Haha I thought of actually making a secondary blog for more Emo!Ashley in the future! I'll give some headcanons down below...

Emo!Ashley listened to MCR and it inspired her greatly, so she took on this new bold style. (Totally not after only listening to 3 songs)

Emo!Ashley makes music and dark poetry her passion. She gets forces her friends listen to her read her poetry each time she writes something new. (Only Sam, Chris, Josh, Matt, and Hannah pay attention)

Emo!Ashley dreams of Chris taking her to concerts and when he finally asks her to go to one, she plays it off as "Yeah cool whatever" but then goes home to squeal like a schoolgirl into her pillow for an hour.

Emo!Ashley thinks that Josh is 80% hotter when she sees him in his psycho attire... Yes, girly now has issues like the rest of us Josh simps lol

Emo!Ashley bought a snake to look cool but she is high-key terrified of him. Little does she know her snake is just as scared of Ashley as she is of him. She named him Gerard, after the MCR lead singer.

She got a tattoo... It's Hello Kitty and it's the size of a small coin on her back where nobody can see it but it makes her feel like a badass.

What does each friend think of her new style?

Sam thinks it's cute and buys her accessories she finds when she does her own shopping. (Look at that outfit in the first few chapters. You can't tell me she doesn't have a taste for that darker style herself. Though it leans a bit more punk? to me.)

Chris thinks it's hot. Oh, he liked Ashley then? Ohhhh, he's eating up this new style like he's starved.

Josh also notices Ashley a bit more now that she's taken on this more unique style. Makes him just wanna rip those black ripped leggings right off of her to make snow angels...

Jess thinks it's weird and loserish and she wouldn't hesitate to make that known.

Emily thinks it's weird and childish but she will still support her and buy her clothes if she sees something that reminds her of Ashley while on one of her shopping sprees.

Matt misses the old Ashley but he still values their friendship and will support her new ways.

Mike acts like he doesn't understand it and he doesn't, but he secretly finds it intriguing.

And Hannah and Beth are all for it. Beth teases Ashley with "It's not a phase, mom!" jokes but in a playful way, and Hannah secretly wishes she didn't care what people thought enough to make the style her own as well.

Corpatch babbies! Everyone on this crew is certified Babby. (Yes, even you, Skylar. Sorry I had to separate you from Pink in the final image, it was too wide and I hated it, please I'm sorry, put the wrench away-) Love that I got to mostly copy-pasta Devon, made my life so much easier after the artistic nightmare that was Stacy's outfit. Fun Fact: That dress is one of over a hundred jellyfish-themed lolita dresses I've designed! This one has a box jellyfish on it, along with other pretty deadly sea creatures, and is called 'Killer Cuties'~ Wilhelm gets to have some matchies with his platonic girlfriend as a treat, also (Fun Fact: he absolutely wears those novelty glasses to Serious Events). Skye's outfit upsets me personally but it's not as bad as fucking Finnegan's so they get a pass. Pink is, of course, The Best One, and let it be known that the little leaf pin is a reference to Bay~

Doncaster folks! Such a long image...I blame Vance. Because I always blame things on Vance for some reason. It's just fun, okay? And also I'm bitter about how long it took to draw his damn Bobblehead mech. Him and Aurora both took what felt like a million years to finish, so now Vance has given me additional Drawing Wires trauma, and Aurora somehow seems Too Expensive for me to afford looking at her. Obviously the best part of all of this was everyone's favorite polycule of Brown, Green, and Red (I dare you to suggest they are not Precious), but I also enjoyed trying to come up with an outfit for Umber that screamed 'I think I'm the main character'. XD (If anyone can guess what's supposed to be on Black's shirt, meanwhile, they get a Gold Star!)

And, as a bonus, a goofy scribble comic of the Doncaster AU, which I threw at Crinkle after initially requesting (read: attempting to commission) a What If Scenario where Brown never got brought along with White to the Corpatch, and so never met Pink, thus ensuring Brown remained Terrified of impostors. Because my brain wouldn't stop going hog wild over the concept for some reason. 8|

Finally, a WIP of the Parmenides bastards- uh, I mean, Totally Normal Crew of Fine Individuals who are Not At All Terrible. (Apologies to Danni, Marek, and Ashley for getting mixed up in all this, y'all deserved better.) Bet no one was expecting Johnny to be a certified Gamer Catboi, huh? But I bet everyone was expecting Kyle to look like a Born Republican, and possibly Mitch McConnell's estranged half-brother - cuz that's just how the guy is. So Delightful. Also I was totally not salty about having to look at Purple's stupid smug face again while modifying the copypasta of it, No Sir, why would that ever be the case? He's just so great and not the most hateable character ever or anything. (eyerolling intensifies) In other news, Kage's head is way too small and it's driving me crazy but I'll have to fix it later for the finished full-body chibi+bust piece and I'm D Y I N G. Anyway, no icon spoilers for this one - the fic itself is meant to make the readers wonder who the impostors are, so I'm not going to reveal anything on that front.

I never liked Leon's face model in ID and DI, I wish they would use his face from Damnation. I don't understand why they changed

capcom has never been consistent when it comes to their character designs. that's also why they don't stray too much from outfit choices/colours and hairstyles. otherwise a character can easily be misinterpreted as another imo. example, red is always ada or claire. blue is leon or jill. rebecca is green etc. orange is ashley.

leon has had red, blond, brown and black hair. blue eyes and i think brown??? green? eyes. ada has had brown, green, grey eyes? even now ashley had her iconic amber eyes be switched to a green :| (im not happy about it, i liked her og eye colour better as it was rarer and more unique looking. now ashley looks like any other blonde girl)

leon has kept his hair style and general colour palettes. the only one significantly different was re6 outfit with the red undershirt, as red is not a colour commonly associated with leon. (i like to this it's connected to ada heehee)

to be fair, i think the changes might actually be a good idea in terms of garnering a larger audience. hear me out here.

we have a general idea of what leon looks like. but let's switch the hair colours, okay. now some people love blond leon. and some love dark haired leon. okay now let's tweak some variations of his face. okay some LOVE infinite darkness leon (daddy) and some LOVE babyface re2r leon. and some LOVE damnation leon (daddy) and some LOVE vendetta leon (emo daddy) BUT i have also seen people disliking ALL of these variants of leon.

now the consistent things i've noticed about his face is that he always is depicted with the sharp brow, and he has a very pronounced nose bridge, and the butt chin has been on every modern interpretation of leon since after 2004 (re4) infinite darkness Leon is actually a decent interpretation of re6 leon and damnation leon

in the og timeline, with re4, leon's cheek is cut and has a scar even in re6. because of re4r no longer recreating this cut, we can assume that he will not have a scar in a potential re6r. the scar is also not in any cgi film.

he and ada both share gsw scars in the opposite shoulders, but it's unlikely we will see these. (please let me see them in a movie or game, i am begging you. i want them to kiss each other scars)

i think with so many variations of leon in different companies mind you, since the cgi films are a different production team than the games. it makes sense on why they might have their own versions of leon. at least with the game remakes, we have a more consistent face model for leon. i'll be honest, i am not a fan of re4r leon's face. i like it, it's not my favourite. and that's okay! but here we go now, we've created fun discourse over it lol

my favourite has always been re6 leon. something about his voice (matt mercer) and his design just won me over so much.

also that being said with your original ask, damnation leon is actually one of the more different ones as well. he has a completely different eye colour, same with ada. and the darker hair colour.

and also (allegedly ada was modelled after their voice actors/mocap actors. (for re6) so i want to assume that they did the same for leon/matt mercer/his mocap actor), and i do wonder if they did this for damnation as well.

at least with the remakes it seems they want to be more consistent, which is good. but with capcom's track record, i wouldn't be too sure that they would continue with this route. we might even get a more infinite darkness style face in re6r. who knows. only time will tell lol

I also don’t like her as an agent but mostly because of how stupidly patriotic and kiss-up she is in the remake. Most people make her like that too. I want her to become an agent because she’s been subjected to violence and thinks that fighting back harder is the only thing to do

My favorite is her as a volunteer. I just like that in general, mostly because I think what Claire does is fascinating and I wish it was explored more. Ash doesn’t HAVE to work for TerraSave but I wouldn’t complain if she was

That said one main reason why I like agent Ashley is because it’s the simplest way for her to meet Manuela, and y’all know how much I love Ashuela

Ashley decides quickly to be by Manuela’s side as much as she can, she knows how it is to grow up in isolation and fear and she wants someone to connect with and to let Manuela feel less lonely

Ashley and Manuela both hate their fathers and neither want to keep their fathers’ last name so they ask Leon if they can change their surname to “Kennedy” since he’s like family to both of them. He says yes ofc

Ashuela adopting a kid together because I love picturing them as wholesome moms. Also if it’s not biological the govt has no reason to take the baby away for testing to see if it has T-Veronica or Las Plagas in it

Smaller Ashley hc rapid fire: she’s a natural brunette and stops bleaching her hair when she gets older, she becomes hard of hearing after 4 due to autoimmune inner ear disease, she’s jewish, she has brown eyes, her love for emo music and scene culture never fades even if her style of clothing shifts over time

OK OK AU TIME

What's it about?: This particular AU is about Sally Face if Addison apartments wasn't as screwed up as it was. so no murders are covered up by the cult and no curse binds peoples souls to the Apartments. This means sal never goes on trial for murder, Larry doesn't take his own life, Chug, Soda and everyone else in the Apartments do NOT die and Maple and Todd don't go crazy. This also means that badass Ashley being possessed by sal never happens but hey, it's whatever. Oh, also Lisa and Sal's dad are still together because yes.

Ash(23): she acts like how she does on the game, the cool nonchalant friend and she's dating sal, yes, I ship Sal and Ash and not Sal and Travis, don't worry though, if your a fan of Travis he does get a boyfriend (my oc :3) Ash is one of the people closest to Sal (besides Larry, obvi) and is super supportive and kind towards him, Ash is also really protective of sal and is sceptical of the paranormal explaining everything away with logistics and common sense. Sal and Ash act the same that they do in the game and have had the same experiences as they do in the game + the ones I come up with.

Sal(23): Sal is also how he is in the game, his pigtails are normally up but down sometimes, he is dating Ash and they are very cute together. Since he moved into Addison he has become frenemies with Travis, even closer with Larry and obviously, started dating Ashley. The same way Ash is protective of him, he's protective of her, defending her from people who like to talk shit.

Larry(24): Larry is Sal's step brother, the stereotypical stoner metal head, very nice though, he isn't dating anybody because as he puts it "I'm too cool for people", in reality he just doesn't put himself out there, genuinely he doesn't want to. Larry is usually antisocial, staying in his room in the basement, listening to music and playing video games.

Todd(23): Todd is a nerd, a complete dork. He is dating his boyfriend Neil, who's two years older than him, and has been since he was a freshman in highschool. Todd is a complete believer in the paranormal and actively tries to seek out ghosts even when it's a bad idea, he is usually studying computer science and his house smells like W:3ed because his parents are smokers. He is very smart and logical (unless it comes down to the paranormal)

Neil(25): probably won't show up much, he's tall, very kind towards Todd and his friends. Neil is dating Todd, and is also quite smart.

Travis(23): Travis is queer, but, his dad is homophobic, he has a boyfriend named Ezra (MY OCCCC) who he has to hide from his father but can freely love while with Sal and his group. Travis is hard to write because we see so little of him in the game, same with Neil so I'm trying by best guys 😭.

Ezra(24)I'm going to do a whole descriptions on his, hair eyes, skin because he's not a canonical character and just an oc :/. Ezra is Travis's boyfriend, he lives in Addison apartments and has dark brown hair with an almond skin tone (Google it I swear my boy is not an almond) Jax has vitiligo on his hands, face and legs. He's very self conscious about it but Travis always assured him of how beautiful he thinks Ezra is. Ezra has got a very gothic/emo style, but, comfy gothic/emo, owning wayyyyy to many sweaters and jeans Ezra is really sweet and loving towards everybody. He doesn't have a good home life so he tries to give everybody the best time he can give them because he knows how it feels to be belittled by someone you trust and love.

She reblogged both of these posts and the only hashtag they had in common was “#lost love” - she was searching that hashtag.

I think it’s very clear that today is the day Swiftgron 2.0 broke up.  I believe they were forced to by their management teams due to being outed.

May 4, 2013 - Ours

At her first show since their supposed break-up, Taylor performs Ours as a surprise song. She introduces it by saying: “This is a song about how, when you fall in love everybody starts to give you their opinion. I imagine it could be really hard to make a relationship last, I wouldn’t know. But, given that everyone is giving you their own opinion about it, I think that the only opinion you should really listen to is yours and if you love that person, that should be all that matters.”

Dianna dyes her hair brown and goes to Morocco a week later with Ashley (”You searched the world for something else, To make you feel like what we had”) from about May 11 - May 14 or 15.  While there she attends the A Small World relaunch. ASW could be viewed as a bit “sketchy” if you will.  I think this is where she befriends Olivia Wilde.

This is Dianna’s first (known) trip to Morocco (Derek Blasberg is there too) but she seems to be drawn there over and over again after this, even marrying Winston Marshall there (and possibly meeting another boyfriend, Gus Wenner there.)

May 19, 2013 - Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas

Taylor wins 8 awards and says this during her acceptance speech:

This and the performance of Ours makes me think Taylor is bitter about a break up right now, even though publicly she broke up with Harry back in January.

This is also the event where Taylor is famously grossed out by Justin and Selena’s hetero nonsense and does this:

It seems like as always, Taylor has a lot going on right now...some kind of drama with Justin is boiling but it’s possible she’s also referencing her breakup with Dianna in her acceptance speech.

August 29, 2013 - Dianna steps out with restaurateur Nick Mathers.  

Not sure what to make of this one.  Dianna seems to date two types of men:  1. teeny bopper actors for bearding and pr purposes (it generally seems) and 2. rich businessmen.  Nick is type 2, but their relationship is reported on as if it’s PR.  “Sources” call up gossip sites to fill them in on the relationship and both their projects get plugged along with announcements on them as a couple:

September 4, 2013 - The Fun! Concert:

Swiftgron’s last pre-Kaylor public sighting - they go to a Fun! concert in LA

It’s just a split instant of video footage but Sarah Hyland uploads this to Vine and it does not look like Dianna is enjoying herself:

Note:  It kind of looks like DIanna has her arm around Taylor’s waist and also the person to the right of Taylor is Selby Drummond who is still friends with DIanna as of writing of this masterpost (December 2020) and who still appears to be a fan of Taylor’s.

Dianna does look miserable but I do think it’s interesting they seem to be making an effort to hang out on the two year anniversary of their public (perhaps private as well) first meeting.

September 8, 2013 - Taylor plays Sad, Beautiful Tragic for the first time ever live and gives this speech:

"I kind of feel like playing a song I've never ever played live before. This is um a song that I wrote about how you know just because something's over doesn't mean it wasn't incredibly beautiful. Cause another lesson I've learned is not all stories have a happy ending and you have to learn how to deal with that. So this is a song about a story that didn't end so happily but was still supposed to happen. This is called Sad, Beautiful, Tragic."

I don’t think this song was originally written about Dianna but I do think at this time while they stumble through the last phase of their relationship Taylor was inspired to sing it.

October 2013 - Taylor writes I Wish You Would, a song inspired by an ex who had recently bought a house near her driving past her house.  It’s thought to be about Harry but Harry didn’t buy a house in LA until March 2014.  But of course we know Dianna did buy a house near Taylor’s in LA earlier this fall.

November 11, 2013 - The music video for “She’s Just Another Girl” premiers starring Dianna looking stunning in high fashion drag, dressed up as the lead singer, and lip syncing the words to the song:

born and raised in portland, oregon, ash never really fit in with her family very well. 

her parents were very strict and religious, something ash very early on realized she wanted nothing to do with. however, this would prove to make life very difficult for her at home. especially when ash realized she was gay.

not wanting to pull her punches with her parents and being the rebel that she had become in the household, ash came out to them fairly early on. this resulted in her parents doing everything in their power to get rid of her “lesbian urges”, including abusing her at home and sending her to conversion therapy camp.

ash did really well on the soccer team in high school, and it was looking like she would be offered a college scholarship, but during her senior year, she ruptured her acl and had to undergo surgery, which pretty much took the chance away from her.

while her family easily could have paid for a college education, ash didn’t want to be tied to them more than necessary, so she packed her things and moved to seattle.

she got a job as a bartender, and has been working there since. it works well with her personality, and oftentimes leads to her finding a girl to pickup by the end of her shift – always a nice treat.

trying to cope with the trauma of her teenage years and in an effort to avoid dealing with most things in life, ash got into a bad habit of drinking too much, both at work and on days off, which eventually escalated to abusing drugs sometimes.

six years ago, ash started working for audrey as a delivery driver as well, and there’s nothing ash wouldn’t do for her.

her girlfriend of four years somewhat recently left her due to it, and after her having held ash down for the time they had been together, ash is back to sleeping with anything femme with a pulse, and is spiraling more than ever before, while still trying to get her head back above water on her own.

ash isn’t very selective about who she makes friends with. if you’re nice to her, she’ll be nice to you. while she’s very good at quickly figuring out whether or not you’re worth her time, she will be very slow to judge you and give everyone a fair chance. once you are close with her, she will be very loyal – but she will also expect that back.

ash thrives in chaos. she feels comfortable when everything is falling apart around them and often manages to keep it together in those kinds of environment.

Since the start of 2021, Halsey decided it was her year. Kicking off the new year with two major and meaningful surprise announcements. The New Jersey-bred artist is full of surprises. And it is more about creating a real community around something she feels passionate about and giving a safe space to the outcasts, rebels, and more to be unapologetically themselves. “About-Face” is all about breaking the beauty rules set by anyone, including other makeup brands. It encourages people to be themselves, embraces who they are, steps out of their comfort zone, and try out new bold things, starting with outstanding makeup looks.

Halsey -A.K.A Ashley Nicolette Frangipane- is known for doing her makeup in many big events, like Album covers, award show appearances, on-tour performances, photoshoots, etc. Her love for art and makeup is indescribable; both are-known to be her ways of expression other than music. “I was an art student, so I paint, and I still paint. Makeup has always been something I’ve just been naturally drawn to because I’m very dextrous with a brush and I know a lot about color.” Halsey told Byrdie about her love for painting.

Instagram was the platform that Halsey announced launching “About-Face” on. With a daring campaign video; we were able to get a glimpse of the new makeup brand.
