I really love Megan's new album! Worthy is my favourite new song, and Broke My Heart, Otaku Hot Girl and Rattle are up there, too. She ate down!
This and Clancy are my two favourite albums from this year so far. Have been streaming them both so much. As far as I can remember, there aren't any more albums coming out this year that I'm excited for but we'll see.

Clancy - Twenty One Pilots First Listen!!!
My first listen of the album! Spoilers below:
Overcompensate: Love it, already familiar with it. Probably my favourite of the singles released before this album. Love the energy of the song! Love the vocals, instruments, build of it all. When I first listened to this, it reminded me of the start of Spectre (the movie) with the Day of the Dead scene for some reason.
Next Semester: Probably my second-favourite already-released song from the album, love it a lot! Something so comforting about it, does really feel like it's part of a high school movie soundtrack. I'm a big fan of happy, energetic songs, so this is right up my alley for my music taste.
Backslide: Haven't listened to this one as much as the previous two, but it does give Blurryface vibes maybe? And Trench vibes, too, more obvously. Love the little synth-y sounds in this. Love the layers of sound and cute ltitle sound effects in this one.
Midwest Indigo: My immediate thought was like the instrumental was like a The Killers song. Love this! The energy and pace is so exciting!!!! They never fucking miss!!!! It definitely does give The Killers vibes, like Spaceman mixed with some Battle Born vibes. Love it!
Routines In The Night: The drum beat is really good. Very vibey song, can definitely see why people said this was like a combo of Blurryface and Trench. Sounds comforting. So far, this is the best album that's come out this year for me. Better win Grammys. This one is relatable because I've been going to sleep past 5am every night.
Vignette: Immediately love the strings. Holy shit. This one has the energy of a Caravan Palace beat. Sounds so pretty!!! And these high notes are so cunty! It does give woods/foresty vibes. Whatever this little electronic instrument bit is, it is fucking excellent.
The Craving (Jenna's version): Knowing how this is different from the single version, it reminds me of Tyler's Can't Help Falling in Love With You cover. Same kind of loveliness as Tear in My Heart. So calm.
Lavish: Interesting beat in this one. Different energy with this one. Love it! These pretty strings in the background are so nice, definitely fits with the lavishness of it lmao. The line about backshots or whatever is funny.
Navigating: Big drums! High energy! Him emphasising the t in navigating is funny (and good). One thing I love about the songs is that it isn't just 100% all the time and it flows so much nicer than songs with no variation in energy. This little electric guitar or bass sound does give roadtrip vibes.
Snap Back: Really focusing on the lyrics to this one, love the callback to backslide. Think the meaning of this one is similar to Next Semester and Backslide, too. Love the drums! This energy build-up reminds me of Lane Boy a bit. There is a sound effect in this bit that reminds me of the end of Mirrors by Justin Timberlake.
Oldies Station: This one is calmer. This feels like it would be a good one to play live on the piano. Really nice one! Really comforting.
At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb: This is giving some actual Halloween-carnival beat stuff. It is giving circus realness. More Trench-y vibes with this one. No, it is kind of giving Ride. Love the instruments in this one.
Paladin Strait: I know there is something crazy at the end so I wonder what that is. It is reminding me of deserts and the Wild West. Cute drums. Oh I think a switch is about to come. I'm thinking there may be some crazy drum solo? This is the switch... Bird sounds giving the end of Pink + White by Frank Ocean (lmao). Lore references? Bandito mention. OK LOL LETS GO LORE???
Final Thoughts: LOVE IT! Really good album, enjoyed listening to all of them. I can count as this as one of like 3 albums I like with no skips. I think Vignette, Lavish, Routines In The Night and Midwest Indigo are my favourites at this point, along with Overcompensate and Next Semester! Can't wait for the music vids later! Hope it's kind of like what they did with Save Rock and Roll and it kinda makes a little movie.

The Kendrick and Drake beef is crazy. But Kendrick is absolutely clearing with the bars and the beats in these songs. Especially with this new one.

Beyonce's new album is out for me. I really like the first song! I'm not gonna listen to it all in one go but I'm curious because there are 27 tracks.

I'm so excited for all the new albums coming out, especially this new TOP album. Their new single is so good, might be because it reminds me of the energy of the Day of the Dead festival in Spectre. I also saw somewhere that there should be a new Lorde album. And Beyonce and Taylor's albums! And Megan, of course.

Two albums I'm excited for coming out in April, wonder how many more will be announced? A Megan album would be incredible. I would want a new The Killers album but they released one in December.

yes, and? is a good catchy song, and the music video is cute, too!
I'm excited to hear the rest of the album! I do want to listen to full albums as they come out this year because I did it with 1989 TV, Midnights and Renaissance when I first listened to them. Good practice!

Ok so my favourite song is The Man by The Killers, has been for 4 1/2 years, and I discovered recently that they put out a new album. It was the same day Pink Friday 2 came out but the song Spirit scratches my brain so well.
It gives very much classic The Killers and I really love it. I hardly listened to The Killers last year, but I've been bringing it back recently. It might fit with Day and Age, with a bit of Hot Fuss vibes?
This kind of genre is what I really like to hear from them so this is excellent.
Also, I really like Feather by Sabrina Carpenter. Love me some good pop!

My Spotify Wrapped!
I'm sure some people like seeing others' Spotify Wrappeds, and I like using it as a reference for future years.

Genres are actually pretty similar to what I usually have. Pop and modern rock as my top two is a pattern. Normally it's 2 kinds of pop and 2 kinds of rock, and then rap sandwiched in the middle this time.
Weirdly enough, my top Beyonce song is Formation at 10th. That's because I listen to a lot of her songs and 17 of them are in my top 100. Cuff It is my 2nd most listened to Beyonce song but that was earlier in the year when I got into her music properly.
20 of my top 100 songs are Taylor Swift. 7 have Kendrick in them, 5 of them as features (Bad Blood, Freedom, Collard Greens, Money Trees & America Has A Problem) and ADHD and Humble.
Mostly happy songs. A few sad ones like Exit Music (For a Film), Apologize, Chanel, Baby Come Back and Take Me To Church. I'm a big fan of happy upbeat music.
Not really any surprises, glad to see Megan as my third top artist because she's great. Started listening to Doja WAY less after she did all the shit she did but it is what it is. Lots of love songs because they're the best kind!

1989 Taylor's Version!!! :DDD
My opinions and talking about music! Very good time! Waffle too, for breakfast! Long post!
A girl has been a Taylor Swift enjoyer for about a decade so this is great for me. I'm livetweeting my opinions on the songs but I am reminded of just how lifechanging the original album was when it came out 9 years ago!
Back in 2014, my favourites were Shake It Off, Blank Space and Bad Blood. Back then though, when I watched the music video for Bad Blood, I didn't appreciate Kendrick's verse as much as I do now (which is A Lot, he's so fucking talented).
Recently, my favourites from 1989 are New Romantics and You Are In Love. Listening to these so far, being up to Out Of The Woods, I really like them all. They tickle my brain.
I think these versions are better than the originals so far! I'm interested in hearing how my favourite songs sound in this version, which I guess is going to be VERY GOOD.
There are some like All You Had To Do Was Stay, which I have never listened to before. But I like this one! I don't remember all the ones I have listened to, I may have listened to Clean or This Love or I Know Places. I know I haven't listened to I Wish You Would.
This is the fourth time I've listened to an album all the way through in order. First was Save Rock And Roll By FOB, second was Midnights, third was Renaissance by Queen Beyoncé (who I also stan) and now this one! It's weird I guess that I don't go through albums in order, I don't think I did with any P!ATD albums back in 2016, either, but that's when I listened to that FOB album.
I didn't really like the normal Bad Blood version because I only heard it after I grew to love the remix, but I'll see now what my opinions are. I'll compare it to the new remix version, interested to hear the difference in Kendrick's vocals!
The vibes of this album are like a peaceful cool breeze! Very nostalgic!
I like all the songs I have never heard before. Listening to Clean as I write this, I like the instrumental at the start. I like Wonderland's switch in pace towards the start, very exciting! What is also exciting is the fact that You Are In Love and New Romantics are next! My favourites!
Now I am thinking about how I listened to Midnights after finishing an assignment or something and it was an interesting and nice night! A year minus a day ago! The timings are crazy. My favs were Karma, Bejeweled, Lavender Haze, Question? and Mastermind apparently.
With the You Are In Love TV, I need to listen to it more to decide which I like better. This one is much softer. I like this version of New Romantics better, I feel like the instrumentals are softer and work better with her vocals. Feels more nostalgic and ethereal, too, definitely prefer this one I think.
VAULT TRACKS TIME!
"Slut!" is calmer than I thought it would be, I like the instrumentals for this one. It complements her vocals very well. The mixing is good and really fits!
Say Don't Go is nice, I don't feel like I have strong opinions. Until just now, the chorus is nice. Usually not a fan of clap noises like these in music or in general, but it works! It's like the song Hands Clap, it works in that song, too. Unless it's in an ad on TV (television, good to clarify lmao).
Now That We Don't Talk is very relatable to a situation from the fandom I'm in, looking at/listening to the lyrics. I do like this one, too. I feel like I'll grow to have favourite songs as I re-listen again and again. This is just the start. Wish this song was longer!
Suburban Legends reminds me of American college movies, even without me hearing the lyrics. Can picture this in one of those movies. Very much coming-of-age, girl moving out to university in like a city but very much still misses and identifies with the suburbs.
Is It Over Now? intrigues me with the instrumentals. The little "woo" sounds grab my attention. Kind of reminds me of Question? in Midnights, maybe it is in terms of subject matter and sound, a little? This sounds similar to the build-up of Out Of The Woods. I like it.
Bad Blood feat. Kendrick!!! Kendrick's verse bits sound a bit different, especially in the "ain't quite sincere no more" part. There are also these sounds that I can't describe that are now in here and they really catch my attention. Also, am I hearing a tambourine? I don't know! Would have to listen and compare this with the other one to decide which I like more. it is good!
To summarise, really like this album! I think Welcome to NY stands out to me a lot, may be moving up my favourites list! Wonderland was one I had never heard that I really like! Maybe Clean, too. New Romantics is better in this version in terms of instrumental and mixing. I don't think any of these songs are worse than the originals, although I haven't heard all the originals. Taylor did a great job and I'm excited for Rep TV!!! Dress and Delicate TV are gonna destroy me in the best way possible.
