The day we have been terrified of has arrived- our shelter has been officially marked for demolition and our new location is NOT READY. We have over 65 animals under our care with NOWHERE TO GO. We are reaching out for emergency fosters and/or a temporary building but our only option may be boarding a large number of animals until temporary shelter is built at the new site. The cost is roughly $20 per animal per day. At the same time, we need to URGENTLY push construction at the new site which will also cost additional funds BUT the new site could be ready to house our animals in a matter of weeks. The volunteers of Animal Action Guangzhou have put their hearts and souls into saving and caring for these precious souls saved from Yulin dog meat festival and slaughterhouses and without a temporary home they will be confiscated and killed in Chinese police pounds.
