Do you think there's a "too late" to start creating for a fandom? I got into TSP just recently pretty much, and while I love writing fanfics for it and even doing some art, I just worry a lot.

It may just be because Tumblr isn't a good place to share anything anyways. Or posting writing daily is too much for people. Or I'm overthinking!

But I admire your art and I love seeing you on my dash a lot! From TSP to your OCs and all the other things c:

Emptynarration im holding your hand so sweetly and saying no, it’s never too late to create art for media you love. TSPUD has been out for almost 3 years now but I still find there’s art I want to make about it. Hell, there’s people who’ve been making stuff since the original release in 2013. There are women in their 70s who’ve been making Star Trek fanfic for the past 30 years. It’s never too late. It can be hard to get started and seen for sure. It’s scary. It can be hard to find the right tags/audiance (although I’d argue tumblr is at least better than twitter, where if u don’t take off in the first hour you get drowned out lol.) But it’s always worth it to put your stuff out there if you want to, and more importantly to create it in the first place.

Once the whumpee passed out from being strangled, and didn't receive air for a while afterwards, would they start breathing again once their airways are free? Would they not be breathing still and need CPR?

The severity of their breathing issues will depend on how long and how much pressure was put during the strangulation. Very little pressure on both the carotid arteries and/or veins is necessary to cause unconsciousness; they could pass out in ten seconds and then if the pressure is immediately released, they can wake up again within ten seconds afterward. They’ll probably still have bruising and swelling of the neck that makes it harder to swallow, speak and breathe. 

To completely close off the trachea, they’ll need to use three times as much pressure (33 lbs.) In that case, they could dissect the carotid arteries and risk brain damage from oxygen deprivation and blood clots. Brain death can occur in four to five minutes if the strangling continues.

It all happened so quickly.

Earlier that morning, Marvin stood up at the breakfast table and announced that he wanted to hold a magic show in the Manor theater. Of course, with Dark as the leader of the household, he had every right to say no. But, the fused ego has to admit that he finds it amusing to watch the magician fail. So, he insisted upon everyone meeting in the theatre after breakfast.

He sat in one of the rows further away from the stage with his husband Wilford Warfstache at his side. He should have know things were going to go horribly wrong when Marvin finally appeared on stage and asked the only two egos in the front row, Anti and Host, to be his volunteers for a new trick.

Dark was expecting this new trick to be something stupid and pointless, like making one of the egos disappear and reappear, or a stupid card game that's based purely on luck. But no. Marvin used actual dark magic this time instead of his normal capabilities. Dark watched with fear in the back of his mind as Marvin pulled out a wand and pointed it at Anti and Host. A puff of smoke surrounds the stage for a long moment. When it finally clears...

Anti and Host are not the egos they used to be.

The beach wasn’t somewhere Damien normally visited early in the morning, but the weather was so nice after the storm of the previous night. Not only that, it was the weekend, so he wasn’t needed in City Hall. It would be the perfect time to walk and clear his head from the crazy week.

He had walked to a quieter part of the beach when he noticed something unusual - a man wrapped in a net. Without a second thought, Damien hurried over and began trying to untangle the stranger. In a flash, he realised that what he assumed was a man turned into a fish halfway. That only brought a sense of panic. How did a merfolk get beached on the shore? Not only that, what would happen if someone saw them?

Early attempts to loosen the net resulted in the creature panicking and thrashing. At least his hurried explanation prompted the other’s actions to cease. He glanced over in time to see the creature looking at him, and he realised what must have happened.

“I’m so sorry for startling you. I had no idea.” Damien kept his voice soft as he attempted to work. “I’m not sure what happened, but you appear to be tangled in a net about twenty feet from the water. Once I manage to get you loose, would it be alright for me to help you back to the ocean?” It would be safer there than on land.

people will always steal ideas. especially since they're ideas -how can someone prove they didn't just have the same idea themselves? i'd be pretty sad to see you stop, but it'd be understandable. content will always be stolen, no matter what. there's just no way to prevent that

Cautious, Illinois tries to back up a bit. He hasn’t had good interactions with Author, and as of such he doesn’t know what to expect from Host. His eyes narrow, but he gives a small lazy smile nonetheless.

“Hello, Host. Lookin’ hot~” he winks. “I think it depends on who you ask and what they believe and done. I know a few animal heavens have dibs on me, but I’m trying to politely turn down bee heaven... bee heaven isn’t fun. What about you? Where do you think you’ll go, Partner?”
