Find out the best places to stay in Paris
Tumblr media
Introduction
This year's 2024 Olympics made Paris a global spotlight in the whole world. But did you know that there are a lot of other attractions like the palace of Versailles to the famous river, and Paris itself being the city of lovers, it has many things to cater the needs of everyone. The city is always alive with the bright light of the Eiffel Tower, great food and has a great history.
All these things make Paris one of the most popular destinations where sometimes you feel like staying for a long time. But finding the best places to stay in Paris whether it's suited for family, couples or solo travelers can be a daunting task. So get your France Visa and pack your bags as you will feel like leaving for Paris after reading the post.
Hence today in this pose we will be discussing the best places to stay in Paris.
How to travel around in Paris
Paris has a lot of transport options to navigate around. There are more than 300 railway stations with 16 best metro lines. You can even use the trams and buses to go around the city. Although most of the people prefer walking on the cobblestone streets. Remember that only a few of the Paris metro stations are accessible due to their location. If you are traveling with children or a large family it would be best to take the advantage of bus or tram.
Best location to stay in Paris for families
It is estimated that around 30 million tourists come to visit Paris along with their families. If you are planning to be one of them then make sure to plan out your transportation options and the itinerary. For example it will be easier to take the RER A train from Central Paris to the Chatelet station to reach Disneyland.
Hence we would recommend the 8th arrondissement area for families as you will be right at the center of the city having the main attraction in the walking distance. The streets are large enough to take your kids on a stroller. If you want to take a mid day nap, there are plenty of rooms available.
You can choose either Hotel Park Lane Paris or Hotel Litteraire le Swann. Both the places offer a family friendly and child friendly services in the area of 8th arrondissement, thus best places to stay in Paris.
Best places to stay in Paris for couples
Everybody knows that Paris is the city of Lovers. If you are up for a birthday, honeymoon or anniversary celebration , there are around a thousand hotels which can capture the city’s romantic nature. There is a small town with bars and restaurants on the cobbled streets called Montmartre. It even has its own vineyard and a perfect place for couples to relax together.
You can even choose Le Relais Montmartre which is right next to Moulin Rouge. A fine place for couples to walk and immerse in the streets and to increase the feeling of love. If you are looking for a long stay , you can choose the Montmartre Residence.
And lastly you can book a dinner on cruise on the Seine, or on the Eiffel tower or on the observation deck at Montparnasse Tower, thus confirming the best places to stay in Paris.
Best places to stay in Paris for solo travelers
Traveling alone? Don't worry in Paris you will never feel alone. The city is full of museums, theaters and restaurants which mean there is always some activity to perform. But it’s very expensive to stay in Parin being a solo traveler.
In this case hostel rooms can be preferred instead of hotels. However if you have a bigger budget and you are old , then the Saint-Germain-des-Pres area is the nicest part of Paris. You will absolutely move away from the rush of the city with its small cafes and beautiful buildings. The famous attraction The Arc de Triomphe is near to this place.
Then we have Hotel Artus which is also walking distance from the main attractions such as the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Champs Elysees. You can even choose Hotel Apolonia Pairs Montmartre which is one of the best places to stay in Paris.

un — THE CHARACTER
NAME: Leniana Reis
AGE: Thirty
BIRTHDAY: April 14th, 1991
GENDER/PRONOUNS: Cis female, she/her
OCCUPATION: Owner of Le Comptoir Bar
BIRTHPLACE: Manhattan, New York
ARRONDISSEMENT: Élysée ( 8th )
LENGTH OF TIME IN PARIS: Two and a half years
deux —  THEIR STORY
Trigger Warnings: money laundering, partying
Growing up first generation American in Manhattan, New York had been incredibly challenging for Lena Reis. She was the youngest and only daughter to ambitious entrepreneur immigrants who took the opportunities their move from Ankara, Turkey presented them. Arriving with money in their pockets helped, and so did the experience of their success back home. With a clear vision, Lena’s father wanted to expand upon the small hotel chain he owned throughout Turkey. He had big dollar signs in his eyes and even bigger dreams and plans in his head wanting to put a Magnolia Hotel in the major cities of America, with the first being in the city that Lena was born.
The wealth and the status meant that Lena was put into the best private schools, sitting amongst New York’s elite and most prominent. Academically, Lena was capable of holding her own. She not only had the intellect, she also possessed the discipline. In the Reis home, the dynamic was very strict and structured. For her and her older brothers, only the best was expected and if things weren’t perfect then they were forced to keep trying until they came as close to the ideal as possible. While her father built a four to five star hotel in the illustrious Manhattan, Lena’s day was planned out by the minute. From school to extra circulars and sports, she was a dancer, she had no real time to be a kid.
When she reached her teens and began to rebel against the structure a little the threat of boarding school loomed. For Lena it was a punishment that worked because she loved what New York had to offer. She was desperate to explore outside of the boundaries her parents had put on her and see what the life was really like there. The heavy rule in her house created a very crafty and calculated teenager in Lena. She knew how to build a lie and get around the rules that had been set, all in order to go deeper into the city and parts her parents forbade to get up to things with her friends. They went to clubs, parties, ventured beyond the city to catch shows and mingle with artists — something that on the surface just looked like teens having fun but really it went deeper than that. They were looking for life.
It wasn’t until Lena was in university and out of her parents home that she actually did things like dating. Albeit she was attending the university of their choice, Columbia, there was a sense of freedom that she hadn’t felt before. Lena studied business and language as she was expected to be apart of the family business once she graduated, but her real dream was to open up her own club one day. While she was sure the business side of it wasn’t all fun and games, Lena wanted to offer others the escape from life that nightclubs had given her. Even if it were just for a few hours a night, getting lost in the music and dancing.
Towards the tail end of her university degree, Lena had found herself in a serious, committed relationship with someone that was an opposite of her. He was rough around the edges, came from a different class, but none of it mattered to her. She had fallen in love and with a guy that her father would never approve of and Lena went along with the wild ride for as long as she could. It wasn’t until a prison sentence that sent her boyfriend away that Lena saw the future she had in her heart go up in flames. With her head and heart a mess, Lena did the worst thing she could do and that was to runaway. He went off to carry out a sentence behind bars and it spooked her, leaving her to breakup and then run off to California and fall back in line with her father.
At the time, a Magnolia piece was being built in Los Angeles, and her father and brothers were looking at locations across the world in Europe, specifically Paris. Even though Lena had reluctantly come back into the family fold, she was still punished for wanting to do her own thing and be her own person. She was given a position and title within the company but it was really only for appearances sake. For she was apart of none of the decision making or even seated at most of the meetings. It went on that way for two years before she came across something that changed the dynamics between her father and herself forever. Lena had caught onto his money laundering scheme and confronted him about it, and as long as she promised not to tell the rest of the family how dirty the patriarch’s hands were then she could have what she wanted.
Which was to take over the Le Comtoir Bar in Paris when they had begun scouting locations in the famed City of Love city for their next hotel. In the end her father agreed and she was sure it was likely to keep her out of the way and out of his business, thinking she’d be too busy diving head first into running a prominent business. For the most part, he was correct. The first year of ownership Lena was in over her head. Learning business in university and playing a part in her father’s company was one thing, actually immersed in a business and it all resting on her shoulders was quite another. Eventually her feet found solid ground and she was able to fully take the reins and handle the bar as she’d always dreamed. Now, after two years, Lena is at ease at the helm and also has returned a watchful eye to her father’s affairs.

Paris will give the famed Champs-Elysees a makeover ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games by planting trees and increasing pedestrian areas, the French capital's officials said on Wednesday.
The French often call it "the most beautiful avenue in the world" but activists complain that traffic and luxury retail have turned it into a noisy and elitist area shunned by ordinary Parisians.
"We need to re-enchant the capital's most famous avenue, which has lost a lot of its splendour in the past 30 years," the mayor of the capital's 8th district Jeanne d'Hauteserre told reporters.
"It's a reduction of the space for cars, to be clear, because that's how we need to envision the city of the future," socialist Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo said.
The plan is in keeping with other efforts by the city leader to squeeze cars out of Paris and make the city more green, a push that has divided residents with critics saying her policies go too far too fast.
But supporters have lauded the former presidential candidate's efforts to reduce pollution and increase green areas in the densely populated city that can become unbearable when increasingly frequent summer heatwaves hit.
Around the Arc de Triomphe, which perches atop the Champs-Elysees, the plan is to widen the pedestrian ring surrounding the monument.
And at the bottom of the two kilometre-(1.2 mile) long avenue next to the Place de la Concorde, the "Re-enchant the Champs-Elysees" plan will revamp the gardens.
"We will create a hectare and a half of green spaces and plant over a hundred trees," deputy mayor Emmanuel Gregoire said.
Paris will spend 26 million euros ($27.5 million) in the lead up to the Olympics on the works set to begin within weeks.
The terraces near the top of the avenue favoured by tourists will also be reworked by Belgian designer Ramy Fischler, who will strive to "preserve the identity and personality" of the area, he said.
The Champs-Elysees was first laid out in 1670 but was given a revamp by Baron Haussmann, the architect behind the transformation of Paris under Napoleon III in the mid-19th century.
Over the centuries, the avenue has been the stage for the high and low moments in French history, hosting celebrations and commemorations as well as protests, notably the violent Yellow Vest movement.
It is also used as the route for the Bastille Day military parade, which celebrates the French republic and its armed forces on July 14, as well as the finishing point for the annual Tour de France cycle race.

tidbits aka shortened version of her bio!
Margo was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1985 to Aaron and Simone Harris. Her father was a wealthy man, having built his own company with his own two hands, and he had constant expectations that Margo would one day take his place.
-
(This bullet contains mention of anxiety, please skip to the next bullet) The pressure he placed on her caused her a great amount of anxiety, to the point where Margo often had anxiety attacks throughout her teens.
-
The only thing Margo truly enjoyed was painting. To this day, painting and art is the only thing that gives her peace.
While she loved her younger sister, she often found herself withdrawing from her due to her father’s constant expectations and his obvious disinterest in Micayla having a position in the company.
After she obtained her Masters, she interned at her father’s company for a few years, but found that it drained all of her energy. She was even more stressed than before and she eventually told her father that she simply didn’t want to do it anymore. He didn’t take it well and it pretty much shattered their already fragile relationship.
She moved to Paris and absolutely fell in love. The lights, the culture, the art. She began painting again and immersed herself in the creative community that flourished in the city.
-
(This section contains mention of death, please skip to the next bullet) Her parents were killed in a robbery a few years later and Margo was, of course, devastated.
-
She took over her father’s position in the company as CEO in order to preserve his legacy and has been building onto what he left her ever since.
She’s not particularly happy about where her path has led- this isn’t the life she would have chosen for herself but she feels obligated to keep the company going.
Margo is a fan of the finer things in life. She loves fine wine and shopping and adores treating people that she considers friends.
What she wants, above everything, is to repair the relationship she has with her sister. But Margo isn’t a particularly sentimental person, nor does she know how to talk about her feelings, so... ya girl is trying.
potential connections.
personal assistant. I’ll be submitting a wanted connection for this eventually, but it’s just as it sounds! This person would probably be more equitable to a best friend, just someone she pays to keep her schedule, plan her trips and occasionally drag her out of her office for food and water.
friends. Margo doesn’t have many, but the few has are close to her heart. They’re people who understand her often... abrupt nature, and know that she normally doesn’t mean anything by it. She’s down for mani/pedis, shopping, day trips to the spa, an afternoon at an art museum.
enemies. We would most likely have to plot this out, but not everyone is meant to like each other! And in-character, I have a feeling that would be interesting to portray!
creative friend. Probably the only person that Margo will ever share her paintings with. They talk about art, spend their time looking over each other’s work. Could be something fun to work with!
work friends/partners/deals/associates etc. Harris Enterprises is a large, international enterprise and Margo has all sorts of dealings with all sorts of people! Maybe they work in the same building, or maybe Margo is trying to work out a deal or project with your characters company.
romance. This is pretty open, and I don’t have anything concrete because I 100% believe romance connections should be based on chemistry. However, I am open to just about anything! Friends with benefits, one night stands, affairs (the more scandalous the better), actual romance, whatever might come up!
rivals. I think this is seperate from enemies, because rivals can like and respect each other! Competition can be healthy, or it can be unhealthy! It’s all up to what we wanna do!

Groups of young men with faces masked, some carrying metal bars and axes, rioted on the streets of central Paris on Saturday, setting a dozen vehicles ablaze and torching buildings, unleashing the city’s worst urban unrest for years.
Near the Ritz hotel, not far from high-end boutiques and restaurants, and in the avenues off the Arc de Triomphe, where several foreign embassies are located, gangs of violent protesters ran riot, setting a police van on fire and overturning cars. At least two buildings were aflame.
Close to the Place Vendome, Christmas trees decorating the streets were upended, piled in the middle of an avenue and set alight, prompting chanting from scores of protesters.
Youths smashed the windows of the flagship Apple Store on the Champs Elysees which opened just a few weeks ago. A boutique on the Rue Rivoli was broken into and looted. Banks were vandalized and scrawled with anti-government graffiti.
Police said several hundred far-right and far-left extremists had infiltrated a demonstration by some 5,000 calmer “yellow vest” protesters who had gathered in the capital to denounce President Emmanuel Macron’s fuel tax increases.
“We are in a state of insurrection, I’ve never seen anything like it,” Jeanne d’Hauteserre, the mayor of the city’s 8th arrondissement, near the Arc de Triomphe, told BFM TV.

PARIS (AP) — U.S. singer Chris Brown and two other people are in custody in Paris after a woman filed a rape complaint, French officials said Tuesday. The Grammy Award-winning singer was detained Monday on potential charges of aggravated rape and drug infractions and remained in custody Tuesday, a judicial official said. Investigators have another two days to decide whether to let him go or file preliminary charges. Brown’s publicists at Sony Music would not comment Tuesday on the complaint or say what Brown, 29, was doing in Paris. His U.S. attorney, Mark Geragos, did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Brown has been in repeated legal trouble since pleading guilty to the felony assault in 2009 of his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. He completed his probation in that case in 2015, but has continued to have run-ins with police. The woman who filed the Paris complaint said she met Brown and his friends overnight Jan. 15-16 at the club Le Crystal in the 8th arrondissement near the Champs-Elysees, and then they all went to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel near the Concorde Plaza in central Paris, according to the official. The Mandarin Oriental would not comment on the investigation, and Le Crystal could not immediately be reached. There was no unusual activity outside either site. One of Brown’s bodyguards is among the others detained in the Paris investigation, according to the official. They are being held by judicial police in the 17th arrondissement of northwest Paris, the official said. #chrisbrown #chrisbreezy #teambreezy #chrisbrownarrested #chrisbrownarrestedinparis #chrisbrownparis #allegations #rape #drake #karrueche #rihanna #bloods #wholelottagangshit #paris #france — view on Instagram http://bit.ly/2FScVR2

If you want to take in some of Paris’s local nightlife, then your best bet is to go to Le Marais district, where there are many art galleries, cafes, restaurants, and nightclubs. There are also plenty of shops around Place des Vosges including Monoprix, where you can find everything from clothing to housewares for a reasonable price.
Paris has long been known for being a romantic destination for couples around the world. Of all the places in this city, here are a few iconic locations that you must visit in your next all-girl trip to Paris:
The Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triumphe or Are de Triomphe de l’Etoile is a huge triumphal arch at the heart of Paris. It's among the most popular commemorative monuments around the world. The arch is a symbol of French nationalism, and it took 30 years to erect it.
It's located near the Place Charles de Gaulle, just around 2 KM away from the eastern terminus. Napoleon-I commissioned the Arc to honor the French military’s achievements in the victory of the Battle of Austerlitz.
Tumblr media
Place de la Concorde
Place de la Concorde is located in Paris, between the Champs-Elysees and the Tuileries Gardens in the 8th arrondissement in the eastern part of Paris. This is one of the most famous squares in Paris. Some fountains are fed by underground springs with four alleys leading to a larger fountain positioned in front of Hotel Crillon. The square is surrounded by many stores and was the site of the main station of Paris for rail travelers.
The Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is a 324 m (1,063 ft) tall monument built in 1889 on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France, as a gift to the city from the World's Fair celebrating the centennial of its popular Revolution.
It is now one of the most recognizable structures in Paris and one of the most visited tourist attractions in France. The tower was constructed by Gustave Eiffel and took over two years to complete, and was worth USD1.5 million when it was completed.
Tumblr media
It is composed of 18,000 pieces. It was the tallest structure in the world until 1930, when it was overtaken by the Chrysler Building in New York. The tower also has three platforms that are open to the public from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of Paris from above.
Notre Dame Cathedral
Notre Dame de Paris, or simply Notre Dame to locals, is a historic Catholic cathedral built on the Ile de la Cite of the Seine River. It is a famous landmark and a major tourist attraction.
The building was constructed by Maurice de Sully, and its construction began around 1163. The cathedral has many architectural details from different eras, including Gothic architecture from the 13th century. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is one of the well-known buildings in Paris in 1991.
Paris is undeniably one of the major attractions in Europe. It boasts beautiful architecture, historical monuments, numerous parks, and stunning designs of exquisite buildings. It will take you only a short time to discover all its best destinations with your friends!

 An Unexpected Dream
On December 12, 2020 evening, the day before my flight back to the Philippines. I was walking home from work. It’s Friday, a blast of December wind blew across my face, reminding me of the holiday season, the weather is bitterly cold, dark clouds are gathering above the towers' peaks. There weren't many people in the area once I'd left the main road. Avenue des Champs-Élysées, it’s recognized all around the globe for its luxury retailers, which range from little shops to high-street businesses, and it's located in Paris's 8th arrondissement. Apart from fashion, the Avenue Champs-Elysees is known for its upscale cabarets and casinos. But that time it was dark in the narrow alleyways. It was really silent. The city seemed to be anticipating something.
As I went, I reflected on what had occurred at work. One of my French coworkers, someone whom I cooperated with, had a problem with me. It was the first significant problem since working in the company for 5 years. I didn’t expect that it  would get this far. I was struggling to sort out what's next, praying for the best at the same time. After about five minutes, it started to storm heavily, as well as the streets were quickly entirely white. As I strolled along a dim street, I heard the sound of a door slamming abruptly within a residence. After that, I heard a crashing sound in my mind’s ears. The apartment door burst open, and a man dashed out, crashing and hitting me.
'Hey, what are you doing!? look where you're going next time man!!! I screamed into my throat, my words are resonating loudly in the stormy roadway. For a brief period, the man turned around to face me “Je suis désolé'” he murmured gently in French, which means “I’m sorry”, before swiftly walking away. What I observed on that windy street at that moment was unusual, and I was terrified. The temperature drops up to 8 degrees and I can feel some cold spots in my body. I put my hand in some of the spots and it seemed like it was burning because what I saw was a reflection of myself. My brow furrowed as I looked down and I sincerely said “It’s okay mate”. Then his eyes are like a blind slave following his unseen boss everywhere I go. With the sound of rain and wind rustling heard across the glass pane, I suddenly woke up in disbelief and quickly got out of bed.
   Chapter 2 Who am I?
Before I go on with the rest of this narrative, I suppose I should tell you a little about myself. I'm Jack Daniel, 34 years old, working as a civil engineer in Nelite Software Company in Paris, France. I was an architect in the Philippines then I transferred to Nelite Software Company here in Paris France to provide for the needs of my family, in short, I am an OFW. I was married to Sofia Daniel and we have identical daughters which are Lana and Riley. They are the reason why I am working hard because I want them to experience a fruitful life. Because life it's like being on a rollercoaster ride. It has its rise and fall, but you have the choice to either stop and give up or relax and enjoy the journey.
I stand about one and a half meters tall. I work as an architect in the Philippines ArcoGroup Inc. Company. I finished college at UP Diliman with the Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BS Architecture), a five-year curriculum that focuses on giving students technical and aesthetic knowledge on how to create any physical structure.
I was given the opportunity to work at Nelite Software Company in Paris, France. Somebody was needed to lead a young French team on a critical new project. I was extremely happy. It was a better job back in the Philippines, and I believed working abroad, countries I'd never visited, would be fascinating. There was so much to discover! And I picked it up quickly. The company sent me to a special school to take French language courses. French is very different from English at all.
   Chapter 3
 The Tragic Accident
December 13, 8:00 in the evening, I was on a plane back to the Philippines because I had a month of vacation, but I didn’t inform my family about it, because I wanted it to be a surprise. I was enjoying my flight with mouthwatering ripe apples, delicate oranges, and delicious grapes served on my table. But after 7 hours on the flight, a tragic accident happened, the plane crashed in the middle of the Indian Sea.
I'm not really a frightened passenger, in essence, I was chilling and dozing off as the aircraft blasted. Then a big explosion happened, it sounded like a vehicle bumping
each other very hard. The aircraft shook, as well as the stench of the burning engine filled the air and there were several cries and gasps from the other passengers.
I can see us bouncing back and forth through the window. We were so high up that the homes seemed like lego sets and the vehicles appeared like insects. I said calmly, "Alright, perhaps one of our engines has burst, but we do have another engine, so we're turning back to Indira Gandhi International Airport, also the captain has everything under control." But later on, I realized that I was completely unaware that both engines had failed.
Everybody was analyzing the circumstance, which was oddly silent. It was clear that we're not going back to Indira Gandhi International Airport, instead, we were heading in the middle of the Indian Sea, and I began to believe this was it. I quickly remembered my wife Sofia Daniel, and our two daughters, Lana and Riley. "This is the captain, brace for impact", as everything became crystal clear. I had to shift my focus away from disaster and onto what I would do after the pilot had crashed there in the sea.
After the crash, it seemed like the worst accident imaginable. We slammed to a standstill after bouncing. Many passengers had bleeding noses or eyes as a result of colliding with the cabin next to them.
Chapter 4
 The Death of Jack Daniel
December 14, 7:00 in the morning the news declared that flight code BA2469 from Paris to Manila had crashed in the middle of the Indian Sea. Out of the 805 people including the passengers and crews only 7 people were found alive. Only 305 bodies were discovered and the 500 bodies left were found missing including the body of Jack Daniel.
Sofia, Lana, and Riley Daniels have seen the news so they panicked and they called Jack over and over again but for how many hours Jack didn’t answer. The news felt like a dagger in their heart. They knew that Jack was one of the passengers but they didn’t give up, their hope was fading little by little. But then Jack miraculously answered their call. Jack said he was safe and he was on his way back to the Philippines.
Daniel’s family Sofia, Lana, and Riley were all in disbelief that their head of the family Jack is still alive, safe, and sound. Because of love Sofia, Lana, and Riley were blinded to reality, they didn’t believe in the news and what other people say about Jack. For them what is important is that Jack is still alive and they will start all over again to have a happy and fruitful life after five years of being apart from each other.
We all experience love at a certain time in life. We all convey love in various manners towards the people we love, therefore, everyone has varied methods of loving. There are various types of love as well. There's love for your husband and wife, your
brothers and sisters, your kids, your mother and father, your friends. Each one of these types of love has the potential to be blind because of love. There really are moments where you fall deeply in love with someone. So deeply that you lose sight of who they truly are. True love is like a fart. It's hot and humid and while it might be unpleasant at times, it can also be the finest feeling in the world. "If You Have To Force It, It's Probably Shit."
   Chapter 5
 The Return of Jack Daniel
After 8 hours of worrying Sofia received a message from Jack that he was already in the Philippines. Without hesitation, Sofia with their two daughters went to the location that Jack texted and picked him up immediately. Sofia, Lana, and Riley were very happy to see him back alive and safe.
“It was bitterly cold, the water already reached the waist of several folks. I kept imagining that I’m going to drown and die immediately. Hypothermia is going to kill me. Different situations came to my mind like the doors cant be opened and it's going to crash slowly. The wing snagged in the water and tossed us over and over again in a particular movement until the plane collapsed and I was upside down and buried in water” Jack said paranoidly.
Jack remembered from his childhood “Wednesday, December 12th, the same day of my flight, at 4:30 a.m. These extremely loud noises were very near to my ear. It's
practically a whisper, yet it's loud. If I had to describe it, it'd be a shadowy good shout that left me feeling deflated. I'm really stressed out, and stress exacerbates schizophrenia symptoms. Anyone standing right behind me causes me some worry. I've also seen similar shadows on the walls, which are accompanied by noises that sounded like a creature scratching across the wall.
Even with medicine, it is a daily occurrence for me. The medicine has helped me with some of my hallucinations, such as the voices and shadows that I see, and I still hear voices in a language that I don't understand. Another voice tells me that “I'm useless, worthless, and I deserve to die, and that I should just give up with all I'm doing”.
As a kid, I never recognized there was something wrong with me. When I go to bed at night and the monsters come out, I simply think that's one of those horrible things I have to cope with. I trembled and shivered up and down my spine. The next few years were extremely difficult, they began to worsen, and I began to see shadows around me, so I went to see a psychiatrist, who prescribed me some medication, after which I spent many years trying various medications and attempting to figure out what worked for me at the time they diagnosed me.
It's terrifying to know that anything might happen at any time, and you'll see something that other people don't see or hear something that other people don't hear.”
Chapter 6
 Deceitful Jack Daniel
The day after, Jack was already on his right mind and he told everything that happened during the plane crash to Sofia, Lana and Riley “I watched a vibrant red explosion explode out, separating a big section of something like the aircraft's cabins from both the majority of the landing gear, and I heard calls for assistance, but there was very little I could do because we were also plugging directly into the waters. I certainly wasn't expecting to experience pain whenever I turned my head again because there was no way I could have endured the horrific accident, but agony surged throughout my parts of the body, and torrents of blood flowed everywhere over me while I attempted to move.
I began moving much further apart out from damage until I could. Whenever a huge explosion blasted the sea under me, I knew I'd gone much further. I realized that perhaps if I didn't receive treatment right away, I'd die from my wounds. Memories began playing in my brain on their own, the days I am with my family, my three beautiful girls Sofia, Lana, and Riley. Who will take care of them without me? The shame of trying to get away from my family, everything; I knew, I am going to die.
God, on the other hand, does seem to have different plans for me. Suddenly the air has been instantly overwhelmed with one of the most beautiful music I would have ever listened to, the lovely whispery melodies of the rescue squad and ambulance. I was one of just seven people who survived the devastating plane accident. I'm not that
sure how I will express my gratitude to our God, but I will try my very best to make the most of this second chance at life that he gave me.” Jack was pretty confident that Sofia, Lana, and Riley were convinced with his story. Since then Jack kept a Lockback pocket knife for protection because others might recognize his real identity. Jack is a person like an onion, with each layer containing a different narrative. The exterior skin, which everyone will see, is his first layer.
   Chapter 7
 Harvey Hayes To The Rescue
Harvey Hayes is a private detective in a private company law enforcement agency in the Philippines. As a detective his works are talking to witnesses and informants, gathering physical evidence, and reviewing databases in order to gather information in solving crimes. Harvey finished criminal law and criminology, graduated from UP Diliman, the same school as Jack Daniel. Jack is the closest friend of Harvey since childhood until college.
“Jack and I were more like brothers than friends, Jack was always a lovely young boy when he was younger. His warm and loving demeanor, his sense of humor, and his ability to make me laugh made my inner-self just as attractive. We were inseparable over the summer, even though we lived approximately a mile apart. Our day would begin with each of us performing our regular household chores. I would ride my bike to Jack’s house every day after I finished my duties, then we would buy some candy swirls of cocoa powder, and somewhat sweet yet salty caramel dissolved
together as it melted in our lips. We would then stroll to our town's neighboring college the UP Diliman and we made a promise to each other that one day we will study at the same college which is the UP Diliman.” Jack is like my brother, yes he is my friend but I consider him to be my biological brother. I adore him as my brother because he was always there for me, even when no one else was. We are lifelong brothers from another mother.
Harvey’s ex-girlfriend was Sofia Daniel, for 5 years from high school until college. “We're the same age and attended the same elementary school in Manila, but we hadn't met yet because it was a large school. Until we went to the same high school and were set up on a blind date by common acquaintances. We hit it off immediately and have been together ever since. After 5 years it's very difficult to end a long-term relationship, but it's much more difficult to get over your ex-girlfriend. Each day brings back pleasant recollections of wonderful times or painful memories of conflicts, experiencing life after a breakup feels like an ongoing battle.”
Harvey found out the news that Jack was one of the victims of the airplane crash and until now his body is still unfound and missing. He was on his way to the house of Sofia because he wanted to empathize with the death of Jack, but suddenly on his way, he saw Jack with his family happily eating their dinner. With the sting of vinegar in his nose a moment after pouring it into the boiling pot, the dark profound scent of chicken it's instantly identifiable as adobo. As long as Harvey wants to go inside and inform Sofia and the two daughters about it, he chooses not to. Because Jack was still jealous
and he suspects that Harvey and Sofia are still a thing even after how many years during their high school until college relationship. Jack thinks that if there is a chance that they meet each other again, they will have a comeback with their feelings, even if Jack and Sofia already have kids. But on the other hand, Harvey is still single with no wife, no girlfriend, and no kids, that's why Jack thinks that they can fall in love again.
   Chapter 8
 The Mission of Harvey Hayes
This happened a year ago when Harvey and Sofia unexpectedly met in a local fast food store and because of this they sat and ate together, they talked about each other’s life. And when Sofia told this to Jack he got angry and they had a severe fight leading to Jack hurting Sofia. Jack also threatened Sofia that he will leave them including their daughters Lana and Riley if Sofia repeated the same mistake again.
So, since then Sofia has avoided Harvey and did not talk to him again. But Harvey isn’t willing to give up yet he will try his best because the lives of Sofia, Lana, and Riley are at risk. Harvey is willing to do everything just to save their lives against the person so-called “Jack” and his intentions.
Harvey observed “Jack” for how many weeks and he noticed that Jack, the man he truly knew from the beginning, wasn't the same and seemed like a totally different person. And his belief increased and now he is really convinced that Jack died in the airplane crash and the Jack they believed was with them wasn’t the real one. One day
when they accidentally met in a local supermarket, Harvey approached Jack and Jack entertained him without any doubt. He asked, “Hey Jack, do you still remember me?”, “Not really, but I saw you talking with my wife Sofia the other day, do I know you? Jack replied.
Harvey thinks he's faking his condition about having brain damage, due to the recent crash. Harvey wondered why Jack entertained him instead of ignoring and envying him because of the reason that happened last time when Jack got angry and had a severe fight leading to hurting Sofia. Harvey knows that Sofia was avoiding him because of Jack. Harvey tests Jack by introducing himself as the old friend of Sofia. In all disbelief, Jack agreed and he believed that Harvey is really the old friend of Sofia.
Harvey told Sofia that Jack couldn't remember him anymore. Sofia couldn't believe it as well because it’s impossible. In order to make Sofia believe, he asks her to go to the local fast food store, the same fast food store, when they unexpectedly meet each other. But this time Sofia would ask permission from Jack to see Harvey. Miraculously Jack agreed without any complaints.
   Chapter 9
 Jill Leonard the “Doppelganger”
On the day they met, Harvey told everything he knows to Sofia after how many weeks of observing and investigating “When we’re still kids Jack’s mother always mentioned the name Jill, she told us that Jill exactly looks like Jack but Jill is not like
Jack, he is Jack’s doppelganger. Jack’s mother believes that he’s a bad person and he will hurt us, so as much as possible we should protect each other from Jill. She further said that “always inform me when you guys see that person because your life may be endangered.”
A doppelganger, according to Jack's mother, is a strange, identical duplicate of a live human. A doppelganger isn't simply somebody who looks like you, but someone who is a perfect replica of oneself, simply the way you move, act, speak and dress. Although if you really can show you were not at the place where your doppelganger was spotted, a colleague or maybe even a direct relative who sees your doppelganger would believe it was you. And seeing a doppelganger has sometimes been seen as a sign of bad luck or disaster.
Harvey further said that “Jill for how many years was lonely and he lived a terrible and miserable life. Unlike Jack he doesn’t have a family, he was an orphan who lived in slums for the majority of his life and found out about living a hard way. Every day may  be a struggle for the millions of young people who live in slums, including Jill. Jill begins his existence on the margins of poverty, lacking access to education, facilities, and hygiene. He suffers from starvation and sickness, and he is forced into adult duties far too soon.
Until now he knew that you didn’t know his real identity, so he might take advantage of it and he may have bad intentions for you and your daughters. Jill might
be planning a way to make your family suffer then he will kill you one by one and no one will survive. Because of the life, he experienced he might want to take revenge on you and your daughters.
Sofia answered “But why me? Why my daughters? Why my family? What have we done for him to hurt us? To do this with us? Did we do something wrong to him?  Why does he want revenge on us? Jill replied, “We don't know yet that's why I need you to communicate and work with me in order to know the reason why.”
   Chapter 10
 Kidnapping Jill Leonard the “Doppelganger”
December 5, 7:00 pm, Sofia agreed to kidnap Jill the “Doppelganger” to make him confess and admit his own persona on who he really is. With one and only condition which is no one will get hurt, and no one will die. The only mission was to know the truth and nothing but the truth.
One evening when Jill was all alone at home because Lana and Riley were on a sleepover vacation with one of their friends and Sofia asked permission that she will see her long-time friend in college.
Harvey knocked on the door. He asked whether he could see Sofia because he had something to say to her. Jack informed him that Sofia had left because she would
see her long-time friend in college but would return shortly. Jack welcomed Harvey into the house.
Harvey suddenly seized Jack, Jack was taken aback. Jack’s hands were bound, his mouth was gagged, and was blinded. He was crammed into a car and taken to an unknown location. He couldn't do anything because he was terrified. After they reached the destination, Harvey pulled Jack out of the car and shoved him against a wall. When he took off his blindfold, he found himself in a dark room.
“What do you want from me? Why am I here? Who are you? Release me! Leave me alone! My family needs me! I swear when I get out of here you will go to jail!!!” Jack said angrily.
“No one will get hurt and you will get out of this unharmed, safe, and sound if you will communicate with us, you need to answer our questions honestly and if we knew that you were not telling the truth you will die right here right!” Sofia answered. Harvey asks “We already know that you are Jack, and you are just pretending now tell me who you really are?” Truth, it's always like a drop of oil in water because regardless of how much water you add, the truth will always float to the top at all times.
After how many hours of questioning. Finally, Jack made the decision that he needed to get away from Harvey and Sofia. He took a peek around the dimly lit room. There was no way out except through a little window that was locked. Before attempting
to unlock the window, he waited until Harvey and Sofia had fallen asleep. He used his Lockback pocket knife, which he kept in his pocket to escape from the ropes and to open the glass. He crept out of the house quietly and quickly, then he raced as quickly as his legs could take him. He stumbled and fell many times since it was so dark and finally Jack made it to the main road.
   Chapter 11
The Sad Reality of the Life of Jill Leonard the “Doppelganger”
But after getting to the main road, Jack decided to go back to the unknown place with Sofia and Harvey. When he got back Harvey and Sofia were shocked, they were arguing because they might go to jail. Then Harvey told everything to them “I am Jill Leonard Daniel, the identical twin of Jack Daniel, December 5, 1986, the day today was the same day we were born at San Lazaro Hospital, Manila. Our mom successfully gave birth to both of us, but as an infant, Jack was healthy with no implication but me, I have heart defects and lung defects. Which made my condition critical and according to the doctors I only have a 10% chance of surviving.
In a shocking event, our parents took Jack and they abandoned me at San Lazaro Hospital, Manila. Because they believe that I will die because of my heart and lung problems. But miraculously I survived and lived, and it turns out that 10% is still a 10%. The authorities failed to locate my parents, then I was sent to Home for the Angels Child Caring Foundation, Inc. an orphan care center in metro manila. When I was 7
years old the orphanage informed me that there was a family who was willing to adopt me. As time went by and when that day came I escaped the orphanage.
I was exposed to extreme amounts of stress, physical and emotional violence, and mental trauma as a child growing up on the streets, I had severe emotional and behavioral problems, anxiety and sadness, poor self-esteem, withdrawal, and feelings of hopelessness, I was presented with a plethora of issues. Growing up in a typically hazardous environment entails significant dangers. I don't always have food since I don't generate it and don't have the money to buy it. I eat anything I can get my hands on. I am susceptible to a variety of ailments as a result of my lack of cleanliness, and my health is frequently concerning. Without a family to look after me, I had to fend for myself.
Clearly, I am uneducated. As a result, I am not given the same chances as you. In reality, I don't see a future for myself and lack professional qualifications, I'm having trouble obtaining work and eventually getting off the streets. We were viewed as outcasts, and we were frequently discriminated against. People have stereotypes about us that label us as "street children." As a result, I'm frequently linked to the hazards of the streets. It is tough for me to reintegrate into society on a regular basis.
December 13, 2020. When I found out the news that Jack died in a plane crash, I took that opportunity, and for the first time, “I was able to say to myself that finally now I have a family”.
Family isn't usually related by blood. It's really the people in your life who want you to be a part of their lives, who embrace you as you are. The people who would go  to any extent to make you happy and who would always adore you. As a result, be grateful for what you have. “The most important thing in the world is family and love.”

un — THE CHARACTER
NAME: Genesis del Razo
AGE: Twenty-eight
BIRTHDAY: January 2, 1994
GENDER/PRONOUNS: Cis female ; she/her
OCCUPATION: Concert pianist
BIRTHPLACE: Zapopan, Mexico
ARRONDISSEMENT: Elysée ( 8th )
LENGTH OF TIME IN PARIS: 4 years
deux —  THEIR STORY
Trigger Warnings: accident, injury, depression
By the age of two Genesis del Razo could play the piano and she could read music before she could read words. The youngest daughter of two PhD holders was educated at home, finding the pace of school to be too slow and not conducive to her depth of imagination and creativity. When the girl was four years of age she’d already begun improvising on the piano, and just a year later she’d composed her first sonata. The term prodigy was attached to Genesis and her name rose to fame in her home country of Mexico, performing on grand stages and television. By the age of ten she’d composed her first full-length opera and began performing piano concertos around the world on all the biggest stages. She was winning awards and hearts, receiving multiple standing ovations, and slowly lost sight of what it was to be a kid.
When she was sixteen, Genesis was admitted to the conducting degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, her entire family moving abroad with her as she continued her climb to greatness and history. As she reached into her teenage years, Genesis really began to feel boxed in by the focus on her age and the comparisons she received to the likes of legendary piano powerhouses. What she wanted desperately was to be her own person and for audiences and critics alike to focus on her music rather than anything else. In the media the attention she received was more about the astonishment of her age than the actual accomplishments, and the never ending comparisons to other pianists and composers wore on the thick skin she had yet to build. The world constantly questioned and tested her talents and despite her achievements, Genesis was always having to prove herself.
Upon graduation and the completion of another world tour, Genesis and her family left Austria. Returned to Mexico, the young twenty-something rebelled against her constantly scheduled and very structured life. Aching for some independence and to experience many of the things she’d always catch her friends posting on Instagram about, she ran off with her best friend. They drove north to America on a loosely mirrored Thelma and Louise adventure sans the crime, and Genesis stayed on the road living in one place or another for a couple to a few months at a time. She dated, got drunk at a bar, went off-roading in the desert, knew what it was to feel the rush of fleeting things when young and wild. Eventually Genesis made her way home and sought the forgiveness of her parents, who had been terrified of her tarnishing her image or somehow falling from grace in her career.
Before her move to Paris, Genesis had played on the biggest and most famed stages around the world, but she wanted a break from constantly touring and always being on the go. An arrangement was made with the Théâtre Edouard VII for Genesis to perform a residency, where she’d compose concertos and operas for a set number of shows a year. Of all the times she had visited Paris and moved her fingers across the keys at the Palais Garnier, she’d always wanted to at least live in the city for at least a few years. The first year of shows had been so successful that a further contract had been set for an additional two years. Genesis played her heart out and composed music from her soul, finding escape into it when heartbreak turned her world upside down for a while. Some reviews even said that she gave her most passionate performances during that time.
With an unfaithful ex in her wake, Genesis was ready to do some touring again. Paris had begun to feel a little suffocating due to the wounds her heart had taken on. However, it was an escape from the limelight that could potentially cost her everything. A runaway trip to the alps with a few friends she was involved in an accident that hurt her left hand. She did everything she could to avoid surgery but her hand wouldn’t get any better, the joints ached at just about any pressure and movement. It was risky, undergoing surgery that could completely put an end to the one thing that truly moved her in life, but little by little improvement has begun to give Genesis hope. Depression took her down hard, suddenly thrust into the world of what if she couldn’t play the piano anymore. What would she do with her life then? It’s something she struggles with as she tries to push healing with big contracts and opportunities looming.
