My whole life I have wondered this question. A lot of it I think depends on your life path that you choose before you’re born. Of course, it depends on your choices but some souls choose a path and will do what ever it takes to get back on it.

I have had horrible experiences my entire life. Almost everything I go through ends up badly. For example, I got into my dream college 3 years ago with a really good scholarship. Once I got there, things made it to the point where the universe literally kicked me out of the college. All of my relationships failed (friendship & love) and I got extremely sick and had to leave. Apparently that wasn’t the correct path I needed to be on.

Also, every relationship starts off extremely well. No fights, no arguments or even negative energy yet guys disappear from my life. Almost as if the universe doesn’t want me to be with those peole & it’s saving something better for me.

I’ve met many different soulmates, karmic and fake twin flame relationships throughout my life. None of them felt “right” they were all in my life to get me on a certain path at which this point I am still trying to figure out.

Do I believe that there is someone that was meant only for you? Yes. Are we all lucky enough to find that person? Unfortunately no. At this point I don’t even know if this ‘person’ would be considered a twin flame.

My suggestions are to just learn to love. Embrace it as much as you can, the good, bad & ugly. Over time you will find your path and who you’re meant to be with. Some people aren’t meant to be with anybody in their lifetime and that’s okay too.

Do you believe that there is someone out there that is the only one for you and destined to be with you?

To an extent! I dont believe in “the only one for you” because that sounds very...possessive to me (lmao that’s something coming from a Scorpio) and puts too much pressure on our partners. It’s also to assume that we arent a whole person because we’re in search of our “other half”. And honestly that just puts a bad taste in my mouth lol. Even with that assumption, we still have to remember that we’re all just human. You cant expect someone to make you whole when they arent even whole themselves. That’s asking a lot from them. 

 I feel that there are many soulmates in our lives, platonic and romantic, that play vital roles as we grow into ourselves. People are constantly learning, changing, growing...We make our own lives by the choices that we make and the people we allow ourselves to be surrounded by. Whether the choices we make come from love, fear, regret, happiness, laziness, so on and so forth... ultimately creates our life and who we are as a whole. 

To assume that only one person was made for us and that our entire lives leads up to spending eternity with them is to assume that we have no control over our lives and “free will” is a bunch of mumbo-jumbo because our “destiny” was pre-chosen for us. It would mean that we shouldnt live our lives because “No worries! My soulmate is going to plop down on my lap any second now to fix everything!” It’s just totally unrealistic. Also, that would just be too easy and when have you ever known life to be easy? lol 

But I do believe, that as we make our choices our destiny shifts and our paths put people in our lives that it knows we will learn from according to the choices that we make (good, bad, and even the ugly.) and its up to our better judgement if that person hinders or helps our growth.  

A lot of people have this mentality that “soulmates” means “happily ever after” and that can be so harmful because that is definitely not the case!  Some soulmates that you meet are brought to you to give you some heartbreaking lessons so that we may appreciate the right people when they come along. And as you can imagine, there are quite a bit of people in the world still learning that lesson...

Love, well, it's like trying to describe a color to someone who's never seen it. It's this intricate blend of emotions, a kaleidoscope of feelings that swirl in the depths of my heart. To me, love is like catching the scent of blooming flowers on a warm spring day – you can't see it, but you know it's there, wrapping you in its gentle embrace.

It's the quiet understanding that blooms between shared glances, the unspoken words that dance in the pauses of conversation. Love isn't always grand gestures and sweeping declarations; sometimes, it's found in the simplicity of a shared smile or the warmth of a comforting silence.

It's like finding a favorite song that resonates with your soul – it touches something deep within you, and suddenly, the world makes a little more sense. Love, for me, is a melody that plays softly in the background of everyday life, a soundtrack that adds depth and meaning to the mundane.
