music you've got set up for me."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
"I'm saying..." with the usual emphasis and sternness to clarify. And well aware of what she was doing. "He hated a lot, not all. My tastes are broader, he didn't like a lot of the newer stuff. Preferred what he grew up on. He had good taste, I happen to have excellent taste." Chin up with a smile, a challenge to see if she'd like to pick it apart further. The waswasah, a nasty hangover they could all do without. "So this is where I'll find you both, once he settles. Noted." His eyes darted through the door of Wren's hut before he joined her on the porch. "It's nice outside, the heat isn't oppressive, thought we'd take advantage." A shrug. "Dunno. Not used to being in a hut. Four walls and all." He handed over his iPod with a huff, but leaned in to turn it on for Wren, scroll down to the playlist. "Made a list of shit I knew he liked. The first few are Beatles songs we used to play. I think you'll recognize a couple of them at least." He pointed to one of the headphones. "Those go in your ears, so you can hear it."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
"Wow, excellent taste, he says." She raised her brows, looking as though she was impressed before using her knuckles to push his chin that he was holding high. "And here I am, just waiting for you to prove it." Wren nodded that yes, both her and Emre would be found here together, though his comment about not being used to being in a hut made her tilt her head to the side. "I don't mind. I try not to spend too much time inside anyway. Might as well enjoy the beach when things aren't going crazy." Amidst her enjoyment of the controls of this thing, the way Kaz pointed out how she was supposed to listen to the music caused her to scowl and roll her eyes. "Thanks, how do you think I managed to listen to Whitney Houston on repeat for days without that knowledge? Jeez." She argued, playing up the faux annoyance as she took one of the earbuds and stuck it in her ear. Her eyes were focused on the ones he specifically called out being by The Beatles until she reached one that looked like it might be familiar and clicked on it. Immediately that sense of familiarity washed over her as Blackbird began to play, Wren's eyes lighting up, nodding her head as she remembered the amount of times her dad played this song. She easily fell into singing along, the lyrics still in her head making it easy to follow along. "Oh, this is awesome I like this. My dad played this one a lot. Though to be fair, I always asked him to. Can you play the one about the bird? Asked him that nearly every night."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
"Maybe when you're done harassing me I can prove it." He pushed back on her knuckles. Spending time on her porch would be just fine. He even gestured towards the side of her hut. "Should totally make a yard over there. Fence it in. Add a little garden or some shit." A small laugh. "When things aren't crazy? When's that, exactly?" He frowned back at her. "You're welcome. And welcome for the time I took it off repeat. Because you didn't know how." How quickly she'd forgotten. Kaz settled to sit on the porch. He didn't need to actually use the other headphone, but he decided to anyway. Just for a moment. Kaz looked at the ocean in the distance. The recognition of the song could be heard in her voice. "He had plenty of practice, hm?" Then, a nod. I do remember him playing this one a lot. He had a nice voice too." Kaz glanced back to her with a small smile. "See. I'm not so bad at picking songs for you, am I?"
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
She grinned at this claim of harassment, as if it wasn't just simple teasing. Wren's gaze followed towards where he was gesturing, raising a brow curiously at his suggestion. "For someone who isn't used to living in a hut you sure have your opinions on what I should do with mine." Not that she was against it, she wondered if gardening would even be her thing. "I'd say that things aren't crazy right now. This feels like a completely normal, uncrazy kind of day. Sort of like, before the plane crash, you know?" A simpler time, for sure. "Yeah, whatever. Even though I don't know how the buttons work, I know what I listen with." She replied, pausing for a moment before continuing in a less snarky tone, "but thank you. For showing me how to do that." Wren rested her chin in the palm of her hands, a smile on her face as the music flowed through her ears, such a familiar and comforting sound. When she closed her eyes she could easily visualize her father with the guitar in his hands playing for her. "He did have a very good voice. I think I like his version a little more but this is still...really nice." She started scrolling to see what to play next when Kaz made his comment. "Well, technically I picked this one. You just happened to have access to it. But go, pick the next one. Show me this incredible taste of yours."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
All he had to offer to her remark about the hut was a flippant gesture of his hand. Kaz gave ideas, they didn't necessarily mean to make sense. Especially for himself. In her mind, the crash marked a very obvious before and after. It made sense. Like the call he got one early Sunday about Ani. Half asleep and severely hungover, Reyansh's stutter to start talking said everything. "I guess so. The island isn't sinking into the sea today. That's always a plus, isn't it." Kaz nodded as she thanked him and again when he agreed. "I might like his version better too. I bet he'd be pleased as fuck you still remember the way he sang it." Kaz bonded more with Cornell than Wren's mother. "What kind of music did your mom like, do you know?" He leaned in and pointed to the playlist. "Well, I curated this for you. So there's a little of everything on it. Hip hop, trip hop, punk, post punk, funk, soul, a couple of old blues songs." If Wren turned out to be a pop girlie he'd be disappointed. "Scroll down to the Eve and Missy Elliott. And M.I.A. Pick one of those. I thought you'd like them."
She smiled fondly at the thought, knowing that his version of this song was the only version she knew until now, there was no way she could forget it. "You know, I wish there had been a way to record him back then so I could listen back to him playing on one of these. I think that would have pleased him even more." "I think my mom was a bigger Beatles fan than my dad was. Who else did she like..." Wren had to think back with a hum to remember the names. "Fleetwood Mac and uh...ABBA she liked those too." Even though she knew he put this together for her, hearing him say it was a nice feeling. It was fun to picture him scrolling through all these songs and picking ones that he thought she would enjoy. "You are saying so much that I don't understand." She pointed out with a chuckle before following his instructions on who to look through next. "Ok, yeah, I'm glad a song called Get Your Freak On made you think of me." She was amused so that was the song she picked. "This is sooo different." She commented. Everything about it was nothing she ever heard before. It was much different than The Beatles for sure, it was quick and entertaining as opposed to these slower songs she kept playing for herself. Wren was bobbing her head along to the music, having much more fun with this one rather than getting sentimental over Blackbird. "Is this the kind of music you listen to? I wanna hear one of the songs you like." She told him as she put the ipod in his hand. "Show me one of your favorites."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
If the drought had only happened a few years earlier. "Yeah, we can only record stuff now." At the same time, Kaz tried not to let those moments sit taken for granted. He remembered much of what Cornell played, said, did. If there was a way to bring those to life for Wren, he would. So he shifted some in his seat. "Yeah, he would've loved it the most. Wasn't shy, you know. Knew he played and sang really good." Absolutely no ABBA on his iPod. Kaz might have a stray Peter Green/Fleetwood Mac song on it. Maybe a couple later ones. "Might be able to play something like that for you." He smiled, and sure he'd like to pummel her with a million songs at once. But really, it was nice to digest sounds and songs. They meant more doled out in such a way. "I..." Okay, that wasn't what he meant by bringing up Missy Elliott. "The music. Thought it'd be a good introduction. Because there's a lot. I got, like. Indian stuff. That my grandfather liked. Really, really old stuff that influenced everything. A bunch of other bullshit, but. There's time, you know. Some things, you have to sit with." It was fun to see Wren hear certain music for the first time. He'd trade places with her, if he could. He shrugged a shoulder. "I listened to a lot of different shit. Dunno." To pick a favorite would be an impossibility. A singular song wouldn't sum it all up. "Sounds cheesy but songs are like friends. They're there at certain times of your life. A few last forever. The important ones last and sort of change shape with you. All of them have some meaning though, you know. Can't really pick one." If he had to, there would be a million at his fingertips to choose from. But he leaned over and spun the wheel of the iPod anyway. Lust For Life, Iggy Pop. "Not my favorite, but if I'm ever like. Dying. Play this and I'll find the strength to go on."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
"Oh, I know. He had all the confidence in the world. I'm sure he told you all about his band and all the shows they played." Nothing too big, weekend gigs at coffee shops and bars that hired live music, but he'd recall it to Wren in ways that made them sound like sold out stadium tours. "I know he liked to say they could have gone pro if they really wanted to but 'liked their day job too much' to go through with it." It was crazy to think that this little device in her hand held so much music on it that it felt like it might never actually end. Which she wouldn't have minded, if she got to sit around with Kaz to just listen to some new music for a while then she'd be content. Resting her chin in the palm of her hand, Wren smiled fondly at his explanation. "I like that even if it is cheesy. So it's like I'm meeting a bunch of your friends for the first time. Which I appreciate. I want to hear the music that was important to you out there." Then he put on a song that sounded much more upbeat and boppy than she expected. But she swayed her head side to side and shimmied her shoulders to the beat, having fun with this song that would supposedly give Kaz 'the strength to go on'. "Alright, I guess I have to admit that you were right and your music taste is pretty great." The way that Kaz spoke about his connection with music as a whole and all the talk of her dad before, made it feel like this was a good a time as any to give him what she'd been holding onto for him. "Give me one second." She told him as she took the earbud out of her ear and stood up to head inside her place. "I want to give you something so turn around or close your eyes until I tell you to open them." She told him from inside since she knew he would hear it. Poking her head out the door first, Wren made sure he wasn't looking before she stepped out and sat back down next to him. In her hands she had an acoustic guitar, one that was covered in stickers of different symbols that Wren was only familiar with thanks to her dad drawing them out in the sand and explaining them to her. "Okay now you can look. I found it on the Bridge. My dad always talked about how much he missed the guitar he had with him before he got here. Always thought it never washed up with him. But...I found it. And I thought you should have it."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
"I can totally see Cornell getting a record contract. Touring, back in the day. He taught me some things, you know." Talented guy. Had a certain laid back charisma, a lure on a hook for sure. Confident, but not the drinking his own delusion of overconfidence. Sharp. At least on the island, perhaps Cornell had been totally different in the other world. Kaz didn't have the cash for an iPod with more storage, but something didn't seem right about walking around with everything he wanted at his fingertips. A weird boundary he had. The iPod held enough, and he enjoyed removing/adding what was needed at certain times. He shrugged. "I can count on that..." A nod to the iPod. "More than people." His explanation. He liked watching her eyes light up or seeing Wren move to what was so new and unexpected. How music should be. "I told you, it's pretty fantastic." There were a thousand songs he could play. And a lot of excitement around making Wren listen to whatever he wanted. They had time. Plenty of time. And then she slinked off but not before some instructions. "I have to do both? Can't I just do one or the other?" Kaz asked, even as he eventually did as Wren asked. He'd take whatever she had in mind to give him. When he opened his eyes, his lips parted. He'd heard all about Cornell's guitar, and it was as described. Plenty of overlapped stickers on it and some around the pick guard faded, no doubt from a strumming hand. "Wait-- it's his?" Had to be. Any instrument a treasure on a fucked up island, but. Wren wanted to give it to Kaz? He stood to take it. Ventura on the headstock in mother of pearl. Well cared for, and with a simple brush of his fingers it sounded warm and beautiful. In a way no new guitar could ever sound, because someone else's fingers had embedded a sound into it. He glanced over to her. "You really giving this to me?"
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
"Yeah that sounds about right." She grinned as she went silent for a moment. She didn't want to make things more depressing so suddenly but she couldn't stop herself from saying, "I wish he was still around." Though she made sure to follow it up without too much time to linger on the sadness of those words. "I'm sure by now he would have wrangled you and Tomas into some kind of band with him. Maybe even Emre too. I'm sure he would have liked Emre." Said with no real reason as to how or why. Wren wasn't going to comment about how Kaz could count on this little device and his songs more than people. They had their own views and experiences when it came to other people and unfortunately, Kaz was stuck with people in his life who weren't exactly reliable. "Do whatever you want, just don't look!" She confirmed, hoping this would be a worthwhile surprise for him to open his eyes to. It meant a lot to Wren to have found something that belonged to her dad, especially something as important to him as his guitar. It would have been easy for her to just place it somewhere in her hut, tucked away for safe keeping but she was pretty sure that wasn't what her father would have wanted. And with the time Kaz had spent with her dad, she was sure he would understand it's importance. She nodded at his question of disbelief that she was giving the guitar to him. "Uh huh. You make it very clear how important music is to you and I know you would get a lot more use out of it. I never really learned how to play much." Wren was more of the vocalist than the musician when it came to them playing as a family. "And I'm sure he would have liked knowing you had it, to play it and wear it out as opposed to it sitting in my hut as a decoration. Plus...you're my friend and I wanted to give you something special. A sorry and thank you gift for everything."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
I wish he was still around. He wondered if Wren knew. Really knew, they all went through it same as her. "Happens in the other world too." A shrug. Like his sister. Who should've been his twin, even if they were miles apart similarly. Didn't matter, he still wished she was there. He cleared his throat. "Yeah. Me too, miss that guy." Cornell could've easily roped Tomas and Kaz into a musical venture. He paused on Emre with a slow growing grin, could already see the answer with a kiss of teeth. "Emre can sing." A beat before he curbed his smile. "Most people like that little bastard, so. Yeah, probably." Still felt strange for Wren to give Kaz the guitar, but hell no he wouldn't deny it. "I can teach you how to play." An offer as payment of sorts. His eyes drawn down to a fretboard, the bridge-- not that Kaz needed to look it over. Cornell would've babied any instrument he had. He turned it around and back again. Finally tucked the body between his own and his left arm, as he was left handed. An open strum. Pretty and warm, maybe the reverberation traveled to an air attuned on the other side of the island. Or out over the ocean. Wren said nice things that Kaz wasn't accustomed replying to. "Well. No one's given me something like this before. So. Thanks." He smiled again, brief but kind. "It's the best thing anyone has given me. I'll take care of it."
↤ ☾🔥☽ ↦
Wren knew she wasn't the only person who had experienced loss, and she certainly wasn't the only person to wish to be reunited with someone she lost. Maybe it was something harder to accept when your whole life all you knew was that everyone around you had the capability of being around for hundreds of years. But she had to come to terms with the fact that feelings like this wouldn't just disappear one day. "Yeah, I remember hearing him sing once. I think it was when he came with me to see Estelle's tree in the grove." Maybe it was too much to be daydreaming about how her parents would feel about people they would never meet. But even if they weren't around she had a desire for them to like who she liked and Emre was sure to be weaseled into their hearts whether he liked it or not. She smiled as she watched him eye the guitar, perhaps out of fascination, or shock that it was in his hands rather than hers. When she mentioned she hadn't really learned how to play, she wasn't fishing for an offer of a lesson, but it wasn't like she was going to refuse. Her and Kaz were back on a steady track so she would happily accept more time together. "Sure, I'd like that." she accepted with a nod. "Name a time and place and I'll be there." There was a sense of pride hearing that her gift was the best thing anyone had given him. Proud that she knew him well enough to have given him something that would mean a lot to him. "I'm glad you like it. You better play every song you know for me now that you have that. There's no excuse now to not serenade me every chance you get." She claimed jokingly, not wanting to linger too long on all the sappiness of the moment for his sake. "And just make sure you don't try to remove any of the stickers either. My dad might just come back and haunt you if you try."
END.

I'm bored here's my reviews of apple pencil tips
Regular (think the ones your pencil comes with and official Apple replacement ones): Okay, reliable, slippery even on matte protectors, wear down fast, I find I draw harder with these and cause unnecessary wrist strain. I gotta modify my pressure settings for these, specifically
Metal: Don't wear down, usually sensitive, massacres screen protectors so I just buy a ton of cheap ones, ideal if you need to train yourself to draw/write with a lighter hand and will do so due to anxiety of damaging your ipad like I do with these (I use these the most), feel good like nice a ballpoint pen. I find them the best with a matte protector in terms of feel, but definitely not protector longevity
Stronger plastic over metal (usually these are clear): Solid, last a long time, feel the same on regular protectors as original tips but are more rounded and can be moody after you wear down the plastic on matte protectors, not many sellers of these, feel good though, second favorite
Mesh tip caps: last longer than rubber, decent friction, get dirty easily due to wax? layer on them if you take your pencil places, not many sellers
Rubber tip caps: super cheap, just don't last, too grabby for my taste even on glossy regular screen protectors
#I also buy wacom one tips for my s pen (s6 lite) for the more rounded bigger tip I recommend that#it feels WAY better if you don't just have a bigger EMR pen to use on galaxy tabs#Never tried the metal ones for that though#vena vents#not art#Seems most EMR pens with replaceable tips do have the same size and tip format but always double check

Alara’s family moved to Hidehill from Turkey way before she was born. She was the fourth and final child to Cemile and Emre and has two older brothers and a sister.
The family come from money and her grandparents owned a successful business back in Turkey which her dad inherited once her grandfather passed, it is also expected that one of the siblings take over the company too when their dad steps down.
Growing up Alara didn’t have any issues fitting in, she was raised in Harlow Estates, she got good grades in school and got on with all kinds of people and groups. She had a few people she didn’t get along with but for the most part her time in school was good.
Alara had one high school relationship (17-18) and at the time it felt very real for her, she was the typical girl who was head over heels and thought he was the one. She thought they’d spend the rest of their lives together but of course that wasn’t the case. Her world came crashing down after a year of being together when she found out he had been cheating on her for months just after they graduated.
This ruined her look on love for a very long time, she wouldn’t open up to anyone or even entertain the thought of being with someone else. Her mood changed, she was constantly grumpy and snapped at people over the slightest thing. She became very closed off for the most part, very short tempted and sarcastic.
Over time the old Alara returned but she definitely still has some of those traits to this day and has to work hard to open up and trust people.
Alara was also caught in a cheating scandal over her own she was 25. She was having an affair with a married man who she met at work one day, he had come in with his wife and came back in alone the next day. For weeks after that he would return to talk to her, he would tip her well and make her laugh and eventually one thing led to another and they were meeting outside of her work hours. Those turned into dates which then would end up with her at his place when his wife was out.
Eventually the two of them would be caught out when she returned early from her plans, the two were caught in the act and luckily for her the wife agreed to keep this between them. Alara never saw him again and never spoke a word about this to anybody. She was hurt when she knew she shouldn’t be, she unfortunately caught feelings for the older man but she was thankful his wife saved her the embarrassment of this spreading around Hidehill.
