I’m beginning to feel the weight of despair. Most days I’m able to get by with a confidence in my hopes and dreams, but in the moment I allow them to fall behind, in crushed by the weight of my pain. Today is a good day. But a hard day. I’m doing my best to remember that I create my own happiness and my own future. But that at times feels like a crushing expectation. At times I feel as though my only skill is disappointing myself and everyone around me. At times the weight of my own pride, and my inability to open up to others quite literally pushes me right to the edge. But I’ll keep on. Because I know if I’m experiencing these thoughts and emotions, then someone else out there is too. And as much darkness as there is in this world, and within my self; there’s a whole lot of light to shine it out
