One of my best memories: The Trip to Krung Thep.
I still remember the city life at Bangkok, the clean and posh lifestyle, the polite and happy natives, not to mention the times I sat and stared out of the glass window of the hotel I stayed at, to look at the lights and the tall and breathtaking skyscrapers at night. It was different. It was magical. I can still see it like a film in my head.
I remember the Chao Phraya river, how we had to sail across to visit the beautiful, eternal, sculpted monuments, the King’s Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It was peaceful.
Even while I write this, I realize, Thailand made me feel everything- happy, peaceful, blessed, excited, thrilled, grateful, and everything good a person can possibly feel. Action, peace, city life, country life, beach, forest, river, you name it. It is all there in Thailand. Anywhere you may visit in life, from my side, I would always recommend Thailand. It is the best of all the places I visited.

The Emerald Buddha is considered the Sacred Image of the Kingdom of Thailand. The Emerald Buddha is a statue of the Meditating Buddha seated in Yogic posture and is adorned with three different sets of gold seasonal costume; one for the summer, one for the rainy season, and a third for the winter or cool season. These charming Buddha "Three Seasons" Jeweled Amulets are made of fine cast brass and set with fine, colorful glass crystals. #buddha #emeraldbuddha #threeseasonsbuddha #buddhaamulet #amulet #rhinestones #rhinestoneamulet #thailand #thaibuddha #meditatingbuddha #meditate #peace #beautiful #gift #decorate #shop #nyc #unionsquare #beadsofparadise (at Beads of Paradise NYC)

I also visited The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The palace is a master piece; it’s such a beautiful place. The temple is so beautiful and peaceful; it has a green Buddha carved from one single piece of green jade that tops the altar and adorned in beautiful shiny gold, hence its name of Emerald Buddha. Temple of the Reclining Buddha. All these years, my time in Bangkok has revolved around its many shopping malls in the day, and the night crawl of the various pubs and bars. However, when I went back to the city a year and a half ago, things were going to be different this time. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and discover a bit more of this buzzing city. Like its many attractions that one would normally give a miss. And am glad it turned out  that way. On the banks of the Chao Phraya River lies Wat Pho. Also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, it is Bangkok's oldest and largest wats. One of the largest temple complexes in the city, it is famed for its giant reclining Buddha measuring 46 metres long and covered in gold leaf. Built in 1848, it remains the largest Buddha anywhere in Thailand. It shows the Buddha entering nirvana and the end of all his reincarnations. His posture is referred to as sihasaiyas, the posture of a sleeping or reclining lion. The soles of Buddha’s feet, measuring 3 meters high and nearly 5 meters long, are inlaid with 108 mother-of-pearls. They are meant to represent 108 auspicious characters of the Buddha. Around the corridor, you will also spot 108 bronze bowls. Dropping coins in these bowls is meant to bring good fortune to  you. However, the reclining Buddha shouldn't be your only highlight. Take time to go around the ground and you will be rewarded with other treasures too. How about you, have you discovered another side to Bangkok? ________________________________________ @nofixedaddrs #nofixedaddrs www.nofixedaddress.in _________________________________________ Amazing Thailand 🇹🇭 #amazingthailand @tourismthailand _________________________________________ ………. ……... …….. ……. …… ….. …. … .. . #bangkok #thailand #watphrakaew #temple #architecture #bangkokthailand #thai #buddha #gold #emeraldbuddha #watpho #watphotemple #watarun #watphobangkok #bangkoktrip #recliningbuddha #buddhisttemple #ilovebangkok #Explorethailand #Reviewthailand #thailandtravel #thailandvision #adayinthailand #thailandtravels #travelthailand #thailandinstagram #visitthailand #unseenthailand (at Wat Pho, Temple of the Reclining Buddha) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEtGZ2ls1bq/?igshid=e4aggwgdiva0

It’s burning up 🥵 HOT in Thailand, in the high 80’s. So you ask Why the Dress code for the Grand Palace? The temples in Thailand expect visitors to wear polite outfits as a gesture of respect to its sacred places and to appreciate the sentiments of the Thai people. Also, the dress code for Grand Place is imperative because the Grand Palace and its grounds are used by the Royal Family on ceremonial occasions. One such occasion is the changing of clothes of the sacred Buddha. This takes place three times in a year at the Grand Palace Bangkok in the presence of the Royal Family. So, it is important to be sure about the rules regarding the dress code for Grand Palace. Dress Code for Grand Place You surely don’t want your mesmerizing trip to the Grand Palace Bangkok interrupted because of inappropriate dress code. Grand Place Thailand dress code is strictly enforced for visiting men and women likewise. Avoid wearing: Shorts, mini-skirts, short skirts, tight fitting trousers, tights, leggings (anything that exposes the ankles). Quarter length trousers No clothing with holes (for instance ripped jeans ) See-through shirts and blouses. Low-cut clothing Sleeveless shirts or vests. Only shirts or tops to cover your shoulders. Bare chest in men. All shirtsleeves that are rolled up. Sweat shirts, sweat pants, windcheaters, pyjamas and fisherman trousers. Mid-riff showing or backless clothing. . . #TheGrandPalace #EmeraldBuddha #Temples #Buddha #Thailand #Bangkok #Vacation #Holiday #PassportReady #Culture #International #Travels #Jewels #History #FarrahsTravels #Memories #Namaste #Thankful 🙏🏽 #BucketList ✔️ #PositiveLife #WeLiveToExplore 🌎 #TravelWithSparkle ✨#PhotoOfTheDay #BeautifulDestinations #LivingMyBestLife 🙌🏽 #TeamFarrah 💋 #Melanin #BlackTravelFeed #BlackTravel #BlackTravelJourney ✈️ www.TravelWithSparkle.com (at Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha) https://www.instagram.com/p/BthOC3fgUp0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=aovs94b0f98g
