Britpop. One of the most iconic genres in history. It may be dead but it’s not forgotten. Here’s a timeline (from my opinion) of the genre from start to finish:

Britpop (October 1st, 1990 - January 1st, 2004)

Before Britpop: February 20th, 1984 - May 27th, 1990

Beginning of Britpop: October 1st, 1990 - May 11th, 1992

Rise of Britpop: March 29th, 1993 - May 15th, 1995

Peak of Britpop: August 14th, 1995 - August 11th, 1996

Fall of Britpop: February 10th, 1997 - June 8th, 1998

Post-Britpop: March 8th, 1999 - August 6th, 2001

Death of Britpop: February 1st, 2002 - January 1st, 2004

all in all odysseus is a terrible ship captain but a great friend. that's what makes him good protagonist material.

The key difference between Odysseus and Eurylochus is that Eurylochus is a better ship captain. He understands the wants and needs of the crew and puts them ahead of his own (TO HIS DETRIMENT) and he makes his whole purpose for the crew. If the crew wants trust, go to Eurylochus.

Odysseus is a good skill guy. He can navigate the seas and use clever solutions to get home because he wants to get home as soon as possible. He, however, is not doing it for his crew OR kingdom: he's doing it for his family.

That is why he survives. He can become as ruthless as he needs to be to get to his goals. It's also why he loses support, but he doesn't care. He is willing to use his monster, no matter what it takes.

All these men have their monsters. Eurylochus betrays for his crew, Odysseus kills and saves for the family he has left, Circe turns threats inhuman and Polites lives in defiance of his. Gods don't care about their monsters, not really. Odysseus does care (the point of the entire saga) but he'll become his monster readily when he must. That's what survival is.

playing around with @warmhealerr's new dye mod. Some really good choices in here for Skaro. Dye Laughing is the closest to his other colorway that I enjoy, and probably my favorite of the set for him, but I also love the few that turn the gem at his throat a nice golden yellow.

Crocodile's Tears might be my favorite of those two. (World Wide on the right below, they're very similar but just different enough to be fun)

I feel like I could build a story with the palette dyes - crocodile tears (L) for his younger years, dye laughing for the current venture, and world wide for a post-game coloration.

Bonus, just because I thought the dark copper coloration in Tiger's Eye works really well for the coins

Ta'rath's deep reds are also REALLY NICE. And I enjoyed the rich tones in a lot of the other dyes, even if I couldn't find an outfit to apply them to for him. Lovely mod, Barnabas!

Both reflected on the water like something magic, freeing and ethereal.

Both came for a rebirth in me.

i think part of the reason why im not really scared of death is just the fact that ive been certain that im going to die any day for like years now to the point that its just normal to me

i dont even know why its always been a certainty, but like for my entire life ive always just been like "yeah ill probably just drop dead tomorow. that ache in my leg is probably some horrible disease that will kill me tonight. that person on the street will probably try and murder me. that tiny bump is probably some new undiscovered kind of cancer. ill probably just crash on this drive and die instantly". its just always been there. its one of those things i cant even think of a solid explanation or reason for how i ended up like this. I just feel like i was meant to die, and now im just overdue. nothing to be scared of, just confused why it hasnt come yet
