12 Free Things to Do in Dubai
Tumblr media
You might believe it will be challenging to travel to Dubai on a budget because it is recognized as a center of modern design, grandeur, and luxury in general—but you can think wrong! There is good news for vacationers on a tight budget: there is a tonne of free activities and attractions in Dubai. Here are 12 of the finest free things to do in Dubai, whether you want to take in the gleaming modern skyscrapers, learn about the emirate's history and culture, or simply walk outside and enjoy nature. One can get emirates visa for Egypt citizens to simply enjoy the things.
1. Visit the Coffee Museum in Dubai
Fans of coffee, raise your hands! The Dubai Coffee Museum is a fascinating location to learn about everything related to coffee, including its history, various foreign methods and flavors, books and videos to investigate, and even ancient coffee pots and other coffee-making equipment. Additionally, the baristas here are knowledgeable about the brews, so feel free to ask them any questions you may have about beans or brewing; if you're interested, they'll be happy to share their knowledge with you.
2. Ride an abra
Tumblr media
Although it's not exactly free, for only $0.30 USD, it might as well be! We're happy that riding an abra is a reasonably priced activity for most people because it's a must-do in Dubai. Get a taste of history by using this, Dubai's customary ferry system, to traverse Dubai Creek (and a convenient form of transportation). To go to the Dubai Old Souk station or the Bur Dubai station, cross the creek at either the Deira Old Souk abra station or the Al Sabkha station. Apply emirates visa for Egypt nationals to get a ride on Abra.
3. Wander through the Al Fahidi historic district
Are you prepared to learn more about Dubai's past and present? Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the Al Fahidi Historic District. The Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood has a lot to offer, and most of it is free to view, including historic buildings, tea houses, museums, art exhibits, markets, and more.
4. Or flash-forward to the modern era at Alserkal Avenue
More hipster information than historical? Not to worry. Locals congregate on Dubai's obscure Alserkal Avenue, where there are constant events going on and much of it is free to explore. The area is home to art galleries, pop-up stores, cafes and coffee shops, event centers, and more. Experience modern-day Dubai life while spending the day at Alserkal Avenue.
5. Take a day to explore The Dubai Mall
Tumblr media
If you can resist the over 1,200 stores placed inside this huge mall, then yes, this is completely free. One of the largest shopping centers in the world, the Dubai Mall features a wide variety of stores and eateries as well as an aquarium, a movie theatre, an ice skating rink, a virtual reality park, and more. There not being enough shopping for you? Even if you just want to window shop, the Mall of the Emirates boasts a tonne of entertainment options and retail stores.
6. Visit an authentic souk
Of course, you can also have a genuine Dubai shopping experience at a neighborhood souk if a mall isn't quite your thing. Our favorite souks are the Spice Souk and the Gold Souk. Even if you decide not to make a purchase, a stroll around these traditional markets while window shopping is the ideal opportunity to fully experience Dubai's sights, sounds, and fragrances.
7. Take a free tour of the Bur Dubai Grand Mosque
Are you curious to know more about Dubai's culture? The Grand Mosque, one of Dubai's most recognizable houses of worship, is a good place to start. The tour, which is entirely free, includes a tour of the mosque, a prayer demonstration, an explanation of Islamic principles, refreshments, and more. If you're interested in Islam or Dubai's culture, you should also visit the Jumeirah Mosque. For further details, visit their website, and be sure to dress modestly.
8. Go hiking at Hatta
Tumblr media
One of Dubai's most well-known attractions is Hatta, and it's the ideal location to visit when you need a vacation from the city. Take a bike ride, take in the scenery, go trekking in the foothills of the Rockies, or do something else. Of course, exploring is free, but if you have extra cash, there are adventurous activities like paragliding, horseback riding, and kayaking available.
9. Get a tan
Take your pick from the deserts or the beaches in Dubai; it's simple to accomplish this. Add Kite Beach Dubai and The Beach opposite JBR to your list if you're prepared for a day at the beach (those are our favorites). You have a tonne of options if you're going to the desert: spend money on an overnight desert safari or camp for nothing at Al Qudra. Even though it's only a fast 30-minute drive from the city, you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere with the opportunity to explore both lakes and sand dunes.
10. Bask in Dubai’s stunning architecture
Tumblr media
Of course, you may experience Dubai on a budget without leaving the city. Among the top free activities in Dubai? Take a tour of the area to see some of the city's most beautiful buildings and skyscrapers. A must-see is the Burj Khalifa, the highest structure in the entire world, the Burj Al Arab, and the Cayan Tower.
11. Soak in the sunset at the Dubai Marina
Want some instantly captivating views? You only need to consider the Dubai Marina. There are plenty of activities available if you want to spend the afternoon or just go for a fast run around the 5.3-mile boardwalk loop that is surrounded by stores, accommodations, and restaurants. Visit at sunset for the greatest sights, expert advice advised.
12. Watch the flamingos at the Ras Al Khor wildlife sanctuary
Tumblr media
Animal lover? The flamingos steal the show at this nature refuge, which is conveniently located close to the city and is home to thousands of birds, fish, and other animals. Come for some photos for Instagram and stay to discover more about the amazing creatures and distinctive habitats they call home. You can get emirates visa for Egypt passport holders and enjoy in Dubai.

Tumblr media
I look at photos of "Ukrainians" evacuated from Gaza and remember our former consul in Dubai. I adore him. The most in the world he hated Muscovites, Syrians, and Egyptians with forged Ukrainian passports. In second place, he hated women who came to the consulate for a certificate of marital status because they were going to marry Syrians, Palestinians, or Egyptians.
After the traditional greeting, "Are you stupid?" there was an obligatory conversation about, "You will come to me again in a year, wearing a hijab and sobbing that the child is being taken away." 50% came in a year wearing a hijab and wrote statements that a child was being taken away from a Ukrainian citizen, the rest came in the second year.
The most spectacular case was a woman who brought her child's Jordanian passport and demanded that the Ukrainian be returned to her. The child did not have a Ukrainian passport because she did not need one, and they did not make it. But the child is UKRAINIAN!!!!! Help, Mr. Consul, we have rights!!!
He told her that until she brings him a passport of a citizen of Ukraine with a residence visa pasted there, she is not in his jurisdiction at all and can apply to the Jordanian consulate. "Are you normal at all?" said the woman and began scribbling complaints to Ministry of International Affairs.
I remember a case when a Ukrainian woman came to demand "to prevent her husband from obtaining Ukrainian citizenship", because they found out that he has another family in Syria, and he just wanted a Ukrainian passport, so he got married, gave her a child, and actually planed to transport from Syria his first family with 3 children and therefore applied for citizenship without her knowledge. Because when she got married, she didn't know about the second family, and that's why she doesn't want a passport for him now)))))
If anyone is wondering how this case ended, the dude didn't get a Ukrainian passport because he died suddenly. He had a heart attack. In Syria, when he went to his second family. His Ukrainian wife cried a lot. She wrote him poems about eternal love and an image forever in the memory in the heart. And she got married a second time. For a citizen of Egypt, but 20 years younger than the first husband. They live in Brazil as war refugees.
A separate category was made up of Ukrainian women who came with their children's Syrian and Egyptian passports and demanded visas for their children. The consul explained that you just need to make a Ukrainian passport for the child. Because according to the law, a child born to a citizen of Ukraine is a citizen of Ukraine, and it is stupid to issue a visa to Ukraine to a citizen of Ukraine!!!! But they said "fuuuuuu nooooo who needs it".
The most difficult case was the case of a Ukrainian woman who worked in Jordan, got married there, and gave birth to a child. Her husband beat her, so one day she took the child and went to Ukraine, and four years later, she signed a work contract in Dubai, where she was arrested by Interpol right at the airport. It was very difficult for the consul to get permission to visit, because it turned out that all these 4 years she was wanted internationally for kidnapping. The husband woke up and found neither his wife nor his child. And turned to Interpol. The girl's mother went to all ministries and wrote down complaints.
The ministries transferred the complaint to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and they wrote a demand to the Consulate "to prevent the extradition of a citizen of Ukraine to Jordan." The consul submitted a note to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Emirates. There they said, Ukrainians are you fucking crazy???? Do you mind, that they are still married and he is looking for his wife?? When the Consul asked this question to the woman, she said: "T'hu!!! Was it marriage? We just stayed in the mosque for a little while. It doesn't count, and it was a joke in general. I do not consider myself married. He insulted me." That day the Consul bursted out. He said he couldn't do it anymore. This is pyzda and he will go to ATO. About how he mobilized after the start of the full-scale and to which brigade I will never say even under tortures.)))))
By the way, the standard "you will come to speak in a hijab" always had a standard answer: "Oh well, you know... But he is completely different, not like other traditionalists. He's from a good family. You don't know him at all. My Mohammed is Different."
By the way, after the start of full-scale worlwide problems, the new consul's job became much less stressful. Because all the Syrians, Jews and Palestinians en masse made Canadian visas, like Ukrainian refugees, and went to Canada.
Well, to be objective, I do know one case of a marriage between a Ukrainian woman and a Syrian man, where the woman was the queen. And not just as a queen, this woman came to her husband's family once a year with an inspection from Lviv, where she and her husband lived, and made the whole family dance. "Everyone dances"!!!! The man, as a proud eastern testosterone alpha male, realized that the only way to crawl out from under that heel is to the grave. He did it when he got cancer. That's why. International marriages of distant cultures are possible. But they need a special character from a woman. Ukrainian women demonstrate such traits, unfortunately, rarely.

For Egyptian citizens planning a trip to this vibrant city, understanding the visa requirements and application process is crucial. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about obtaining a dubai visa for egyptian citizens.
Types of Visas Available
When traveling to Dubai, Egyptian citizens can apply for several types of visas depending on the purpose of their visit:
Tourist Visa: Ideal for those visiting Dubai for leisure or tourism. Tourist visas are generally valid for 30 days but can be extended for an additional 30 days if required.
Transit Visa: If you’re passing through Dubai on your way to another destination and have a layover of 8 to 96 hours, a transit visa is suitable. This visa is usually issued for a short duration, and specific conditions apply.
Business Visa: For Egyptian citizens visiting Dubai for business meetings, conferences, or other professional activities. This visa can be single-entry or multiple-entry and usually has a validity period ranging from 30 to 90 days.
Visit Visa: If you’re visiting family or friends residing in Dubai, you’ll need a visit visa. This is typically valid for 30 or 90 days and requires a local sponsor.
Long-Term Visa: For those looking to stay in Dubai for an extended period, such as for employment or long-term residency, there are options like the 5-year and 10-year long-term visas, which cater to investors, entrepreneurs, and skilled professionals.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for a Dubai visa, Egyptian citizens must meet specific eligibility criteria:
Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of your planned entry into Dubai.
Proof of Financial Stability: You may need to show proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay in Dubai. This could be bank statements, employment letters, or other financial documents.
Return Ticket: A return or onward travel ticket is usually required to ensure that you have plans to leave Dubai before your visa expires.
Accommodation Details: Proof of accommodation in Dubai, such as a hotel booking or a letter from a host, is often necessary.
Application Process
Determine Visa Type: First, identify the type of visa you need based on your purpose of visit. This will determine the documentation required and the process you need to follow.
Gather Required Documents: Depending on the visa type, you’ll need to prepare various documents, including:
A completed visa application form
Passport-sized photographs
A copy of your passport
Proof of travel arrangements (e.g., flight booking)
Proof of accommodation
Financial documents
Submit Application: You can apply for a Dubai visa through several channels:
Emirates Airline or Other Airlines: If you’re flying with Emirates or another major airline, you can often apply for a visa directly through their services.
Travel Agencies: Many travel agencies offer visa services and can handle the entire application process for you.
UAE Embassy/Consulate: You can also apply through the UAE Embassy or Consulate in Egypt, though this process might be more time-consuming.
Processing Time: The processing time for a Dubai visa generally ranges from 3 to 7 business days, depending on the type of visa and the completeness of your application. It’s advisable to apply well in advance of your planned travel date to account for any potential delays.
Receive Visa: Once your visa is approved, it will be sent to you electronically or as a physical copy, depending on how you applied. Make sure to check the visa details for accuracy, including the validity dates and the number of entries allowed.
Tips for a Smooth Application
Double-Check Requirements: Ensure you meet all the visa requirements and provide accurate information in your application to avoid delays or rejections.
Apply Early: Start your application process early to avoid any last-minute issues. This is especially important during peak travel seasons when visa processing times can be longer.
Consult Professionals: If you’re unsure about any part of the visa application process, consider consulting with a professional travel agency or visa consultant.
Stay Updated: Visa policies and requirements can change, so it’s essential to check the latest information from official sources or your local UAE embassy before applying.
What to Do if Your Visa is Denied
If your visa application is denied, you will receive a notification explaining the reason for the rejection. Common reasons for denial include incomplete documentation, financial issues, or previous immigration violations. To address this, you can:
Review the Rejection Notice: Understand why your application was denied and rectify any issues.
Reapply: Correct the mistakes and submit a new application if applicable.
Seek Advice: Consult with a visa consultant or the UAE embassy for guidance on how to improve your application.
Conclusion
Obtaining a Dubai visa as an Egyptian citizen involves understanding the various types of visas available, meeting the eligibility criteria, and following the correct application process. By preparing your documents carefully and applying early, you can ensure a smooth and successful application process. Dubai awaits with its blend of modern marvels and traditional charm, and with the right preparation, your trip can be both memorable and enjoyable.

Hamas Linked Islamist Organization Is an IRS approved 501 (c) (3) charity. We can put a stop to this nonsense
Brothers and Sisters;
The Council on American Islamic relations (CAIR), an organization US Air Force Investigator and Investigative reporter David Gaubatz called the Muslim Mafia, is a proven front for the terrorist organization Hamas, and according to the Justice department an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land terrorist financing trial, CAIR Is listed by the IRS as a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt charity.
CAIR’s connection with Hamas was most recently brought to CAIR national director Nihad Awad gave a speech referring to the horrific Hamas October 7, 2023 stating that he was “happy to see the event and that Palestinians in Gaza have a right to self defense but that Israel does not. The speech so shocked the White House that a spokesman for President Biden condemned the remarks by Nihad Awad, the national executive director of CAIR.
Additionally, in 2014, the United Arab Emirates officially designated CAIR as a terrorist organization.  In 2006 the co-founder of CAIR's parent organization, the Islamic Association for Palestine was sentenced to 57 months in prison on terrorist financing Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a designated terrorist organization and ally of Hamas also involved in the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel.  In 2004, CAIR's northern Virginia director Abdurahman Alamoudi pled guilty to terrorism and conspiracy charges and was sentenced to 23 years.
Islamic convert Randall Todd Royer, CAIR communications specialist and civil rights coordinator trained withal Qaeda linked Kashmiri terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and was charged with conspiring to aid al-Qaeda and Taliban battling US troops in Afghanistan and sentenced to 20 years on April 9, 2004. In September 2003 CAIR former Community Affairs Director Bassem Khafagi pled guilty to bank and visa fraud and agreed to be deported to Egypt after he had financed terrorism and published materials advocating suicide attacks against the US and other illegal activities that had taken place while he was employed by CAIR.
CAIR Michigan fundraiser Rabih Kaddad was arrested on terrorism related charges and deported from the US due to his work as Executive Director of the Global Relief Foundation, which was accused by the Treasury Department of financing al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations.
As such in addition to enjoying tax advantages of their own, CAIR's 501 (c) (3) status makes it eligible to receive donations from foundations that are also.  Some of the foundations that have made donations to CAIR include American Online Giving Foundation, the California Endowment, the Weingart Foundation, Schwab Charitable Fund, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, East Bay Community Foundation and many others.
Fortunately there are remedies available to informed and concerned citizens.  Any citizen can complain that an undeserving organization is enjoying tax exempt status by one of these two processes the public can use to notify the IRS of perceived violations by tax-exempt organizations. The first is filing IRS Form 13909. Please feel free to use any or all of
You may also send your complaint in either letter or 13909 format to [email protected] or by snail mail to TEGE Referrals Group, 1100 Commerce Street, MC 4910 DAL, Dallas, TX 75242.
Please also contact foundations that have contributed to CAIR to both inform them of CAIR's terrorist ties and that CAIR's activities could potentially jeopardize their own 501 (c) (3) status.  If you want you can forward any complaint you have sent to the IRS and I will forward it to foundations that have contributed to CAIR for you.

Countries that provide dual citizenship with the UK
In the UK, having dual citizenship means having simultaneous citizenship in the United Kingdom and another nation. Those with family links abroad or those who wish to move freely between nations may find it advantageous.
Although having two citizenships has certain drawbacks (such paying taxes twice, having military responsibilities, or not being eligible for some government programmes), they are usually offset by the positives according to the top immigration lawyers in London. With a few notable exceptions, the UK permits dual citizenship with several other nations.
Advantages of Dual Citizenship
If you are not a British citizen and you want to relocate to the UK, you may wish to think about requesting dual citizenship. The following are some advantages of dual citizenship with the UK:
1. Staying in Both Nations
You are able to reside in two nations concurrently. This implies that you can still go to or remain in England for extended periods of time without losing your rights as an Englishman, even if your spouse or children have relocated abroad and you intend to retire there.
2. Right to Vote
You are eligible to vote in both nations' elections. Since it is lawful in the majority of nations with dual citizenship legislation, many people actually take advantage of this opportunity by casting two ballots during elections.
Keep in mind that several nations only permit voting in parliamentary elections—not municipal ones. You will not be eligible to vote in local or parliamentary elections if you have resided outside of the UK for more than 15 years.
3. Hassle-free Travel
You don't need a passport or a visa to travel freely across the UK. When travelling as a dual citizen, there should be no issues as long as you carry your British passport with you and consult one of the immigration lawyers in London.
4. Social Benefits
Possessing dual citizenship entitles you receive social advantages from both nations. This covers social security, health insurance, and other government-funded initiatives.
More About Dual Citizenship in the UK
Being a citizen of more than one nation, or holding two citizenships, is known as dual nationality.
This may be the result of your parents' different nationalities or the fact that you were born in one location and later relocated.
Additionally, there are other kinds of dual citizenship:
Dual Nationality by Birth
In the event that you were born in the United Kingdom or a British Overseas Territory, you must verify your eligibility and apply for citizenship.
Depending on where and when you were born, as well as the circumstances surrounding your parents, you may potentially qualify if you have a parent who has a British citizenry.
You could be able to register as a British citizen, for instance, if both of your parents are British citizens, or if one of them is and the other has the right to remain in the country indefinitely.
Dual Nationality through Naturalization
You might have to give up your original citizenship if you wish to seek for naturalization in another nation to obtain a second citizenship.
Countries That Provide Dual Citizenship with the UK
There are many countries which allow dual citizenship. Some of the countries that permit UK dual citizenship include:
Armenia
Australia
Bangladesh
Barbados
Belgium
Canada
Croatia
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Denmark
Egypt
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Iceland
Iraq
Ireland
Israel
Italy
Kenya
Latvia
Lebanon
Liechtenstein
Luxembourg
Malta
Pakistan
Philippines
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Serbia
Slovenia
South Africa
Sri Lanka
Sweden
Switzerland
Syria
Thailand
Tonga
Turkey
United Arab Emirates (UAE)
United States
Eligibility for UK’s Dual Citizenship
There are conditions that must be fulfilled if you are a citizen of the United Kingdom and wish to get dual citizenship. Finding out if you qualify for dual nationality in the UK—that is, having dual citizenship with another nation—is the first stage in the process.
To qualify for this opportunity, you must be:
18 years of age or older
possess a minimum of 12 months' worth of UK residency (unless married to a British citizen or established person)
You must have passed the Life in the UK exam and the English language proficiency criterion.
have not violated any immigration laws in the UK while you were a qualified resident
You must fulfil the prerequisites listed above in addition to possessing another citizenship or being eligible for

From learning about the country’s culture and attractions to obtaining a visa and figuring out accommodation, this Kuwait Tour Guide will be your go-to source for everything you need to know. So, read on and get ready to explore this unique destination!
History
Kuwait has a long and storied history that dates back centuries. It was first settled in the early 18th century by Bedouins, who had migrated from the interior of Arabia. Kuwait then came under the rule of the Ottoman Empire until 1871, Explore kuwait when Sheikh Mubarak Al Sabah became the leader of an independent state. After his death, he was succeeded by his sons, who continued to rule until 1961, when Kuwait gained full independence from Britain. Since then, Kuwait has seen tremendous economic growth and development, which has allowed it to become one of the world’s richest countries. The country also played a key role in both Gulf Wars, helping to free Kuwait from Iraq’s invasion in 1991. Today, Kuwait is a vibrant and modern country that offers plenty of opportunities for both visitors and residents alike.
Geography
Kuwait is a small country located in the eastern Arabian Peninsula, bordering Iraq and Saudi Arabia. The terrain of Kuwait consists primarily of the flat desert plain and sandy coastline, with rocky outcroppings found in some areas. Kuwait has an area of 17,820 square kilometers, making it slightly smaller than the state of New Jersey. The highest point in Kuwait is located at the top of Mount Kabir, which stands at 306 meters. Kuwait also has nine islands, two of which (Failaka Island and Bubiyan Island) are inhabited. The climate in Kuwait is an arid desert, with hot summers and cool winters. The average temperature ranges from 5°C in winter to 48°C in summer. The country receives an average of approximately 83 mm of rain per year, with most of the rainfall occurring during the winter months. Winds from the northwest are common, especially in the spring. Kuwait’s natural resources include petroleum, natural gas, fish and shrimp. The country is known for its oil reserves, estimated to be over 95 billion barrels, making it one of the largest in the world. Kuwait also has considerable reserves of natural gas, estimated to be around one trillion cubic feet.
Demographics
Kuwait is a small but diverse country with a population of around 4.2 million people. Of those, 1.3 million are Kuwaiti citizens and the rest are ex-pats from other countries. The largest non-Kuwaiti ethnic group is made up of people from India and Pakistan, with smaller numbers from Egypt, the Philippines, Iran, and other countries. The majority of Kuwaiti citizens are Arab and belong to the Sunni Muslim faith. About 15% of Kuwait’s population is Shia Muslim. Kuwait also has small numbers of Christian, Hindu, and Buddhist citizens. Kuwait is one of the most urbanized countries in the world, with over 75% of its population living in cities. The capital city of Kuwait City is home to around 80% of the country’s population. Other major cities in Kuwait include Jahra, Ahmadi, Salmiya, and Hawalli. Kuwait has a high literacy rate of 94%, and its citizens enjoy free access to education and healthcare. In recent years, the government has introduced programs to help improve the lives of Kuwaiti women and children, including making female participation in the workforce mandatory and providing free education for children up to the age of 18.
Government
Kuwait is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system of government, ruled by the Al-Sabah family. The country is headed by an emir who has absolute power and is appointed by the National Assembly. The Prime Minister, who is appointed by the Emir, serves as head of government and oversees the executive branch. Kuwait also has a separate judicial branch of government, headed by a Supreme Court. The National Assembly, Kuwait’s legislature, consists of two chambers: the Consultative Council and the National Assembly. The National Assembly has the authority to pass laws, ratify treaties, approve budgets, and make other important decisions. The Consultative Council, on the other hand, is responsible for advising the government on policy matters. Kuwait’s legal system is based on a combination of Islamic law and civil law. Kuwaiti citizens enjoy a high level of political freedom and civil rights. However, some aspects of the country’s legislation do not conform to international standards and may be considered oppressive to women and religious minorities. Kuwait is a member of several international organizations, including the United Nations, Arab League, Gulf Cooperation Council, and World Trade Organization. The country is also a member of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
Economy
The economy of Kuwait is considered to be one of the most diversified and advanced in the region. It is primarily based on the oil and gas sector, which accounts for nearly half of the GDP and more than 90% of exports. Kuwait has been a major producer and exporter of oil since the 1950s. The other major sectors in the economy are finance, telecommunications, real estate, retail, hospitality, and manufacturing. Kuwait is the second richest country in the world with regard to its GDP per capita and has an open and largely non-restrictive trade regime. The Central Bank of Kuwait is responsible for managing the country’s monetary policy and its foreign exchange reserves. Kuwait also has a large sovereign wealth fund, the Kuwait Investment Authority, which invests in international markets. The country has been able to maintain a healthy fiscal balance despite declining oil prices in recent years due to prudent fiscal policies and expenditure management. The government has also taken several measures to diversify the economy away from oil, including encouraging private sector investment and development in various industries such as tourism and finance.
Tourism
Kuwait is not generally considered a traditional tourist destination, but it offers a unique experience for travelers looking to explore the Arabian Gulf region. As Kuwait is quite small and most of the attractions are close together, it is easy to get around and explore the area. The city of Kuwait City is home to numerous historical sites and cultural attractions such as the Kuwait Towers, Kuwait Tour Guide & the Grand Mosque, and Souk Al-Mubarakiya. The Kuwait Science and Natural History Museum, Kuwait National Museum, and Seif Palace are also great places to visit. There are also many parks and public gardens, such as Liberation Tower Park, the Fahaheel Marine Park, and the Shuwaikh Port Park. The city of Jahra is known for its beaches and other outdoor activities, including water sports, fishing, and camel racing. The coastal town of Failaka Island is a popular destination due to its abundance of wildlife and marine life. The Kuwait Desert is also worth a visit as it is filled with sand dunes and archaeological sites. Overall, Kuwait provides an interesting destination for travelers looking to explore a unique country with a rich history and culture. With its numerous historical sites, modern architecture, stunning beaches, natural parks, and desert landscapes, Kuwait offers something for everyone.

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
July 20, 2021
Heather Cox Richardson
Today, the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Eastern District of New York indicted three men for illegally influencing the foreign policy positions of a presidential candidate and then, after the election, of the United States government.
They were acting in the interests of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a wealthy country in the Persian Gulf. The candidate was Donald Trump, and one of the three men was his ally Thomas Barrack. Another was Matthew Grimes, a 27-year-old employee who reported to Barrack. The third was UAE citizen Rashid al-Malik Alshahhi, who lived in California until 2018, leaving abruptly after the FBI interviewed him about the case.
The return of Barrack to the news recalls the outsized influence of foreign actors in the previous administration, and how U.S. policy appeared to change to suit their interests. On Twitter, Mark Mazetti of the New York Times wrote: “One of the mysteries of Trump's first six months was why the administration came out of the gate so hot for Saudi and UAE—with Trump traveling to Saudi Arabia and then going along with the Qatar blockade. The Tom Barrack indictment explains a lot.”
A billionaire private equity real-estate investor and longtime ally of Trump, Barrack was a key fundraiser for Trump’s campaign, which he advised between April and November 2016. In June 2018, New York Times reporter David D. Kirkpatrick wrote a profile of Barrack, explaining that he is the son of Lebanese immigrants to Los Angeles and so grew up speaking Arabic, which helped him do business and make contacts in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Barrack got to know Trump in the real estate world of the 1980s, and by 2010, he acquired $70 million of Jared Kushner’s debt and retired enough of it to keep Kushner from bankruptcy. When Trump launched his 2016 campaign with anti-Muslim rhetoric, Barrack calmed his Middle East contacts down, assuring them that Trump was simply using hyperbole.
Barrack urged Trump to hire Paul Manafort—fresh from his stint working for a Ukrainian oligarch—and served as chair of Trump’s inaugural committee. Grimes and Barrack proposed to contacts in the UAE that it should use “its vast economic surplus to obtain a level of influence…which the country should rightfully command.” They suggested it should use financial investments to “increase [its] influence with USA and European governments and people.”
A final draft of their proposal explained that “[w]hile the primary purpose of the platform [will be] to achieve outsized financial returns, it will also…garner political credibility for its contributions to the policies of [the recently elected Candidate, hereinafter, the ‘President-Elect’]....We will do so by sourcing, investing, financing, operationally improving, and harvesting assets in those industries which will benefit most from a [President-Elect] Presidency.”
Barrack’s investment firm raised more than $7 billion between 2016 and 2018, 24% of it from either the UAE or Saudi Arabia.
According to today’s charges, once Trump was in office, Barrack continued to lobby for the UAE until April 2018. He allegedly worked with allies in the UAE to draft passages of Trump’s speeches, hone press materials, and prepare talking points to promote UAE interests. Without ever registering as a foreign agent, he worked to change U.S. foreign policy and appoint administration officials to meet a “wish list” produced by UAE officials.
Barrack helped to tie the Trump administration to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, turning the US away from Qatar, an ally that hosts US air bases (although they are now being closed as bases and in the process of becoming housing for our Afghan allies before their US visas come through). From the beginning, the administration worked closely with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed, who controls $1.3 trillion in sovereign wealth funds and essentially rules the UAE, and with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), whom Prince Mohammed championed.
In May 2017, Trump advisers Jared Kushner and Steve Bannon, along with Saudi and UAE leaders, met without the knowledge of then–Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to talk about blockading Qatar. When Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt launched a blockade on June 5, 2017, Trump cheered them on, although the State Department took a neutral stand and the Pentagon thanked Qatar for hosting US troops.
Today, prosecutors said that Barrack provided foreign government officials “with sensitive non-public information about developments within the Administration, including information about the positions of multiple senior United States government officials with respect to the Qatari blockade conducted by the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries.”
They say he also "met with and assisted senior leaders of the KSA [Kingdom of Saudi Arabia], a close ally of the UAE."
In May 2019, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declared an emergency to bypass congressional oversight of an $8 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia and the UAE. After the UAE signed onto the Abraham Accords, normalizing relations with Israel, the U.S. sold them another $23 billion of arms, including 50 F-35 advanced fighter planes.
Barrack and Grimes were arrested this morning in California.
When announcing the arrests, William F. Sweeney, Jr., Assistant Director-in-Charge of the FBI’s New York Field Office, said, “American citizens have a right to know when foreign governments, or their agents, are attempting to exert influence on our government. This is especially important to Americans during a Presidential election year, and the laws on the books were created to protect our nation from such untoward influence. This case is about secret attempts to influence our highest officials.”
Acting Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s National Security Division Mark J. Lesko said, “Through this indictment, we are putting everyone—regardless of their wealth or perceived political power—on notice that the Department of Justice will enforce the prohibition of this sort of undisclosed foreign influence.”
Acting U.S. Attorney Jacquelyn M. Kasulis said, “These arrests serve as a warning to those who act at the direction of foreign governments without disclosing their actions, as well as those who seek to mislead investigators about their actions, that they will be brought to justice and face the consequences.”
Prosecutors warned that Barrack was a flight risk because of his wealth, private jet, and “deep and longstanding ties to countries that do not have extradition treaties with the United States”: Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
Barrack’s lawyer says that Barrack “has made himself voluntarily available to investigators from the outset,” possibly indicating a willingness to flip.
A judge has ordered Barrack be held in custody until a bail hearing on Monday.

How do I set up a company in Qatar?
Qatar National Vision 2030, a development plan launched in 2008, initiated the country's economic diversity in non-oil sectors and oversaw numerous improvements in international investment policies and procedures. The country's rich economy, world-class infrastructure, and the lowest corporate tax rates make company formation in Qatar particularly appealing to foreign investors.
The Al Ula agreement, reached on January 5 at the 41st summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), lifted the economic and diplomatic blockade imposed on Qatar by other GCC countries including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, and Egypt, is also good news for international investors.
Tumblr media
Who can start a business in Qatar?
There are certain criteria to be met to start a business in Qatar.
You can only begin doing business in Qatar as a foreign investor if you have a minimum authorized share capital of USD 55,000 and at least one local Qatari partner. Private LLC companies are the most standard business setups, with the foreign investor owning up to 49% of the shares, with the remaining 51% held by the Qatari partner, who is typically an expert passive Qatari shareholder. Though limited, the Ministry of Business and Trade may authorize 100% foreign ownership on a case-by-case basis and in specific sectors such as agriculture, health, education, tourism, information technology, and entertainment.
What business structures are available in Qatar?
The following are the business structures available in Qatar:
Sole Proprietorship Company
Shareholding Company
Simple Partnership Company
General Partnership Company
Limited Liability Company
International Engineering Consultancy Office (IECO)
Branch Office
Representative Office
If you do not want a Qatari shareholder and do not want to make a large investment, you can sign an agency agreement with a professional agent or distributor.
How to set up an e-commerce business in Qatar?
Because Qatar is a wealthy country that has a high level of disposable income among its citizens, an e-commerce business with only 20% penetration can provide enormous business opportunities to foreign investors. With high-speed internet availability, internet penetration is nearly 100%.
Furthermore, you do not need to be a legal resident to be a partner in an online business, and you can even start one while on a business visa. The first step is to register your company with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI), the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), or the Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP).
Procedures to follow to start a business in Qatar
There are many procedures to follow before company formation in Qatar. Some of them are:
Approval of proposal
Applying for tax card and issuing company stamp
Applying for computer card upon receipt of trade license
Registration with Chamber of Commerce
The above are only a few of the formalities. There are many more depending on the type of business you are planning to set up.

Guide to the best free things to do in Dubai
Tumblr media
Dubai is renowned for its opulent five-star accommodations and big commercial centers. But if you browse long enough, you'll also discover a tonne of fantastic activities that are free! Here is an insider's list of Dubai's top free activities that one can enjoy after applying for an emirates visa for Egypt citizens.
1. Visit Aquaventure Waterpark
Tumblr media
Yes, on your birthday each year, you are entitled to a complimentary admission pass to Aquaventure at the Atlantis, The Palm hotel. You will receive a "Free Aquaventure Waterpark Birthday Offer" voucher if you enter your birthday on this page. This voucher is good for the day of your birthday and the six days after (you can only use it once, of course). One of the finest value-free activities in Dubai, given the price of a standard Aquaventure ticket!
2. Visit Coffee Museum Dubai
Tumblr media
This resembles a hybrid museum, shop, and shrine dedicated to everything coffee! The Coffee Museum Dubai, housed in a villa in the Al Fahidi area, provides a history of coffee as well as an outstanding collection of artifacts, including a 300-year-old coffee pot. Books on coffee, vintage coffee advertisements, and several roasting demonstrations fill the museum with a delicious aroma. The employees can probably answer any queries you have about coffee because they are very knowledgeable about the bean. Entry is free, but we strongly advise leaving without purchasing a cup of coffee from the shop. We guarantee you won't regret it.
3. Ride an abra
Tumblr media
Okay, so it's not really free, but at Dh1 per ride, it's still a great deal! One of the nicest experiences in the city for the money is riding the abra boats at Dubai Creek. You can board one of the small, commuter-filled wooden boats and cruise down the creek while admiring the fantastic view of both the old and new Dubai. The main abra stations are located at the Dubai Gold Souq and the Old Souq of Dubai.
4. Check out the art at AlSerkal Avenue
Tumblr media
Dubai doesn't only have brand-new, gleaming skyscrapers! And if you take the time to go a little further, you'll find that AlSerkal Avenue is home to a sizable portion of an eclectic, diverse cultural scene. You can meander in and out of as many galleries, pop-up stores, or concept spaces as you like in the Al Quoz gallery district for free before stopping for a hot beverage or cold-pressed juice at one of the coffee shops.
5. Go camping
Tumblr media
One of the coolest and most enjoyable free activities in Dubai is camping. Just a few kilometers outside of the city, there are many quiet (and not-so-secluded, if you're not feeling bold!) places to set up tents in the desert. In the summer, when many ex-pats go away, Dubizzle is a terrific place to get amazing discounts on used camping gear. After you apply emirates visa for Egypt nationals then you can avail this amazing activity in Dubai.
6. Hit the beach
Tumblr media
Dubai has some fantastic free, public beaches where you can have a good time without spending any dirhams. Three of the most well-known beaches include JBR Beach, Kite Beach Dubai, and Umm Suqeim Park Beach. Kids can participate in a variety of activities at JBR Beach, and you can spend as much or as little money as you like at the adjacent cafes, stores, and restaurants. Read more about our selections for Dubai's Top 8 Beaches here.
7. See the Ras Al Khor flamingos
Tumblr media
Many of the hundreds of pink flamingos that reside in the water near the intersection of Ras Al Khor Road and the Dubai-Al Ain highway are probably familiar to you, but did you know that you can get a much closer look at them? You can rent a set of binoculars and take refuge in one of the three wooden birding hides in the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary close to the water. The huts are open from 9 am to 4 pm, Saturday through Thursday, and admission is free. It's a fantastic, cost-free activity to perform with kids.
8. Free walking tour of Dubai
Tumblr media
You shouldn't refuse a free walking tour even if you live in Dubai because you never know what fresh things you might discover. This may also be the solution if you have friends or family coming and are feeling a little lethargic. For groups of two to twenty individuals at a time, AiroTour provides free walking tours throughout the city. AiroTour does not charge for the tour, however, if you feel your guide did a good job, please consider leaving a tip.
9. Take a tour of Bur Dubai Grand Mosque
Tumblr media
If you don't want to drive yourself or your guests all the way to Abu Dhabi to see the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which is still spectacular, go to Bur Dubai. One of Dubai's oldest and, some would argue, most authentic neighborhoods offers a free tour of the Grand Mosque. The guides are employed by the Islamic Information Center and are fully informed about both Islam and the mosque. There are many activities besides the mosque, including the textile souk and the Dubai Museum.
10. Go cycling in the desert
Tumblr media
Cycling at Al Qudra's 50km of track is one of the top free things to do in Dubai and something you should cross off your bucket list if you can get your hands on a road bike and helmet (you can rent from Trek Dubai). The crimson desert, the occasional camel, and even an oryx provide stunning scenery, especially at dusk. The very best? It's unpaid. You’ll require an emirates visa for Egypt passport holders if you want to enjoy cycling in the desert.

Money or Democracy. How the war in Ukraine affects world tourism
Tumblr media

Turkey will feel most of all the decline in tourism against the backdrop of Russian aggression, experts predict
The global tourism industry is already feeling the effects of the war in Ukraine. The sudden drop in the number of Russians and Ukrainians traveling abroad since the Russian invasion has taken a huge toll on the industry's post-COVID recovery.  https://medium.com/@com548510/money-or-democracy-how-the-war-in-ukraine-affects-world-tourism-4e5fe8dd42f0
Airlines plan flights around Russia in a new way, and sanctions do not allow Russians to pay abroad with cards of world-famous systems.
In popular tourist countries, they estimate what the decline in tourism will be like against the backdrop of Russian aggression. Meanwhile, Ukraine and the world community are calling for breaking cooperation with Russia, including in the field of tourism.
TRAVEL RBC-Ukraine , citing Arab News , tells how the war unleashed against Ukraine affects the global travel industry.
Blocked cards and rising prices: what is happening with tourism in Russia
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Western countries banned Russian passenger aircraft from flying into their airspace, and the entire Russian tourism industry has undergone dramatic changes, the newspaper writes.
Western sanctions have drastically reduced the list of places where Russians can travel abroad, effectively isolating the country from the world. Local travel agencies used to help clients book luxury trips around the world. Now they are forced to look for locations, the list of which is only shrinking.
“Now we can only fly to 15 countries, mostly to the countries of the former USSR. Also to Iran, Israel, Turkey, Vietnam, Zanzibar, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Thailand with some Russian airlines. Many people just go anywhere with a one-way ticket and in cash, for example, to Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, the United Arab Emirates," Vladimir Inyakin, the owner of one of the Russian travel agencies, tells the publication.
Aviation fuel prices rose sharply after Western sanctions hit the Russian economy. This has also led to higher airfare prices. Now tickets for direct flights from Moscow to Dubai in both directions cost from $609 on flydubai, $1359 on Emirates and $810 on Turkish Airlines. This is several hundred dollars higher than it was before February 24th.

Before the war, according to Inyakin, "Aeroflot could fly back and forth from Moscow to Dubai for 300-350 dollars." However, now Aeroflot has stopped all flights, except for flights to Minsk.
"Right now, inflation and the exchange rate - the dollar against the Russian ruble - is extremely high," a Russian citizen living in the Persian Gulf told Arab News on condition of anonymity.
The SWIFT international banking system, which unites more than 11,000 financial institutions around the world, suspended services to seven Russian banks at the end of February due to the war in Ukraine. This caused damage to the financial system of the Russian Federation and limited its opportunities for international trade. In practice, this has made it almost impossible for Russians to use credit cards and bank accounts abroad.
“The main problem is that if you are a Russian citizen and live in the country, you can’t easily book flights or hotels, since Visa and Mastercard are no longer supported in Russia. Few countries accept the Russian national payment system Mir,” a resident of the Persian Gulf told the publication.
According to the publication, Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey, Egypt and Cyprus are the most affected by the reduction in tourist flows from the Russian Federation.
Before the war, Ukrainians actively traveled
Before the war, Ukrainians were avid travelers, writes Arab News. But now that millions of them have become refugees due to the war, their spending on tourism has all but disappeared from the tourism market.

"We Ukrainians love to travel. But we don't think about tourism at all now," Maria, a Ukrainian from Odessa who now lives in Dubai, told Arab News.
Ukraine, with its historical cities, picturesque countryside and beautiful sea coast, has also been a popular tourist destination. However, now the airspace of Ukraine is closed to passenger aircraft, and cities and infrastructure have been destroyed.
“I never thought in my life that I would hear air raid sirens via video link in my city,” Maria said.
Already this season. Turkey's industry will be hit the hardest
Strongest of all, according to the publication, the loss of Ukrainian visitors this season will be felt by Turkey. Before the pandemic, tourism accounted for 10% of the country's GDP. In 2021, after the lifting of travel restrictions, about 4.7 million Russians and 2.1 million Ukrainians visited the country: a quarter of all 24.7 million foreign visitors for the entire year.
While Turkey did not impose sanctions on Russia or close airspace to Russian airlines, the invasion of Ukraine dashed the industry's hopes for recovery. Forecasts for tourism income for this year have also been significantly reduced by Vietnam.
According to a survey conducted by the National Tourism Administration of Vietnam in 2019, Russians spend an average of $1,600 per stay in the country. Other foreigners - an average of 900. In recent years, many travel agencies have been opened here, focused purely on Russians. But on March 23 this year, in response to the war, Vietnamese airlines suspended flights to and from Russia.

A new challenge for the global economy
"The war in Ukraine creates new challenges for the global economic environment and could undermine the restoration of confidence in global travel," the United Nations World Tourism Organization said in a March 31 statement.
Russia and Ukraine together accounted for 3% of global international tourism spending in 2020. If the war continues, at least $14 billion of global tourism revenue could be lost, the organization predicts. On the other hand, experts say that this is not such a huge percentage to provoke a real disaster in the tourism sector.
Italy is one of the countries popular with tourists, which, together with the EU, has joined the sanctions against Russia. A report by the British The Guardian says that Russians are hardly in the top 20 countries in terms of the number of visitors to Italy. But in terms of time spent in the country, they are in ninth place, and in terms of the amount of money that they brought into the country, they are second after Germany.
Russians actively bought real estate in Italy, and in some regions whole towns appeared - "branches of the Russian world": settlements where most of the villas and houses belong to citizens of the Russian Federation. The sale of luxury villas to Russians is a significant part of the income of Italians: companies focused on citizens from the occupying country were previously opened here, RBC-Ukraine wrote earlier. Now, apparently, many of them will close.
"Sponsors of the War". Choosing Money or Democracy
Meanwhile, more and more calls are being made to countries to avoid any cooperation with the Russian Federation. Countries that depend on tourism need to choose either blood money or a conscious choice in favor of democracy, say the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine.
"The aggressor should feel the contempt of the whole world, and the Russians, who massively support the aggression against our country by word and tax, deserve flights exclusively on the Moscow-Magadan route with a short stop in Vorkuta," the department says.
The GART analyzed how world tourism actually supports Ukraine and who still "does not disdain to earn bloody Russian money and sponsor the war."

The list of countries that "maintain neutrality" or do not condemn the occupier at all is quite long. Now there are more than 70 of them. This list includes:
Croatia;
Sri Lanka;
Seychelles;
Montenegro;
Morocco;
Qatar;
Saudi Arabia;
UAE and many others.
Meanwhile, it is not clear how long the war in Ukraine will continue, Arab News writes. The front line has shifted to the east and south of the country, and there are still few signs of a return to normal life in the near future.
Recall that the war in Ukraine did not stop Egypt from receiving Russian tourists.
Turkey will also host Russian tourists this summer.
