Jean is going to fall in love with that man and think of him by way of poetry. he’s going to find all the things that make Jeremy happy, all the things that don’t, and fight to protect that sunshine smile he loves so much and the man that it’s attached to. I just know it.

Jean is such a sweetheart. he’ll make Jeremy’s favorite foods and take Jabberwocky on walks whenever Jeremy wants and always text Jeremy at night with just a simple “Home?” to make sure Jeremy got there safely.

he’ll look at that picture of Jeremy now saved in his phone and never get enough of it because it’ll no longer be “wow, that’s Jeremy Knox” like it was in the Nest but instead “Jeremy. that’s my Jeremy.”

even before they’re together. because let’s be so real: Jean has already had his moments of being so protective and jealous and possessive of Jeremy. and as his feelings grow those emotions will kind of tilt and slide where they need to appropriately be, too.

Jean in love in a healthy way is going to be so fun to watch. and seeing Jeremy get what he deserves finally. it only makes me feel more sappy to know that their hearts are going to say “I love you” long before their mouths do.
