every time someone goes into heaven, they're given the gift of flow (and a styrofoam cup whose contents are not of this earth) and asked to contribute a verse to this freestyle. they've got a room up there with screw in it, and he's at a mixing console keeping the beat going forever, his facial expression a wreath of hazy purple serenity. a dear friend of mine has started his verse recently, and it's gonna take him seven years to get through the whole thing- he's too sweet a guy and too good a poet, you see, not to give a shoutout to each and every person who misses him down here. the staff don't mind him taking his time, though, because the beauty of that e.e. cummings via kanye west verse style isn't the sort of thing that one tires of easily.
