#Repost @elysiumshealing ・・・ So excited I recieved La Madama Yesterday evening...This morning I properly welcomed her and made my offerings to all of the ancestors she embodies. I feel so at peace with her here. #Repost @elysiumshealing ・・・ So some of you have been asking for things or traditions I do during Yule/Christmas..well I have year round ornaments, talismans, trinkets etc. I like to redo the wrappings or additives during this time of year. To welcome the birth of the new sun and welcome the energies I wish to hone in on for the New Year. . Sometimes it is as simple as redoing the color braids on a magnolia cone. (You can purchase these cones and find out more about them at @conjuredcardea her site link in her bio) Once I pick the colors and proper color tones of what I want to work with. I bless them with my preferred method. Then focus and pray over them as I braid. I usually do smaller braids then combine them into one giant braided rope. Once this is done I redress said object...bless it and rehang or place. . Now many will say what do you bless with...why those colors..etc? I will not give specifics as I believe every practitioner has their own unique path and their own unique way of learning. I simply like to help with ideas and you make it your own. Remember you must do the studious learning and citing of things on your own...that's half the fun and pride. However some ideas can be anything from palosanto,incense, herbs, hoyts cologne, florida water, holy water etc. . You can do this anytime...I like to begin my Yule crafts about 5 or so days before it hits, so the day of the 21st I can begin lighting my candles and relax in the glow of the season. "Just my preferred ways." . Remember there are many ways to practice your spirituality and barring basic safety precautions and respect for others...there are no right or wrong ways to practice. .
