Kinktober Day 24 - Sub/Dom dynamics

A/N: This one has been kicking about in my drafts for ages, ever since I realised I could see Little Elvis in the photo below.

Hooray yipee!! we have made it to major league, everyone say helloo hondaaa- wait, I mean hondo.

I definitely think he has the best car out of the boxers idk theres smth about him

Is goated at those arcade motorbike racing machines and rhythm games

He hates claw machines, he always loses on them but somehow ends up playing them over and over and over- oh there goes his money

Outside the ring he is quite charitable with all the money he has earned from boxing (inspired from that one old nintendo comic where he was revealed to be a pretty good guy)

Likes to say he is respectable in the ring.... But his ass is competitive so sometimes he slips up

Its a running joke that his fans either call him 'sonic' after the blue hedgehog or 'honda' after the car brand

Because of this, most of his gifts from fans are sonic keychains which he lovingly attaches to every.single.bag. He owns (which is alot)

Got dragged to a karaoke one time with the others and ended up doing a very drunk and very bad rendition of baby one more time by Britany spears

I think his alchohol tolerance is abysmal, after one or two drink's the 'asian flush' kicks in and if you dont get him back home in time he WILL fall asleep

Has a collection of little things he has won from different gachapon, this started when he was around 10

He has always been pretty fast even as a kid, he did and still does run into stuff sometimes (like the locker situation I mentioned in my major league locker room hcs😈)

Very superstitious, firmly believes ghosts are real and will do anything to prove it (has dragged the others to do those abandoned house ghost hunting things)

I think he would be musically gifted, play's drums and bass as a hobby

He has a great appetite, is noted for his ability to make convayor belt sushi places run out of sushi temporarily (inspo from his rematch title defense cutscenes)

He ended up getting banned from one for eating so much sushi to the point the chefs were getting worried for his digestion

Likes doing adventurous stuff: rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, archery etc

LOVES action films, especially the ones with sports or fighting involved ( he is also a fan for tragic romance but, no one knows that because he's too shy to admit lawl)

Started sleep talking one time whilst having a dream he was sailor moon and woke himself up by shouting "moon prism power, make up!"

Because of his accent he cannot pronounce the letter 'r' and it really annoys him sometimes he just refuses to talk because of it

Has secretly tried on Don's toupee when he wasnt looking, he thought he looked like Elvis presley and started giggling to himself

His parents own a family run resturant, Hondo in highschool worked there and used the money he got to help pay his boxing training

Very humble dude and very chill outside the ring and apart from his severe competitiveness, he is considered one of the nicest out of the boxer roster

* ABOUT THE SONGWRITER: Curiously, "If I Were You" is the only non-soundtrack song Gerald Nelson wrote for the King. According to Nelson, he was asked by Lamar Fike or Freddy Bienstock to write songs for Elvis' movies. Some were chosen and some didn't, naturally. The thing is: given the type of movies Elvis was in, in mid to late 60s, most of the songs Nelson wrote for him had to fulfill a purpose: fit the movie plot. Nelson wrote for Elvis some of the poorest tasted material of the King's music career (needless to say that's on the Hollywood producers), such as the song "Yoga Is As Yoga Does" featured in the soundtrack of the movie "Easy Come, Easy Go" (1967). Even though the songs Gerald Nelson wrote didn't turn out to be (not even close to) greatest hits for Elvis, some had a spotlight of their own, like "Clambake" and "Double Trouble", both title tracks to those 1967 films mentioned.

There's an interview with Gerald Nelson I found in an Elvis Forum. He speaks about what he thinks of the songs he wrote for EP, a little bit about the recording sessions and his reason why he chose to release an album with the demos he taped to send to Elvis' staff.

I thought it might be fun to put together a CD of the original demonstration recordings of songs that I wrote for Elvis Presley. Some he recorded, some he didn’t. He was such a good friend and I respected his friendship so much that I never ask him to record any of my work. Lamar Fike or Freddy Beanstalk put those that he did in his hands. Elvis had never lived away from home before, and he was miserable, homesick for his mother, Gladys. “He needed someone to look out for him,” Mansfield says, “and Sergeant Norwood was a good one to do that.” William Norwood, the master sergeant, saw the despair in the kid’s face and took him home so he could call his mother. “When you come in my house, you can let it all out” was Norwood’s fatherly advice. “But when you walk out of my front door, you are now Elvis Presley. You’re an actor. You’re a soldier. So, by God, I want you to act! Don’t let anybody know how you feel on the inside."

When GIs from other companies razzed Elvis during marches, Sergeant Norwood would stop the proceedings and dress the offender down.

Presley reportedly turned down opportunities to tour as a military entertainer or serve as a recruiting pitchman when he was drafted, and generally wanted to be treated as an ordinary soldier. His entry into the Army created a media circus. But officials at Fort Hood, where Presley was assigned to the 2nd Armored Division and underwent basic and advanced training, ordered the media not to interfere with his training, since he was to be treated as any other recruit.

Yet the legend of a young Elvis who lived for about six months with his parents, Vernon and Gladys Presley, in a sprawling one-story house in Killeen has endured in Central Texas lore. Elvis was known to drive a Cadillac, go grocery shopping with his parents at the Piggly Wiggly and sometimes come out onto the front porch in the evenings to sign autographs.

Stories abound of the summer of '58, when Presley, tanned by the Texas sun, would be seen around town. His family rental house on Oak Hill Drive has been a novelty for longtime Killeen residents who drive by to see "the house where Elvis lived."

Teri Hospers, a pediatric cardiologist in San Antonio who attended Nolan Middle School in Killeen in the 1970s, remembers a story one of the teachers there often told about a dog he had as a boy who once bit Elvis. After Presley left Killeen, the dog appeared in a local parade with a sign around its neck, proclaiming "I bit Elvis Presley."

Bitten in backyard:

"To avoid fans gathered at his house, Elvis would run through the neighbors' backyards. That's how he got bitten," Hospers said. "We all thought it was a funny story. In a town like Killeen, it was exciting to have a connection to someone that famous."

Elvis letter to Fort Hood mentor:

Presley had written a heartfelt, two-page letter while serving in the Army in Germany. The letter, signed, "your friend, PFC Elvis Presley," was written by the King of Rock 'n' Roll at a pivotal time in his life, less than three months after his mother died, to a Fort Hood sergeant who mentored the young private and helped him deal with his grief.

In a similar dispatch he wrote from Germany to one of his cousins:

In that letter, sent the same month as to the one to Norwood, Presley wrote of his sadness over the loss of his mother, who had died of a heart attack at age 46.

He even mentioned longing for the "last few wonderful days at Fort Hood" that he spent with her, Livingston said.

Elvis Presley Community War Memorial Hall Syracuse New York;

steady stream of flashbulbs illuminated the big hall as Elvis Presley moved through C.C. Rider and I Got A Woman, teasing the heavily-female audience with many of those no longer infamous 'bumps'. The crowd joined in as Elvis Presley broke into Amen and then quieted as the Tupelo, MS. native switched to one of his biggest hits, Love Me. Elvis Presley got acquainted with the crowd early as Charlie Hodge, the only 'scarf man' in show business, provided him with a seemingly-endless flow of baby blue and white scarves. Elvis Presley draped them momentarily around his neck or wiped his thoroughly soaked brow and cast them into the audience. He might as well have been giving out $10 bills the way the recipients reacted.

Many in turn presented him with gifts - handmade items, clothing, yellow roses, etc. - and a few were rewarded with kisses from Elvis Presley's tremendous vocal range manifested itself in You Gave Me a Mountain and minutes later he had 8,400 Bicentennial-oriented men, women and children on their feet with a moving vocal and narrative rendition of America the Beautiful. He turned to a medley of his biggest hits - All Shook Up, Teddy Bear and Don't Be Cruel - but got as much applause from songs he borrowed from Olivia Newton-John and Peggy Lee. Jailhouse Rock, another old favorite and Polk Salad Annie followed before Elvis Presley introduced the talented group of singers and musicians who back him up. The latter served as a rest period for Elvis Presley while at the same time providing the opportunity for solo spots for his guitarists, drummer and piano players.

Elvis Presley got in a few bars of Early Mornin' Rain, What'd I Say?, Johnny B. Good and Love Letters during the instrumental solos and then brought the crowd to its feet with a stirring rendition of a former Timi Yuro hit Hurt, Elvis Presley's latest single. An encore performance of the latter plus a few short bars of Hound Dog brought Elvis Presley to the nostalgic Funny How Time Slips Away and the crowd moved closer with the realization that the concert end was near. Telling the crowd that 'You've been one of the finest audiences we ever worked with', Presley said he'll be back 'if you want me'. A thunderous standing ovation followed, giving Presley his answer, and security men whisked him out of the building as a virtual sea of humanity closed in on the stage. Love live Elvis Presley!
