I got two new furbs for xmas thx to my sister!! They were listing's I was looking at and that she had apparently sniped from me when I was gonna buy em myself- I gave her a ton of vintage pillsbury doughboy things for xmas and she gave me two furbys- I now have a 'Sunny' baby furby in my collection (non working) and a 'Snowball' furby (that works and came with the box and papers!!) In my collection! The 'Snowball' furby has been named Francis and the new baby has yet to be decided and idk what to name it- (Pic of my furbys under cut!!) Also my sister is freaking awesome- love her sm-

blue Furby siblings

I haven't turned my Furbies on in a long time, so I tried these two! Sadly, Norge the Furby Boom (right) doesn't work properly :•( She doesn't respond to stimuli, & I think she's stuck in the sleeping pose (she moved once to yawn but didn't move again). She can make sounds & emote with her eye screens, though. I think she's trying to move but there's only a whining sound. I'm not terribly pressed to get her working, but I'd hear out any quick fix?

Mx. Blue Sky (left) is still working & it was really fun to hang out with them! 💖 :•) They seemed to get dizzy really easily from their own rocking. Norge doesn't have this problem because her rocking mechanisms all fell out from corrosion >_<

also I tried Brian Emo the Birdy Bird (in the background); IDK if his tummy & back sensors have ever done anything, but he does still make noises. Maybe let me know if u have experience with Baby Birdy Birds what they should do?

previously they were hair extension clips, but i cut off the wefts and sewed them on today and i think he looks great! i had to come up with something more permanent because his bangs notoriously drove me crazy with how messed up they would get

You guys should go listen to The Funeral Portrait if you enjoy FOB, older P!ATD, and MCR they fit right into the genre with a modern vibe and they absolutely kill at live shows

Flashback to when I decided to make a furby carry bag out of pony beads with no idea wtf I was doing like two days before my local retro toy and collectors con because I was determined to bring my scene kid furby with me so with no clue what I was doing made a whole ass beaded bag for my furby in like one day with no reference pics cause what I'd assumed existed and had been done before in fact hadn't been done as far as I could tell aside from crochet but I'm no good at crochet so I purposely suffered making that damn bag and getting my furby all ready for the con last minute and still had my cosplay to do but focused so much on my furby I didn't realize I'd already outgrown the cosplay I'd worn a year before so I went to that con looking like I belonged in a 2000s scene concert or smt and with my freaking furby that confused so many ppl

Then I continued go find a furby at one if the vendors but was being cheap with my 40 bucks and decided to wait a day and go bk n get the working dragon furby on the second day if the con just to be told they sold it right b4 I got there- almost six months later i went to the spr nice vendors shop a few hrs away and adopted by furby beep who was honestly one I wanted more then the dragon since I'd been looking for the racer one online for awhile- also highly recommend wasting time making a furby bag, while I couldn't have my usual stuff I over pack in my cross body I had a coin wallet clip onto it and stuff. Might make my furbys backpacks next as an add on to it idk. I need two more furby carriers now cuz I make em specific for each my furbys themes. Might post a pattern for it on kandi patterns eventually. Also highly suggest investing in mini pony beads to make goggles for furbys if ya are good at kandi lol.

Idk what this is I'm so hyperfixated on furbys atm it's painful and annoying my whole family but I love these funky creatures sm- plz ignore any typos I'm just adhd ranting n am dyslexic asf lolz. Plz remember to stay hydrated n to take care of urselves btw!!:]]
