I'm so late for this fandom, but I just finished SSSS and it was so. fricking. good. I binged the whole thing in 4 days, haha.

I seriously can't pick a favourite out of the main cast so I'm just gonna draw them all. Decided to start with Emil because Mr. Sparkly Hair just has to go first.

Apologies for the bad quality, my phone camera is doing its best, desperately. I put my tag upside down too, but I'm too lazy to fix it. I hope I'll have time to redo this digitally later.

The dates are skewed but I literally have no idea how to do them better, Prague Race ran from 2008 to 2018/19, then went on hiatus and the website was taken down in 2021. Emil's first concept sketches are from 2011 and 2012 but Minna drew a similar looking character even earlier. Anyway, Emil's first appearance in the comic was in 2014 so I chose this date. Lastly, another similarity they share: their comics ended in unusual circumstances. Prace was cancelled and taken down and SSSS cut short and got got a bland, rushed ending due to the author's conversion to christianity. bleh

Second one done! I personally think he is the true Mr Sparkly Hair of the group (sorry Emil), I loooove the floof. I feel bad because I kept forgetting his name and calling him Ragnar throughout the comic... That one beautiful scene in the comic with Reynir sitting in the boat at the waterfall in his dream is engraved into my memory. He is a Disney princess trapped in a Scandinavian Resident Evil.

Emil looks so tiny next to him, haha.
