It is heaven. There is no place like it on earth. I have owned this villa on and off for thousands of years, in different shapes and under different names, but I have always called it home. It sits just far enough from the walls of Rome to avoid the crowds, but close enough that I can oversee my city. Near to the ocean, and surrounded by the richest soil. And in the rainy season, when the mists come down the hills and wash the fig trees with cool water, there is nothing like it.

I think it is the most magnificent place. The Gods themselves crafted it by hand.

But then, I may be biased.

Questions for LGBTQ+ Muses

🛑 - What your muse ever scared when realized their sexual orientation and/or gender identity I guess not, since it hasn't happened, but boy is he terrified to find out! No relief in sight, and little desire to actually find a label: it would only be useful for dating. Maybe. 🍭 - How long did it take for your muse to come out of the closet? Did they come to only friends? Family too?

He didn't come out to Ludwig so much in the 1920's as he shared that he was exploring. For most people, they just figure Ivan's MLM/bispec (ex. @bates--boy), and he never truly "outs" himself. He doesn't (get to) explain to people exactly how he identifies or even who he's attracted to, so he doesn't get a lot of chances to reveal. The one exception is a thread with @czesarevich where Ivan doesn't so much have a conversation than an interrogation and then a tearful dumping onto Alexei. Alexei is the only "family"-type person Ivan has spoken to about queer stuff to-date.

☀️ : Who is your character’s partner Pokémon? Do they prefer to stay outside of their Pokéball? What’s their dynamic with their trainer?

{For his general Pokemon team, it's for sure his Mimikyu, despite it being one of his later-caught Pokemon. It was very shy when Gil first caught it in Alola, causing him to earn its trust with berries and patiently waiting for it to be comfortable enough around him until he could ask it to join his team. But after a while in his team, it grew more confident & very protective over Gil, staying out of its Pokeball to better watch over him.

His full team is Mimikyu, Alolan Ninetales, Corviknight, Cofagrigus, Empoleon, & Aegislash. As well as a Midday Lycanroc as a support Pokemon.

For his Ghost Type expert team, it's his Gengar. His first ever Ghost Type & first Pokemon in general. Even though Gengar is still its typical trickster self & likes pranking Gil, their bond is still strong and it knows when to not scare him or when it's gone too far. It's fine with being in its Pokeball, but if it senses Gil's stressed or in danger, it'll find ways to break out to help.

His full team is Gengar. Chandelure, Mismagius, Mimikyu, Cursola, & Bannette.}
