This new tea is hitting on the day they leave for their Colombian vacation trip?!?!? This is delicious 🍿
And the fact there's been no pap walks confirms to me there's chaos at Casa Harkle.
Something is off about what a big deal the media is making about this guy's (already forgot his name) departure. Afterall staff leaves their employ all the damn time. I don't think it has to do with it being a slow royal news month. My guess is that he has made some noise on his way out and spilled the beans to certain people, and word has gotten around.

The Department of Homeland Security is facing a lawsuit after Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas refused to explain why a former spokesperson for the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) was still employed by the department months after The Daily Wire exposed her support for terrorism and extreme anti-Semitism.
Nejwa Ali was hired by the U.S. government to “perform credible fear interviews by reviewing evidence, credibility, and determine admissibility” of asylum-seekers. While working for DHS, her social media consisted largely of a jihad against Jews, posting memes celebrating Hamas terrorists paragliding into a dance festival with guns, writing “F*** Israel, the government, and its military. Are you ready for your downfall?” and sharing videos with captions like “F*** Israel and any Jew that supports Israel,” The Daily Wire revealed October 18.
DHS said it put her on leave after that story, but six months later, she was still being paid, gloating online about her unpaid leave and seeming to suggest that Mayorkas was protecting her. On social media, when somebody commented on her page, “When you do everything you can to get fired but the boss says NO,” she responded, “hilarious, seriously.
The department violated the Freedom of Information Act by refusing to provide documents about Ali in response to a November request, according to a new lawsuit filed by the Center to Advance Security in America (CASA) against DHS.
The FOIA sought “records related to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Adjudication Officer Nejwa Ali and a potential conflict of interest in administering her duties,” exploring whether she ushered in dangerous Palestinians or denied entry to Israelis.

thinking about Larys’s no-tongue death row refugee goons from S1E06 again. i’m assuming he still has them in his employ he gave them uniforms and badges and everything. does he get them to do busy work around the dungeon. swapping out pisspots. sweeping up the ripped out fingernails. does he send them out for snack runs when he and alicent run out of like fantasy baklava on their psychological abuse appointment date. does he make them roleplay as her so he can practice his evil monologues. do they do recon around casa Mysaria and communicate the cool tactics she’s using via charades so larys can swipe all the papers off his desk in a rage and stew the rest of the night like a serious man does. do you think they practice the art of Mime on breaks.

Marines hit operational status with second carrier-capable F35-C unit
Todd SouthJul 31, 2024 at 04:56 PM
A West Coast Marine F-35C Lightning II squadron has achieved initial operational capability.
The Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 311, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, hit that key milestone Wednesday, 1st Lt. Madison Walls, wing spokeswoman told Marine Corps Times. The status means a unit can employ, maintain and train on the jet.
The Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, unit conducted its first independent live ordnance operations July 25.
“Initial operational capability is a milestone and achievement in readiness,” said Lt. Col. Michael Fisher, commanding officer of VMFA-311 in a statement. “It’s all on the backs of the Marines out there. What they do in their day-to-day actions is what made this possible.”
The squadron, also known as the Tomcats, flew more than 900 sorties, which equals nearly 1,700 flight hours and another 800 simulator hours and 2,400 maintenance actions to reach initial operational capability, according to a service release.
“The Tomcats have a storied history that includes legends such as Ted Williams and John Glenn, and participation in every major conflict since World War II,” Maj. Gen. James Wellons, commanding general of 3rd MAW, said in the release. “Today’s Marines add another chapter to that legacy with the introduction of the F-35C and fifth-generation capabilities to VMFA-311.”

In 2020, the squadron deactivated its AV-8 Harrier jets and then reactivated in April 2023 with 84 Marines and one F-35, reflecting the Marine Corps’ move to fifth-generation fighter aircraft. The transition has resulted in a gradual reduction in Harriers and F/A-18 Hornets.
The Corps’ two F-35C squadrons, VMFA-311 and VMFA-314, are both stationed at Miramar.
The VMFA-314, or Black Knights, reached initial operational capability in 2020, Marine Corps Times previously reported.
The F-35C is specifically engineered for carrier-based operations, featuring heavier landing gear and enlarged, foldable wings designed to facilitate catapult launches and arrestments on aircraft carriers. The foldable wingtips also facilitate easier storage on the carrier deck.
The “C” variant holds more fuel than other versions of the single-seat jet, with nearly 20,000 pounds of internal fuel capacity for long-range flights.
“The next step for VMFA-311 is full operational capability, attained when VMFA-311 receives its complete inventory of ten F-35C aircraft, projected for fiscal year 2025,” according to the release.
The Marine Corps has used the F-35B for years. The “B” variant, built to use short runways and flat-decked amphibious assault ships, is capable of short take-offs and vertical landings.
Currently, the Corps has eight operational F-35B squadrons and two training squadrons, totaling over 100 F-35B aircraft globally.

Mozambique's rubies: A blessing or a curse? | DW Documentary
youtube
In Mozambique, agriculture is the mainstay of the economy and the country has a great potential for growth in the sector. Agriculture employs more than 80 percent of the labour force and provides livelihoods to the vast majority of over 23 million inhabitants. Agriculture contributed 31.5 percent of the GDP in 2009, while commerce and services accounted for 44.9 percent. By contrast, 20 percent of the total export value in 2009 originated from the agriculture sector, mostly through the export of fish (mainly shrimps and prawns), timber, copra, cashew nuts and citrus, cotton, coconuts, tea and tobacco.[14]
There are large mineral deposits, but exploration has been constrained by the civil war (1977–1992) and poor infrastructure. The World Bank has estimated that there was the potential for exports worth US$200m by 2005 – in the late 1990s they totaled US$3.6m, some 1% of total exports, and a contribution of less than 2% of GDP. Minerals currently being mined include marble, bentonite, coal, gold, bauxite, granite, titanium and gemstones. Illegal exports from artisanal production are estimated at US$50 million.[original research?]
Mozambique exported its first batch of coal in 2011 and expects to become the world's largest coal exporter. It is also spending about US$50 billion in infrastructure projects to access its coal reserves. Mozambique is reported to have the fourth largest reserves of natural gas in the world, after Russia, Iran, and Qatar.[20]
The Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral[1] (Portuguese: Catedral Metropolitana de Nossa Senhora do Rosário) also called Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary, is located in Beira,[2][3] a town in the African country of Mozambique[4] and is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Beira.
Beira is where the Pungwe River meets the Indian Ocean. It is the fourth-largest city by population in Mozambique, after Maputo, Matola and Nampula. Beira had a population of 397,368 in 1997, which grew to 530,604 in 2019. A coastal city, it holds the regionally significant Port of Beira, which acts as a gateway for both the central interior portion of the country as well as the land-locked nations of Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi.
A marina (from Spanish [maˈɾina], Portuguese [mɐˈɾinɐ] and Italian [maˈriːna]: "related to the sea") is a dock or basin with moorings and supplies for yachts and small boats. A marina differs from a port in that a marina does not handle large passenger ships or cargo from freighters.
A fishmonger (historically fishwife for female practitioners) is someone who sells raw fish and seafood. Fishmongers can be wholesalers or retailers and are trained at selecting and purchasing, handling, gutting, boning, filleting, displaying, merchandising and selling their product. In some countries modern supermarkets are replacing fishmongers who operate in shops or fish markets.

Gross national product (GNP) GNP is related to another important economic measure called gross domestic product (GDP), which takes into account all output produced within a country's borders regardless of who owns the means of production. GNP starts with GDP, adds residents' investment income from overseas investments, and subtracts foreign residents' investment income earned within a country. Whilst GDP measures the total value of goods and services produced within a country's borders, GNP focuses on the income generated by its residents, regardless of their location.
Gross National Income (GNI) is the total amount of money earned by a nation's people and businesses. It is used to measure and track a nation's wealth from year to year. The number includes the nation's gross domestic product (GDP) plus the income it receives from overseas sources.

Supporting Striker (Inverted Winger)
Central Winger (False 10)
Overlapping Run/Defensive Winger (Half-winger)
An inverted winger is a modern tactical development of the traditional winger position. Most wingers are assigned to either side of the field based on their footedness, with right-footed players on the right and left-footed players on the left.[65] This assumes that assigning a player to their natural side ensures a more powerful cross as well as greater ball protection along the touch-lines. However, when the position is inverted and a winger instead plays inside-out on the opposite flank (i.e., a right-footed player as a left inverted winger), they effectively become supporting strikers and primarily assume a role in the attack.[66]
The "false 10" or "central winger"[55] is a type of midfielder, which differs from the trequartista. Much like the "false 9", their specificity lies in the fact that, although they seemingly play as an attacking midfielder on paper, unlike a traditional playmaker who stays behind the striker in the centre of the pitch, the false 10's goal is to move out of position and drift wide when in possession of the ball to help both the wingers and fullbacks to overload the flanks. This means two problems for the opposing midfielders: either they let the false 10 drift wide, and their presence, along with both the winger and the fullback, creates a three-on-two player advantage out wide; or they follow the false 10, but leave space in the centre of the pitch for wingers or onrushing midfielders to exploit. False 10s are usually traditional wingers who are told to play in the centre of the pitch, and their natural way of playing makes them drift wide and look to provide deliveries into the box for teammates.
In Italian football, the term mezzala (literally "half-winger" in Italian) is used to describe the position of the one or two central midfielders who play on either side of a holding midfielder and/or playmaker. The term was initially applied to the role of an inside forward in the WM and Metodo formations in Italian, but later described a specific type of central midfielder. The mezzala is often a quick and hard-working attack-minded midfielder, with good skills and noted offensive capabilities, as well as a tendency to make overlapping attacking runs, but also a player who participates in the defensive aspect of the game, and who can give width to a team by drifting out wide; as such, the term can be applied to several different roles.
On occasion, the false-10 can also function in a different manner alongside a false-9, usually in a 4–6–0 formation. Midfield collective of False 9, False 10, Box to Box, Holding, Half Winger, Attacking, Defensive.
Thiago Motta’s ‘Super Offensive’ 2-7-2 Formation Explained: Instead of the traditional way of looking at a tactical set-up horizontally, the Brazil-born manager instead split the field into three vertical lanes. This means he effectively has seven players in the central channel with two players out wide on each flank.

The language emerged from contact between French settlers and enslaved Africans during the Atlantic slave trade in the French colony of Saint-Domingue (now Haiti) in the 17th and 18th centuries. Although its vocabulary largely derives from 18th-century French, its grammar is that of a West African Volta-Congo language branch, particularly the Fongbe and Igbo languages.

Go Go Music Influenced, Eurphoric Trance Chord Progression Melody, Progressive House and Drum n' Bass Percussion-808 Call and Response Staccato Polyrhythm or Layered Kick and Punch 808.
In his 1972 study of French lute music, scholar Wallace Rave compiled a list of features he believed to be characteristic of style brisé. Rave's list included the following: the avoidance of textural pattern and regularity in part writing; arpeggiated chord textures with irregular distribution of individual notes of the chord; ambiguous melodic lines; rhythmic displacement of notes within a melodic line; octave changes within melodic line; irregular phrase lengths.
Have the Snare and Kick say, "Hi, How are you?" And the 808 say, "I am good thanks for asking.”
Use progressive House to push the Drums Conversation to either Fast and Punchy for Happy or Slow and Deep for Sad.
In technical terms, "go-go's essential beat is characterized by a five through four syncopated rhythm that is underscored prominently by the bass drum and snare drum, and the hi-hat... [and] is ornamented by the other percussion instruments, especially by the conga drums, rototoms, and hand-held cowbells."[5]
Polyrhythm: In music, a cross-beat or cross-rhythm is a specific form of polyrhythm. The term cross rhythm was introduced in 1934 by the musicologist Arthur Morris Jones (1889–1980). It refers to a situation where the rhythmic conflict found in polyrhythms is the basis of an entire musical piece.[1]
Four-on-the-floor (or four-to-the-floor) is a rhythm used primarily in dance genres such as disco and electronic dance music. It is a steady, uniformly accented beat in 4. 4 time in which the bass drum is hit on every beat (1, 2, 3, 4).[1] This was popularized in the disco music of the 1970s[2] and the term four-on-the-floor was widely used in that era, since the beat was played with the pedal-operated, drum-kit bass drum.[3][4] (Punch 808-Kick)
Polyrhythm 4 on the Floor examples 2:4 or 5:4
Hard trance is often characterized by strong, hard (or even downpitch) kicks, fully resonant basses and an increased amount of reverberation applied to the main beat. Melodies vary from 140 to 180 BPMs and it can feature plain instrumental sound in early compositions, with the latter ones tending to implement side-chaining techniques of progressive on digital synthesizers.

Commercialism is the application of both manufacturing and consumption towards personal usage, or the practices, methods, aims, and distribution of products in a free market geared toward generating a profit.
Commercial art is art created for advertising or marketing purposes. Commercial artists are hired by clients to create images and logos that sell products. Unlike works of fine art that convey an artist's personal expression, commercial art must address the client's goals.
The word 'Commercial' is defined as follows: Concerned with or engaged in commerce. Commerce is the exchange of goods or services among two or more parties.
Craftsmen are committed to the medium, not to self-expression. Artists are committed to their self-expression, not the medium.
A medium of exchange is an intermediary instrument and system used to facilitate the purchase and sale of goods and services between parties.

IMPERIALISM, THE HIGHEST STAGE OF CAPITALISM
Imperialism, the Highest Stage of Capitalism,[1] originally published as Imperialism, the Newest Stage of Capitalism,[2][3] is a book written by Vladimir Lenin in 1916 and published in 1917. It describes the formation of oligopoly, by the interlacing of bank and industrial capital, in order to create a financial oligarchy, and explains the function of financial capital in generating profits from the exploitation colonialism inherent to imperialism, as the final stage of capitalism. The essay synthesises Lenin's developments of Karl Marx's theories of political economy in Das Kapital (1867).[4]

A clay-court specialist is a tennis player who excels on clay courts, more than on any other surface.
Due in part to advances in racquet technology, current clay-court specialists are known for employing long, winding groundstrokes that generate heavy topspin; such strokes are less effective on faster surfaces on which the balls do not bounce as high. Clay-court specialists tend to slide more effectively on clay than other players. Many of them are also very adept at hitting the drop shot, which can be effective because rallies on clay courts often leave players pushed far beyond the baseline. Additionally, the slow, long rallies require a great degree of mental focus and physical stamina.
CASAPIANOS MARTYROLOGY ORDER (CATHOLIC COUNTER-REFORMATION)
The Casa Pia is a Portuguese institution founded by Maria I, known as A Pia ("Mary the Pious"), and organized by Police Intendant Pina Manique in 1780, following the social disarray of the 1755 Lisbon earthquake. For almost three centuries, thousands of young boys and girls were raised by Casa Pia, including many public personalities, called casapianos. Casa Pia is Portugal's largest educational institution dedicated to helping youngsters in risk of social exclusion or without parental support. The organisation is composed of ten schools and enrolls approximately 4700 students. In addition to standard schooling, the organisation also provides boarding for children in need. It strives to enable these youngsters to become healthy and successful members of society, by developing intellectual, manual, and physical traits, in an environment promoting spiritual, moral, and religious values. The institution is proud to have had amongst its students many outstanding Portuguese personalities, including politicians, journalists, and artists. A martyrology is a catalogue or list of martyrs and other saints and beati arranged in the calendar order of their anniversaries or feasts. Local martyrologies record exclusively the custom of a particular Church. Local lists were enriched by names borrowed from neighbouring churches.[1] Consolidation occurred, by the combination of several local martyrologies, with or without borrowings from literary sources.
The Canons Regular of St. Augustine are priests who live in community under a rule (Latin: regula and κανών, kanon, in Greek) and are generally organised into religious orders, differing from both secular canons and other forms of religious life, such as clerics regular, designated by a partly similar terminology. As religious communities, they have laybrothers as part of the community.
Clerics regular are clerics (mostly priests) who are members of a religious order under a rule of life (regular). Clerics regular differ from canons regular in that they devote themselves more to pastoral care, in place of an obligation to the praying of the Liturgy of the Hours in common, and have fewer observances in their rule of life.
Lay brother is a largely extinct term referring to religious brothers, particularly in the Catholic Church, who focused upon manual service and secular matters, and were distinguished from choir monks or friars in that they did not pray in choir, and from clerics, in that they were not in possession of (or preparing for) holy orders.[1][2][3][4][5]
In female religious institutes, the equivalent role is the lay sister. Lay brothers were originally created to allow those who were skilled in particular crafts or did not have the required education to study for holy orders to participate in and contribute to the life of a religious order.
Lay brothers were found in many religious orders. Drawn from the working classes, they were pious and hardworking people, who though unable to achieve the education needed to receive holy orders, were still drawn to religious life and were able to contribute to the order through their skills. Some were skilled in artistic handicrafts, others functioned as administrators of the orders' material assets. In particular, the lay brothers of the Cistercians were skilled in agriculture, and have been credited for the tilling of fertile farmland.[1]
Lay sisters were found in most of the orders of women, and their origin, like that of the lay brothers, is to be found in the necessity of providing the choir nuns with more time for the Office and study, as well as creating the opportunity for the illiterate to join the religious life. They, too, wore a habit different from those of the choir sisters, and their required daily prayers consisted of prayers such as the Little Office or a certain number of Paters.[1]
All canons regular are to be distinguished from secular canons who belong to a resident group of priests but who do not take public vows and are not governed in whatever elements of life they lead in common by a historical rule. One obvious place where such groups of priests are required is at a cathedral, where there were many Masses to celebrate and the Divine Office to be prayed together in community.
In modern astrology, Mars is the primary native ruler of the first house. Traditionally however, Mars ruled both the third and tenth houses, and had its joy in the fifth house. While Venus tends to the overall relationship atmosphere, Mars is the passionate impulse and action, the masculine aspect, discipline, willpower and stamina.
Mars rules over Tuesday and in Romance languages the word for Tuesday often resembles Mars (in Romanian, marți, in Spanish, martes, in French, mardi and in Italian "martedì"). The English "Tuesday" is a modernised form of "Tyr's Day", Tyr being the Germanic analogue to Mars. Dante Alighieri associated Mars with the liberal art of arithmetic. In Chinese astrology, Mars is ruled by the element fire, which is passionate, energetic and adventurous.
According to John Clements, the term martial arts itself is derived from an older Latin term meaning "arts of Mars", the Roman god of war, and was used to refer to the combat systems of Europe (European martial arts) as early as the 1550s
A religious congregation is a type of religious institute in the Catholic Church. They are legally distinguished from religious orders – the other major type of religious institute – in that members take simple vows, whereas members of religious orders take solemn vows.
In the Catholic Church, a religious order is a community of consecrated life with members that profess solemn vows. They are classed as a type of religious institute.[1]

Material religion is a framework used by scholars of religion to examine the interaction between religion and material culture. It focuses on the place of objects, images, spaces, and buildings in religious communities. The framework has been promoted by scholars such as Birgit Meyer, Sally Promey, S. Brent Plate, David Morgan, etc.
Physiocracy (French: physiocratie; from the Greek for "government of nature") is an economic theory developed by a group of 18th-century Age of Enlightenment French economists who believed that the wealth of nations derived solely from the value of "land agriculture" or "land development" and that agricultural products should be highly priced.[1] Their theories originated in France and were most popular during the second half of the 18th century. Physiocracy became one of the first well-developed theories of economics.
The Bible typically describes the Heavenly host as being made up of angels, and gives several descriptions of angels in military terms, such as their encampment (Genesis 32:1–2), command structure (Psalms 91:11–12; Matt.13:41; Rev.7:2), and participation in combat (Job 19:12; Rev.12:7). Other passages indicate other entities make up the divine army, namely stars (Judges 5:20, Isaiah 40:26).[1][full citation needed] In Christian theology, the heavenly host participate in the war in Heaven.
The doctrine or theory of immanence holds that the divine encompasses or is manifested in the material world. It is held by some philosophical and metaphysical theories of divine presence. Immanence is usually applied in monotheistic, pantheistic, pandeistic, or panentheistic faiths to suggest that the spiritual world permeates the mundane.
The Dionysian Mysteries were a ritual of ancient Greece and Rome which sometimes used intoxicants and other trance-inducing techniques (like dance and music) to remove inhibitions and social constraints, liberating the individual to return to a natural state.
Religious nationalism can be understood in a number of ways, such as nationalism as a religion itself, a position articulated by Carlton Hayes in his text Nationalism: A Religion, or as the relationship of nationalism to a particular religious belief, dogma, ideology, or affiliation. This relationship can be broken down into two aspects: the politicisation of religion and the influence of religion on politics.
Dioceses ruled by an archbishop are commonly referred to as archdioceses; most are metropolitan sees, being placed at the head of an ecclesiastical province. In the Catholic Church, some are suffragans of a metropolitan see or are directly subject to the Holy See.
The body of light, sometimes called the 'astral body'[a] or the 'subtle body,'[b] is a "quasi material"[1] aspect of the human body, being neither solely physical nor solely spiritual, posited by a number of philosophers, and elaborated on according to various esoteric, occult, and mystical teachings. Other terms used for this body include body of glory,[2] spirit-body, luciform body, augoeides ('radiant body'), astroeides ('starry or sidereal body'), and celestial body.[3] The concept derives from the philosophy of Plato: the word 'astral' means 'of the stars'; thus the astral plane consists of the Seven Heavens of the classical planets. The idea is rooted in common worldwide religious accounts of the afterlife[4] in which the soul's journey or "ascent" is described in such terms as "an ecstatic, mystical or out-of body experience, wherein the spiritual traveller leaves the physical body and travels in their body of light into 'higher' realms."[5]
The canon law of the Catholic Church (from Latin ius canonicum[1]) is "how the Church organizes and governs herself".[2] It is the system of laws and ecclesiastical legal principles made and enforced by the hierarchical authorities of the Catholic Church to regulate its external organization and government and to order and direct the activities of Catholics toward the mission of the Church.
An institute of consecrated life is an association of faithful in the Catholic Church canonically erected by competent church authorities to enable men or women who publicly profess the evangelical counsels by religious vows or other sacred bonds "through the charity to which these counsels lead to be joined to the Church and its mystery in a special way".[1] They are defined in the 1983 Code of Canon Law under canons 573–730. The Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life has ecclesial oversight of institutes of consecrated life.[2]
In Christianity, the three evangelical counsels, or counsels of perfection, are chastity (NEVER), poverty (or perfect charity), and obedience (RECKLESS ABANDONMENT).[1] As stated by Jesus in the canonical gospels,[2] they are counsels for those who desire to become "perfect" (τελειος, teleios).[3][4] The Catholic Church interprets this to mean that they are not binding upon all, and hence not necessary conditions to attain eternal life (heaven), but that they are "acts of supererogation", "over and above" the minimum stipulated in the biblical commandments.[5][6]
Catholics who have made a public profession to order their lives by the evangelical counsels, and confirmed this by public vows before their competent church authority (the act of religious commitment known as a profession), are recognised as members of the consecrated life.
The Council of Trent (Latin: Concilium Tridentinum), held between 1545 and 1563 in Trent (or Trento), now in northern Italy, was the 19th ecumenical council of the Catholic Church. Prompted by the Protestant Reformation at the time, it has been described as the embodiment of the Counter-Reformation. The Council issued key statements and clarifications of the Church's doctrine and teachings, including scripture, the biblical canon, sacred tradition, original sin, justification, salvation, the sacraments, the Mass, and the veneration of saints[4] and also issued condemnations of what it defined to be heresies committed by proponents of Protestantism. The consequences of the Council were also significant with regard to the Church's liturgy and censorship.
Initiated in part to address the challenges of the Protestant Reformations,[3] the Counter-Reformation was a comprehensive effort arising from the decrees of the Council of Trent. The effort produced apologetic and polemical documents, heresy trials, anti-corruption efforts, spiritual movements, the promotion of new religious orders, and the flourishing of new art and musical styles.
Tradwave is a Catholic artistic style using synthwave and vaporwave art to promote traditional catholicism. Tradwave usually uses traditional catholic paintings, sculptures, or photographs of saints, given with vaporwave effects, often with a bible verse or quote about catholicism. The art usually tries to convey a resurrection of catholic spirituality in the modern atheist world. Figures often depicted in Tradwave art include Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, Ven. Fulton Sheen, Cardinal Robert Sarah, and Mother Angelica.
Tradwave music often takes the form of two main styles. One of them is catholic hymns with vaporwave effects and traditional Vaporwave/Lo-Fi music. It can also have quotes from modern prolific Catholic figures, such as Ven. The other theme is Fulton Sheen and Cardinal Robert Sarah.
Heavenly Virtues: Another phrase to describe this obedience to the voice is “reckless abandon.” It simply means that we let God do what God wants to do through us. It means if He tells us to do something or say something—we do it.
Intercession or intercessory prayer is the act of praying to a deity on behalf of others, or asking a saint in heaven to pray on behalf of oneself or for others. Intercession of the Saints is a Christian doctrine that maintains that saints can intercede for others. To intercede is to go or come between two parties, to plead before one of them on behalf of the other. In ecclesiastical usage both words are taken in the sense of the intervention primarily of Christ, and secondarily of the Blessed Virgin and the angels and saints, on behalf of men.[2] The doctrine is held by the Catholic, Eastern Orthodox Churches, the Assyrian Church of the East, the Oriental Orthodox churches , and some Lutherans and Anglicans (chiefly those of Evangelical Catholic or Anglo-Catholic churchmanship, respectively).[3] The practice of asking saints for their intercession can be found in Christian writings from the 3rd century onwards.[4][5][6] Catholic doctrine supports intercessory prayer to saints. This practice is an application of the doctrine of the Communion of saints. Some of the early basis for this was the belief that martyrs passed immediately into the presence of God and could obtain graces and blessings for others, which naturally and immediately led to their direct invocation. A further reinforcement was derived from the cult of the angels which, while pre-Christian in its origin, was heartily embraced by the faithful of the sub-Apostolic age. The doctrine of intercession and invocation was set forth by the Council of Trent, which teaches that "... the saints who reign together with Christ offer up their own prayers to God for men. It is good and useful suppliantly to invoke them, and to have recourse to their prayers, aid, and help for obtaining benefits from God, through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, Who alone is our Redeemer and Saviour".[10] Intercessory prayer to saintly persons who have not yet been beatified can also practiced by individuals, and evidence of miracles produced as a result of such prayer is very commonly produced during the formal process of beatification and canonization.
In short, the gun-toting angel was a multifaceted metaphor. “It undoubtedly also reflected the Catholic Counter-Reformation militaristic rhetoric,” wrote Donahue-Wallace, “which promoted the church as an army and heavenly beings as its soldiers.” These "Harquebusier Angels" or "Arcabuceros" are full-length depictions of winged angels, elaborately dressed, and carrying matchlock guns (harquebuses).
The related term astrolatry usually implies polytheism. In anthropological literature these systems of practice may be referred to as astral cults.
A friar is a member of one of the mendicant orders in the Roman Catholic Church. There are also friars outside of the Roman Catholic Church, such as within the Anglican Communion. The term, first used in the 12th or 13th century, distinguishes the mendicants' itinerant apostolic character, exercised broadly under the jurisdiction of a superior general, from the older monastic orders' allegiance to a single monastery formalized by their vow of stability. A friar may be in holy orders or be a non-ordained brother. The most significant orders of friars are the Dominicans, Franciscans, Augustinians, and Carmelites.[1]
Romans 8:31; Exploring Biblical Imagery is one of the most important keys to interpreting and gaining a deeper understanding of the Bible. The Bible often communicates truth to us through images and patterns.
Throughout history, armed priests or soldier priests have been recorded. Distinguished from military chaplains, who are non-combatants that provided spiritual guidance to service personnel and associated civilians, these priests took up arms and fought in conflicts as combatants. The term warrior priests or war priests is usually used for armed priests in Antiquity and the Middle Ages, and of historical tribes.
Slang: In Romans 8:5-8, Paul presents a compelling contrast between living according to the flesh and living according to the Spirit. The flesh, with its disordered desires and rebellion against God, leads only to spiritual desolation. Martyr, one who voluntarily suffers death rather than deny their religion by words or deeds; such action is afforded special, institutionalized recognition in most major religions of the world. The term may also refer to anyone who sacrifices their life or something of great value for the sake of principle. A religious allusion is a brief reference to a person, event, place, or phrase from religious texts or traditions, without describing them in detail. 5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. Martyr/Romans 8 Allusion Slang.
The Roman Martyrology is an official liturgical book of the Catholic Church, with ancient origins, that lists the martyrs, confessors, virgins, and other saints, each on his or her dies natalis, or birthday into eternal life, as well as major feasts of Our Lord and Our Lady.
The Roman Martyrology is also central to the Divine Office or Liturgy of the Hours—a daily set of prayers marking the hours of each day and sanctifying it with worship. During the Office of Readings, specific entries from the martyrology are recited to inform and inspire those in prayer.
Romeu e Julieta (Casapianos Order 1996 Adaptation 18+ Romance Thriller)
While it retains the original Shakespearean dialogue, the film represents the Montagues and the Capulets as warring mafia empires (with legitimate business fronts) and the Capulets were "a Latin family, sort of,"[15] played by Latin-American and Italian actors.[16] It is set in contemporary United States, where swords are replaced by guns[17] (with model names such as "Dagger", "Sword", and "Rapier"), and with a FedEx-style overnight delivery service called "Post Haste".[18] Shakespeare and Impure Aesthetics explores ideas about art implicit in Shakespeare's plays and defines specific Shakespearean aesthetic practices in his use of desire, death and mourning as resources for art. In fiction, a subplot or side story is a secondary strand of the plot that is a supporting side story for any story or for the main plot. Subplots may connect to main plots, in either time and place or thematic significance. Subplots often involve supporting characters, those besides the protagonist or antagonist. Subplots may also intertwine with the main plot at some point in a story.[1]
THE ENCYCLICAL PASSIONARIES ABOUT YHVH CASAPIANOS (MARTYROLOGY BIBLE)
Specifically, the royal psalms deal with the spiritual role of kings in the worship of Yahweh. Aside from that single qualification, there is nothing else which specifically links the ten psalms. Each of the psalms make explicit references to their subject, the king. Royal (messianic) psalms deal with the king as God's anointed or chosen one. Many are prayers for the wisdom of the king, his long life or success in battle. Some are prophetic in nature in that they also point to the ideal future king, the Messiah or the King of kings. Simple martyrologies only enumerate names. Historical martyrologies, also sometimes called passionaries, also include stories or biographical details. The term "revolutionary martyr" usually relates to those dying in revolutionary struggle.[50][51] During the 20th century, the concept was developed in particular in the culture and propaganda of communist or socialist revolutions, although it was and is also used in relation to nationalist revolutions. In the martyrdom narrative of the remembering community, this refusal to comply with the presented demands results in the punishment or execution of an individual by an oppressor. Accordingly, the status of the 'martyr' can be considered a posthumous title as a reward for those who are considered worthy of the concept of martyrdom by the living, regardless of any attempts by the deceased to control how they will be remembered in advance.[1] Insofar, the martyr is a relational figure of a society's boundary work that is produced by collective memory.[2] Originally applied only to those who suffered for their religious beliefs, the term has come to be used in connection with people killed for a political cause. (Armed Friars and The War for Central Africa between Casapianos and The French; The Fall of Yoruba for Bembé; Arcubusier Angels in Africa)
The Metal Ages is a term for the period of human civilization beginning about 6,000 years ago during which metallurgy rapidly advanced, and human populations started using metals such as copper, tin, bronze and finally iron to make tools and weapons. By heating and shaping metals in hot furnaces, humanity also learned to use precious metals such as gold and silver to make intricate ornaments.[1][2] With these technological adaptions, human society became more productive and human settlements became larger and more prosperous, but also more violent.[3] The Metal Ages are divided into three stages: the Copper Age, the Bronze Age, and the Iron Age.[1][2] (Calcium Age of Mozambique)
Religious practices in ancient Greece encompassed a collection of beliefs, rituals, and mythology, in the form of both popular public religion and cult practices. The application of the modern concept of "religion" to ancient cultures has been questioned as anachronistic.[1] The ancient Greeks did not have a word for 'religion' in the modern sense. Likewise, no Greek writer known to us classifies either the gods or the cult practices into separate 'religions'.[2] Instead, for example, Herodotus speaks of the Hellenes as having "common shrines of the gods and sacrifices, and the same kinds of customs."[3] Various religious festivals were held in ancient Greece. Many were specific only to a particular deity or city-state. Altogether the year in Athens included some 140 days that were religious festivals of some sort, though they varied greatly in importance. (Festival Martyrology)
Gnostic cosmogony generally presents a distinction between a supreme, hidden God and a malevolent lesser divinity (sometimes associated with the biblical deity Yahweh)[1] who is responsible for creating the material universe. Consequently, Gnostics considered material existence flawed or evil, and held the principal element of salvation to be direct knowledge of the hidden divinity, attained via mystical or esoteric insight. Many Gnostic texts deal not in concepts of sin and repentance, but with illusion and enlightenment.[2] Gnostic writings flourished among certain Christian groups in the Mediterranean world around the second century, when the Fathers of the early Church denounced them as heresy.[3]
The original sense of apotheosis relates to religion and is the subject of many works of art. Figuratively "apotheosis" may be used in almost any context for "the deification, glorification, or exaltation of a principle, practice, etc.", so normally attached to an abstraction of some sort.[1] In religion, apotheosis was a feature of many religions in the ancient world, and some that are active today. It requires a belief that there is a possibility of newly-created gods, so a polytheistic belief system. The major modern religions of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism do not allow for this, though many recognise minor sacred categories such as saints (created by a process called canonization). A mural crown (Latin: corona muralis) is a crown or headpiece representing city walls, towers, or fortresses. In classical antiquity, it was an emblem of tutelary deities who watched over a city, and among the Romans a military decoration. Later the mural crown developed into a symbol of European heraldry, mostly for cities and towns, and in the 19th and 20th centuries was used in some republican heraldry. (Mural Crown Wing Transfer)
In religious studies, an ethnic religion is a religion or belief associated with notions of heredity and a particular ethnic group. (CHAMA ROXA)
An illusion is a distortion of the senses, which can reveal how the mind normally organizes and interprets sensory stimulation. Although illusions distort the human perception of reality, they are generally shared by most people.[1] (Sensory Process Sensitivity)
Capricornus is one of the 88 modern constellations, and was also one of the 48 constellations listed by the 2nd century astronomer Claudius Ptolemy. Its old astronomical symbol is (♑︎). Under its modern boundaries it is bordered by Aquila, Sagittarius, Microscopium, Piscis Austrinus, and Aquarius. The constellation is located in an area of sky called the Sea or the Water, consisting of many water-related constellations such as Aquarius, Pisces and Eridanus. It is the smallest constellation in the zodiac. (Men)
Leo Minor is a small and faint constellation in the northern celestial hemisphere. Its name is Latin for "the smaller lion", in contrast to Leo, the larger lion. It lies between the larger and more recognizable Ursa Major to the north and Leo to the south. Leo Minor was not regarded as a separate constellation by classical astronomers; it was designated by Johannes Hevelius in 1687.[2] (Women)
Dancehall is a genre of Jamaican popular music that originated in the late 1970s.[4][5] Initially, dancehall was a more sparse version of reggae than the roots style, which had dominated much of the 1970s.[6][7] In the mid-1980s, digital instrumentation became more prevalent, changing the sound considerably, with digital dancehall (or "ragga") becoming increasingly characterized by faster rhythms. Key elements of dancehall music include its extensive use of Jamaican Patois rather than Jamaican standard English and a focus on the track instrumentals (or "riddims"). Dancehall saw initial mainstream success in Jamaica in the 1980s, and by the 1990s, it became increasingly popular in Jamaican diaspora communities. In the 2000s, dancehall experienced worldwide mainstream success, and by the 2010s, it began to heavily influence the work of established Western artists and producers, which has helped to further bring the genre into the Western music mainstream.[8][9][10] (DOS SANTOS was this first generation of Dancehall Consumers)

A congress is a formal meeting of the representatives of different countries, constituent states, organizations, trade unions, political parties, or other groups.[1] The term originated in Late Middle English to denote an encounter (meeting of adversaries) during battle, from the Latin congressus.
A federation (also called a federal state) is an entity characterized by a union of partially self-governing provinces, states, or other regions under a federal government (federalism). In a federation, the self-governing status of the component states, as well as the division of power between them and the central government, is constitutionally entrenched and may not be altered by a unilateral decision, neither by the component states nor the federal political body without constitutional amendment.
The League of Corinth, also referred to as the Hellenic League (Greek: κοινὸν τῶν Ἑλλήνων, koinòn tõn Hellḗnōn;[a] or simply οἱ Ἕλληνες, the Héllēnes),[3] was a federation of Greek states created by Philip II[4] in 338–337 BC. The League was created in order to unify Greek military forces under Macedonian leadership (hegemony) in their combined conquest of the Persian Achaemenid Empire.[5][6][7]
The League was governed by the Hegemon (leader)[21][22][23] (strategos autokrator[24][25] in a military context),[26] the council (Synedrion),[27] and the judges (Dikastai). Delegates of the member-states (Synedroi) were responsible for administering the common affairs of the League. They were summoned and presided over by a committee of presiding officers (Proedroi), chosen by lot in time of peace, and by the Hegemon in time of war.[19] Decrees of the league were issued in Corinth, Athens, Delphi, Olympia and Pydna.[28] The League maintained an army levied from member states in approximate proportion to their size, while Philip established Hellenic garrisons (commanded by phrourarchs, or garrison commanders) in Corinth, Thebes, Pydna[29] and Ambracia.

LÉGENDES DU JAZZ
GIL EVANS, L’ARRANGEUR DE GÉNIE
"Gil was not a composer in the usual sense of the word. He was not a piano player in the usual sense, either. In fact, Gil was not your usual kind of man. He was a poet all the way from morning till night."
- Lee Konitz
Il expliquait: "I will never get over it! I wasn't even into music then. I was just buying records and going to high school."
Il précisait: "By about 1941 I began to realize that I wasn't really technically equipped to handle that kind of work. It took too much to do it. Besides the producer of the show was always calling me the poor man's Stravinksy... because he could never figure out what key we were playing in."
Décrivant sa collaboration avec Thornhill, Evans avait commenté: "It was a conservatory band in a way. The pitch was perfect, the blend was just built in. At the time I needed a workshop to hone my craft. I had never written for French horns, for example, Thornhill had two, and later three, flutes in addition to the saxophones we already had." Dans une autre entrevue, Evans avait ajouté:
"There was a French horn lead, one and sometimes two French horns playing in unison or a duet depending on the character of the melody. The clarinets doubled the melody, also playing lead. Below were two altos, a tenor, and a baritone, or two altos and two tenors. The bottom was normally a double on the melody by the baritone or tenor. The reed section sometimes went very low with the saxes being forced to play in subtone and very soft."
Evans expliquait: "He leaned on me, and he didn't want to. I let him because I wanted the experience. He liked modern jazz, but it wasn't what he wanted to play." Interrogé dans le cadre de l’ouvrage Jazz Masters of the Forties d’Ira Gitler, Konitz avait commenté: "It was a beautiful band. Gil Evans wrote the better arrangements in the book, and it was a good group of musicians. Gil tried to teach them ... how to play bebop. He was bringing in Bird's lines and teaching these cats--and a lot of them were older--how to inflect the lines."
Comme Davis l’avait déclaré dans son autobiographie publiée en 1989: "During this time I was going over to Gil Evans's a lot, listening to what he was saying about the music. Gil and I hit it off right away. I could relate to his musical ideas and he could relate to mine. With Gil, the question of race never entered; it was always about music."
Comme Pete Welding l’écrivait dans les notes de pochette de l’album: "Let's reaffirm something here: catchy as the album title notwithstanding, the music of the Miles Davis Nonet was, is anything but cool... Among these twelve performances is to be found some of the most arresting, resourceful, richly textured and abidingly creative small-ensemble writing in all of jazz history."
I, "The new project was far removed from the youthful experiments conceived in the grimy 55th Street basement. It involved a nineteen-piece orchestra, and it was backed by the corporate weight of Columbia Records."
Davis avait enregistré trois albums avec Evans: Miles Ahead (1957), Porgy and Bess (1958) et Sketches of Spain (1960). As usual, I loved working with Gil because he was so meticulous and creative, and I trusted his musical arrangements completely."
I had a great time with Gil Evans on Guitar Forms. I selected the tunes... the only input I had with the arrangements was our discussion of some of the harmonies--not necessarily how we would voice them but just what changes we would use at certain points. I made suggestions; he was always open to suggestions. He was incredible as an orchestrator and a harmonizer."
[and] a bright spirit."
La même année, Evans avait également rendu hommage à Hendrix dans le cadre de l’album There Comes a Time: The Music of Jimi Hendrix.
Commentant sa collaboration avec Evans, Konitz avait écrit dans les notes de pochette de l’album: "Gil was not a composer in the usual sense of the word. He was not a piano player in the usual sense, either. In fact, Gil was not your usual kind of man. He was a poet all the way from morning till night."
How About You" in Centennial - Newly Discovered Works of Gil Evans. Evans a également été mis en nomination pour plusieurs autres prix Grammy, y compris pour les albums Out of the Cool (1961), Miles Davis at Carnegie Hall (1962), The Individualism of Gil Evans (1964), Quiet Nights (avec Miles Davis en 1964), Guitar Forms (avec Kenny Burrell en 1965), Svengali (1973), Priestess (1983) et "Look to the Rainbow" in Centennial - Newly Discovered Works of Gil Evans (2012).

Who Gets the Rose Garden
Rhodolite, 2 hours after the previous king kicked the bucket
Clavis rises from his chair, preens his cravat, and with the panache of a peacock he takes his stand at the podium prepared for him at the mathematical center of the Round Table. The sleeves of his long-coat briefly drag along the table's edge as he climbs, but he moves too quickly for Sariel to land a grasp much less a tug.
Gazing solemnly into the eyes of every prince present, Clavis begins his speech. "As the third son to this eccentric dynasty, I've been both privy and party to a number of royal disputes. My position every time, of course, has been in the interest of maximizing pleasure for all involved, I am happy to report. And it is upon that basis which I present my case once again—that of who among us is to inherit the rose garden now that our dear daddy has departed for his new, warmer home.
"I have heard your counterarguments, gentlemen, brothers, reptilian fart, and I plan to address every single one in this speech. Should any of you harbor any further reservations by the end—and I am confident you won't—you may make an appointment with my precocious aide for a one-on-one meeting with me at your leisure. Mi casa es su casa."
Licht: "Yeah, we all live together."
"Rebuttal the first: regarding the traditional transfer of property when a monarch passes. When Belle chooses the successor, that individual shall immediately inherit the full estate and its investments both domestic and abroad. So sayeth this alarmingly thin stack of important papers here." He thumps his palm on the stack for effect. Licht gets up and leaves. "Hence, there is no question as to who the inheritor is. Or so we are led to believe. But consider this: if the surviving members of the royal family collectively share claim of the estate during the interim before a successor is chosen, in other words if we are the ones maintaining it, through our employed staff or otherwise, are we not entitled to—"
Sariel: "No."
"Haha, that was a rhetorical question directed at my brothers. No, no no, don't give me that 'I'm King Regent' look. That brings me to my next point, actually. Me. I've been the one maintaining the garden. Body cleanup? Me. Blood cleanup? Me. Pit fill-up? Me."
Cyran: "The last one—is definitely me. And I think Lord Sariel handles a fair share of the first two."
"Exactly! Cyran toils his little heart out filling in countless holes in the garden. Countless. Sometimes he even has to rescue our little Evie when he accidentally falls into them before they can be filled."
Yves: "Accidentally?!"
"He's taken so many falls he's even come to deceive himself into believing he falls into them on purpose. Gentlemen, brothers, bespectacled toilet plunger, surely you see the horror our shortest brother endures on a daily basis?"
Leon: "Your knight is only filling in the holes that you yourself dug. That's not maintenance."
"But isn't it? By regularly displacing soil, the garden is kept well-nutritioned. This is evidenced quite blatantly in the sheer beauty of our blooms, famous worldwide. My efforts have directly helped boost tourism to this kingdom."
Jin: "That's a huge stretch. And anyway, why not just do your best to become the next king?"
"Jin, you know better than anybody that I have no interest being king. In fact, I clearly have much more freedom to usher in a brand new era for the rose garden, especially in this critical interim period. That's why I'm merely asking for full ownership to be transferred over to me permanently."
Nokto: "Cool. Just tell me again at what point in your speech you made a coherent argument?"
"See? Even Nokto endorses my position."
Nokto: "Did you hear anything I said after 'cool'?"
"And I have no doubt that Licht's hasty exit was so he could provide a tangible, real-time exhibit of my services to the rose garden."
Licht, outside: "Aaaaaaaahhh-oof."
Yves and Leon sprint out of the room.
"Yes! The more witnesses the better! I have been nothing if not a benevolent force to this estate and to my dear kin. With the rose garden under my beautiful supervision, I can only imagine the pleasure and entertainment and boundless tourism that this kingdom will see. There's literally no downside."
Sariel: "Let me ask you one thing. Are you high?"
"High on my hopes and dreams, which are clearly infectious since you all took the time and care to hear me out."
Jin: "Well, you threatened to kidnap my date."
Nokto: "Mine too."
Chevalier: "...."
Sariel: "Come to think of it, why are you here, Prince Chevalier? This level of inanity is hardly worth your attention."
"Haha! Go on. Tell them, Chev."
Chevalier: "Sigh..."
Nokto: "There's probably some big-brain reason behind it."
Jin: "No... wait a second. Look closer at that podium."
Sariel: "My God..."
Chevalier: "Are you done with my desk."

Today's compilation:
The House Sound of Europe - Vol. V - 'Casa Latina' 1989 House / Italo-House / Italo-Disco / Deep House
God, this thing truly was a whole-ass vibe, folks 😎. Basically, if you want an album that can successfully transport you back to the 80s, this dance comp will more than do the trick—jaunty piano-riffed tunes galore, stuff that sounds fit for videogame soundtracks from the time period, and above all else, a constant throughline of uniquely lovable Italian goofiness. Forza!
So here we have a continuation of FFRR's The House Sound of… series, a collection of comps that started in the mid-80s on Chicago's D. J. International Records as a showcase of that city's own original house sound, and then was picked up and expanded upon in the UK by FFRR with the release of its third volume.
And this weirdly named fifth installment from the series, 'Casa Latina', does not have any Latin house music on it, but presents a near-full slate of 1980s Italian dance tunes instead. A more appropriate title for this would've been 'Casa Italiana', but even better would've been 'Danza Italiana', since a significant portion of these selections aren't even actually house tunes themselves—there's some Italo-disco that predates the advent of house music altogether, a touch of acid jazz, and a downtempo all-timer too.
And that downtempo all-timer, "Autumn Love (Future 3)" by Electra, probably doesn't even belong on this comp, because it's neither house nor Italian-made; but it's still hands-down the single-best song that this release has to offer. Electra was an electronic project that counted the legendary Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne among its ranks, and here the UK group goes full-on late 80s Ibiza silky-chill while implementing two very recognizable vocal samples: Donna Summer's "Love to Love You Baby" and Tears for Fears' "Shout."
(Truthfully, a song like this can still technically be considered house music, though, because the specific name of the genre it's in is called 'Balearic house'. But Balearic house is not always house music as we know it; its BPMs can get very low compared to typical house tunes, and it doesn't always employ a four-on-the-floor drumbeat, either. People in Ibiza still ecstatically danced to it, though—albeit very slowly.)
But anyway, outside of that lovely track, the brunt of this thing still appears to serve as a fun representation of Italy's own unique 1980s take on dance music writ large. Songs like Traks' pioneering 1982 Italo-disco cover of The Doobie Brothers' "Long Train Runnin" make for a prime example of the wacky style and spirit that imbues the vast majority of this release.
A whole bunch of these tunes seem to be drawn from one specific Italian label too: X-Energy Records, a powerhouse that's still going to this very day, and has released a lot of big dance records over the years, including stuff by Benny Benassi and Bob Sinclar.
And I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention the odd cover of 808 State's signature Ibiza anthem, "Pacific State," that's on here too. 808 State's version is the one that helped launch them into the stratosphere, enabling them to further enjoy a career that would see them collaborating with the likes of Björk, Bowie, and Bernard Sumner of New Order and Joy Division. But this silly and anonymous, keyboard-heavy cover of it by an act called Go-nogo is pretty great too, and 'Casa Latina' appears to have been the only compilation that's ever included it 👍.
And not everything on here slaps, either. Some of this stuff bit down way too hard on that Art of Noise-inspired idea of linearly stringing together a whole bunch of samples and sound effects, and then lamely laying those annoying concoctions over deep keyboard basslines. I'm never going to speak ill of the Art of Noise directly, whose own Trevor Horn is the guy that's credited with 'inventing the 80s,' but a whole lot of shitty copycats ended up manifesting in their wake, and there are certain points in which this release just can't help itself in choosing them 😒.
But still, this album is pretty quality for the most part. It may not be as consistently good as FFRR's Chicago-focused third volume that marked the label's own takeover of this series, but if you want a solid window into how another country took this house music and then managed to shape it in its very own uniquely fun and lighthearted image, this double-LP is fit to serve you well. Plus, there's some pre-house Italo-disco classics on it too 🕺.
Highlights:
Izit - "Stories (The Stories Mix)" Evo E - "Esta Amour" Electra - "Autumn Love (Future 3)" Albert One - "Vision" Blue Funk - "Blackwater Gold" Tracks - "Long Train Runnin" Blue Tattoo - "Love Can Do" All the Mix - "On the Mix" Sima - "You Got Me Running" In-side - "Shout in the Night" Go-nogo - "Pacific State" Jago - "I'm Going to Go" Paradise Orchestra - "Satisfy Your Dream"

Why Do People Fear "Socialism"?
Socialism, Communism, blah de blah; the definition that people fear is the one where "The government owns everything". Is that the *real* definition? No. But it's the one that people use when they talk about how one or the other "is bad, m'kay?"
The reason for this is because it creates a caste system with zero competition, where people do things more based on tradition, than based on good rational thought and cause and effect.
In the U.S., we're so anti-[this idea] that even our government competes against each other, and our military branches have their own chain of command and are often pitted against each other.
It is an entire undertaking when we want to try to get multiple branches to work together. And that's entirely the point.
Because then it's modular and It's abstracted. And there comes multiple solutions to any singular problem.
This is the same with our Government, our businesses, our families.
Objectivism comes to *us* naturally.
The reason people fear socialism is because then there's a possibility that all of an individuals wealth can be taken from them, because the government decides it necessary, and give no compensation.
That's how you destroy families and wealth. That is the essence of warfare. The use of power or force to take whatever it is you want, because you think you can utilize better than the creators or current landowners.
A tactic currently employed by capitalist corporations but that's neither here nor there.
America doesn't have a "Royal Family" like most of the world. It is a legislated anti-american concept. Yet, there's still people who want to create a Royal family for themselves where they retain all the power.
And those people should be kicked out of government.
Because of this concept; literally anyone can shine based on their own merits, instead of who their parents were. Yet; that doesn't seem to stop *some* people from being influenced by the bad apples outside the country.
Yea, you; U.K. coming to*our* universities and filling our citizens head with this *royal blood* and *you could be king, or at least a duke* poppy-cock--you know very well that's not how it works over there. You're literally socializing with our riff-raff.
You've already demonstrated that a genetic line means duck-all when it comes merit or intelligence.
And don't get me started on middle-eastern royalty, who really *do* think they're on a higher level than glorified Mayor or Governner.
This fear is the power that some people will take for themselves. That bully or "thug" mentality.
"What's mine is mine and what's your's is mine. Should I require it".
"Su casa, es mi casa."
It's in this article I'm not going to deal with land ownership, due to the finite nature of land, and the absolutely necessity it is for a functional community, there's reasons it should be regulated in a fair and equitable way.
But when that limited and fertile resource is used for warfare... Taking from other communities without sharing; their ability to provide for themselves...
That's an issue.
And that's why there's this ideological clash; the Republicans want to be America's royal family, and the Democrats want to usurp them.

Barbie (2023) and Nancy Drew (1959)
I have to put this under a read-more because it's gonna talk about the way Barbie (2023) ends.
I went to see the movie today, and I couldn't help thinking about Ned and Ken.
There are a lot of similarities between Nancy Drew and Barbie (in fact, if somehow that ever actually happened, a Barbie modeled on Nancy Drew instead of just general Detective Barbie or Spy Barbie, I would lose it. Lose. It. A friend made me some vintage-inspired-Nancy-Drew Barbie outfits and I LOVE THEM.) - Barbie is allowed agency and high-profile careers and all the importance, although, as the film points out, Stereotypical Barbie exists only to be pretty and blank.
(I also didn't realize until drafting this post that the Nancy Drew revisions, removing racial stereotypes and streamlining/shortening the plots from the 1932-1958 books, which began in 1959, started the same year Barbie was introduced.)
My Barbies were always involved in crime plots. Evil Barbie was blackmailing people and trying to steal their boyfriends. It was like a reality show in my Barbie townhouse. My Kens (who were outnumbered by a significant ratio) were pretty much always just accessories, either literal or figurative.
Nancy Drew is on the cusp of adulthood and has no stated money-earning career, much like Stereotypical Barbie. She loves mysteries and is an amateur detective, but it's very clear that she is not professional, is not paid for her work, and would be unable to operate as an amateur detective were her father unable to bankroll her activities.
Ned, like Ken, exists without Nancy—but also has no job. Ken does "beach," but performs no function there. (The film aside that Ken's domestic sphere, the Mojo Dojo Casa House, sells like hotcakes, is fascinating: masculine-coded toys seem to have castles or Batcaves for "homes," and are heroes or rescuers or doers in some sense; Ken is allowed to just be a horse enthusiast who also loves full-length fur coats. Ken doesn't sit in the Pink [White] House being absolute ruler all day.) Ned is a college student who plays sports but also isn't employed beyond temporary summer jobs. To the viewer/reader, Ned does functionally disappear without the context of Nancy. Nancy defines Ned's life.
a yellowed-paper heart imagines Ned without Nancy, much like Ken, but in the story Ned recognizes that Nancy has been made to never return his affections; he has agency, where she is bound by the decisions of her creator. Ned seeks meaning in reality but it's to escape the pain of knowing his love won't and can't be requited. He gets to be his own main character for a while, but recognizes that the lack remains.
Ned can't return. But Ken does. Ken comes off as kind of incel in the last part of the film, but he also freely admits early on that even if he did "stay over" at Barbie's house, he's not sure what that would actually mean. He's hurt that his feelings aren't returned, not that Barbie is denying him (functionally impossible) sex.
I think it's very easy to read Nancy Drew, especially original Mystery Stories, 1932-1979, Nancy Drew, as asexual. She can't return Ned's feelings because she hasn't been given the capacity. She does feel warmly toward him, he is her favorite escort, but her priority is always her mysteries, and for the most part Ned has no interest in interfering with that, because the excitement of her mysteries is part of what he loves about her.
I think it's really interesting to read Barbie as asexual too, although the film makes the point that Barbie lacks functional genitalia (until the end, anyway). Becoming a "real woman" doesn't make Barbie attracted to Ken. Stereotypical Barbie can't be married Barbie because that isn't a universal goal.
You can argue that Nancy Drew is niche; she's not stereotypical Barbie. But Nancy Drew also breaks gender norms in a few different ways while reinforcing others, and just like Stereotypical Barbie, Nancy calls the shots in her relationship.
Ned doesn't exist only for Nancy's gaze, even though he very obviously hints that he wants to marry her eventually. Ken wants to make a home with Barbie partially because Kens just don't have homes in Barbieland. Ned, were he to change his mind and seek another partner, is presented as a very attractive guy.
In the movie, the ways the Kens perform a lot for and with each other was fascinating. The Barbies interact with each other; Kens are temporary distractions from the work. Nancy and her friends interact with each other; Ned and his friends are around to serve as muscle in dangerous situations, crew sailboats, and call the cops before returning to their summer jobs. In that way, Ned does have a role, where Ken is shut out.
(This is also ignoring the Kens who clearly DID have careers, or at least the wardrobe to imply them. Those Kens always seemed niche, though. Doctor Ken was a thing. Otherwise, Ken comes dressed appropriately to accompany the corresponding Barbie on an adventure.)
Nancy Drew can't end. Barbie can't end. They were written to survive and be and read ourselves into. Marriage/relationships aren't the goal we all have - and even if they were, we aren't all straight - so the characters can't have that, but that doesn't mean that they, that Barbie, can't be people, adults, complete.
It's just interesting to think about.

Stop Gossiping Beef Tongue Spell
Some people just can't seem to shut up and mind their own business. That's where the good old beef tongue spell comes into play. In this case, a beef tongue is used to represent your enemy's wagging tongue.
Now beaf tongue is not traditional in Hoodoo our ansestors didn't use beef but they did use pork tongues, but beef will work as well.
Just to be clear - don't substitute anything, if you have any questions. Please message me m
For this spell you'll need:
A beef tongue
black string
a needle
a piece of brown paper
a pen
Gossip! Powder
Gossip! Oil
A black candle skull of any size (preferably a jumbo)
A knife
A plate
San Ramón Nonato picture
San Ramón Nonato red candle.
casa or chalk
Preparing the Items: Cut a slit lengthwise down the tongue - deep enough to shove stuff in it. Place the tongue on the plate and set it aside.
Take a brown piece of paper and cut a small piece for each target of your spell. (if you don't know a name leave it blank)
On the paper write the target's name 9 times, to repel. Then write "Shut your mouth!" Or "Stop speaking" etc in-between the targets written names. (See petition paper post) make 5 dots one on each corner of your paper and one in the middle.
Dress each paper (if more then one) by dabbing Gossip oil on the four corners and center. Then fold each paper by connecting the dots. (Make shure that the oil and or powder has alum, sulfur & slippery elm in it. It's traditional)
Take the skull candle and carve the targets' names on the candle along with "Shut your fucking mouth!" Then hollow out the mouth enough for the tongue to be placed. Dress the candle with Gossip Oil.
Assembling the Beef Tongue Shut Up Spell:
Take the folded name papers and insert the paper into the slit in the beef tongue. Now, sprinkle some Gossip Powder into the slit and all over the top of the tongue. Thread the needle with black thread and use it to sew up the edges of the tongue forcing it to fold in on itself capturing the items inside the slit. Tie up the tongue very thoroughly with the string.
Insert the tongue into the skull hollow out mouth. Sprinkle the rest of the STFU! Powder all over the tongue and covering the mouth of the candle to shut that person up.
'Then praying 'Proverbs Chapter 6 vs 16-19.'
Now use your casa or chalk and draw a crossroads like the photo below.
Put the black skull candle and place it in the center of the crossroads.
Now take your San Ramón Nonato picture and his candle, place his picture next to candle away from the skull candle out side of the crossroads.
Now light the skull candle and watch over it as the candle starts to melt the wax and take light.
Now light your Saint candle blow cigar smoke on the picture and candle use your, rattle or bell to bring fourth his spirit and energy. (Leave the lit cigar on a plate next to his photo)
Pray: pray to St. San Ramón Nonato.
Prayer: St. San Ramón Nonato. You who had the powder of being silent with a lock on your mouth for preaching the word of God, Hear my prayer and intervene before Our Lord God, to end the attempt of those who speak false things about me,protect me from all cruel words and intentions.
(Now leave him a offering and if you promise him anything for in exchange for his help make sure you give that to him.)
Let the candle burn all the way down. Once it is done, throw away the tongue, to throw away the Gossip. Another option is to take the beef tongue to the cemetery and dispose of it with the help from the spirit who you employed to help handle the situation. (if you you opt to employ a spirit to handle the situation, make sure you do a dividation and pay the spirit with some whiskey and a silver dime.) See my post on working with spirits and graveyards.
Easier Option:
Vinegar Jar: This option can take away the gossip or decrease it, either way it's tolerable. What you can do is, you can fill a large glass jar with vinegar and store the beef tongue in there uses with a black candle with the targets name carved on it with shut your mouth. To make your enemies' words turn against them and to make them suffer for what they have said.

Interior place Project final product
A love letter to environmental architecture
Materials: Clay, glass bowl/ vase, India ink, yarn, aluminum foil, wire
12 in x 11 in
In this project, I was deeply inspired by Mexican architect Javier Sinosain and his work and organic architecture, particularly his “Casa Orgánica.” this living space seamlessly bless the interior with the exterior, embodying the belief that humans should not be separated from nature. I appreciate the abstract shapes he employs and the idea of incorporating stained glass into my design.
To enhance the sensory experience, I included various color lights inside of a bowl, and lit Palo Santo, placing it inside the pink vase like object. This fragrant wood not only please is the senses, but also serves as my personal method of energetically cleansing my space. Although my experience in Clay is limited, I incorporated several clay elements reminiscent of the man made organic clay homes built by sinosain and his community.
Overall, my goal was to emulate the uniqueness of these one of a kind spaces that elevate the phrase “as within, so without.” in conclusion, I am pleased with my project.

Good afternoon TUMBLR - June 22nd - 2024
“Mr. Plant has owed me a shoe since July 5, 1971.”
Gazoducto Samalayuca - Sasabe. Mexico - Nuevos Casas Grandes - Chihuahua.
Part 4
Trips During my stay in Mexico, I had the opportunity to make several trips to the United States for work reasons. The aim was to investigate the possibility of entering the lucrative pipeline construction market in both the USA and Canada. Given that in Mexico our company worked for around $900 per linear/meter, in the USA the average price for installing a pipeline was around $2,000/linear meter in 2016/19. I always accompanied Mr. Davide Caracciolo who as Country Manager had the burden of finding new orders - the destinations of our trips were Houston, Dallas, Minneapolis and West Virginia from time to time.
HOUSTON Houston is a very pleasant and rich city. Capital of oil and the aerospace industry, it is a multi-ethnic place but at a very high level. Everything is ''very big'' like the life philosophy of Texas and Texans, starting from the enormous airport. The giants of the oil & gas industry have their headquarters in Houston. Hallyburton, EXXON, Standard Oil, Anadarko, FLUOR companies that employ thousands of people around the world are all here. We had just disembarked from the plane and I immediately understood that things were not going too go well. The person we were supposed to meet was not there to welcome us at the airport - Davide called him on his mobile phone, and was told that ''he was sorry but he would be arriving shortly''. ''The shortly'' turned out to be more than an hour, and when I saw the guy my doubts increased greatly. I later understood that the contact we had been provided with was none other than an ''adventurer'' (to use a euphemism) who was looking for foreign fools to scam. Once our equipment would have been imported (in his name, as per local law) he would certainly have managed to make them disappear, or to make them no longer exportable, so as to gain possession of them with a few dollars. In short, we were in an empty trip.
In Houston we would have had formidable support from that great character named Roy O'Donnel. We met him, and he assured us that in the years to come, given the large production of the Permian basin (the enormous Texan oil and gas field) and the continuing undercapacity of transporting oil and gas to the port of Galveston and Mexico , in Texas there would have been a need for a capable contractor like us. Apparently the local pipeline builders were all small companies, sometimes family-run, with just a few excavators, to which the large local companies contracted 7 – 8 km at a time. As Mr. O'Donnel well argued, if our Company had rented a plot of land, brought the equipment it had to Mexico once the Samalayuca-Sasabe project was finished, just by seeing them any Texan company would have contracted long stretches to ourself of the ongoing and planned pipelines. We reported all these considerations and impressions to the our top management but unfortunately nothing came out of it. Apparently the Financial Manager (who doesn't even speak English) was more in command within the Company than the owner himself or the General Manager.
Houston
DALLAS We flew to Dallas, Caracciolo and I, to meet the representative of a large contractor who had contacted us, asking for our availability to collaborate on a project in West Virginia. We arrived at Forth Worth airport and after immigration we immediately went out to look for a taxi because our contact was more than 70 km away. We ran into a taxi driver who I judged to be Ethiopian by his appearance and I was surprised: he spoke Italian!
Did you study with Italian missionaries perhaps? I asked him once we got on his bus. -Noo… he replied – I lived in Milan for many years.
Really?? I'm from Milan!
Yes? Well I got married in the church of Santa Francesca Romana, in Porta Venezia!!
That's really great.....……. In short, I mean someone from Mexico flies to Dallas, get out from the airport and the first - the VERY first available taxi of a line of 300 is driven by who? By someone who got married in Porta Venezia in 1987… if we had chosen another taxi, we would never have known of his existence, and I wouldn't be here writing about it in these notes. We met Jim Bradley in a very nice and beautifully furnished office villa. It felt like we were in an episode of DALLAS, I expected JR and Bobby Ewing to enter any monet the large living room with an adjoining monumental fireplace. Jim was very friendly and professional and we were very impressed with him and his job prospects. The project was located in West Virginia and required great mountain tract expertise, which our Company had repeatedly demonstrated that it possessed. We returned to Mexico enthusiastic about the possibilities that could open up. Our proposals to the Top Management - once again - fell on deaf ears.
MINNEAPOLIS It was late October and we went to Minneapolis. Between the skyscrapers in the city center there was a cold wind that we could be have been in Italian Alps on a bad weather day. We had dinner in a ''Brazilian'' restaurant that certainly couldn't be compared with the Chamas Churrascaria at the Intercontinental hotel in Abu Dhabi.
We stayed at the Hilton Inn & Suites, not bad I would say even if, as usual, very expensive. The next day, with a rental car, we went to Eau Claire, a remote place in Wisconsin. Along the monotonous highway, kilometers of fields without a living soul, cultivated with corn, soya, hay. And every now and then carcasses of moose and deer, killed by vehicles while trying to cross the unfenced highway.
In Eau Claire there was the headquarters of one of the most important pipeline companies in the USA, Precision Pipeline. In the middle of nowhere, a beautiful headquarters, modern offices, all female staff dressed and made up for the upcoming Halloween. The director of the pipeline sector was absent, having requested a week's leave to go deer and bear hunting. We were received by his deputy, a very nice guy, who quickly organized a meeting with about ten people. With the help of videos, their group's activities were presented to us, and the possible collaboration between Precision Pipeline and our Company was proposed. All in a super efficient manner, as per American procedure. We returned to Minneapolis certain that this ''was the right time'' - in the sense that faced with an offer of cooperation from a company like Precision Pipeline, our Big Boss would finally be convinced to undertake an American adventure. With a fly out from Saint Paul airport, we were happy to leave already cold Minnesota for warm Mexico City. A few days after our return, Caracciolo informed me that this time too we had been wrong. Our Headquater's response to the Americans' proposals was the usual generic ''we'll think about it''.
MEXICO CITY Otherwise called Ciudad de Mexico or CDMX or Distrito Federal or simply ''la Capital''. Its inhabitants – perhaps 20 million, or maybe 22 million – are called ''los Chilangos''. One of their most popular mottos says:
''I'm not perfect but I'm Chilango which is the same thing''.
Which says a lot about the character of the inhabitants of CDMX and Mexicans in general. Our Company had a representative office in CDMX located on the 7th floor of a building in one of the best neighborhoods: Colonia Polanco. For work reasons I have been to the Capital many times, unfortunately also during earthquakes (practically impossible to avoid them, they are so frequent). When I arrived there in December 2016, I asked branch driver Edgar Ponche about the Casablanca hotel, the hotel where we had slept in 1984.
It no longer exists – Edgar told me – it collapsed due to the strong earthquake of 1985, when there were more than 10,000 victims and damage amounting to billions. Ciudad de Mexico is a fascinating city: located at 2,400 meters above sea level, which combined with the geographical position, means that the climate is warm/temperate all year round. In winter the temperature rarely drops below 17-18 °C degrees, but Mexican girls dress like their Finnish peers, with great use of jackets and fake UGGs because ''hace un frio que no puede eser'' (it's so cold that nobody can't resist). The traffic is simply infernal, and thank goodness there is a dense metro network that takes millions of people off the streets. There is an almost total lack of surface transport, no trams, and only one electric bus line, despite the surface area of the city being immense. For the rest, Mexicans are tireless walkers: the streets are always full of people walking, unlike for example El Paso, where a pedestrian is always almost certainly a homeless person or a hitchhiker.
Plaza Zocalo
Museo Soumaya.
Chapultepec Castle
Palace of Fine Arts.
Paseo de la Reforma
Theotihuacan
The city has many attractions, the most popular are the Zocalo, the square where the Parliament, the official residence of the President, and the Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady of the Virgin Mary are located. Then the famous gardens of Chapultepec, with the castle that belonged to Maximilian of Austria, briefly Emperor of Mexico. The ''Zona Rosa'', the Palace of Fine Arts, Paseo de la Reforma the large artery where the best hotels and skyscrapers are concentrated, with the famous Angel de la Indipendecia. The Casa Azul now transformed into a Frida Kahlo museum, and more recently the Soumaya museum. Avenida Presidente Mazaryk is very beautiful, with luxurious restaurants and show rooms including famous Italian brands. Not far from the city are the floating gardens of Xochimilco, and the archaeological area of Theotihuacan. But above all, Mexico City is a vibrant city of life that never sleeps. One of its great contradictions is being a ''mountain city'' but with air that is unbreathable on some days. Dia de los Muertos The Mexican festival of the dead has Aztec origins and was proclaimed an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2003: the anniversary represents a commemoration for the return of the deceased to earth and is deeply felt and rooted in tradition. The typical depiction of death is La Catrina, represented in the form of a skeleton with a sombrero. This figure was created at the end of the 19th century as a criticism of melancholy, or the attitude of people to deny their origins, the desire to feel foreign before being Mexican. The name La Catrina is due to Diego Rivera, the great Mexican muralist, husband of Frida Kahlo. This representation then took on the meaning of a joke towards death for the feast of the dead. Mexico city offices Our offices in Mexico City were located in one of the best neighborhoods of the city, Colonia Polanco. The choice was made taking two factors into consideration:
A location not too far from the Client's offices, given that in Mexico City crossing the city on a ''normal'' day means losing 2 to 3 hours due to infernal traffic.
Give a ''respectable'' image of the Company and at the same time ensure that the offices are located in a ''safe'' area of the city. The offices were located on the 7th floor of a modern building, which in any case was declared unusable for a short period, following the earthquake of September 2017. The earthquake struck at 1.15pm local time, and all our 12 employees rushed down the stairs in terror, especially the female staff. One of them resigned from the company in the following days, saying that from now on she would only accept jobs on the ground floor. From that day the girls stopped coming to the office in high-heeled shoes: they always wore jogging shoes, to be ready in case of emergency leave from the building.
GRUPO CARSO Our client – Grupo Carso – is one of the largest industrial companies in Mexico. Active in various fields, they possess the largest mobile network, to transport and infrastructure. The owner is Carlos Slim, the richest man in Mexico, as well as among the top ten richest men in the world. The group's headquarters occupies an entire central neighborhood of Mexico City. The complex includes a luxury shopping center (Plaza Carso) and the Soumaya Museum, a futuristic building that Carlos Slim dedicated to his wife who died prematurely. You can admire - for free - famous paintings, murals by Diego Rivera, precious art collections.
Christmas 2017 – 35 km in 35 days. It was an early afternoon of December, and I was reached by a call from Injenero Munoz, Project Director. By now I had known Munoz for a year, and when he tried to ''act nice'' it meant that ''the scam was just around the corner''. Munoz informed me that the Ciudad Juarez Court had ruled that a 35 km section of the gas pipeline (among other things adjacent to our logistics base) had been declared ''on decision-waiting ''. In other words, the Judge self reserved 35 days to decide on the request to block the works by the owners of the areas where the gas pipeline was supposed to pass. An opportunity not to be missed, Munoz reiterate. ''In this period of time you must ensure that this section of the project is completed, so as to present Mexican Justice with a fait accompli'' ''Good - I replied after taking a long breath and counting to 10 - but do you, Injenero, realize that you are asking us to complete 1 kilometer of pipeline per day''? Of course – Munoz promptly replied – but I know you can do it!! Ah…well…yes…I said…everything is possible…but I want you to know right now that it will cost you a lot of money: we are talking about an incredible acceleration, compared to our normal work program!!''. We'll talk about money later, when you've finished – replied the old and foxy Munoz. Once the conversation with Munoz was over, I called Company Top Management, informing them of the request from the Client, meantime expressing all my doubts that the goal can be achieve. In a video conference with Headquarter, the Owners and the Management expressed their belief that the challenge could be won, and that the opportunity to earn credit and money - a lot of money - with CARSO should absolutely not be missed.
The challenge had been taken, within three days, with an unprecedented logistical effort, heavy equipment, automatic welders and all the necessary equipment had been transported from considerable distances in which they were operating to the theatre of operation: 140 km of dirt roads on which they had been trailers and heavy duty transport trolleys passed through (the trencher alone weighed more than 23 tons). Having gathered men and equipment, we began the stretch of gas pipeline that we would later call: ''35 km in 35 days''. On 5 January 2018, after 35 days of ''epic'' work (1,200 linear meters of rock were also excavated), the section was delivered to the Client, complete with quality documentation. We had won the challenge, now the much harder challenge of getting the right reward from CARSO began.

NDIS Services Providers in Ballina
Getting rid of dodgy providers and harsher penalties for rorters is at the heart of a new package of NDIS reforms. The NDIA also wants to gather better data on the market and its reliance on unregistered providers.
The NDIS has updated the High Intensity Daily Personal Activity (HIDPA) Skills Descriptors to include a new section for enteral feeding support. This will help participants access quality and affordable services. To know more about NDIS Services Providers, visit the Dabba Mallangyirren website or call 0403856995.
A new state-of-the-art independent living home opened in Ballina this month. The home was commissioned by DPN Casa Capace and built to the NDIS ‘Robust’ and ‘High Physical Support’ requirements. It is also designed to support a range of assistive technologies such as automated blinds and doors, ceiling hoists and height adjustable benchtops.
The smart home features appliances from leading brands supporting accessible functionalities that work with Apple HomeKit. This allows occupants to control lights, blinds, doors, entertainment and air conditioning using the Siri personal digital assistant on their iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Mac.
DPN Casa Capace is a registered NDIS provider incubated by property investor DPN Group. It secured a cornerstone investment last year and recently completed its first smart multi-dwelling homes for people with disabilities. These homes are located in south-western Sydney and feature six bedrooms across two dwellings for NDIS participants to live together at fully-accessible and high physical support levels in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). These SDAs are a mix of one, two and three bedroom homes accommodating 28 NDIS participants.
Dabba Mallangyirren is a trusted provider of a wide range of NDIS disability support services. These include High Intensity Personal Assistance (HIDPA) and a range of social and recreational supports. The organisation also offers respite and day programs for people with disability.
Located in Ballina, this organisation specialises in offering a range of disability support services in Ballina and surrounding areas. These include in-home and out of home support. They offer a person-centred approach to assist participants with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming. They can also assist with shopping and attending medical appointments.
The organisation also offers a variety of out of home programs such as Music and dancing, Strikers Bowling League, North Coast Fun Club, BBQ’s and picnics and respite. They can also provide positive behaviour support, which is a person-centred approach to supporting individuals to address their behavioural needs. This approach is designed to avoid the use of restrictive practices, such as seclusion, chemical restraint or physical restraint.
In Ballina, a popular tourist destination in Northern Rivers of NSW, there are many options for NDIS participants to receive disability support. These include Byron Care Stay, a retreat that offers a range of services from respite to home care. This option provides a range of benefits for those living with disabilities, including social engagement and community participation.
The service offers preplanning support, as well as NDIS Support Coordination for participants to activate their plans. It also has a team of trained and experienced staff who can provide assistance to people with disabilities in the local community. The company has offices in Ballina and the Northern Rivers region.
The NDIS needs to make sure all providers are held accountable for their behaviour. That means publishing codes of conduct and service garantees. It also needs to employ advocates for every participant. That way, they can double check and put predatory providers on notice. They can also keep an eye on all invoices and services. They can also help the participant get the best value out of their supports.
Dabba Mallangyirren offers disability support services that put participants first. They offer social and recreational activities to help people connect with others and explore the community, as well as specialised accommodation options. Their Summerland Farm in Alstonville is a popular tourism attraction and provides opportunities for people with disabilities to work on the macadamia and avocado farm.
The organisation also offers 'Preplanning Support' to provide general NDIS information and assist people to connect with formal and natural supports. Allied health and community access are also important areas of their work. To know more about NDIS Services Providers, visit the Dabba Mallangyirren website or call 0403856995.
