jjk - a rating
idk abt yall but jjk is overrated, the story line and plot was really slow n stuff. making this post for a friend though. that ghetto guy was pretty lame so was that gojo guy. honestly ill rate the anime 5/10, ive watched worst. every character you see on screen seems like theyre gonna die. once that emo kid died in the first season it felt like i had the eye to see the future, i could easily and confidentially say that a character was gonna die, it was really boring, it kept repeating too, just straight up the edits were more entertaining then the actual show.

Always fun knowing there’s all kinds of traumatizing stuff hidden just out of view in kid’s games.

I'm a sentimental fucker, for better or worse. I wear my heart on my sleeve, note the years passing on the anniversaries of life events, and journal religiously. And for every year I've been on tumblr, I've shared a year-in-review post on December 31. Here we go again.
At the end of 2022 I came across a twitter post that said something along these lines (I can't find the original and it's killing me):
You deserve the special stuff. Stop waiting for the right occasion to pop open the special wine, don't wait for the right person to see the world with. Why are you coming up with excuses to justify why you don't deserve it? You are reason enough for the special stuff.
It struck a chord with me. I've always been a hoarder of things and daydreams of the future - always hoping that if I wait just a little longer, things will fall into place. And then it will be time. Time for me to finally live, to thrive, to shine.
And this year, I said fuck it.
I saw the world (more countries than I've ever seen in a year!), grilled the expensive cuts of meat when I was home alone, and got comfortable spoiling myself with sugary treats/new jewelry/and so many tiny luxuries that made me smile when I walked through my home.
I remembered that I fucking AM the special stuff.
And my wish for 2023 is that you all realize that you're the special stuff, as well.
Life is worth celebrating simply because we are here.
Also in 2023: I hope you fuck lots of people, scream through endless orgasms, and become intimately familiar with the high that can only be found through an intoxicating power exchange.
Happy New Year. 🎆

“But I wasn’t crying because I was sad. I guess I was crying because we had nowhere else to go, no choice but to go on living in this world. Crying because we had no other world to choose, and crying at everything before us, everything around us.”

nothing,nowhere. Hell or Highwater
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
FFO: COUNTRY, EMO, ALEX G, DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL / LISTEN
Country is back in. It has been for a while. Everyone wants to be a cowboy these days. The undercurrents of americana that pervade popular music have never gone away, but many artists over the past few years have been pushing their over the top characterizations of cowboys and countryscapes back into the mainstream by fusing the genre with electronic based pop and rap. Lil Nas X, Oliver Tree, hell, even Beyoncé has seen the potential in this fusion. In a way, it almost feels a little bit late for singer-songwriter and emo-rap-metalcore extraordinaire Joe Mulherin to be hopping on the trend, but I'm not sure if anyone has so unabashedly mixed alt-country and emo pop like this before.
Hell or Highwater is the newest entry in the series of Joe Mulherin doing whatever the fuck he wants since leaving Fueled by Ramen and regaining ownership of his career. He already dropped a full length record of emo rap bangers earlier this year, and now, almost as if to flex his new found creative freedom, he's switching things up with nine sad, manure scented acoustic tracks. "John Wayne (I Wanna Be A Cowboy)" kicks things off with a reminder that Mulherin is, in fact, a millennial, and his perspective as a 30 something year old struggling with motivation and trapped in cycles of late night doom-scrolling definitely shines through in the lyrics. Somber strums of the guitar accompany him as he sings "I wanna be a cowboy, but I sleep too late. I stayed up all night watching Walmart fights on my phone". At face value, it's a bit cheesy, but the message of desperately wanting more for yourself yet having too much executive dysfunction to take those steps is honest and easily relatable for the modern age. Don't worry though, not every song is so on the nose with it's tiktok generation pandering. Fourth track and one of the biggest album highlights, "In The Country", hits us with the beautiful cry of the harmonica and a much less obvious approach to discussing depression and the yearning to escape to a quieter, simpler life.
I'd be remiss not to mention that there is still a small hip hop influence on this album. "Hydrangeas", "Cliché Lovers", and "Honey" all feature some 808s and trap hi hats, but Mulherin's sad cowboy persona still remains at the core of these songs, and these elements blend so seamlessly into the rest of the album that they hardly feel out of place, especially if you are already familiar with the previous work of nothing, nowhere. These songs bring a sort of mixtape feel to the album, and while they aren't the star of the show for me, they act as nice segues between the more countryfied moments. Things really get kicked up a notch near the end of the record with bombastic choruses in a slacker visage like early Dashboard Confessional meets Rocket-era Alex G. Closing track "New England" ends things off on a particularly high note, starting with the lone riffing of an electric banjo before drums, acoustic guitars and blues slides all drop into place. Mulherin throws a slight twang on his voice as he recites some of his most muddy truck lovin' lyrics to date, "Well, I know that backroads and dirty clothes just ain't for everyone. So, you take the city lights and skyline, give me a setting sun". It's probably the most cowboy cosplay moment on the whole album, but in the midst of the trees and cornfields still lies an explosive, tearjerking chorus of lost love that could make me weep. Mulherin has always had a knack for hooks and catchy choruses, and this song further exemplifies the fact that he could easily make a career in writing chart topping hits if he wanted to.
I'll admit, I wasn't expecting to fall in love with this album. My personal relationship with country music has gone from ironically blasting "Fix A Drink" by Chris Jansen for shits and giggles, to eagerly watching Lucinda Williams live with clasped hands and open ears, but when the emo kid next door suddenly shows up on your front lawn with a cowboy hat, acoustic guitar in hand, and face painted like a clown, I think anyone would be a little skeptical. But whether it's rap, metalcore, or alt country, Mulherin never fails to write a memorable, heart clutching song. Hell or Highwater is just further proof that his song writing talent transcends borders, and—outside of the constraints of major labels—he truly can do whatever the fuck he wants.

DID YALL SEE THE NEW FNAF THEORY? the Cassidy = C.C.?!
I’m running wild like a headless chicken. As much as this theory genuinely has good stuff to support it. I HATE IT… Idk… Like at this point Cassidy ≠ C.C. in my brain I cannot believe this theory, even if given proof to back it up. Call it a head cannon or something. I cannot with it… C.C. is my Evan Afton, not my Cassidy…

I finished "Lies of P" and got 2 endings, not sure if I wanna suffer all over again in NG+ for the 3rd ending but we shall see. I need to rest my hands for an entire week to recover because they got overworked in this game lmao
But tbh I did NOT expect to love this game so much considering it's soulslike, and those are pretty hard. In fact, Lies of P is even one the harder entries in the genre (if not the hardest) and I'm not gonna lie, Pinocchio's beautiful face really made me pull through playing the entire game HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA But tbh the gameplay is SUPER FUN!! I ended up enjoying it so much that I was just playing every day nonstop and the story was just so /clutches chest/
I felt so proud of myself that I saw how much I have improved compared to how I started. I felt like I have transcended into another dimension when I've beaten the final boss on my first try XD IDK WHO I WAS IDK HOW I PULLED IT OFF BUT I DID???
Anyhoo, the art style, music and story really shines in this game aside from the gameplay. The mere fact I got so attached to the NPC's at the hotel was surprising. Made me cry in some of their stories. :'(
I recommend this game to anyone who is willing to die a lot of times to learn. 10000/10 for me, I don't care what anyone else says. It's my personal rating HAHAHA Lies of P has become one of my favourite games and it deserves all the praise it is getting. Here's to hoping it will win some awards because it's truly deserving. The game is made with lots of love and it shows.
Plus, how can you not love that Pinocchio is such a beautiful sweet boy? :'D Do it for him and make him a real boy!!

review of songs from bands/people i like that have come out in the last few months approximately
1. ecstasy (jake webber + johnnie guilbert)
-very good but i like the melody a little bit less than other songs they've made
-"your touch is ecstasy to a heart that barely beats" is my fav part in the whole song (also the guitar)
- very emo i think
2. bfm (britney manson + kets4eki + asteria)
-literally so good
-the collaboration between these specific artists is the best
-the lyrics 💖💖
3. rock your body (kets4eki + ayesha erotica)
-only listened to it a few times since it just came out a couple days ago but it's super good
-love kets4eki's part
4. vampire (johnnie guilbert)
-eargasm
-the part at the beginning (might be a synth but i'm not sure) i could listen to just that part for hours on repeat
-the singing + lyrics are also sick i love them both
5. faster n harder (6arelyhuman)
-so i party like a rockstar ‼️‼️‼️
-someone on youtube music commented "WE GETTIN OUT OF THE BED WITH THIS ONE🔥‼️‼️🗣️🗣️" and that's so real

Okay so I’ve been listening to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge on repeat the past few days and omfg I can’t believe I used to not like this album. I listened to it once a while back and for some reason I didn’t like it I just thought it was boring and at the time I wouldn’t given it like a 3/10 but now. Holy shit this album is fucking awesome. The pacing is great as soon as it feels like it’s slowing down it picks up again some of these songs are absolutely incredible my favorite section of the album is “You Know What They do to Guys Like Us in Prison” “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” and “Ghost of You” this section is just three incredible songs back to back and it kicks so much ass. I never really liked I’m Not Okay but now listening to it in the context of the album I got literal chills when he said “trust me” holy shit MCR is awesome I fucking love them. This is honestly a contender for my top 5 albums now. 9/10 love this album, love MCR, and I fucking love emo. I’m gonna be listening to “I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love” later today I hope I love it as much as I loved this.
