no but imagine percy who inherited his mom's beachwave brown, shoulder length hair as a kid. and all of his classmates and teachers thinking he's a girl and referring to him as such. and he doesn't correct them because he thinks it means they find him pretty. and he likes feeling pretty like his mom. then gabe makes him cut his hair in the second grade. and finds he likes the short hair and feeling handsome too. but he also really misses feeling pretty sometimes. and it isn't until after gabe mysteriously dissapears that he grows it out again and reconciles switching between both.

cue depression that some other satyr is joining them on this quest instead of Grover, who obviously decided not to come get Percy himself because he hates him

Very interested in the way they choose to adapt Percy and Grover's empathy link and the way they can speak into each other's minds to the screen? I imagine it'll be like a voice-over situation probably? Anyway I need them to include it even if it could be a little tricky to establish at first since it's like a weird thing.

!!SPOILERS FOR PERCY JACKSON WRATH OF THE TRIPLE GODDESS!! (I know it's been a while but just in case)

"Percy wanted to drown himself" this "Apollo didn't want to live that badly" that, which, yeah, but also Grover Underwood essentially tried to disolve himself in Wrath of the Triple Goddess and no one talks about it.

Grounding himself was an incredibly dangerous thing to do, even if it was the only way for them to find Gale. Plus, Grover also expressed that he did it because he felt very guilty over what had happened at Hecate's. Grover was very sad in this book over all but most people have been too focussed on Percy to notice (which, fair, even Percy was too focussed on Percy to notice, but still).

Worse, instead of people freaking out or at least recognising that Grover is clearly not doing very well, I've seen people be angry with him?? Over behaviour that Grover himself expressed so much regret for that he was willing to, once again, DISSOLVE HIMSELF INTO NOTHING just to make up for it?? Behaviour that he spends pretty much the whole book feeling immense guilt over?? Behaviour that the actual characters you're pissed for already forgave him for because he's their friend and they love him??? I love the Percy Jackson fandom, you guys are absolute sweethearts, but the second a character isn't a fan favourite it's like they don't even exist in your eyes anymore.

Anyway, moral of the story, Grover has so much potential as a character because he is very complex and awesome and I love him dearly, and he absolutely needs more attention in this fandom

Based on Bridon Ep 4, I’m starting to wonder more about how Lu Guang’s powers work

He took a photo of CXS and was apparently able to keep an eye on him through that

But doesn’t that raise some questions about the “12 hours into the future” that LG can see? He took the photo so wouldn’t it make more sense that he could see 12 hours into the photographer’s future? It would explain why he followed CXS to the pub rather than watch from the hotel room, but somehow it also looked like he was able to know exactly what CXS was doing in the pub so he knew the exact moment to call and summon him back

Is he just able to zoom in on the particulars as long as he’s physically present in/within some short radius of the location?

What if Percy's fatal flaw does eventually kill him, but not because he was protecting someone to the point of not caring for himself, but because he refused to give up the empathy link with Grover when he was thirteen to know if Grover ever needs him again and then Grover dies and Percy dies with him.

A dam Percy Jackson thought

Everybody thought Grover's stress and anxiety was because of the Romans threatening to attack Camp Half-Blood.

No one thought it was because of the emotions Percy was feeling when he was in Tartarus, and that it was painful for Grover that he couldn't do anything about it.

Everybody forgot about Grover's empathy link with Percy.
