Day 15 of OC Halloween Challenge- Soulmate AU- String of Fate that possesses destined lovers on the ends- Lia Lokidottir and Eluf Asmundson.

"Now class, can anyone tell me what the string of fate means?" her teacher's voice echoed in her head and she couldn't breath almost, registering only when Fern Jordan answers, happily giving the answer over and even happily showing her string of fate that was connected to Alexander.

Her other classmates that had strings either connected already or were still trying to find their other ends happily showed theirs as well, but all she could do was look sadly down at the cut red string on her wrist, the same string that used to be tied to someone, but all she could recall of the day she saw her string finally connecting up to someone in younger school, was her father chiding her with that fateful comment that still haunted her:

"We are villains, Ophelia, we don't have stings of fate"

And with a snip of those scissors, her father had cut her string of fate- Lia could rebel against her destiny as the next Loki all she wanted....she could never regain her string of fate though.....and she'd never find out who had been her destined love either.

Erico elbowed him playfully while Erica was called upon for the next question, Erico commenting at the sight of Eluf looking sadly at the cut ribbon on his wrist, "Hey, I'm sure your destiny will lead you to someone in the end"

Eluf held back a snort- he didn't even have a known destiny, he was just a random Asgardian who may be needed for a unknown role- and simply shook his head, "Its no good.....we both know the string of fate is the true decider of who I'm in love with....."

Eluf still didn't know who cut the string though or why they even did it, he just knew that someone did and that whoever it was....was likely determined to stay away from him, and despite his crush on Lia, it felt hopeless with his cut string a this rate....he was just a lost cause.....
