Today was go-go-go all day long. I saw lots of family and truly enjoyed myself (first time in a loooong time I’ve had a big gathering(s) go this well for me!)! I took a ton of pictures too but today I’m most thankful for me and the hard work I’ve put into myself. I was able to ask myself what I needed and whatever that was I did it. Вечер — любимое время суток. Никакой суеты, только отдых, общение с близкими, баловство внутреннего ребёнка. Заказать каскару или матча-латте в любимой кофейне. Сесть за столик и смотреть в окно на оживлённый проспект. Пройтись по набережной перед сном, освежить мысли. В тумане свет фонарей на мосту рассеивается. Окружающий мир кажется нереальным. Волшебство рядом, только руку протяни.

Невидимый спутник - Mitsouko Guerlain в концентрации парфюмерной воды. Перечитываю старые записи в блоге и удивляюсь, как изменилось восприятие. Пять лет назад был меланхоличным осенним парфюмом. Сейчас - обещание тёплого апреля с набрякшими почками, первыми зелеными листьями и травами.

Любит и греет, как тонкой выделки перчатки замёрзшие пальцы. Путается в волосах, глядит бледную кожу, скользит невидимым солнечным зайчиком по улицам. В воздухе пахнет оголившейся землёй. Влажный землистый фон подчеркивает красоту композиции. Бергамотовый верх, мшистое дно. Посередине персик в масле и пепел розы на густой подложке из ветивера. Тонкая галантерейная замша и жасминовая бутоньерка. Вьются луговые травы с тонкими венчиками. Исчезли. Опять проявились. Играют. Всё изящно, на полутонах.

В прохладные мартовские дни Mitsouko ведет себя отстранённо, но это только на первый взгляд. Внутри мшисто-ветиверного панциря бесконечные розы и персики, тёплый ветерок и большая любовь.

Too often, our focus is on how empty is our own cup. Sometimes it takes a while before we realise that we're not taking care of ourselves as we lose ourselves in our concern for others. So we begin to focus on filling our cup so that the emotional fatigue can finally be overcome. Sadly, we don't stop to consider if we're capable of filling our cup because we don't realise that it may be broken. Wounds from the past leave cracks and breaks in spaces that we hope others will mend, not realising that only we hold the key towards mending those cracks. Sometimes, we don't realise that someone we love may have a broken cup, and we exhaust ourselves in trying to fill their cup, believing ourselves to be inadequate in our efforts to make them feel loved enough to want to love us in return. That's why it's important to heal before you try to find a home for your heart. And equally important is the realisation that sometimes it's not your inadequacy that makes it difficult for them to love you back, but rather their belief in not being worthy of your love that prevents them from embracing you. Breathe, beloved...slow, rhythmic, deep breaths that fill those spaces left by the calloused hands that handled the most fragile parts of you. Breathe. Be whole. And then return to love. It's already been 1 week since that horrible day. 1 week since lives were lost, buildings were destroyed, and ammonium nitrate infiltrated the pores of the city. A toxic trigger revitalizing the trauma, without boundaries, of all who have ever known her. A desperate search for release through providing emotional support, online donations, and social media awareness.
