Because I love Andreil fanfics to an unhealthy degree, here are my recommendations (and like a paragraph each for why you should read them). Also all of them are complete. I couldn't get links to any of the locked content to work, but I still included the recommendations for ao3 account users:

For angsty AUs where college and exy are still things:

-Raised on Little Light by maqicien. Where Wymack adopted Neil at age 13. Good if you like lots of angst, edgy Neil that still gets his damsel in distress moments, and some really cute relationship moments in between.

-There's Just No Getting Through by maqicien (can you tell I like this author?). A series of oneshots where Neil is a Raven and Andrew is still a fox and the two date secretly. Technically, this is a series, and the series itself kind of leaves off at a cliffhanger that could be seen as incomplete. Personally, I just pretend that the last paragraph of the last part doesn't exist and we're good to go. Good if you like pining and edgy Andriel. Andrew especially feels very canon with his personality.

-The Road to Nowhere by emmerrr. A post-apocalyptic world where Neil joins the foxes as they all try to survive at an abandoned PSU. Good if you like your fics to still vaguely follow the bigger points of the canon content, some angst, domestic fluff and of course an edgy (but still damsel) Neil. Honestly just extremely well written and the characters feel very canon personality-wise. (Bonus if you like Renee/Allison)

For post-canon lovers (all except one are about an injured Neil):

-Scribbles and Sticky Notes by Fortheloveofexy. A (long) oneshot where Neil faces a career-ending injury. Read the tags/content warnings to get a better idea of what you're getting into, but this fic hurts so good. Featuring a lot of domestic fluff. I feel like this fic feels extremely true to how middle-aged Andriel would act.

-The Bones of You by emmerrr (again, love this author). Neil and Andrew are married in this! Neil gets injured during an Exy match and goes through a difficult recovery. Featuring the Moriyamas, Renee/Allison (mentioned), Kevin& Allison being besties, Wymack/Abby, and domestic fluff.

- You go your way, I'll go your way too by Emmerrr (Cannot emphasize how good their fics are). The only fic in this section that isn't about Neil getting injured! About the time that Neil and Andrew spend doing long distance. It's adorable.

-Pause and Restart My Heart by knoxham. A two-part series where Neil and Andrew get into a car accident, Neil goes into a coma, Andrew has many feelings. Part two obviously has spoilers for part one, but they're both very much worth the read.

-Calling Me Back Once Again by fuzzballsheltiepants. On a ski trip, Neil gets lost during a storm. An angsty wait for search and rescue to find him ensues.

Other POVs of the canon events/books:

-never fallen (from quite this high) by crystalcrow. The series from Andrew's POV. I really like the twins and their dynamic in this.

-Yes, Coach by emerrr (last fic I'll recommend by them, I promise). The whole series from Wymack's POV. It's a digestible length, so 10/10.

“In the closet.” Lynch smirked, but the pads of his fingers pressed firmly into Adam’s back when Tommy laughed again. Adam knew why Lynch had said it, a joke made at your own expense to better fit in, to go with the flow, to be malicious toward yourself before someone could do it for you, and for a moment, Adam felt bad for Lynch. Every day, he had to hide who he was, not only that he preferred men, but Ronan Lynch as a person, as a whole. Adam was doing it for an evening and he didn’t like it. He didn’t want to think of the impact of doing that day in and day out. 

“Asia,” Adam said, exasperated, and nudged Lynch with his elbow. “Singapore.” 

With a cock of his head, Tommy asked, “Doing what?” 

“What does anyone who wears a suit in Boston do?”

ty @transboybuckley! took a while to come up with something, mostly bc bold of you to assume I remember anything I've written ever...but here's a bit I like from this baby pre-canon fic:

Gansey counted down, loudly and clearly in his lovely voice, and even though Ronan knew it was coming, he still fumbled the jump. He caught up quickly, though, his well-practiced shifting—better than Gansey’s still decidedly shaky driving—making up the slack. The furious orange out of the corner of his eye was a tiger on his heels and he laughed aloud as the needle ticked up and up and up. They blew past the mile marker and Ronan stepped off the gas, allowing the beast beneath him to come to a slow and steady halt. He was flying. He didn’t even turn off the engine as he jumped out of the car and shouted to the sky in triumph. Gansey whooped as he opened his own door and fell out of the Pig, unsteady on his feet. “Jesus, my heart is racing.” His grin was wild, something in his eyes a little unhinged. This was a version of Gansey that Ronan had never seen before. He was hungry—not in the wide-eyed, child-like way that he yearned for Glendower; this was a Gansey hungry for a fight. Ronan ached to give him one. He looked like every dream Ronan had ever tried to forget, and Ronan’s own heart hammered with the thrill of it. He wanted to grab Gansey by the shoulders, to shake him, to punch him, to hug him, to wrestle him to the ground, he wanted, he wanted— He wanted to do it again. They did it again.

oooooh trippy dream sequence for the wip game?

So this one is basically two entirely unconnected dream sequences that are vaguely nightmarish and mostly about their feelings about one another. one scene is from Ronan’s pov and one from Adam’s pov….. no idea where I’m going with it it just sort of Is….

Anyway so this part is an offshoot of that angsty fic of mine where ronan is drunk and adam comes over to check on him but like. Nightmare version lmao

Ronan’s room is dark and cold. Adam is hunched over his dresser, eyeing the textbook. It has a silver lock on it, like a little girl’s diary. Chainsaw has the key in her beak, and she hands it over to Adam before he asks.

Inside, Ronan knows, with the infinite knowledge of dreams, is a journal not unlike Gansey’s. But its subject is not Welsh kings and ley lines. The journal is packed to overflowing with Adam Parrish. Prose and poetry, pictures that come to life when you look at them, pretty songs that play as you turn the pages. There are sketches of his hands, his eyes, the wry twist of his mouth.

Stop, Ronan thinks, but he can’t move, and he can’t speak. He can only watch as Adam flips through page after page of obsession. Adam’s shoulders start to shake. Ronan wonders if he’s crying, but then he hears it. Laughter.

Acid fills the pit of Ronan’s stomach. He finally forces his lips to form the word, “Stop.”

Adam stops.

His head spins around on his neck, independently of his body. When he opens his mouth, black tar pours from it in a thick stream. It soaks his chin, his throat, the back of his shirt. It drips onto the floor.

Adam says, “Lynch,” venomous, like the word lynch, not like his name. Ronan closes his eyes. “Lynch. Look at me, Lynch.”

When Ronan does, Adam’s body spins around with a series of sickening cracks. He throws the journal across the room. Pages scatter all over the ground. While Ronan’s eyes are on it, Adam stalks toward him like a predator.

A hand, gentle and warm, caresses his cheek, and forces Ronan to look up.

Adam says, “You’re pathetic, do you know that?”

Ronan can smell the acrid stench of the slick black coating his teeth. His long legs straddle Ronan’s lap and he cradles Ronan’s face so carefully. “You can’t possibly think that I could ever want you.”

And that’s the problem, isn’t it? Neil doesn’t ask for it. Or at least, he doesn’t ask Andrew.
