Headcanon - Random Notes (some lewd)

Started out writing down notes to myself on what Cam thinks of the fact *so many arcanic/ghost/whatever entities* can just show up and watch him sleep whenever they feel like it; segued inevitably onto notes on Cam’s sex life.

And Cid’s and Nero’s. Honestly, half of this will end up in Nero’s entry when I finally write it up. Cid/WoL/Nero OT3. 

Spoilers for ShB, also just lewd silliness, including BDSM. Nothing explicit or graphic, though! I’m generally a PG-13 kind of writer; R at the very most.

Cam has absolutely woken up to find Emet-Selch watching him sleep--and looking as bored as he always does. Cam’s so used to having people watch him sleep--Ardbert, Feo Ul, Midgardsomr, Shanoa, etc., etc.--that he’d just throw a pillow at him or throw him the Eorzean equivalent of the bird and go back to sleep and/or get up and attempt to shove the Ascian out of the room/window/off any nearby cliffs or into any nearby thorny underbrush before going about getting ready for the day.

Cam never sleeps naked. Way too many people have the ability to just show up wherever he happens to be and watch him sleep. (Cid finds this tendency of arcanic entities to just suddenly *be there* in the bedroom/kitchen/bathroom/whatever a lot more disturbing than Cam does. Cam’s just like, “Tell them to fuck off and/or ignore them, I don’t know why they don’t all have better things to do.”)

Feo Ul has *absolutely* shown up while Cam and Cid were having sex. So has Midgardsomr. The commentary they offered was very different. Shanoa and Mochi (I headcanon the black coeurl kitten minion as Shanoa, and have lore for Cam’s Fat/Fatter Cat being an arcanic entity) both have to be forcibly shut out of the room, and will still occasionally and inconveniently just appear suddenly in the middle of the bed.

So far, Nero has *not* shown up while Cam and Cid were having sex, though he’ll certainly stop to watch and make snide comments and offer suggestions if they ever kiss or flirt anywhere he happens to be. And he *has* walked in when they were clearly about to start something and been very “hey, don’t mind me, I’ve seen at least half of all of this before” and then showed no signs of leaving.

Cid is ace-adjacent/demisexual. He’s prone to forgetting sex is even a thing, though he’ll respond when Cam reminds him. Cam and Cid don’t exactly have a wild sex life, but that’s fine by both of them. When you’ve already got the whole world(s) following your performance and pressuring you to give more than 100% all of the time in all other areas of your life, *not* having that in the bedroom (at least not with your primary partner) is actually a relief to Cam.

Cam has had sex with Nero, and they continue to occasionally get together even after Cam and Cid are married. Cid’s aware of this and has no problem with it. It helps get Nero off his back (literally, if Nero had his way), and, contrary to what you might expect, it actually seems to be good for all of them. Nero just wants *someone* to dom him, ffs. And it looks like it’s never going to be Cid, so the Warrior of Light will do as the next best thing. Cam’s actually quite competent--though obviously very *quiet*--as a dom. And, hey, he grew up in Limsa Lominsa around a lot of fishermen/women; he’s pretty good with knots. Unsurprisingly, Nero is a very mouthy sub, though he’s also remarkably creative and quite a bit of fun. 

Nero is also 100% the kind of sub who *will* try to get out of any ropes/gags/anything else and then try to get them on Cam--and if he succeeds, immediately go “wait, now what, this isn’t half as much fun.” Despite being very loudly interested in performing scientific tests (on his aether density, his memories/brain functions since Ardbert Rejoined with him, the sin eater mutation in his throat, trying to figure out whether he’s Tempered, etc.) on Cam when he’s around Cam in public, he’s not pulled anything like that in the bedroom. He would never admit it, but Nero absolutely knows where the boundaries are--and that if he crosses them, he’s not just out of Cid and Cam’s lives, he’s likely out of Eorzea altogether.

Nero *has,* though, left Cam handcuffed to pipes/machinery/desks/whatever in the Ironworks. But only in places/times where he’s absolutely certain the only person who’ll find Cam is Cid. This just makes Cam roll his eyes. And Cid go “You kill gods regularly, don’t tell me you couldn’t get out of that if you wanted to.” (Cam could.)

Nero has also never pressed for a threesome--in large part because he’s afraid Cid would turn out to not be very good in bed (by Nero’s standards) and that the experience would confirm that Cid is not attracted to Nero at all. Nero would rather not have these suspicions confirmed.

Here is my piece for a little Fire Emblem x Final Fantasy XIV zine called Heart Of Ember! For no reason in particular here is Arvis and Emet Selch having a slapfight.

In this fandom I’ve seen a lot of hate for avatar characters, but in persona, smt, KOTOR, and ffxiv people love their silent self inserts (hell, many of them are practically gods themselves; the warrior of light from ffxiv is essentially an amnesiac god who helped maintain the creation and balance of the universe), and i’ve seen avatar hate even from people who slobber all over avatar/character ships in persona and final fantasy (wol/character are the most popular ships, wol is the most popular character to fans, and i’ve seen so many ship wars happen over the persona 4-5 protagonists plus a zine embezzlement scandal with the latter). I’m not looking to castigate anyone or whatever since i only know fire emblem in a peripheral sense, i just think it’s funny how different it is. Well, one thing I WILL say is that the white haired girl wishes she was written as well as emet-selch (imperialism on steroids and carried out by a god)

i haven't played any of the other games so im not in the fandoms or anything, i'll take your word for it lol. interesting that even people who generally like self-inserts would dislike the avatars from fire emblem though, or at least the ones that have more self-insert qualities bc not all of them are written the same way. i wonder what it is that makes femblem avatars specifically unappealing even to those types of players. still i think in fire emblem most of the avatar hate is reserved for two or three characters, at least from what i've seen. by/leth three houses both has fans and people who really dislike them and i think the same goes for corrin from fates fame. you could count shez from warriors among them too though again i think their reception among the player base is pretty mixed. if there's a lot of hate for other femblem avatars it's not super blatant in the parts of the fandom where i generally hang out

A year ago, I made a post talking about everything I’d written in 2019. It felt really nice to see a list of all the things I’d written and/or published during the year and to see a final word count. So here I am, doing it again.

One-shots (South Park):

Clyde and Kenny Sitting in a Tree - Clyde/Kenny - Rated T - While on a school camping trip, Clyde and Kenny go off on a separate path from the group during a hike. Eventually they get lost, the sun sets, and they climb a tree to escape a potential predatory. Once they're stuck in the tree and fearing for their safety, secrets get confessed, and...well, you know how the nursery rhyme goes.

Is This What a Committed Relationship Looks Like? - Tweek/Craig, Clyde/Kenny - Rated E - Tweek and Craig ask Clyde to film Tweek as he skateboards a dildo into Craig’s ass. It is as ridiculous as it sounds. With art from @dusksmote!!

The Twelve Dates of Christmas - Tweek/Craig - Rated E - Craig Tucker is a grad student who recently got out of a long term relationship. His best friend wants to help him get back out into the dating game, so he signs him up for a Christmas themed dating app called The Twelve Dates of Christmas. Will one of his many dates sweep him off his feet, or will Tweek, the cute, flirty coffee shop owner, win him over first?

Mysterion and Human Kite Save Christmas - Rated T - Kenny/Kyle - After organizing a holiday toy drive together, superhero husbands Kenny and Kyle discover that all of the toys have been stolen by some mysterious new villain called Krampus. Together, they suit up as Mysterion and Human Kite to track down the villain, defeat him, and save Christmas for the children of South Park.

Something to Fill the Hole in Your Heart - Hazbin Hotel - Angel Dust & Charlie - Rated M - Angel has a bad day at work and comes home with a headache and an extremely sore jaw. Charlie knows something is wrong and brings him his favorite soup. Inspired by the Addict MV because I just want Angel to be happy.

Promise Me - Final Fantasy 14 - Emet-Selch/WoL - Rated M - While heading toward the Tempest, some unseen force is telling her to find him. When she does, all of the memories of their past life together come flooding back. Despite them both knowing that they aren't meant to be, they share a final moment together before Emet-Selch asks her to promise to never forget him again.

I only wrote one fic for a zine, and while I haven’t published it on AO3 yet (sometime after the new year I’ll post it), it is available to read right now in the free zine Amaretto: A Cryle Fanzine.

Here - Craig/Kyle - rated T - 7301 words - Craig and Kyle are both at a frat party they don’t want to be at, and their nights suck individually until they end up stuck together on a couch, where they bond over their mutual hatred for frats and parties.

Like last year, I’m not counting WIPs in my total word count for 2020, but I started writing a Tweek/Craig one-shot called “Law and Order: Horny Crimes Unit” and a Hazbin Hotel Radiodust one-shot called “Sir’s Tea”. Will they ever get finished in 2021? I suppose we’ll have to just wait and see. ^^()

“Audite Mearum”

This was a piece done for an Amaurotine Zine (https://twitter.com/amaurotine_zine) earlier in the year to raise money for wildfire relief in Australia!   This is a romanticized version of Amaurot with some of the more art deco buildings in the back giving way to gentler designs.   Emet-Selch and a pre-Convocation WoL create together. He is building a new smaller residential building while the WoL is embellishing the glass and the green space with flowers and trees :)

This was hard to do since I was still transitioning off clip studio from Painter, but I took my time with many brushes (some premade and some not) in order to put a lot of attention on creating depth.   

I also spent a lot of time looking at art deco architecture and posters from the early 1900s. It was fun :)
