Benefits of Implementing EMR Software in Medical Practices

The use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) has changed the way medical practices operate. It provides many benefits that improve healthcare delivery. From improved patient safety to greater efficiency and cost savings, EMR systems are transforming the healthcare industry for the better. In this blog, we will discuss the benefits of implementing EMR software in medical practices. Here are the best ways EMR systems in healthcare can be made profitable for new medical practices.
Benefits For Patients
The use of EMR provides more accurate and timely access to their medical information. By having all of their medical history stored electronically, physicians are able to quickly access the records and make more informed decisions. This increases patient safety, as doctors are more likely to diagnose and treat illnesses correctly. Additionally, EMR systems reduce paperwork, allow for faster scheduling of appointments, and provide patients with more convenient access to their medical records.
Benefits For Doctors
Navigating the reimbursement process when dealing with government insurance providers can be a lengthy. And it is a potentially exasperating experience, as it requires a multitude of steps and a significant amount of documentation. This can lead to medical professionals only filing claims for items they have solid proof and paperwork for. This is turn leading to only a fraction of eligible reimbursements making it to completion. Furthermore, many insurers will deny certain claims as superfluous or unsubstantiated and may substitute them for lower-cost alternatives.
The introduction of Electronic Medical Records has made it simpler for medical professionals to keep track of a patient’s hospital experience from the beginning to the end. This gives healthcare providers the opportunity to maximize the amount of reimbursements they can receive, thus increasing their potential for growth.
Benefits for Medical Practices
EMR systems provide a number of advantages. With EMR, clinicians are able to quickly and accurately access patient records. This will allowing them to make more informed decisions and provide better care. Additionally, EMRs streamline the billing process, allowing practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency. This is especially important in today’s world, as medical practices are struggling to stay afloat in the face of rising costs and decreased reimbursement rates.
Increasing the Efficiency in Healthcare
Time is of the essence for medical professionals, and this is particularly true when it comes to their profitability. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems are beneficial to healthcare businesses as they save time and increase revenue by enabling doctors to see more patients. These systems have a number of features that increase efficiency, such as automated prescriptions that can be sent directly to a pharmacy of the doctor’s choosing before the patient has even left the office. This helps to save time and ensure the efficient delivery of care.
The use of pre-made templates allows medical practitioners to easily record common patient symptoms and diagnoses instead of having to rewrite the same information time and time again.
EMR Saves Time and Effort
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in healthcare reduce the workload of a medical practice’s administrative staff. Automating tasks such as entering a patient’s visit details, diagnosis, treatments, and prescriptions into a computer can be taken care of by EMR systems. Thus lightening the load on the administrative staff.
EMR systems provide a number of advantages to administrative staff, such as saving energy and time that can be put towards more beneficial tasks such as patient care. Additionally, going paperless with EMR systems can be beneficial for both the environment and the practice, as it eliminates the need for office supplies, transcription costs, and physical file storage expenses. Furthermore, it reduces the amount of time spent searching through records and prescriptions.
Epilogue
No matter how one looks at it, the advantages of EMR systems in the healthcare sector cannot be denied. From increased remuneration to improved communication with patients and heightened efficiency, the benefits are manifold. A comprehensive EMR system implementation can bring considerable financial gains to newer medical practices. Despite the initial costs associated with implementation, many healthcare professionals have found ways to turn EMRs into profitable ventures.

1/72 AMAIM Ghost
Picked up a couple of Kyoukai Senki kits on special earlier this month, and it's finally time to build them up! I haven't watched Kyoukai Senki/AMAIM Warrior at the Border at all, as despite the really interesting and unique mechanical designs, especially with the cool hinged elbows and digitigrade legs, the actual plot seems to be rather uninteresting (and apparently weirdly nationalist?).

What drew me to this kit was the unique assymetric design. The left arm unit is much larger and bulkier, ending in a "heat claw" weapon. The fingers of the claw are articulated, and there are some nice metallic foil stickers detailing the glowing effect on the claw. These were a pain to apply but I'm happy with how they look on the completed model. The head unit is also nicely detailed, with some exposed cameras and piping on one side and a large antenna on the other. There's a well designed neck piece that maintains a good degree of head articulation despite the large head armour pieces, unlike a lot of gunpla where the head design limits articulation.

The legs are pretty nicely designed as well. They're absolutely massive, almost as big as a few other kits in their entirety, and there's some clever engineering that lets the talons on the feet rotate and flex, as well as great design to cover up and hide all of the hinged sections. The kit even manages to maintain full colour separation, using a few dark red and bright red pieces layered between the blue-grey armour panels where you'd usually expect awkward stickers or painting. This was especially appreciable on the torso.
I added a little extra detailling by doing my usual metallic weathering on all of the grey mechanical sections, but otherwise I was able to build this kit as is. I did experiment with using an enamel panel line wash for the first time here. I was a little concerned I might cause the plastic to crack, but by using minimal amounts of enamel thinner to clean up the kit as well as adding a clear gloss basecoat, I was able to avoid any disasters. I found that I stil had to touch up the kit a little with my felt-tip panel line marker, but otherwise using a liquid panel liner saved me a lot of time.

This kit didn't really come with any optional extras, apart from maybe an extra right hand as an open fist option. This mech evidently doesn't require any handheld weapons. There's a set of wing-like binders on the back, which apparently function as EMR jammers. They give the kit a somewhat beetle-like or draconic look, which I appreciate a lot.

Overall this was a really fun build. I loved how large the kit turned out, almost the size of my Xi or Kshatriya but definitely far cheaper. It's a very simple build with minimal stickers, and I definitely reccomend it for starter builders, especially given the generally larger parts sizes that the kit works with.

GBWC is coming up soon, so I think my next build will be starting on my submission. See you then!

The Domino Effect
Summary: Shaak Ti was often tempted to save some clone kids. AU, where she finally goes for it. And the ties of siblinghood run strong among the clones.
An impromptu ficlet, ~1000 words. Enjoy 🙂.
Force acts in mysterious ways, thinks Shaak Ti when she walks by the cadet barracks late in their night cycle and overhears the argument. Apparently, someone who doesn’t want to be called Hevy decided to go AWOL, and 99 is trying to persuade him otherwise.
Supervising kids that are raised with a sole purpose—to fight and die for the Republic—is a morally challenging task. Shaak has been tempted multiple times just to take on board as many kids as she can and whisk them far from this madness. Something tips the scales, finally, as she steps into the vast barracks and speaks, “So, you want to get away, cadet?”
They both freeze in shock.
“No, General, sir. Hevy wasn’t going to—” 99 begins, but not-Hevy interrupts him, staring with a desperate defiance.
“Yes, sir. I was planning to go AWOL.”
Shaak stares him back, but the kid, almost a grown-up—or what goes as grown-up nowadays, the cadets are shipped away even at a younger age than at the beginning of the war—does not budge.
“Alright,” says Shaak. “Is this your stuff? Take it and let’s go to my ship.”
“Sir?”
“You want to go AWOL? I can take you off-world on my ship. No one would dare search for you there.”
Not-Hevy grabs the bag with whatever he can claim as his own, but then hesitates.
“Sir, with your permission. My brother, CT-4040. Trainer Bric has it against him. He would do anything so that CT-4040 doesn’t pass his final test.” His eyes go wider as it dawns upon him how implausible the chance Shaak is offering him and how close he might be to failure by asking even more of her. He finishes nonetheless. “May I… may you take him away, too?”
Shaak’s confidence that she is doing the right thing blooms.
“Yes. You may take your brother with you.”
***
“Sir?”
“Yes, CT-4040?”
“Cutup, sir. My name is Cutup,” he glances at CT-782, who is stubbornly not Hevy. “Since tonight. So… Droidbait. CT-782, we’re not leaving him behind, like we did during the simulation, do we?”
Leaving behind during the simulation, this sounds very familiar. “Cadets, what squad are you from?” Shaak asks and nods upon the name, knowing already what comes. “I understand. Go for your brother, and bring Fives and CT-1409 along, too.”
***
“99, I am not leaving without you. We all owe you.”
The aged clone shakes his head, “No, Hevy. You go with the General. As for me, there are a few other troubled brothers that need my support here.”
Of course, five pairs of near-identical eyes stare at Shaak hopefully at the words. “General? You have some more space on your ship, don’t you, sir?”
She sighs. “Just be quiet. It is getting serious, so from now on, let's make it a stealth mission.”
“You've heard the General. It is a stealth mission.”
Exasperated groans, “We're standing right here, Echo,” follow.
***
“Sir?” Fives tugs at her sleeve with suspicious shyness. “It may sound crazy, but… Well, there is a girl here.”
“Oh, not again!”
“Don’t listen to him, General. He is making it all up. He has never met a girl in his life.”
“Well, I did! I keep telling you, and you idiots, refuse to believe me!” Fives snaps. “Sir, there is a girl here, working in the hospital. I met her. I talked to her.”
***
There is a girl, indeed. Experimental Medical Researcher 003, EMR-003 for short, whom Shaak has never met and never seen in any official documents. Moreso, she has never even heard of the Jango female clone program. And this gets extremely suspicious now. Her hunting instincts and the Force both sing to her that she is on the trail of something bigger.
“I am not the only one here, sir. There is one more girl, at least. She is different, but she is also one of us. I can get her out of the lab, I know the way.”
***
Another girl is different, for sure. Shaak can't grasp what is different about this kid—a five-year-old cadet at the most. Not the blond hair, there is a number of blond cadets around. There is something else, something elusive.
“Oh, you want to take us all off-world?” Omega, not EMR-something, notes Shaak, looks at the gang of clones with contagious joy and amazement. Cutup winks at her, and she waves back at him enthusiastically. “We must take my brothers with us!”
“We are all your brothers,” says no-longer-CT-1409-but-still-rather-reluctant Echo serenely.
“I know! But those are… They are my little brothers! And,” she saddens, her childish voice dropping almost to a whisper. “There are only four of them left.”
Shaak sighs. Alright, four more little kids, not a big difference.
***
…they happen to be not quite little kids, and it is finally clear what is different about Omega. The list of questions and problems grows ever longer. Shaak has hunted down and bitten more than she can chew.
She needs to take someone into the partnership in crime—Plo, most likely. And Obi Wan, who found Kamino in the first place, may have some valuable insights…
But first things first. Her navicomputer is still calculating the hyperspace route when a fight erupts in the back of the ship. And Fives is proudly showing EMR-003 around the ship, despite being here for the first time himself. Half of his explanations are totally wrong. Lanky, bespectacled cadet who has confidently strapped himself in the copilot seat and already asked Shaak three questions in a row, turns around and begins to correct him. Someone is asking loudly over the clamour whether her Jedi ship is equipped with guns.
Only 99 gazes silently into the starry void, mesmerised. Looking in his wizened face, Shaak Ti realises that this is his first time in space, despite his long and respectable age of thirteen.

"Bana haber ver." Her yayın öncesi özel davet bekliyor bu insanlar. Ben oturup tek tek "aa yayınım başlıyor hadi izle" diye hatırlatma yapacağım. Alarm mıyım ben. Her hafta aynı saatte, aynı yerde işte. 3. "Link at." Bakın atar mısın da değil. Link at. Ben de emre amade bir askerim burada. Bütün dünya duracak, her işimi bırakacağım, link atacağım. Her şeyin ayaklarına gelmesini bekliyorlar. Bir de emir cümlesi kuruyorlar. Ciddi anlamda sinirleniyorum.

Best Practices and Tips in EMR Implementation

Any healthcare organization’s performance depends on the implementation of electronic medical records (EMR). EMR is one of the most important tool for healthcare providers as a result of the most current technological advancements. However, putting EMR into practice can be difficult and intimidating. This is why it’s important to have a plan in place that details the many processes required to implement an EMR successfully. In this blog we will explore the best practices and tips for EMR implementation.
The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software can be a challenging process as healthcare organizations continue to move towards digital record keeping. A well-thought-out plan is necessary to ensure the system’s smooth implementation. Here are some helpful recommendations and methods for implementing EMR
Steps for EMR implementation

I'm bored here's my reviews of apple pencil tips
Regular (think the ones your pencil comes with and official Apple replacement ones): Okay, reliable, slippery even on matte protectors, wear down fast, I find I draw harder with these and cause unnecessary wrist strain. I gotta modify my pressure settings for these, specifically
Metal: Don't wear down, usually sensitive, massacres screen protectors so I just buy a ton of cheap ones, ideal if you need to train yourself to draw/write with a lighter hand and will do so due to anxiety of damaging your ipad like I do with these (I use these the most), feel good like nice a ballpoint pen. I find them the best with a matte protector in terms of feel, but definitely not protector longevity
Stronger plastic over metal (usually these are clear): Solid, last a long time, feel the same on regular protectors as original tips but are more rounded and can be moody after you wear down the plastic on matte protectors, not many sellers of these, feel good though, second favorite
Mesh tip caps: last longer than rubber, decent friction, get dirty easily due to wax? layer on them if you take your pencil places, not many sellers
Rubber tip caps: super cheap, just don't last, too grabby for my taste even on glossy regular screen protectors
#I also buy wacom one tips for my s pen (s6 lite) for the more rounded bigger tip I recommend that#it feels WAY better if you don't just have a bigger EMR pen to use on galaxy tabs#Never tried the metal ones for that though#vena vents#not art#Seems most EMR pens with replaceable tips do have the same size and tip format but always double check

whos going to the playoffs sky or sparks
Sky. For sure Sky.
Very ironic because James Wade DUMPED THEM!!! He literally abandoned them.
But it seems like Emre is an okay coach! He had just two months of head coach experience at Cukurova in October and November 2022. And the Cukurova girls (Chelsea Gray, DB, JJ, Tip, Briann) got tired of him? Or the owner or general manager got tired of him? They fired his ass! I don't know what happened lol but Cukurova fired him.
Oh well! He's in the playoffs now!
And Curt Miller... is not in the playoffs!!! Crazy. Absolutely crazy for LA's season to go the way it did.

How to Train Staff on Using Clinic Management Software Effectively
Introduction: Staff Adoption = Success
Adopting a clinic management software program is only half the struggle. The remaining part, and potentially more challenging component, is getting your team to use it effectively. An empirical approach shows that, in clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations, the quality of care is greatly dependent on the operational efficiency of your practice. However, it doesn't matter how good your technology is; it can all go to waste if your staff doesn't have the right training around it to use it in the right way.
Whether it be front-desk staff booking the appointments for patients, nurses completing patient updates, or doctors pulling EMR software into their practices, your staff's engagement in using the platform directly impacts patient experience, internal communication, and ultimately your clinic's bottom line. A detailed, well-thought-out training plan will build a bridge for thoughtful and seamless adoption, overcome potential change resistance, and help you leverage the full extent of your investment.
This article will run through some of the common training barriers, provide you with a practical onboarding plan, offer some helpful tips for ongoing education, and demonstrate the dive
Here are ways Clinthora's support center can support you when implementing your software.
Common Training Obstacles
Even the most advanced clinic management system can meet resistance if your staff feel rushed or unprepared to learn the new system. Let's look at some of the common challenges clinics face when implementing new software.
1. Resistance to Change
Many medical professionals are used to using legacy systems or may be using a paper-based operation. While digital tools can provide better efficiency and organization, switching to use tools, either software for scheduling or EMR tools, can seem very intimidating. Without the necessary feasible follow-up, some tasks that could be relatively simple can suddenly feel very complicated.
2. Varied Tech Skills Levels
Some staff are on the leading edge with technology, being part of a tech-savvy Gen Z, while other staff may still use ancient methods more aligned with their generation. The differences in the skills of your staff members may be an obstacle to a consistent adoption rate. The fact is that a standard training program doesn't address different experiences and skills from the start.
3. Limited Time to Train
Important to busy clinics, but still difficult to manage, allocating dedicated time for software training can be a struggle for the busiest clinics. Instead, clinics provide reinforcement in the form of rushed or incomplete training that adds to confusion and inefficiencies.
4. Complexity of Multi-location management
Once clinics are running across different locations, then keeping a consistent training program when clinics can create their own workflows quickly, loses the significance of implementing a standardized software approach.
5. Lack of ongoing support
Initial training is valuable, but all staff need continual reinforcement fed back into their work. Information that staff can help themselves to format engaging resources is very helpful, allowing for a continued practice of changing habits, meeting key objectives, and taking steps.
Step-By-Step Onboarding Process for New Staff
There are challenges associated with successful onboarding, and it is critical that you have a structure in place for onboarding staff that accounts for your clinic's needs. Here is a step-by-step strategy for getting staff trained on clinic management software.
Step 1: Current Technology Assessment
Before getting into features of the software, you will want to evaluate your team's current processes and technological knowledge in order to determine who requires training on what. For example, receptionists may need to be more trained on how to schedule and make appointments, while doctors may need to know more about the EMR software.
Actions:
Do a simple skill assessment
Roll out the roles and associate them with the features required
Gauge the current bottlenecks
Step 2: Define Goals
Delineating the end goals of your training program will keep the sessions focused and help you measure outcomes.
Examples:
Receptionists should make an appointment and/or change appointments in under 60 seconds
Nurses should accurately document vitals and notes in the EMR.
Doctors should have access to the past medical history in 3 clicks.
Step 3: Role-Specific Training Modules
To be more effective, consider role-based training to avoid overwhelming staff with features that do not apply to their training.
Admin Staff:
patient registration
billing and invoicing
front-desk scheduling
Nurses:
medical history updates
lab reports
notes and vitals entry
Doctors:
EMR access
e-prescriptions
doctor-patient communications tools
Managers:
Managing a multi-location clinic
tracking staff and analytics
compliance and reporting
Step 4: Utilise Real Situations
Utilize as many simulations of common clinic situations as possible. For instance, "A patient cancels at the last minute. What steps do you take in the system?" This kind of context-based learning will help your staff retain much more than a theoretical walkthrough.
Step 5: Utilize Multimodal Learning
Plan to offer a combination of video tutorials, live demos, printable cheat sheets, and Q&As. Different people learn in different ways, so this gives staff the best chance of learning your system.
Step 6: Provide Hands-On Practice
Create a "sandbox" version of the clinic management software so your staff can safely play around and experiment without risking messing up real patient data. Allowing your staff to practice at their own pace prior to going live can be a huge benefit.
Step 7: Assess and Certify
After you complete the training, it may be useful to have short assessments or practical tasks. This provides accountability for your staff and ensures that they are confident in their abilities.
Benefits of Certification:
Encourages staff to take the training seriously
Acknowledges staff efforts
Tracks the effectiveness of training
Step 8: Go Live in Phases
Do not have all departments go live at once. Instead, start with one team or location, observe how the software is being used, fix problems, and continue expanding.
Strategies for Ongoing Learning
Once your staff has completed onboarding, it is important to provide training and reinforcements on a regular basis since the healthcare landscape moves rapidly, and your clinic management system will constantly get updates. Here are some strategies to help the learning of multi-train directional
1. Monthly Refresher Workshops
Offer short, role-based workshops that may introduce new features or optimally use the system. This could be a 30-minute workshop on using the appointment scheduling software to handle no-shows.
2. Leverage Microlearning
Offer videos or weekly tips that are 3-5 minute videos via email or your internal messaging tool. Research has shown that short content is easier to consume, and smaller bits go a long way to help one remember new information.
3. Enable Peer Learning
Have an internal knowledge exchange service available. Major users of the system become resources to help others through peer coaching or informal lunch and learn sessions.
4. Solicit Feedback regularly
Be sure to ask, often, for feedback on the system and the training materials. Gathering feedback from staff helps surface usability issues and gaps in training early on.
Feedback Questions:
What is the feature you use the most?
What is the task that takes you too long to do?
What part of the system is confusing?
5. Track Usage Metrics
Use built-in analytics to monitor which staff members are actively using which modules. Spotting underutilization can help tailor refresher sessions.
6. Recognize Achievements
Celebrate quick learners or departments that use the software most efficiently. Recognition builds motivation and a culture of tech adoption.
